- Abstract
The library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics has incorporated the theory and practice of reading therapy into the curriculums and set up the "reading and mental health" course to popularize reading therapy and improve the effectiveness of reading therapy. The course introduces the theories and methods of reading therapy through classroom teaching, guides students’ reading behavior and solves students’ psychological confusion through interactive reading and discussion. Taking this course as a case, this paper studies the construction objectives, contents, teaching modes and course evaluation methods of the reading therapy course for science and engineering college students, and preliminarily constructs a teaching mode based on the theory and methods of reading therapy, supported by the reading bibliography of six special topics, based on reading interaction, discussion and scientific evaluation.
