With the gradual expansion of aquaculture industry in China, the frequent occurrence of diseases in aquatic animal aquaculture and the pollution of aquatic water are becoming more and more serious. The long-term use of antibiotics and traditional vaccines in aquaculture has caused water pollution, drug-resistant strains, antibiotic residues, and other problems, which restricts the healthy development of aquaculture industry. Plant polysaccharides play an important role in replacing antibiotics. Plant polysaccharides exist in the leaves, flowers, roots, stems, and fruits of plants. They are macromolecular polymers that connect various monosaccharides by glycosidic bonds. Plant polysaccharides have the advantages of safety, high efficiency, low residue and no drug resistance. Plant polysaccharides have many biological functions, such as regulating immunity, anti-oxidation, lowering blood sugar, anti-tumor, and improving intestinal health. The application of plant polysaccharides in animal production can improve body health, enhance immunity and antioxidant capacity, and improve production performance. Therefore, this paper mainly reviewed the physicochemical properties, biological functions of plant polysaccharides and their application in aquaculture, so as to provide a reference for their further promotion and application in aquaculture. Clostridium butyricum is an anaerobic heterotrophic Gram-positive Bacillus, which can produce butyric acid and lactic acid. As a kind of probiotics, Clostridium butyricum is widely found in the intestinal tract of humans and animals. The characteristics of Clostridium butyricum are safety, high temperature resistance, gastric acid resistance, bile salt resistance, and so on. Adding proper amount of Clostridium butyricum in diet can improve animal growth performance, enhance animal immunity and antioxidant function, improve livestock and poultry product quality, adjust intestinal microecological balance, and promote intestinal health. Compared with antibiotics, Clostridium butyricum can effectively reduce drug residue, which has the advantages of green environmental protection and no drug resistance. It is an ideal substitute for dietary antibiotics. The paper reviews the characteristics, biological functions and mechanism of Clostridium butyricum, and summarizes the applications of Clostridium butyricum in poultry production, in order to provide a reference for reasonable application of Clostridium butyricum in poultry production. Ginseng by-products mainly include ginseng residue, and unused ginseng stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and roots, etc. They are rich in ginsenoside, ginseng polysaccharide, and other active substances, and have a variety of biological functions such as improving immunity, anti-fatigue, bacteriostasis, and anti-virus. At present, ginseng by-products are primarily treated as waste, which not only maximize their effects but also resulting in a waste of resources. Ginseng by-products have good application prospects in animal production. Ginseng residue, as well as ginseng stems and leaves, can be used as dietary components or additives, and the ginsenoside found in ginseng stems and leaves can also serve as an adjuvant for animal vaccines. Therefore, the paper reviews the biological functions and application in animal production of ginseng by-products, to provide a reference for improving the comprehensive utilization rate of ginseng by-products and improving animal production. In the Legacy of Huangdi Neijing Suwen, the spleen is likened to the "Official in Charge of Admonition and Arbitration", and its mechanism of action is closely related to the physiological characteristics of the spleen. The spleen's function is based on its " concealment of the mind and mastery of thought", and this provides ideological guidance for the spleen's "remonstration". Furthermore, the spleen's "central position to instill the four sides" creates convenient conditions for the rapid arrival of "remonstration", and its "main transport and transformation" provides an important source of energy for the "Zhi Zhou"; it further ensures the orderly development of the "remonstration" function. The "spleen is the guard" is the concrete embodiment of "remonstration" by the spleen that plays the role of guarding the body and resisting external evil. Western medicine believes that this theory has something in common with the immune function of the body. This paper summarizes the interpretation of the spleen as the "Official in Charge of Admonition and Arbitration" by medical scholars through the ages, relying on the ideas of "comparing images with similarities" and "preventing diseases" based on the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine that considers the physiological characteristics of the spleen related to Chinese medicine and the interpretation of its theoretical connotation by modern medicine. With the scientific and standardized development of poultry breeding industry, antibiotics, hormones and other additives are added to the poultry diet. It is common to add antibiotics, hormones, and other substances to poultry diets. While improving production performance and breeding efficiency, there are also many harmful substances left in poultry bodies, leading to environmental pollution and endangering human health. Chinese herbal medicine preparation is harmless, low pollution and less toxicity, It has become the best product to replace chemical synthetic antibiotics, and is an important choice for the healthy and green development of animal husbandry in the future. This paper reviews the effects of maternal effect genes on the growth and development of insects. Insect maternal effect genes are known to induce the formation of anteroposterior and dorsiventral polarity in embryos, regulate the diapause of eggs, enhance immunity and influence the differentiation and developmental period of progeny. The continuous development and application of CRISPR and other new technologies will expand the scope and depth of research on maternal effect gene functions, which in turn will help develop new technologies to both improve the positive traits of beneficial insects and control agricultural pests. Based on the existing sequential function method for one-dimensional and two-dimensional surface heat flux identification, this paper presents a combination of neural network and sequential function method considering the real-time difficulty of three-dimensional identification. In this paper, a neural network is designed to correct the three-dimensional effects based on the results of one-dimensional identification, which can get accurate real-time results of peak heat flux. Furthermore, PSO algorithm is introduced to optimize the initial weights and thresholds of the neural network in order to obtain a better model. It can be seen from the test results that the method presented for the peak heat flux is accurate with errors less than 4%.The method avoids time complexity of three-dimensional identification and has good noise immunity and stability at the same time. - Abstract
The trophoblasts of the hydatidiform mole and those of normal pregnancy were both originated from the ectoderm and were regulated by paternally imprinted genes. Trophoblasts of normal pregnancy during early pregnancy could induce immune tolerance at the maternal-fetal interface by expressing non-classical human leukocyte antigen and inducing immune cell suppression to ensure fetuses′ normal growth and development. However, the current understanding of the immunological changes of the hydatidiform mole was still limited. Recently, studies have revealed that the interaction between trophoblasts of the hydatidiform mole and immune cells of the maternal-fetal interface was a crucial factor that influenced the prognosis after uterine evacuation. The immune response of peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) in patients with mole was associated with the advance of mole, which reflected the adaptive changes of the patient′s immune system to the continuous pregnancy of mole. In order to explore the above -mentioned immunological characteristics of hydatidiform mole, this paper reviewed the recent research progress on the composition of immune cells at the maternal-fetal interface of hydatidiform mole and the immune status of PBMC. 【Objective】The present paper aimed to explore the influence of the selenium-enriched astragalus polysaccharide( SAPS) on antioxidant function,lipid metabolism,tissue selenium content and immunity of Bashang long-tailed chickens.【Method】The experiment adopted a completely randomized trial design according to the routine feeding management and regulations. 1000 healthy Bashang long-tailed chicken aged 30 weeks were selected. The chickens were randomly divided into 5 groups with 10 replocates per group and 20 chickens for each replicatie. The experimental groups were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0. 1%( groupⅠ),0. 3%( groupⅡ),0. 5%( group Ⅲ),0. 7%( group Ⅳ) and 0. 9%( group Ⅴ) selenium-enriched astragalus polysaccharide.【Result】Compared with group I, with the addition dose of the selenium-enriched astragalus polysaccharide from 0. 1% to 0. 9%,SOD and GSH PX in group III were significantly increased by 0. 13% and 0. 4%,respectively( P < 0. 05),and there was no significant effect between group III and other groups( P > 0. 05); MDA content was the lowest in group III, but there were no significant differences among test groups( P > 0. 05). Plasma cholesterol in group III was significantly lower than that in group I,II,IV and V by 0. 9%,0. 6%,0. 3% and0. 6%,respectively( P < 0. 05). The selenium-enriched astragalus polysaccharide had no significant effects on Liver cholesterol( P > 0. 05).Triglyceride: compared with group V, triglyceride in group III was decreased by 0. 9%( P < 0. 05),but there was no significant difference compared with other test groups( P > 0. 05),and liver triglyceride in group III was significantly lower than group V by 0. 98%( P < 0. 05).Egg selenium content in group III was the highest, which was higher than that in other groups by 4. 67%,4. 28%,4. 04% and 4. 28%( P <0. 05). Compared with groupⅠand groupⅤ, serum selenium content in group Ⅲ was significantly increased by 6. 60% and 4. 87%( P <0. 05). Liver selenium content in group Ⅲ was higher than that in groupⅠand groupⅤ by 4. 79% and 4. 12%( P < 0. 05). Kidney seleniumin content in group Ⅲ was increased by 4. 61%,3. 58%,3. 95% and 4. 77%,respectively( P < 0. 05). Spleen index: there were significant effects among group Ⅲ and groupⅠ, groupⅡand groupⅤ( P < 0. 05). Compared with low dose groups, bursa of fabricius index in groupⅢ was significantly increased( P < 0. 05). Newcastle disease antibody at 7 days age: group Ⅲ was the highest, and there were significant effects among groupⅠ,groupⅡ and groupⅤ( P < 0. 05); And group Ⅲ was significantly increased than groupⅤ by 18%( P < 0. 05),groupⅢ was significantly increased than groupⅠby 16%( P < 0. 05) at 10 days age; 7 days age: compared with groupⅠ, groupⅡand groupⅤ, Avian influenza antibody in group Ⅲ was the highest, and there were significant differences among groups( P < 0. 05); compared with groupⅤ, antibody titer in group Ⅲ was increased by 19%( P < 0. 05),and the differences among groupⅡ,group Ⅳand groupⅤ were significant( P >0. 05).【Conclusion】The results indicated that the selenium-enriched astragalus polysaccharide added into the basal diet could improve the antioxidant function and tissue selenium content, and enhance the immunity and lipid metabolism ability.
