Daniudi gas field is one of the five biggest gas fields of SINOPEC. Major problems on horizontal well drilling were analyzed, and technical measures were put forward in aspects of drilling engineering geological environment description, horizontal wells engineering optimal design, coal seam collapsing prevention technology and Measurement While Drilling technology. Popularizing horizontal well drilling matching technology in Daniudi area, which contains high quality drilling fluids technology, expandable tube sealing technology and electromagnetic wave MWD technology could effectively increase drilling rate, and accelerate the process of exploration and development process of Daniudi gas field. Well Fuye HF-1 is the first horizontal well in shale gas deployed by Sinopec in the Sichuan Basin, for the purpose of favorable shale gas exploration of strata series of the Lower Jurassic artesian well group Da' an village section shale layers. The well was drilled to TD 3 570 m with vertical depth 2 272.06 m and geothermal gradient of 2.50 per 100 meters. The length of horizontal section is 1136.75 m drilled from TD2 433.25 to 3 570 m, with shale thickness of 27.23 m. Lithological characters of this well are mainly gray and black shale, calcareous shale, mingles with thin layer of gray shell limestone and limestone. The well is completed by Ø139.7 mm casing, and stimulated by using the large scale staged fracturing technique with pump-down drillable bridge plugs in 10 stages, and pumped 795.24 t of proppant with a total fluid volume of 16 098.7 m3. The well operations are completed by a number of professional teams, and are also a useful exploration in the shale reservoirs stimulations in China. Sheng 601-H402CH is the first sidetracking multilateral horizontal well in buried hill formation of Liaohe Oilfield. The main purpose of the well is to use the multilateral well technology to development of the upper reservoir under non ideal conditions of lower reservoir, in order to reduce drilling cost, and make reservoir efficient, economic development. The design and construction of Sheng 601-H402CH have been optimized according to the reservoir characteristic and oil recovery demand. Using transfixion technique and connecting pre-cutting window casing and hollow whipstock, and formed good communicated channel for oil. Using sidetracking technique and fishbone drilling technique from forward to downward, the difficult problem of hard formation unable to drill fishbone horizontal well was been solved and carry out the drilling operation at last. The successful design and drilling of this well prove that application of sidetracking horizontal well technology in the deep hard buried hill formation is feasible.and lay the foundation for further promotion and application of sidetracking horizontal well technology in buried hill formation of Liaohe Oilfield.
