Northwest China is strategically crucial for China’s economic development, social stability, and national defense security. However, the shortage of water resources and its fragile ecological environment have been hindering local economic development and life quality improvement for local residents. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of agricultural production and trade in Northwest China from 2000 to 2018 from the perspective of water footprint and virtual water, and clarifies the impact of virtual water flow on local water resources. Research shows that the water footprint regarding crop production in Northwest China showed a fluctuating upward trend from 2000 to 2018. The outflow scale of virtual water gradually increases alongside with the transfer-out of fruits and cotton. The outflow of virtual water regarding fruits and cotton in Northwest China was 3.212 × 1011 m3 in 2018, accounting for 69.8 % of the total water footprint regarding crop production. The Yellow River Basin is the primary inflow area of virtual water from Northwest China, and the region northwest to the “Qice line” is the primary outflow area of virtual water. Water shortage is severe in Northwest China and fruit and cotton are planted for trade to drive economic growth. Therefore, optimizing the crop planting and virtual water trade structures and encouraging inter-basin water transfer are key measures to regulate physical–virtual water cycle, alleviate the contradiction between water supply and demand, and ensure regional water security.

Development of the SCADA system testbed is an important foundation work for investigating the cyber security problems of SCADA system. It is necessary to have a deep understand of the current research condition so as to construct an appropriate SCADA testbed. This paper firstly introduced the architecture and components of a SCADA system. Then it analyzed the advantages and disadvantages, key technologies and development tools of several typical SCADA tesetbeds. Finally, it pointed out the future research direction and possible improvement for SCADA system cyber security testbed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To assess the association of genetic polymorphisms of CYP2C19*2,*3,*17 with the recurrence risk of ischemic stroke during clopidogrel prevention in ethnic Han Chinese from Fujian Province., Methods: Clinical data of 985 patients with acute ischemic stroke was collected. After 1 year postdischarge follow-up evaluations, only 114 patients with persistence of clopidogrel were enrolled. CYP2C19 genetic polymorphisms were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP)and direct sequencing ,then we analysis the correlation between polymorphisms and the recurrence of stroke., Results: Among the 114 patients, 23 had a second onset whilst receiving clopidogrel treatment. During the antiplatelet therapy with clopidogrel, carriers of CYP2C19 poor metabolizer (CYP2C19*2/*2 or *2/*3) had a higher rate of recurrent stroke compared with extensive metabolizers (CYP2C19*1/*1) (OR=4.71, 95%CI: 1.18-18.80, P<0.05). Carriers of CYP2C19 *2 mutant allele had increased recurrence compared with those carrying none loss-of-function allele (OR=2.31, 95%CI: 1.20-4.46, P<0.05). The rate of recurrent stroke in those carrying homozygous mutant *2 allele (CYP2C19*2/*2) was 6.14 times greater than the rate of wild-type homozygotes (CYP2C19*1/*1) (95%CI: 1.54-24.54, P<0.05). Patients with previous stroke history had increased risk of recurrence (OR= 4.146, 95%CI: 1.259-13.655, P<0.05). However, CYP2C19*17 was not detected in the group., Conclusion: For ethnic Han Chinese patients receiving clopidogrel treatment, carriers of poor metabolizer or homozygous mutant *2 allele (CYP2C19*2/*2) have a higher risk of recurrent stroke. The CYP2C19 *2 allele is an independent risk factor for recurrent stroke. Those with previous history of stroke are more prone to the recurrence.
