A new apterous flat bug genus and species, Paracremastaptera ximaensis Bai, Heiss & Cai, gen. nov. and sp. nov., is described from Yunnan, China. The diagnostic morphological features of the new genus and species are illustrated.

A new apterous genus and species of flat bugs, Neolibiocoris obtusus gen. nov. and sp. nov., and an additional new species, Rotundocoris pyramidalis sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Aradidae: Carventinae), are described from Hainan Island, China. The diagnostic morphological features of the new genus and species are discussed and illustrated. A revised key to apterous genera of Carventinae from Hainan Island is presented.

Based on new topotypical material, the apterous carventine genus Crassocoris Bai, Heiss & Cai, 2007 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Aradidae) with the type species C. hsiaoi Bai, Heiss & Cai, 2007, is redescribed. A new, closely related apterous genus and species, Paracrassocoris hekouensis gen. nov., sp. nov. is described from Hainan, China. The diagnostic morphological features of both taxa are described and illustrated.

The monotypic genus Vietnamaptera Zhang et al. 2010 was erected for the conspicuous apterous Carventinae species V. bogiessa from Vietnam. Aradid collections from Yunnan Province in China contained three new species belonging to this genus, which are described and figured. A key to the four species is given and photos of the hitherto unknown male of Signocoris kaszabi Hoberlandt 1958 are presented.

From Hainan Province, southern China, a new genus of Carventinae: Caiaptera n. gen with the species C. picea n. sp. and a new genus of Mezirinae: Hainanmezira n. gen with the species H. latiscutellata n. sp. as well as Notoplocaptera hainanensis n. sp., are described and illustrated. Additional records are given, and a list of species recorded to date from this province is presented.

The aradid genus Yangiella Hsiao is reviewed. Two species are recognized. The type-species, Y. mimetica Hsiao, is redescribed and the new species, Y. montana Zhang, Bai, Heiss & Cai, is described. In this paper five new records for the Chinese flat bug fauna are reported: Aradus angularis Sahlberg 1886, Aradus betulae (Linnaeus 1758), Aradus distinctus Fieber 1860, Aradus tonkinensis Kormilev & Heiss 1976, and Aradus rysakovi Kiritshenko 1951. Aradus wuzhisanensis Liu 1981from Hainan Province is synonymised with Aradus candidatus Bergroth 1889, a species known from Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos. A new species, Aradus gaoligongensis n. sp. from Sichuan Province, belongs to the “transiens”-group and is described and figured. In addition, new distribution data are given for 8 Aradus species.

Two aradid species of the genus Barcinus from China are recognized. Barcinus kormilevi Bai, Heiss & Cai is described as new to science. The female of Barcinus bhoutanensis Usinger & Matsuda 1959 is redescribed. A key to the Chinese species of Barcinus is given, and diagnostic morphological features of new species are illustrated.
