The research deals with the relationship between literature and society and takes the Arabic novel as its focus. These novels can express human issues, live its problems, details, places and times, and reveals itself and its biography, and it may reveal any historical event, situation, suffering, intellectual or existential issue. In the novel, a person learns about peoples’ cultures, customs, history, heritage and issues, as well as human aspects, creative imagination, life patterns and man’s journey in it and how to solve his problems, and in which we live human experiences and his personality that helps to understand others and communicate with them. This research raises detailed questions on the ability of the novel to express and reveal the hidden secrets in society, and its relationship to society and its role in the movement of enlightenment and how they tackle issues of human rights and the marginalized and life experiences and imbalance if there is a defect in society. The research deals with selected novels by Arab novelists from different Arab countries. Their novels varied between reviving the present with vivid models from the past, and diagnosing reality with its challenges and problems, such as; Intolerance, terrorism, extremism, terror, anxiety, wandering, death, leaving, the unspoken, women’s rights, social glamor, superstition, wars, belonging to the homeland and awareness of it, and other issues.
