The present gross morphometrical studies were recorded on the os-coxae and synsacrum of peacock and peahen. The conjugate and vertical diameter of pelvic girdle in peahen was greater than compare to pelvic girdle of peacock. Pelvic girdle composed of three bones as ileum, ischium and pubis. The biometrical measurement as pre-acetabular and post-acetabular length was recorded in both sexes. The ilio-ischiatic foramen, which were largest foramen in pelvic bones and its maximum length and width were recorded in peacock and peahen. Maximum length of ischium and pubis, obturator foramen were compared in both sexes. The synsacrum was fusion of thoracic, lumbar and sacral bones. The number of vertebrae was recorded on peacock and peahen. These observations are useful in veterolegal cases and further studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
