ObjectiveTo analyze the epidemiological distribution and temporal trends of liver cancer incidence among Luzhou residents from 2016‒2022， and to provide a theoretical basis for improving liver cancer prevention and treatment strategies in Luzhou.MethodsData on liver cancer incidence among Luzhou residents from 2016 to 2022 were collected， and the incidence rate， age-specific incidence rate， and annual percentage change （APC） were calculated. A Joinpoint regression model was used to fit a time series segment to the monthly number of new cases in each district and county of Luzhou to explore the trend of liver cancer incidence rate.ResultsThe incidence rate of liver cancer in Luzhou increased from 22.96/105 in 2016 to 32.31/105 in 2022. The incidence rate of liver cancer in men was higher than that in women in both 2016 and 2022， and the incidence rate of liver cancer in men increased from 34.83/105 in 2016 to 47.95/105 in 2022， with an APC of 3.3%； the incidence rate of liver cancer in women increased from 10.50/105 in 2016 to 15.95/105 in 2022， with an APC of 3.0%， and the differences in the change trends were not statistically significant （P>0.05）.The incidence of liver cancer was low in the age group of 0‒

This paper proposes the use of aperture sharing synergistic operation in the structure of the metalens, together with the rational selection of the scattering unit size according to the linear relationship between the output phase and frequency of the scattering unit, and the selection of the slope of the phase variation with frequency, combined with the modulation of the phase change material Ge2Sb2Te5 crystallization rate m value, in the set wavelength band, for different wavelengths of incident light through the metasurface can produce a uniform phase distribution. The method is used to achieve a polarization-insensitive achromatic metalens in the 9.5-13 μm continuous wavelength band by adjusting the m value of the phase transition material Ge2Sb2Te5 crystallization rate and producing a phase distribution with a uniform focal length for different wavelengths of incident light passing through the metasurface. The simulation results show that the focal length of the achromatic metasurface varies by 3.57 μm in the working band, with an error of about 4.3% from the set focal length, and the full width of the half-peak of the focal point at all wavelengths of incidence reaches the diffraction limit, and the focusing efficiency exceeds 60%. The achromatic metalens proposed in this paper provides a new idea for the design of achromatic metasurfaces and promotes the research of phase change materials in broadband achromatic metasurfaces.

Objective To investigate the role of silent information regulator 3 (Sirt3) in glioma U87 cells, and provide new targets for early diagnosis and treatment of glioma. Methods Based on the China Brain Glioma Database (CGGA) and GEPIA2 database, the expression of Sirt3 in different grades of glioma was analyzed by bioinformatics, and the protein level of Sirt3 in the adjacent and tumor samples of 6 glioma patients was further detected by Western blotting. Then, shRNA lentivirus and CRISPR/Cas9 system were used to interfere with the expression of Sirt3 in U87 cells, and TUNEL staining, PI-Annexin V double fluorescent labeling and Western blotting were used to detect the expression of apoptosis-related proteins(Bax, Cleaved-caspase3) and lysosome membrane proteins (LAMP1, LAMP2, LAMP2A), TFEB, mTOR, and other proteins. Then mTOR small molecule inhibitor, rapamycin was employed to treat Sirt3 knockdown cells, the changes in related proteins and cell apoptosis were detected. In addition, nuclear and cytoplasmic separation experiments were carried out on U87 cells before and after Sirt3 knockout, and protein change of p-TFEB was detected. Finally, the change of lysosome membrane protein after overexpression of TFEB and Sirt3 was detected in U87 cells with knocking down and out of Sirt3. Results Sirt3 was significantly highly expressed in glioma tissue, and the level was closely associated with poor survival of the glioma patients. Sirt3 knockdown significantly enhanced cell apoptosis (P < 0.01), down-regulated the expression of LAMP1, LAMP2 and LAMP2A (P < 0.01), and improved the expression of p-mTOR (P < 0.01). Additionally, Sirt3 knockout also up-regulated p-TFEB protein level in the cytoplasm fraction (P < 0.01) while, in the Sirt3 knockout U87 cells, its overexpression reserved the protein levels of LAMP1 and LAMP2 and increased the amount of lysosome. In the Sirt3 knockdown cells, overexpression of TFEB resulted in up-regulation of LAMPs proteins(P < 0.01). Conclusion Sirt3 may affect the nuclear-cytoplasmic distribution of TFEB by regulating the mTOR signaling pathway, up-regulate the expression of LAMPs, enhance the function of lysosome, and then promote the survival and malignant proliferation of glioma cells. Our study suggests that Sirt3 may be a molecular marker for clinical diagnosis and progression of glioma.

Fabry disease is an X-linked inherited lysosomal storage disease caused by the mutation of GLA gene that encodes α-galactosidase A (α-Gal A). GLA gene mutation causes the decline or deficiency in the activity of α-Gal A, leading to the accumulation of its substrates in the lysosomes of multiple organs and tissue that causes systemic damage and threatens the life of patients. Enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) is the standard of care for Fabry disease. ERT slows or prevents the progression of organ damage, effectively improving heart, brain, kidney functions and significantly improves quality of life. At present, there are two main ERT drugs, agalsidase alpha and agalsidase beta, which have the same amino acid sequence and different N-terminal sugars, and are used for the treatment of Fabry disease. In this paper, the efficacy and safety of ERT in the treatment of Fabry disease were summarized by reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad and combining the results of some cases treated in Department of Nephrology, Provincial Hospital affiliated to Shandong First Medical University. Previous literature has shown that enzyme replacement therapy is the most important specific treatment for Fabry disease, which has a protective effect on important organs such as kidney, heart, and nervous system.

ObjectiveTo determine the pathogen and phylogenetic characteristics of an uncommon outbreak of recombinant norovirus infection in Daishan County in February 2022.MethodsFluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the norovirus in the eight anal swabs collected in the outbreak. In the positive samples， reverse transcription PCR were used to amplify the norovirus. Norovirus sequences were characterized by MEGA7 and Simplot.ResultsNorovirus GⅠ was identified in all eight anal samples. It was further determined to be recombinant norovirus GⅠ.6 ［P11］， with the recombination site at the ORF1-ORF2 junction. The sequence had the highest nucleotide identity （98.75%） to a GⅠ.6［P11］ strain collected in 2018 （GenBank accession number MT357995）.ConclusionAccording to the etiological identification and phylogenetic analysis， this outbreak is confirmed to be caused by the uncommon recombinant norovirus GⅠ.6 ［P11］ in China.

BackgroundNECP-SARAX is a neutronics analysis code system for advanced reactors developed by the Nuclear Engineering Computational Physics Laboratory team of Xi'an Jiaotong University. In the past few years, a considerable amount of verification and validation work has been done based on CEFR, PHENIX, SUPERPHENIX, JOYO MK-I, ZPR, and ZPPR reactors. The results indicate that NECP-SARAX offers high performance for fast spectrum reactor analysis. Meanwhile, the fuel and control rod assemblies of these reactors are used for verification of the cross-section generation code TULIP. While TULIP has demonstrated promising preliminary results in fast spectrum system analysis, a comprehensive systematic verification and validation process remains essential.PurposeThis study aims to validate the applicability of TULIP code for various fast spectrum systems.MethodFirstly, a total of 147 critical experiment benchmarks were selected from ICSBEP and used for analysis. The initial results demonstrated that the keff bias between TULIP and Monte Carlo codes exceeded 10-2 for an experimental benchmark with a thick reflector. Then, a homogeneous two-nuclide problem simplified from the HMF021-002 benchmark was subsequently used to analyze this phenomenon, and the intermediate-weight nuclides had resonance-like fluctuating scattering cross sections above the resonance energy. Finally, to address this phenomenon, the TULIP code was undergone enhancements, mainly focusing on optimizing the resonance calculation strategy and method using ultra fine group to deal with thee self-shielding effect of resonance-like cross sections in the non resonant region under high loading of intermediate-weight nuclides.ResultsIn a fast spectrum system with a large amount of structural material, the self-shielding effect of the resonance-like cross section of the intermediate-weight nuclides above the resonance range becomes non-negligible. The optimized TULIP method reduces the keff bias to within 3×10-3 for these benchmarks with a thick reflector.ConclusionsNew numerical results indicate that the enhanced TULIP code has good performance for various fast spectrum system analyses.

Objective In this study, short⁃term prognosis of cerebral revascularization was evaluated by comparative analysis of patients with moyamoya disease (MMD) with different disease types and different bypass. Methods A total of 44 patients with MMD treated in Beijing Tiantan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2010 to October 2011 were enrolled. All patients underwent cerebral revascularization. The improvement of neurological function was evaluated by National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) 3 months after surgery, and the improvement of clinical symptoms was observed. DSA or CTA were reviewed to determine whether the bridge vessels were unobstructed and surgical complications were recorded. Results DSA or CTA reexamination showed that the anastomosis was unobstructed, and no surgical complications occurred. Patients with MMD were divided into 3 groups according to the onset type: ischemic, hemorrhagic and mixed. Compared with hemorrhagic type and mixed type, neurological function improved 3 months after surgery in patients with ischemic type (χ2=3.853, P=0.001; χ2=4.110, P=0.001) and improvement of clinical symptoms (χ2=3.934, P=0.000; χ2=4.138, P=0.000) were better. According to the operation type, the patients were divided into 4 groups: anterior⁃frontal, anterior⁃temporal, posterior⁃frontal and posterior⁃temporal bypass. The improvement of neurological function in anterior⁃frontal bypass group was higher than that in anterior⁃temporal bypass group (χ2=2.079, P=0.038). The improvement of neurological function and clinincal symptooms in posterior⁃frontal bypass group were higher than those in anterior⁃temporal bypass group (χ2=2.909; P=0.004; χ2=2.812, P=0.005), and those in posterior⁃frontal bypass group were also higher than those in posterior⁃temporal bypass group (χ2=2.295, P=0.022; χ2=2.580, P=0.010). Conclusions Compared with the other 2 groups, symptoms of ischemic MMD may improved better than before, and the intraoperative selection of posterior⁃frontal and anterior⁃frontal bypass may be better than anterior⁃temporal and posterior⁃temporal bypass.

The integrity and durability of metal coatings have a great influence on the medium corrosion resistance of steel structures. When the anti-corrosive coating was partially damaged or microcracked, the micro-nano capsule filler could produce a stress response to the changes in the micro-environment under the coating, release corrosion-inhibiting substances or polymer monomers, and realize the self-healing of the coating, filling the voids, and thereby significantly improving the medium corrosion resistance of coating. In this work, the principle of micro-nano self-healing coating was introduced firstly. Taking several new micro-nano fillers such as mesoporous SiO2, layered double hydroxide, halloysite nanotubes and metal organic framework compounds as representatives, their application, advantages and disadvantages in self-healing high corrosion resistant coatings were summarized and forecasted briefly, which could provide several ideas for the development of high corrosion resistant and long-lasting coatings.

Bending fatigue failure is one of the main failure modes for gears in transmission system, shot peening is an important gear strengthen technology. In order to study the influence of shot peening on gear bending fatigue characteristics, 20 MnCr5 carburized involute cylindrical spur gear was adopted as study object. The effect of shot peening on gear surface integrity were analyzed before and after shot peening, coinciding with our products. Bending fatigue test was carried out with the single tooth loading method, afterwards, based on the observation of the failure fracture surfaces by scanning electron microscope（SEM）, the differences of failure characteristics in the crack source areas before and after shot peening were analyzed. It is found that shot peening can greatly improve gear surface integrity, although it has a negative effect on the gear surface corrugation. Shot peening can effectively increase gear bending strength and restrain the crack initiation from the gear surface.

Biomedical magnesium alloys exhibit high specific strength, low density, proper elastic modulus, biodegradability, good biocompatibility and biomechanical compatibility, thus show extensive application perspective in bone fixation and cardiovascular stent.However, fast and nonuniform corrosion of magnesium alloys may easily cause the premature loss of mechanical integrity that restricts their clinical application in load bearing. In this paper, the research progress of magnesium alloys was systematically reviewed from the aspects of corrosion modes, the intrinsic and external factors affecting corrosion resistance, improvement of intrinsic corrosion resistance and surface modification, and the future development trend of corrosion resistance of biomedical magnesium alloys was prospected. On the one hand, the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys can be improved by means such as low alloying, high purification and fine crystallization. On the other hand, reliable coatings are designed from the aspects of corrosion resistance, antibacterial and drug loading. In addition, corrosion media, flow field, stress and other in-body service factors should be considered comprehensively to study the corrosion degradation behavior and mechanism of magnesium alloy implanted devices.

ObjectiveTo establish a new method for observable, easy and accurate non-invasive intratracheal instillation in rats.MethodsDisposable medical syringes and capillaries were used to make the sampler. Optical fiber was used to achieve visualization. Soap water was used to check if the intubation is correct. Sampler was introduced into rat trachea through endotracheal tube. Twenty rats were randomly divided into two groups and instilled with 0.9% saline solution or fine particulate matter (PM2.5) suspension, respectively.ResultsThe operation were performed successfully for 120 times in the 20 rats. HE staining was observed after 24 h of the last instillation. The pathological morphological changes of the lungs were induced by intratracheal instillation of PM2.5, which were similar to those of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).ConclusionThe improved method of non-invasive intratracheal instillation is simple, rapid, and safe, and requires no special equipment, which can be widely used in experiments for respiratory tract administration.

In order to master the fire-extinguishing efficiency of different concentrations of CO2 on the oxidized coal re-combustion, a self-developed coal spontaneous oxidation program temperature increasing experimental device was adopted to study the inhibitory effect of CO2 on coal oxidation and heating process, and the samples of Pingdingshan No.8 Coal Mine were fed with CO2 concentrations of 10 %, 20 %, 30 % and 40 % respectively.The oxygen consumption rate, the production rate of CO and the change law of apparent activation energy of coal were measured, and the result shows that different volume fractions of CO2 have inhibitory effects on the heating process of coal oxidation.The results show that different volume fractions of CO2 have an inhibitory effect compared with the oxidation under pure air conditions.At the same time, the larger the volume fraction of CO2 introduced, the lower the oxygen consumption and CO generation rate both the primary and secondary coal oxidation process, while the higher the apparent activation energy.That is to say, the larger the volume of CO2, the better the inhibition efficiency of the re-combustion process of oxidized coal.

The Zr-1Nb alloy was treated by laser melting and vacuum annealing in order to improve the high temperature corrosion resistance. The morphology of the melting layer was observed by scanning electron microscopy,phase compositions and quantities were determined by X-ray diffraction and Raman; surface roughness was determined by profile meter; and hardness was measured by the micro-hardness tester. In order to characterize the corrosion resistance,autoclave experiments were conducted for 70 days in an aqueous steam condition of 360℃ under 18.6MPa in 0.01mol/L LiOH solutions. The results show that the surface roughness of Zr-1Nb cladding tubes is improved by laser melting; the laser melted layer is mainly composed of α-Zr phase and a small amount of m-ZrO2,and the phase composition of laser melted layer does not change after heat-treatment; under high power condition,laser melting can reduce the high temperature corrosion resistance of Zr-1Nb alloy. However,the high temperature corrosion resistance of Zr-1Nb alloy can be improved significantly under the condition of low power laser melting and auxiliary heat treatment process. By laser melting treatment,microhardness of zirconium alloy can be increased by 50-80HV0.1. And after heat treatment,microhardness of zirconium alloy is decreased compared with the laser melted sample,but it is still higher than the origin sample.

The effect of pressure of squeeze casting on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-6Zn-1Al-0.5Mn-0.5Ca alloy has been systematically studied using XRD. SEX. TEM and tensile test. The results show that the microstructure of the as-cast alloy consists of α-Mg matrix with τ(Mg32(Al, Zn)49) and some Al8Mn5 second phase particles. The imposed pressure dose not change the composition of alloy phase precipitation. With the increase of squeeze casting pressure, the second phase particles of the as-cast ZAMX6100 alloy becomes more and fine, and more uniformly distributed. Simultaneously, ZAMX6100 alloy solidified under pressure improves the uniform distribution of micro-elements Mn, Ca, which decreases the extent of interdendritic segregation. When pressure is increased from 0 MPa to 100 MPa, the tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness of ZAMX6100 alloy are all improved by 27%, 14%, 31% and 9% respectively. The fine ZAMX6100 alloy microstructure is mainly caused by the atom spread activation energy decreasement under pressure during the solidification, which decreases the crystal growth velocity, and at the same time the high pressure squeeze casting causes an entire contact of magnesium alloy with the mold inside, which causes the increase of cooling rate and refinement of microstructure.

K4536 alloy formed by SLM was treated by HIP, and the effects of HIP on the microstructure and high-temperature mechanical properties were studied. The results show that the surface of sample manufactured by SLM has cracks, and the longitudinal and horizontal microstructures are different. After HIP processing, the cracks in the sample is repaired to some extent, the microstructure of the sample also is changed, and many second phase particles are dissolved out from the matrix. We know that the precipitation is M23C6 phase by TEM diffraction analysis. Furthermore, the surface of sample has “white bright layer” with the thickness of about 30 μm, the “white bright layer” is resulted by the decrease of Cr by EDS energy spectrum analysis. The K4536 alloy sample formed by SLM has different high-temperature tensile properties in the vertical and horizontal, and the vertical performance is better than that of horizontal. After HIP processing, the vertical and horizontal performances have little difference, and the high-temperature strength of the sample is reduced, the high-temperature plasticity is increased.

For low accuracy of face tracking applying active shape model(ASM) in condition of sudden change of illumination and contaminated and covered miner face in underground coal mine, an improved ASM was proposed. Firstly, mirror sample set is formed by definition of mirror image with selected special training sample set. Then, the mirror sample set is processed by logarithmic scale. Finally, related block model is used as ASM learning model for training. The experimental results show that the method can effectively improve accuracy of underground face tracking.

Angiogenesis plays crucial roles in the progress of tumor growth, progression and metastases. The new tumor blood vessel tracer RRL can be targeted to the VEGFR-2 receptor on tumor vascular endothelial cells, Tracing with radioisotopes different types of tumor and angiogenesis in malignant tumor tissues with different invasive ability will provide the important information on the diagnosis, treatment and evaluated prognosis of malignant tumor. In this review, the recent study and progresses on molecular imaging with the peptide RRL in tumor angiogenesis will be summarized.

Darolutamide is an important drug for the treatment of prostate cancer. When studying its synthesis process, three impurities A, B, and C were discovered and purified in the first step of Suzuki coupling and the second step of hydrolysis deprotection reactions. Impurities A and B came from the first-step reaction, and impurity C came from the second-step reaction. The structures of impurities A and B were further determined through high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and 13C NMR methods. It was discovered that impurities A and B were the deborated pinacol ester product of compound 2 and the double coupling product of compound 1, respectively. The accurate structures of compound 3 and impurity C were determined using HRMS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 1H-1H COSY (correlation spectroscopy), 1H-13C HSQC (heteronuclear singular quantum correlation), 1H-13C HMBC (heteronuclear multiple bond correlation) and 1H-1H NOESY (nuclear overhauser effect spectroscopy). The formation mechanisms and avoidance methods of these impurities were also discussed.

Stable operation of wastewater plants under overload has been a hot spot of concern for researchers，and efficient nitrogen and phosphorus removal is a difficult point in the process of stable operation. A wastewater treatment plant in Zhengzhou uses a pre-anoxic modified A2/O process，treating 1.2-1.8 times the design value，with influent BOD5/COD，BOD5/TN and BOD5/TP ranges of 0.19-0.88，1.38-7.21 and 13.12-89.17 respectively，and uses multi-point distribution of influent，increased internal reflux ratio，precise aeration and other operation methods. The variation of nitrogen and phosphorus in the whole wastewater process was analyzed. The results showed that the removal rates of COD，TN and TP reached 90.4%，83% and 98.55%，which were better than the Class Ⅰ A discharge standard of the Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants（GB 18918—2002）， when the influent water was evenly distributed in the pre-anoxic，anaerobic and anoxic sections，the internal return ratio was 400% and the DO concentration in the aerobic tank was below 0.5 mg/L.Some indicators reached Surface Water Quality Standard（GB 3838—2002） Class Ⅲ standard.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of the ovarian-adnexal reporting and data system (O-RADS) in differentiating between benign and malignant ovarian tumors, and to analyze risk factors for malignant ovarian tumors. Methods The clinical data of 417 patients with ovarian tumors diagnosed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. With pathological results as the gold standard, the patients were divided into malignant group and benign group. The clinical data of the two groups were compared. At the same time, the patients were classified according to ultrasound characteristics and O-RADS. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of O-RADS. Results The univariable and mul-tivariable analyses showed that the risk factors for ovarian malignancy included cyst wall thickness ≥3 cm, solid components, blood flow score of 3-4 points, ascites, and peritoneal nodules (P

China is the birthplace of foxtail millet, four traditional foxtail millet accessions of Qinzhouhuang, Taohuami, Longshanxiaomi, and Jingumi because of its good quality characteristics, has been selected as the royal tribute and is loved by people in Chinese history. To explore the genetic diversity of four Chinese famous foxtail millet and the genetic relationships among the namesakes, SSR and SRAP markers were used to analyze the genetic difference of 179 foxtail millet varieties. Results based on SSR markers showed that the genetic distance ranged from 0.0435 to 0.6304 with an average of 0.3267, the PIC was 0.2406, the allele frequency was 0.7845, and the genetic diversity was 0.2968. Based on UPGMA, 179 materials were clustered into 10 groups, and the clusters had certain correlation with their sources. The materials were divided into three groups based on structure and three groups based on principal component analysis. SRAP marker analysis revealed that the genetic distance ranged from 0.1818 to 0.9545 with an average of 0.6001, and the PIC, the allele frequency, and the genetic diversity were 0.5257, 0.5718, and 0.5688, respectively. Based on UPGMA, 179 materials were clustered into 14 groups. The materials were divided into three groups based on structure and principal component analysis. Traditional belt conveyor abnormal state recognition uses manual inspection or mechanical comprehensive protection system for detection. The manual inspection is labor-intensive, inefficient, and difficult to accurately detect faults. Mechanical comprehensive protection system is prone to misjudgment and poor recognition effect. The above methods can no longer meet the needs of coal industry intelligence. With the development of machine vision, deep learning, and industrial Ethernet technology, video AI technology has become a research hotspot for intelligent recognition of abnormal states of coal mine belt conveyors. This paper analyzes the current research status of using video AI technology to identify abnormal states of coal mine belt conveyors, such as belt deviation, idler failure, personnel invasion, unsafe behavior of personnel, coal stacking, and foreign objects. It is pointed out that there are three main problems in the current video AI recognition technology for abnormal states of coal mine belt conveyors: long construction time-consumption of video image datasets, low precision of abnormal state recognition, and large time delay in video information transmission. To address the issue of long construction time-consumption of video image datasets, a solution is proposed to strengthen the research on video AI recognition algorithms based on semi supervised, unsupervised, and small sample learning, and to expand the dataset based on generative models. To address the issue of low precision of abnormal state recognition, a solution is proposed to strengthen research on data deblurring methods, and to utilize algorithms such as generative adversarial networks to balance positive and negative samples, and improve AI recognition algorithms. To address the issue of large time delay in video information transmission, a solution is proposed to build a 'cloud-edge-end' collaborative video AI recognition system architecture for abnormal states of belt conveyors, and to deploy a high bandwidth and low time delay network communication system. This article looks forward to the development trend of video AI recognition technology for abnormal states of belt conveyors from four aspects: high-performance video AI recognition algorithms, high bandwidth and low time delay video communication technology, 'cloud-edge-end' efficient collaborative video AI recognition system, and sound video AI recognition technology standards.

Interplanetary meteoroids and space debris can impact satellites orbiting the Earth or spacecraft traveling to the Moon. Targeting China Space Station (CSS), 7 satellites selected from the constellation of Beidou Navigation Satellite System Phase III (BDS-3), and 3 spacecraft orbiting the Moon, we have adopted in the paper the Meteoroid Engineering Model 3, Divine-Staubach meteoroid environment model, and Jenniskens-McBride meteoroid steam model to analyze the meteoroid environment with the mass range of 10–6~10 g. Orbital Debris Engineering Model 3.1 space debris model is used to analyze the orbital debris environment faced by these satellites. The flux of space debris with a size larger than 100 μm is compared with that of the meteoroids. The results show that the space debris flux encountered by China Space Station is much higher than that of the meteoroids with sizes in the above range. And quite the opposite, the meteoroids flux impacting the 7 satellites from the BDS-3 is higher. Upon adopting the double-layer Whipple protection measure, the catastrophic collision flux of these satellites encountering meteoroids is about 10–6 times of that without protection, or even less, implying that the Whipple protection effectively guarantees the safety of the satellites in orbit. Besides, it is also found that the flux of the high-density meteoroid population encountered by each satellite is greater than that of the low-density population, whereas the impact velocity is lower for each satellite. These results can aid the orbit selection and the protection design for satellites and spacecraft.

Due to the fluctuation of PV power, it is difficult to keep the active power of the PV grid-connected inverter constant. To address the above problems, this paper proposed a new three-level integrated photovoltaic storage machine consisting of a T-type three-level DC/AC converter, a three-level Boost converter and a three-level bi-directional DC/DC converter and related control strategies. The three-level structure allowed for lower switching losses resulting in higher system efficiency and wider voltage range adaptability. In terms of control, frequency differentiation and deviation control were introduced in the control of the energy storage DC/DC converter to achieve frequency regulation of the transient/static support of the active power of the parallel network. The simulation and experiment show that when the frequency fluctuation range is 50.02~49.97 Hz (meeting the national standard), the new optical storage all-in-one machine proposed in this paper can operate stably and be easily realized.

In order to provide helpful information for maize variety selection and realizing high yield, the grain filling characteristics of 18 summer maize varieties were investigated under 6/10 (S1), 6/20 (S2), and 6/30 (S3). The results showed that: (1) There were significant differences in the final 100-grain dry weight among varieties and sowing date treatments, characterized by S1 (35.20 g) > S2 (33.45 g) > S3 (31.38 g), and the range of variation was 28.50 g (HM 1) to 36.37 g (JNK 728). (2) The average filling rate (Gave) under different sowing date treatments was S1 (0.74 g 100-grain-1 d-1) > S2 (0.65 g 100-grain-1 d-1) > S3 (0.57 g 100-grain-1 d-1). The average grain filling rate of S1 was 0.09 g 100-grain-1 d-1 and 0.17 g 100-grain-1 d-1 higher than that of S2 and S3, increased by 13.85% and 29.82%, respectively. The Gave of JNK 728 (0.75 g 100-grain-1 d-1) was the highest among varieties, which significantly higher than ZD 958 and XY 335 (0.58 g 100-grain-1 d-1 and 0.67 g 100-grain-1 d-1), increased by 29.31% and 11.94%. The active grain filling period (P) showed that S1 (47.85 d) < S2 (51.39 d) < S3 (55.04 d). (3) The yield under different sowing date treatments was S1 (10,628.67 kg hm-2) > S2 (10,207.65 kg hm-2) > S3 (9144.59 kg hm-2), with S1 4.12% and 16.23% higher than S2 and S3, respectively. Among them, NK 815, MC 121, JNK 729, MC 812, JNK 728 and XY 335 had relatively high yields, with an average of 10,730.56 kg hm-2, significantly higher than ZD 958 (10,080.85 kg hm-2), increased by 6.44%. (4) Correlation analysis showed that yield level was significantly and positively correlated with Gave (0.70**) and grain weight (0.68**), and was significantly and negatively correlated with P (-0.36**); Grain weight was significantly correlated with Gave (0.58 ). In conclusion, maize yield, grain weight and grain filling rate reduced with the sowing date delay, but P increased accordingly, early sowing properly was beneficial to achieve higher yield in Huang-Huai-Hai summer maize region, by selecting varieties such as JNK 728, JNK 729, MC 812, MC 121, NK 815, and XY 335 which characterized by suitable growing period, higher grain filling rate, suitable active grain filling period and higher yield level. JNK 728, characterized by medium-early maturity, higher grain filling rate and yield, was suitable for the later sowing conditions or areas with insufficient accumulated temperature, and could reach physiological maturity in mid-October when sowing at the end of June. Objective Preliminary study on the protective effect of intraoperative direct electrical stimulation motor - evoked potential (DES - MEP) on motor function during brainstem tumor surgery. Methods Total 136 patients with brainstem tumor surgery from January 2017 to May 2020 were enrolled, including 68 patients treated with intraoperative routine electrophysiological monitoring combined with neuronavigation and 68 patients with DES - MEP combined with neuronavigation on the basis of routine electrophysiological monitoring. According to the changes of muscle strength (Lovett Muscle Strength Classification) before and after operation, the patients were judged to have new dyskinesia motor function or not. The true positive, false positive, true negative and false negative were judged by DES - MEP monitoring and postoperative motor function prognosis. The sensitivity and specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value, and accuracy of DES - MEP monitoring results in predicting postoperative motor function prognosis were calculated. Results Patients undergoing DES-MEP combined with routine electrophysiological monitoring had 16.18% (11/68) of severe new dyskinesia (Lovett Muscle Strength Classification reduction ≥ 2 grade) 2 weeks after surgery, which was lower than patients undergoing routine electrophysiological monitoring [32.35% (22/68); χ² = 4.841, P = 0.028]. There were 44 true positive cases, 4 false positive cases, 7 true negative cases, and 13 false negative cases detected by DES - MEP. The sensitivity and specificity of DES - MEP were 77.19% (44/57) and 7/11, the positive predictive value and negative predictive value of DES - MEP were 91.67% (44/48) and 35% (7/20), and accuracy of DES - MEP was 75% (51/68), respectively. Conclusions The application of DES - MEP in brainstem tumor surgery can effectively protect the brainstem motor function and make up for the deficiency of intraoperative neural monitoring technology in the protection of brainstem corticospinal tract function. According to the engineering characteristics of pile foundation in soft soil layer, a virtual column structure model was proposed, and a theoretical solution to pile foundation settlement displacement was established. Besides, the load transfer characteristics of pile foundation in soft soil layer, the bearing mode of pile foundation, and its dynamic relationship with the gradual evolution of load and environmental conditions were studied. The results show that there are friction bearing and friction with pile end bearing modes in pile foundation, and they change significantly with pile top load, construction, and environmental factors. Affected by the load transfer law, there is a 0-axis force section in the axial direction of pile foundation. The relationship between the depth and the length of pile foundation affects the type of bearing mode and displacement calculation results. The field results verify the correctness and applicability of the theoretical method.

In recent years, Chinese scholars have made some progress in the field of restless legs syndrome (RLS), including epidemiological investigation of prevalence of RLS in some areas of China, the pathogenesis, comorbidities research, drug therapy and non - drug therapy of RLS, such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, etc. This has laid a solid foundation for understanding and treating the disease in a better way, and also makes some contributions to RLS research for our country. Objective To prepare ultrasound-guided intratumor injection of liquid-solid phase-transition biomagnetic material (NdFeB/Fe3O4/PLGA, NFP) and investigate its feasibility and efficiency of aggregating for targeted aggregation of intravenously injected magnetic liposome nanoparticles (MLPs). Methods The biomagnetic material NFP was prepared and its liquid-solid phase transition ability, morphology and magnetization performances were assessed; the form, particle size and diameter of MLPs were also characterized. The biocompatibility of NFP and MLPs were evaluated by cytotoxic proliferation experiments, and the efficiency of MLP capture by NFP was determined using an in vitro model of extracorporeal circulation. A 4T1 mouse model bearing breast cancer xenograft was established, in which NFP was injected in the tumor under ultrasound guidance and MLPs conjugated with a fluorescent dye was injected intravenously by tail vein. The efficiency of NFP implant for capturing the MLPs for targeted aggregation of the latter in the xenograft was evaluated using in vivo fluorescence imaging. Results The biomagnetic material NFP capable of liquid-solid phase transition was successfully prepared. Scanning electron microscopy and elemental mapping results showed a homogeneous distribution of the elements in NFP after phase transition. The NFP implant could be efficiently magnetized in vitro, and the magnetic forces of NFP was positively correlated with its volume (350.14±23.89, 493.47±19.54, 679.39±34.23, and 812.36±27.99 Gs for 25, 50, 75, and 100 μL of NFP, respectively). The prepared MBLs had a uniform particle size of 373.658±50.000 nm with a zeta potential of -24.8±2.5 mV. Cytotoxicity experiments with tumor cells and normal cells showed no obvious cytotoxicity of either NFP or MLPs. in vivo fluorescence imaging showed that following intravenous MLB injection and intratumor NFP implantation, the fluorescence intensity was significantly enhanced in the xenografts in the tumor-bearing mice. Conclusion The prepared liquid-solid phase-change biomagnetic NFP and the MLPs have good biocompatibility. NFP implantation in the tumor can efficiently capture intravenously injected MLPs to achieve targeted aggregation of MLPs in the tumors.

Objective To investigate the expression level of GCNT3, a glycosyltransferase enzyme, in colorectal cancer (CRC) and its association with the prognosis of the patients. Methods The mRNA expression data of GCNT3 gene (encoding mucin-type core 2 synthase enzyme, C2GnT-2) and clinical information of the patients were obtained from the Cancer Genome Atlas database (TCGA). The correlation of GCNT3 mRNA expression level with the clinical characteristics of the patients was analyzed. Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox regression analysis were used for assessing the prognostic value of GCNT3. We also tested the effect of a short hairpin RNA (shRNA) targeting GCNT3 on the proliferation of the colorectal cancer cell line HT-29 using MTT assay. Results GCNT3 mRNA expression level was significantly decreased in CRC tissues as compared with the paired adjacent colorectal tissues (P < 0.001). A low expression level of GCNT3 was significantly correlated with a reduced disease-free survival (DFS) rate in the patients with CRC (P < 0.05). In HT-29 cells, interference of C2GnT-2 with the specific shRNA significantly promoted the cell proliferation as compared with the control cells (P < 0.01). Conclusion The expression of GCNT3 is significantly downregulated in CRC tissues, and a low expression of GCNT3 can be indicative of a low disease-free survival rate of patients with CRC.

Background and purpose: In 2016 the National Cancer Institute (NCI) decided stopping to use NCI-60 cell lines for drug screening, suggesting that tumor cell lines were losing their value as a tool for drug discovery and basic research. The reason for NCI-60 cells 'retirement' was that the preclinical studies based on traditional cellular and animal models did not obtain the corresponding expected efficacy in clinical trials. Since the major cancer behaviors, such as proliferation and metastasis, are fundamentally altered with long-term culture, the tumor cell lines are not representative of the characteristics of cancer in patients. Currently, scientists hope to create a new cancer model that are derived from fresh patient samples and tagged with details about their clinical past. Our purpose was to create patient-derived breast cancer primary cell lines as new cancer model for drug screening and basic research. Methods: Breast cancer tissues were collected in the Department of Breast Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University. The collection of tumor tissue samples was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University (approval number: 2022 ethics No. 313), and the collection and use of tumor tissues complied with the Declaration of Helsinki. The primary breast cancer cell lines were isolated from the patient's breast cancer tissues and cultured in BCMI medium. After the cells proliferated, the media were replaced with DEME medium. Cell line STR genotyping was done to determine cell-specific genetic markers and identification. Clone formation assay and transplantation assay were done to analyze the ability of breast cancer primary cell lines to form tumors. Results: We created 6 primary breast cancer cell lines. The 6 primary breast cancer cell lines from the patients were tagged with the definitively clinicopathological features, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic regimens, clinical effectiveness and prognostic outcomes. The STR genotyping assays identified the genetic markers and determined the identities of the 6 primary breast cancer cell lines. Clone formation assays and transplantation assay showed that the proliferative capacities of the patient-derived primary breast cancer cell lines were significantly greater compared with the conventional breast cancer cell lines. Conclusion: We created a panel of 6 patient-derived primary breast cancer cell lines as new cancer model for drug screening and basic research in breast cancer.

The pressurized thermal shock（ PTS） event poses a potentially significant challenge to the structural integrity of the reactor pressure vessel（ RPV） during the long time operation. In most countries（ with exception of the USA）,proving RPV integrity under the PTS load is based on the deterministic fracture mechanics（ DFM）. In the USA,the "screening criteria"for maximum allowable embrittlement of RPV material,which form part of the USA regulations,are based on the probabilistic fracture mechanics（ PFM）. In this paper,the FAVOR software of Oka Ridge National Laboratory is used to compare the difference between PFM and DFM analysis of the PTS even. The analysis method of FAVOR is shown through case study of the benchmark transient in the IAEA-TECDOC-1627 report. Finally,the limit of the current FAVOR（ Version6. 1） is shown.

Background Urinary incontinence often occurs in women aged 40-60 years and contributes to a significant impact on women's physical health and quality of life. Objective To explore the prevalence and influencing factors of urinary incontinence and its impact on quality of life in women aged 40-60 years in Guizhou Province. Methods From June 2022 to January 2023, women aged 40-60 years who underwent health checkups in 10 hospitals in 7 regions of Guizhou Province were selected as the study subjects. A self-designed general data questionnaire was used to collect the basic data of the study subjects, and International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (ICIQ-FLUTS) and Incontinence Quality of Life Measure (I-QoL) were used to determine the severity of urinary incontinence and the level of quality of life of the study subjects, respectively. Different types of incontinence, including stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and mixed incontinence, were determined according to the diagnostic criteria established by the International Continence Society (ICS). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of urinary incontinence, and explore the effects of different types and severity levels of urinary incontinence on patients' quality of life. Results A total of 3 000 questionnaires were distributed, and 2 966 valid questionnaires were collected, with a valid recovery rate of 98.9%. The prevalence of urinary incontinence among the 2 966 study subjects was 33.4% (991/2 966), including 20.1% (596/2 966) for stress incontinence, 2.0% (58/2 966) for urge incontinence, and 11.4% (337/2 966) for mixed incontinence. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that physical exercise, menstrual status, parity, history of pelvic organ prolapse, perineal laceration, and lateral episiotomy were the influencing factors of stress incontinence (P

Silver plating can be divided into replacement plating and electroplating.In order to compare the corrosion resistance and galvanic corrosion behavior of coatings prepared by these two methods，the corrosion resistance and galvanic corrosion behaviors of the ZHL-02 replacement plating and ZHL-02 electroplating coatings in cyanide-free silver plating process using 5，5-dimethylamide as the main complexing agent were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy，XRD，electrochemical workstation，Tafel curve and galvanic corrosion methods.Results showed that the replacement coating had better crystallization and more complete coverage，and its resistance to galvanic corrosion was slightly better than that of the electroplating coating under the same thickness.With the prolongation of replacement silver plating time，the self-corrosion rate of the coating gradually decreased.However，the replacement plating took a long time，and it was difficult to obtain a thickness of more than 1 μm，which limited its application to a certain extent.Compared with replacement plating，the plating speed of electroplating was much faster，the silver coating ＞2.4 μm could be obtained for 5 min.As the extension of electroplating time，larger particles would appear in the silver coating，forming defective structures such as tiny pores.When the electroplating silver times were 1，2，and 5 min，the corresponding self-corrosion rates were 7.15×10-3，5.30×10-3 and 4.27×10-3 mm/a respectively.Besides，when the electroplating time was extended from 1 min to 2 min and then to 5 min，the average galvanic corrosion rate of the coating decreased first and then increased.

Background Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an important stage to intervene and delay the progression of dementia, and it has been shown closely associated with genetic factors, among which apolipoprotein E (APOE) ε4 is recognized as an important risk allele of MCI in the medical field. Due to the lack of Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) summary data of MCI, it is common to use the GWAS summary data of Alzheimer's disease (AD) as the base dataset to calculate the polygenic risk score (PRS) of MCI, resulting in suboptimal PRS genetic risk prediction for MCI. Objective To explore the and optimize the statistical modeling strategy of genetic risk in MCI from the perspective of generalized linear model and machine learning, using meta-polygenic risk score (metaPRS) and APOEε4 as important predictors. Methods PRS for the 12 MCI-related traits were calculated and integrated into metaPRS for MCI by elastic-net Logistic regression model. SCOREAPOE was calculated by weighting the APOEε4 effect size with age correction. XGBoost, GBM, Logistic regression and Lasso regression were used as statistical modeling methods to verify the inclusion strategies of different predictors based on metaPRS, SCOREAPOE and basic demographic information (age, gender, education level) . AUC and F-measure were used to evaluate the predictive effect of statistical modeling of genetic risk of MCI. Results metaPRS and SCOREAPOE have high predictive value for the genetic risk of MCI. After including metaPRS, SCOREAPOE and basic demographic information (age, gender, education level) , the predictive effect of each statistical modeling method is XGBoost (AUC=0.69, F-measure=0.88) , GBM (AUC=0.76, F-measure=0.87) , Logistic regression (AUC=0.77, F-measure=0.89) , and Lasso regression (AUC=0.76, F-measure=0.92) . Conclusion When the sample size is 325 (less than 500) , the Lasso regression model constructed by including metaPRS, SCOREAPOE and basic demographic information (age, gender, education level) as predictors has the best effect on MCI genetic risk prediction, providing a new idea and perspective for statistical modeling of genetic risk of complex diseases such as MCI.

The etiology of primary biliary cholangitis （PBC） is unclear， which may be associated with genetic， hereditary and environmental factors， etc. Ursodeoxycholic acid （UDCA） is the first-line drug for the treatment of PBC. Eosinophilic granulomatous with polyangiitis （EGPA） is a systemic vascular inflammatory disease characterized by necrotizing vasculitis， infiltration of eosinophils in tissues and organs， and formation of extravascular granulomas. In this report， a 65-year-old male patient presented with recurrent rashes on four limbs， recurrent abnormal liver function， asthma-like wheezing， microscopic hematuria， abnormal renal function， and eosinophilia. He was finally diagnosed with PBC complicated with EGPA. This case suggests that the possibility of rheumatic immune system disease should be considered for patients with unexplained eosinophilia complicated with multiple organ damage， such as skin， lung， liver， kidney， and immune system.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of sodium butyrate on intestinal barrier in mice with hyperuricemia. Methods Male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into control group, model group, and sodium butyrate group. Mice in the model group were intraperitoneally injected with potassium oxonate (250 mg/kg) every day, and fed with high yeast diet freely. Mice in the sodium butyrate group were given 200 mg/kg sodium butyrate by gavage every day on the basis of the treatment in the model group. Mice in the control group were intraperitoneally injected and intragastrically administered with the same dose of normal saline every day. The intervention lasted for 21 d. The expression levels of ZO-1 and Occludin protein and mRNA in small intestine tissues of mice in each group were measured by Western blot, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), and immunohistochemical staining. The pathological morphology of small intestine tissues in each group was observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. The content of inflammatory factors in small intestine tissues was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Objective To evaluate the efficacy, safety and prognosis of intravascular multi-mode combined therapy based on balloon-assisted thrombolysis and intermediate catheter aspiration for severe cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Methods Clinical data of 13 patients with severe cerebral venous sinus thrombosis treated with intravascular multi-mode combined therapy based on balloon-assisted thrombolysis and intermediate catheter aspiration were retrospectively analyzed. Glasgow coma score （GCS） and Barthel index score before and 1 week after operation were recorded. Clinical prognosis was evaluated by modified Rankin scale （mRS） and recanalization of occlusion was evaluated by brain magnetic resonance venography （MRV） or digital subtraction angiography （DSA）. Results In case 1, the occlusion of the superior sagittal sinus and double frontal top branch veins was partially recanalized. In case 9, the occlusion of the right transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus was partially recanalized. In case 7 and case 13, chronic occlusion of the left transverse sinus and left sigmoid sinus was not recanalized, whereas the other venous sinuses were completely recanalized. The remaining 9 patients achieved complete recanalization. The GCS and Barthel index score at postoperative 1 week were significantly higher than those before operation （both P < 0.05）. No intervention-induced complications occurred intraoperatively or postoperatively. During postoperative 6-month follow-up, favorable outcomes （mRS≤2） were achieved in 10 patients and complete recanalization was obtained in 9 patients. Conclusion Intravascular multi-mode combined treatment based upon balloon thrombolysis and intermediate catheter aspiration is efficacious and safe for severe intracranial venous sinus thrombosis, which yields high clinical prognosis.

Objective To identify the pathogenic variant in a Chinese family with X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA). Methods A trio family with suspected X-linked agammaglobulinemia was recruited. The pathogenic variant was detected by the whole exome sequencing, and then confirmed by Sanger sequencing. cDNA sequencing was performed to find the abnormal splicing of the BTK variant. Quantitative real-time PCR was conducted to evaluate the mRNA expression of BTK in the patient. Results A novel hemizygous splicing variant (c.240+3A＞C) was identified in the BTK gene from this patient. The variant co-segregated with the phenotype of the family members was not listed in the public databases, such as dbSNP153,ExAC, gnomAD or the Human Gene Mutation Database. Further Sanger sequencing demonstrated that the BTK c.240+3A＞C variant led to a 106 bp from intron 3 of BTK insertion between exon 3 and exon 4 of the BTK transcript. The mRNA expression of BTK in the patient was significantly reduced as compared to a control individual. Conclusions The novel c.240+3A＞C splicing variant in BTK likely results in X-linked agammaglobulinemia in this family.

Objective To investigate the effects of inhibiting histone H3K27me3/2 demethylase on proliferation of well-differentiated human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell in vitro and explore the underlying mechanisms. Methods Human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-1 was cultured in vitro, and histone H3K27me3/2 demethylation was specifically blocked by histone H3K27me3/2 demethylase inhibitor GSK-J4. The cells were incubated with 0.25,0.5,1.0,2.0,4.0 mmol/L GSK-J4 as the experimental groups, while DMSO was applied as control group. Immunofluorescence assay and flow cytometry were used to analyze the expression of intracellular histone H3K27me3. Real-time quantitative PCR was applied to detect the expression of cyclinD1 and Ki-67 mRNA in cells. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) was used to evaluate cell proliferation. The cloning of CNE-1 cells was observed by colony formation assay. Flow cytometry was also used to detect cell cycle distribution. Results The expression level of histone H3K27me3 in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05); cyclinD1 and Ki-67 mRNA expression levels in the experimental groups were down-regulated compared with the control group (P＜0.05); The cell viability of CNE-1 cells decreased gradually with the increase of GSK-J4 concentration. The cell proliferation and colony formation in the experimental group were significantly decreased than those in the control group (P＜0.05); cell cycle was blocked in G0/G1 phase, the percentage of cells in G0/G1 phase was increased and the S phase decreased in the experimental group(P＜0.05). Conclusions Up-regulation of methylation of histone H3K27 in CNE-1 cells induces cell cycle arrest and inhibits cell proliferation. The mechanism may be related to down-regulation of cyclinD1 and Ki-67 mRNA levels.

Ceria nanoparticles (CeO 2 NPs) have become popular materials in biomedical and industrial fields due to their potential applications in anti-oxidation, cancer therapy, photocatalytic degradation of pollutants, sensors, etc. Many methods, including gas phase, solid phase, liquid phase, and the newly proposed green synthesis method, have been reported for the synthesis of CeO 2 NPs. Due to the wide application of CeO 2 NPs, concerns about their adverse impacts on human health have been raised. This review covers recent studies on the biomedical applications of CeO 2 NPs, including their use in the treatment of various diseases (e.‍g., Alzheimer's disease, ischemic stroke, retinal damage, chronic inflammation, and cancer). CeO 2 NP toxicity is discussed in terms of the different systems of the human body (e.‍g., cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, respiratory toxicity, neurotoxicity, and hepatotoxicity). This comprehensive review covers both fundamental discoveries and exploratory progress in CeO 2 NP research that may lead to practical developments in the future.

Red blood cells (RBCs) are the primary mediators of oxygen transport in the human body, and their function is mainly achieved through conformational changes of hemoglobin (Hb). Hb is a tetramer composed of four subunits, with HbA being the predominant Hb in healthy adults, existing in two forms: tense state (T state) and relaxed state (R state). Endogenous regulators of Hb conformation include 2,3-diphosphoglyceric acid, carbon dioxide, protons, and chloride ions, while exogenous regulators include inositol hexaphosphate, inositol tripyrophosphate, benzabate, urea derivative L35, and vanillin, each with different mechanisms of action. The application of Hb conformational regulators provides new insights into the study of hypoxia oxygen supply issues and the treatment of sickle cell disease.

Cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases have become the major disease endangering people's physical and mental health because of its high morbidity and mortality. Danggui Buxue Decoction, a noteworthy classical prescription, is composed of astragali radix and angelicae sinensis radix at a ratio of 5꞉1. It is a prescription for tonifying both vital energy and blood and has the effect of dredging collaterals. Its main active components, such as polysaccharides, saponins, flavonoids and volatile oils, have good effects on antioxidation, inflammation regulation, immune regulation and promotion of blood circulation. Danggui Buxue Decoction can improve myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and heart failure, relieve the symptoms of diabetic cardiomyopathy, inhibit pulmonary fibrosis, protect lung injury and fight against lung cancer and other cardiopulmonary diseases. Preclinical studies have showed that this prescription can inhibit inflammation and oxidative stress, regulate autophagy and enhance immune function through multi-target pathways. Reviewing the main effective components, pharmacological action and mechanism, and clinical application of Danggui Buxue Decoction are helpful to provide comprehensive information for the clinical application of Danggui Buxue Decoction in prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.

Insomnia is a common disease and its impact on human health cannot be ignored. At present, there are 3 main clinical treatments for insomnia, including traditional Chinese medicine treatment, sedative hypnotic drug therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment for insomnia is widely used due to its advantages of low side effects, good efficacy, and no drug dependence. This paper summarizes the pathogenesis of insomnia in the theories of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Modern medical research generally believes that sleep-wake disorder is the main pathological mechanism of insomnia, involving many factors such as monoamine neurotransmitter disorder, cytokine imbalance and intestinal flora imbalance. TCM mainly divides the pathogenesis of insomnia into 9 kinds of syndrome types: Liver depression transforming into fire, hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency, phlegm-heat attacking internally, disharmony between heart and kidney, deficiency of both heart and spleen, qi deficiency of both heart and gallbaldder, stomach qi disharmony, exuberance of heart fire, and internal blockade of static blood. According to these 9 kinds of pathogenesis of insomnia, the corresponding classical prescriptions such as Longdanxiegan decoction, Suanzaoren decoction, Huanglian-Wendan decoction, Jiaotai pill and Guipi decoction were analyzed and summarized. There is evidence that traditional Chinese medicine could treat insomnia mainly by increasing the level of 5-hydroxytryptamine, reducing the levels of dopamine, noradrenaline, tumor necrosis factor α, and interlukin-6, decreasing the ratio of glutamic acid to γ-aminobutyric acid, and inhibiting the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.

Objectives: Plateau hypoxia exposure causes changes in pharmacokinetic parameters and cerebral-blood distribution of drugs, including many substrates of P-glycoprotein (P-gp). Levetiracetam, a kind of antiepileptic drugs, is a substrate of P-gp. Whether plateau hypoxia exposure changes its pharmacokinetic characteristics and cerebral-blood distribution remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the effects of plateau hypoxia on the pharmacokinetics and cerebra-blood distribution of levetiracetam., Methods: Wistar rats were divided into a low-altitude control group, a high-altitude group, a solvent group, and a P-gp induction group. After 24 h of exposure at altitude of 4 010 m, rats in the high-altitude group were given levetiracetam orally or intravenously. The plasma was respectively collected at 0.083, 0.25, 0.5, 0.83, 1.25, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 24 h after oral administration of the drug, while both plasma and brain were respectively collected at 5, 45, 60,120 and 240 min after intravenous injection. After 3 days administration of dexamethasone, plasma and brain of rats in the P-gp induction group were collected at 120 min after intravenously giving levetiracetam. Plasma and brain concentrations of the drug were determined by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The expression of P-gp in blood-brain barrier was detected by Western blotting., Results: Compared with the low-altitude control group, the area under the curve (AUC) and mean residence time (MRT) of levetiracetam were respectively decreased by 14.69% ( P <0.01) and 15.42% ( P <0.01), while the clearance (CL) was increased by 16.67% ( P <0.01) in the high-altitude group. The ratio of brain/blood plasma drug concentration was decreased by 22.82% ( P <0.05), 12.42% ( P <0.05), 17.40% ( P <0.01), and 13.22% ( P <0.01) at 5, 45, 120, and 240 min after injection, respectively. The expression of P-gp on the blood-brain barrier was increased by 86.3% ( P <0.05). Compared with the solvent control group, the expression of P-gp on the blood-brain barrier in the P-gp induction group was increased by 56.3% ( P <0.05), the ratio of brain/blood plasma drug concentration was decreased by 19.3% ( P <0.05)., Conclusions: After acute plateau hypoxia exposure, the pharmacokinetic of levetiracetam in rats are altered, and the cerebral-blood distribution of the drug in rats is decreased, which may be related to the up-regulation of P-gp expression on the blood-brain barrier.

Objectives: Heme chloride (Hemin) is an in vitro purified form of natural heme and an important raw material for anti-anemia and antitumor drugs. This study aims to analyze the protective effect of Hemin on tissue damage in low-pressure oxygen chamber simulated plateau hypoxic mice, and explore its role in anti-plateau hypoxia., Methods: Thirty male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into a blank group, a positive drug group (acetazolomide, 200 mg/kg), a Hemin low-dose group (15 mg/kg), a Hemin medium-dose group (30 mg/kg), and a Hemin high-dose group (60 mg/kg) with intraperitoneal injection. The anti-hypoxic activity of Hemin was explored by atmospheric closed hypoxia experiment and the optimal dose was screened. Thirty-six male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into a blank group, a hypoxia group, a positive drug group, and a Hemin high-dose group. The plasma inflammatory factor levels and oxidative stress indicators malondialdehyde (MDA), glutataione (GSH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels of myocardium, brain, lung, and liver tissues were measured in different groups with hypoxia for 24 h. The degree of histopathological damage of mice was observed with HE staining. The degree of protection of Hemin against tissue hypoxia injury was detected with the hypoxia probe piperidazole., Results: Compared with the blank group, the survival time of mice in the positive drug group, the Hemin medium-dose group, and high-dose group was significantly extended (all P <0.05), with the highest prolongation rate in the Hemin high-dose group. Compared with the hypoxia group, mice in the Hemin high-dose group showed a significant increase in SOD level and GSH content of brain tissue, and a significant decrease in MDA content of lung tissue (all P <0.05). The results of HE staining and hypoxia probe showed that Hemin had a significant protective effect on the damage of liver, heart, brain and lung tissues of mice with hypoxia, and the most obvious effect on that of the brain tissue., Conclusions: Hemin has an effect of improvement on oxidative stress and inflammatory response caused by hypoxia, and has obvious protective effect on tissue damage caused by hypoxia.

Objectives: To study the virtual reality-pattern visual evoked potential (VR-PVEP) P100 waveform characteristics of monocular visual impairment with different impaired degrees under simultaneous binocular perception and monocular stimulations., Methods: A total of 55 young volunteers with normal vision (using decimal recording method, far vision ≥0.8 and near vision ≥0.5) were selected to simulate three groups of monocular refractive visual impairment by interpolation method. The sum of near and far vision ≤0.2 was Group A, the severe visual impairment group; the sum of near and far vision <0.8 was Group B, the moderate visual impairment group; and the sum of near and far vision ≥0.8 was Group C, the mild visual impairment group. The volunteers' binocular normal visions were set as the control group. The VR-PVEP P100 peak times measured by simultaneous binocular perception and monocular stimulation were compared at four spatial frequencies 16×16, 24×24, 32×32 and 64×64., Results: In Group A, the differences between P100 peak times of simulant visual impairment eyes and simultaneous binocular perception at 24×24, 32×32 and 64×64 spatial frequencies were statistically significant ( P <0.05); and the P100 peak time of normal vision eyes at 64×64 spatial frequency was significantly different from the simulant visual impairment eyes ( P <0.05). In Group B, the differences between P100 peak times of simulant visual impairment eyes and simultaneous binocular perception at 16×16, 24×24 and 64×64 spatial frequencies were statistically significant ( P <0.05); and the P100 peak time of normal vision eyes at 64×64 spatial frequency was significantly different from the simulant visual impairment eyes ( P <0.05). In Group C, there was no significant difference between P100 peak times of simulant visual impairment eyes and simultaneous binocular perception at all spatial frequencies ( P >0.05). There was no significant difference in the P100 peak times measured at all spatial frequencies between simulant visual impairment eyes and simultaneous binocular perception in the control group ( P >0.05)., Conclusions: VR-PVEP can be used for visual acuity evaluation of patients with severe and moderate monocular visual impairment, which can reflect the visual impairment degree caused by ametropia. VR-PVEP has application value in the objective evaluation of visual function and forensic clinical identification.
