The article reports on the decrease in the number of stray dogs in Great Britain. According to the report from "Dogs Trust," there has been relatively consistent levels being seen since 2004, despite year-on-year increase in rehoming figures. Between March 31 and April 1, 2007, it also shows that 105,068 stray dogs were picked up by local authorities in the country. In addition, 7892 dogs had to be euthanased, since they could not be rehomed.
