Fletcher and Dai (2018) described two new species of Maiestas Distant from Australia, one of which was named Maiestas viraktamathi. Unfortunately, this name has already been applied to a species by Zahniser et al. (2012).

Two new species of the genus Maiestas Distant are described and illustrated from Australia, M. barrowensis n. sp. and M. viraktamathi n. sp. In addition, Maiestas webbi Zhang & Duan, previously known only from China, is recorded for the first time from Australia. A checklist of species from the Australian region and a key for their separation are provided.

The new genus Austrimonus is created for Eutettix melaleucae Kirkaldy, previously in Hishimonus Ishihara, and the species redescribed as Austrimonus melaleucae (Kirkaldy), comb. nov. Nine new Australian species are added to the genus: A. apicalis sp. nov., A. biapicalis sp. nov., A. bidentatus sp. nov., A. clavatus sp. nov., A. curvatus sp. nov., A. flagellatus sp. nov., A. koebelei sp. nov., A. litorus sp. nov. and A. luteus sp. nov. A key for the determination of males of the species is provided.

A new tribe of the leafhopper subfamily Deltocephalinae, Punctulini tribe nov., from China, India, Thailand, and Fiji is described and includes three new genera and five new species: Punctulus gen. nov. includes P. tumidifrons sp. nov. from China, P. manipurensis from India, and P. lobatus sp. nov. from Thailand; Hirsutula gen. nov. includes H. rubrifrons sp. nov. from Thailand; and Taveunius gen. nov. includes T. megapunctatus sp. nov., from Fiji. A key to the genera of Punctulini is provided. Observations on the shared morphological characters of Punctulini with the superficially similar tribe Magnentiini, and with Vartini to which it is found to be related based on phylogenetic analyses of morphological and molecular data including newly available sequences and analyses, are made and discussed. Afrovarta Zahniser 2013 is removed from Vartini and placed in Athysanini, placement nov.

Four species of the genus Pediopsoides Matsumura are recorded from Mainland China. Among them, Pediopsoides dilatus sp. nov. and Pediopsoides heterodigitatus sp. nov. are described as new, and Pediopsoides kurentsovi (Anufriev) is redescribed. One new combination, Pediopsoides aomians (Kuoh, 1981) comb. nov. (from Oncopsis) is proposed and two new synonyms are revealed, the genus Digitalis Liu and Zhang, 2002 (type species: Digitalis striolatus Liu and Zhang) is synonymised with Pediopsoides, Digitalis striolatus Liu and Zhang is a new junior synonym of Pediopsoides aomians (Kuoh). Images of adults and genitalia of the four species are provided, along with a checklist of the known species of the genus.

Bicoloratum Dai and Li, 2011 is considered to be a junior synonym of Scaphoideus Uhler, 1889 based on study of specimens of two new species, one of which is morphologically very similar to the type species of Bicoloratum, B. pintungisis Dai and Li 2011. Three valid species now included within the genus Scaphoideus are: S. dinghuensis sp. nov., S. taishanensis sp. nov. and S. pingtungisis (Dai and Li, 2011) n. comb. The detailed morphology of the two new species is described, and photographs of their external habitus and male and female genitalia are also given.

The new iassine leafhopper genus Linnavuoria is described and illustrated based on L. tingomariaensis sp. nov., from Peru, and placed in the previously monobasic tribe Selenomorphini (based on Selenomorphus Evans from New Caledonia), along with two other New World genera, Pachyopsis Uhler and Scaroidana Osborn (new placements). The new genus is similar to Pachyopsis in overall structure, but differs as follows: head with crown flat and forming distinct angle with face in profile; face coarsely punctate, without distinct transverse striations or rugae; lateral frontal sutures extended from antennal ledge to midline and joining with distinct coronal suture; forewing with numerous dark pigment spots corresponding to setal sockets; hind femur with macrosetal formula 2+1+1+1. A revised diagnosis and key to genera are given for Selenomorphini. The previously monotypic leafhopper genus Daveyoungana BlockerWebb (Iassinae: Hyalojassini) recorded from Brazil is also reviewed and the detailed morphology of the genus is redescribed and illustrated, including the first description of the female. A new species, D. maniforma sp. nov. from Ecuador is described and illustrated and a key to the species in this genus is given.

The morphologically diverse leafhopper tribe Hyalojassini is reinstated from synonymy under Iassini based on distinctive features of the male genitalia and a key to the Oriental genera is given. The previously monotypic genera Hyalojassus Evans and Coriojassus Evans are revised and redescribed based on study of the type species. The following new genera and species are described from Thailand and China and placed in Hyalojassini: Kanchanaburiassus maculatus gen. nov.sp. nov. from Kanchanaburi, Thailand; Lamelliassus chaingmaiensis gen.sp. nov. from Chaingmai, Thailand; Siamiassus constanti gen.sp. nov. from Loei, Thailand ; Decliviassus gen nov. with D. bipunctatus sp. nov., D. maculatus sp. nov., and D. nudus sp. nov., from Thailand; Trocniassus gen. nov. with T. shaanxiensis and T. henanensis sp. nov.; Hyalojassus elongatus sp. nov. and H. punctulatus sp. nov. from Thailand and H. yunnanensis sp. nov. from China; Coriojassus loeiensis sp. nov. from Thailand, C. yunnanensis sp. nov. and C. zhejiangensis sp. nov. from Yunnan and Zhejiang, China, respectively, the latter representing the first records of the genus from China. Sinojassus Dai et al. 2010 (nec Zhang 1985) is a junior homonym, thus a new replacement name, Siniassus nom. nov., is proposed, the genus is transferred to Hyalojassini, and the following new combinations are made: Siniassus loberus (Dai, ZhangZhang, 2010), Siniassus aspinus (Dai, ZhangZhang, 2010), Siniassus compressus (Dai, ZhangZhang, 2010) and Siniassus webbi (DaiDietrich, 2010). Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations for all new taxa are provided. The following New World genera share the diagnostic morphological features of Hyalojassini and are newly placed in this tribe: Absheta Blocker, Aztrania Blocker, Baldriga Blocker, Bertawolia Blocker, Betawala Blocker, Comanopa Blocker, Daveyoungana BlockerWebb, Derakandra Blocker, Donleva Blocker, Gargaropsis Fowler, Garlica Blocker, Gehundra Blocker, Goblinaja Kramer, Grunchia Kramer, Jivena Blocker, Julipopa Blocker, Maranata Blocker, Mogenola Blocker, Momoria Blocker, Neotrocnada KrishnankuttyDietrich, Penestragania BeamerLawson, Redaprata Blocker, Stragania Stål, Torenadoga Blocker, and Webaskola Blocker.

The thirteen known leafhopper species of the Scaphoideus albovittatus species group, characterized by the presence of a dorsal white longitudinal stripe, are recognized. Eight species, including three new species, are reported in this group from China: S. albovittatus Matsumura (China: Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Shaanxi, Shandong, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan; Japan, Korea, Russia), S. coniceus Li (China: Hainan, Yunnan), S. intermedius Matsumura (China: Taiwan), S. kumamotonis Matsumura (China: Anhui, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang; Japan), S. maai KitbamroongFreytag (China: Yunnan, Hainan; Thailand), S. rostratus sp. nov. (China: Yunnan), S. sagittatus sp. nov. (China: Yunnan) and S. yuani sp. nov. (China: Guangxi). The detailed morphology of the new species is described; photographs of external habitus and male and female genitalia of the species from China are given. A checklist and a key to the species in this group are also provided, as well as a checklist with distribution summaries for all valid species in the genus from China.

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is one of the China's richest regions in terms of biodiversity. Previously, only five species of the genus Scaphoideus Uhler have been reported from Guangxi. Here fifteen species of Scaphoideus from Guangxi, including one new species, are recognized: S. exsertus Li, S. albovittatus Matsumura, S. apicalis Li, S. bilineus Li, S. yuani Chen, Dai and Zhang, S. dentaedeagus Li and Wang, S. festivus Matsumura, S. kumamotonis Matsumura, S. maculatus Li, S. nigrigenatus Li, S. nigrisignus Li, S. palingus Li and Dai, S. yingjiangensis Wang and Li, S. zhoui Li and Xing and S. proxaprocessus sp. nov. Two new synonyms are revealed, Scaphoideus pristiophorus Kamitani and Hayashi, 2013 syn. nov., a junior synonym of Scaphoideus apicalis Li, 1999, and Scaphoideus spiculatus Viraktamath and Mohan, June 2004 syn. nov., a junior synonym of Scaphoideus yingjiangensis Wang and Li, March 2004. The new species is described, and photographs of external habitus and male genitalia of all the species treated are also given along with a key to the species of the region.

Two new Nirvanini genera, Decursusnirvana gen. nov. (type species: Decursusnirvana fasciiformis sp. nov.) and Sinonirvana gen. nov. (type species: Sinonirvana hirsuta sp. nov.), including two new species, D. fasciiformis sp. nov. and S. hirsuta, sp. nov. from China are described. One new combination, Decursusnirvana excelsa (Melichar) n. comb., is also proposed. Decursusnirvana most closely resembles Oniella Matsumura, but it may be distinguished from the latter by the aedeagus lacking an atrium and with the shaft with its basal half straight and apical half strongly curved ventrally, with a pair of processes. Sinonirvana gen. nov is similar to Decursusnirvana gen. nov., differs from the latter as follows: head more elongate with anteclypeus much broader and not extended beyond margin of gena. Also, the pygofer lobe is solid (not divided in two places like the latter) and the subgenital plate has numerous long, fine setae. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of all three species are given and a key to all male species in two genera is also provided.

Seven species of Hishimonus Ishihara are recorded in Thailand, four of which were previously recorded from neighbouring countries and three new species described herein: Hishimonus pallidus sp. nov., H. diffractus sp. nov. and H. gillespiei sp. nov. The other four species are H. concavus Knight, previously known from the Philippines, H. subtilis Knight recorded from Singapore, H. aberrans Knight recorded from Taiwan and H. phycitis (Distant), which is widespread in Asia from the Middle East to China. These species are all newly recorded from Thailand and represent the first records of the genus Hishimonus in that country.

The leafhopper tribe Agalliini from China is reviewed. The Chinese fauna includes 44 species of 15 genera including four new genera: Purvigallia gen. nov. (type species: Purvigallia maculata sp. nov., from Yunnan), Skandagallia gen. nov. (type species: Skandagallia dietrichi sp. nov., from Yunnan), Sinoagallia gen. nov. (type species: Sinoagallia serrata sp. nov., from Yunnan) and Sungallia gen. nov. (type species: Sungallia truncata sp. nov., from Yunnan). Japanagallia is the most species rich and includes 17 species from China, of which five are new: Japanagallia curvipenis sp. nov. (China: Xizang), Japanagallia decliva sp. nov. (China: Shaanxi), Japanagallia multispina sp. nov. (China: Guangxi, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Yunnan), Japanagallia palmata sp. nov. (China: Yunnan) and Japanagallia sclerotica sp. nov. (China: Shaanxi). The genus Igerna Kirkaldy (with Igerna channa sp. nov from Guangxi and Tibet) and the European species, Anaceratagallia ribauti (Ossianinilsson) have been recorded for the first time from China. All the new taxa are described and illustrated. A check-list with taxonomic notes as well as a generic key to Chinese Agalliini are also provided.

The Australian leafhopper genus Trocnada Walker is reviewed and includes three previously described species: T. alpinaEvans, T. dorsigera Walker and T. minuta Evans. Redescriptions of the genus and species are provided and include the firstdescriptions and illustrations of the genitalia. Taxonomic notes on all species of the genus and comparisons with related generaare given. A key to all species is provided and geographical distribution data are provided. Morphological evidence is given to support original definition of Trocnadini including only the type genus and a key to tribes of Iassinae is also provided.

The Oriental leafhopper genus Parallygus Melichar is revised and redescribed based on study of its type species, P. divar- icatus Melichar, from Sri Lanka. Based on its paired aedeagal shafts, a feature of some other tribes, it is only tentativelyretained in Athysanini. Three new species, Parallygus burmindicus Viraktamath & Webb, sp. nov. (India: West Bengal,Meghalya; Myanmar: Mishmi Hills), P. jiuhuaensis Dai & Zhang, sp. nov. (China: Anhui) and P. rameshi Viraktamath &Webb, sp. nov. (India: West Bengal) are described and illustrated together with P. divaricatus Melichar and Parallygus guttatus Matsumura comb. reinstated described from Taiwan. The latter species is reinstated into its original genus Pa- rallygus from Phlepsius and is also recorded from mainland China and India (new records). A key to species is also provided.

A new deltocephaline leafhopper genus Hamulotettix is described and illustrated based on a large, distinctly patterned species, Hamulotettix ungulatus sp. nov., from China and Thailand, and is tentatively placed in the tribe Athysanini. Detailed morphological description and illustrations are provided. The genus is similar to Abrus Dai & Zhang in external body form, and also bears a superficial resemblance to Oxycephalotettix Zahniser, in having segment X of the male abdomen with a falcate ventral process.

The species of the Old World leafhopper genus Mimotettix Matsumura are treated in the present paper. Among them, four species, M. distiflangentus sp. nov., M. robustistylus sp. nov., M. dorsocavatus sp. nov., and M. tibetensis sp. nov. are described as new from China, M. brevicornis sp. nov. and M. dietrichi sp. nov. are described as new from Thailand, and M. rectatus sp. nov. is described as new from Zambia. One new combination, Mimotettix alboguttulatus (Melichar) comb. nov. (from Thamnotettix) is proposed and five new synonyms are revealed, Mimotettix albomaculatus (Distant, 1908), Mimotettix kawamurae Matsumura, 1914, Mimotettix lefroyi (Distant, 1918) and Mimotettix apicalis Li & Wang, 2005 are junior synonyms of Mimotettix alboguttulatus (Melichar, 1903) syn. nov. and Mimotettix albiguttatis Li & Wang, 2005 is a junior synonym of Mimotettix curticeps Kwon & Lee, 1979 syn. nov. A key to the species of the genus based on males is given and their male genital structures are illustrated. The biogeography of the genus is discussed.

Introrsa, a new genus and species of the tribe Opsiini from southern China (Yunnan) is described. Diagnosis of the new genus together with information on the karyotype is given. Introrsa most closely resembles Opsius Fieber, but it is the first genus of the Opsiini with the body longer than 8 mm and can be distinguished from the latter by body not wedgeshaped, head as broad as pronotum and aedeagus with socle not bulbous. The sex determination system is XO/XX and the karyotype of the species is 2n=12(10+XO). The detailed morphology of the new genus is described; external habitus and line drawings of male and female gentalia of the new taxon are given. An annotated check-list and generic key to Old World members of the leafhopper tribe Opsiini are provided.

Deltocephalinae is the largest and most economically important group of leafhoppers, containing over 6500 described species (Zahniser & Dietrich, 2008). Many undescribed species of Deltocephalinae have been discovered in China. The deltocephaline genus Reticulum was established by Dai, Li and Chen (2006) with the type species R. transvittatum Dai, Li & Chen from China. Dai and Zhang (2008) revised the genus and added two new species. Nevertheless the name Reticulum is preoccupied and was initially introduced by Schröder, Medioli & Scott, 1989 for a genus of the foraminifer Family Komokidae (with the type species Reticulum pingue Schröder, Medioli & Scott, 1989 from Nares Abyssal Plain). Thus, the genus Reticulum Dai, Li & Chen, 2006 is a junior homonym of the genus Reticulum Schröder, Medioli and Scott, 1989. According to Article 60 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, I propose for Reticulum Dai, Li & Chen, 2006 the new replacement name Neoreticulum nom. nov. Accordingly, new combinations are herein proposed for the cicadellid species currently included in this genus: Neoreticulum lanceolatum (Dai & Zhang, 2008), Neoreticulum trispinosum (Dai & Zhang, 2008), and Neoreticulum transvittatum (Dai, Li & Chen, 2006)

Eight species of the genus Krisna Kirkaldy from China including three new species are recognized: Krisna concava Li & Wang, K. furcata sp. nov., K. nigromarginata Cai & He, K. rufimarginata Cai & He, K. strigicollis (Spinola), K. viridula Li & Wang, K. daiyunensis sp. nov., K. viraktamathi sp. nov. Two new synonyms are revealed, Krisna bimaculata Cai & He, 1998 syn. nov., a junior synonym of Krisna concava Li & Wang, 1991 and Krisna burmanica Viraktamath, 2006 syn. nov., a junior synonym of Krisna rufimarginata Cai & He, 1998. A key is proposed to ten Chinese species. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of eight species are given and a checklist of all known species of the genus is also provided.

1 Corresponding author Abstract The leafhopper genus Reticulum from China is reviewed and refined. Two new species, R. trispinosum sp. nov. and R. lanceolatum sp. nov., are described. A detailed morphological description and illustrations of the new species are pro- vided. A key to species of Reticulum is also provided.

The genus Platyretus is redescribed and a key to the five included species is given. The new species described are Platyeretus brevipenis Wu & Zhang sp. nov. (from China), P. gangeticus Viraktamath & Webb sp. nov. (from north India and China), P. javanicus Viraktamath & Webb sp. nov. (from Java) and P. sudindicus Viraktamath & Webb sp. nov. (from south India). The type species P. marginatus Melichar and the new species are described and illustrated along with a key to recognize them. Platyretus pseudocinctus Heller & Linnavuori and Platyretus himalayanus Distant are not treated as they are considered as not belonging in this genus. The former probably belongs to an undescribed deltocephaline genus and the latter is a member of Evacanthinae.

All nine species of the genus Abrus Dai and Zhang from China are reviewed, and one new species, A. breviolus sp. nov. is described. A key is given to separate all species and a detailed morphological description and illustrations are provided.

The following new leafhopper taxa of the deltocephaline tribe Scaphytopiini are described: Grammacephalus furcatus Dai & Zhang sp. nov. from China, and Sikhamani Viraktamath & Webb gen. nov. with type species S. delicatula Viraktamath & Webb sp. nov. from Nepal and China. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of the new species are given and a checklist to the species of Grammacephalus Haupt is provided. The type specimens are deposited in the Entomological Museum of Northwest A&F University, The Natural History Museum, London, the B.P. Bishop Museum, Hawaii, U.S.A. and the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India.

In the present paper, a new species, Chudania guangxiana sp. nov., is described from China. A detailed morphological description and illustrations of the new species are provided. The type specimen is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
