Strengthening the supply of feed grain is an important starting point for stabilizing the supply and demand of feed grain market and promoting the high-quality development of animal husbandry. Based on the monthly data samples of feed grain supply and demand structure from January 2006 to December 2022, this paper uses the VAR model to empirically analyze the feed grain supply and demand structure in China. The results showed that maize supply had the most obvious influence on feed grain supply and demand structure, followed by urban and rural residents' consumption of livestock products, and rice supply was the lowest. From the perspective of supply, the main influencing factors of feed grain supply and demand structure change include maize supply, soybean meal supply, sorghum supply, and wheat supply. From the perspective of demand, the consumption of livestock products by urban and rural residents was the main factor affecting the change of feed grain supply and demand structure. From the perspective of emergencies, natural disaster risk index was not the Granger cause of the change of feed grain supply and demand structure. Under ignoring other factors, the contribution rate of natural disaster risk index to the change of feed grain supply and demand structure after seven weeks was 23.62%. Research shows that changes in the supply and demand structure of feed grains are mainly influenced by factors such as corn supply, consumption of livestock products by urban and rural residents, soybean meal supply, sorghum supply, wheat supply, and natural disaster risks. Against the background that China has entered the middle-late stage of population urbanization, conducting a multi-dimensional exploration of its development pattern from a structural level under the superficial phenomenon of rapid urbanization is conducive to a clear identification and understanding of the internal mechanisms and rules of urbanization, the discovery of problems existing in the process of urbanization, and the proposal of rational response strategies. This paper mainly used the county-level data from China's sixth and seventh population censuses, taking the prefecture-level administrative region as the basic statistical unit, to comprehensively analyze the development pattern of China's population urbanization from 2010 to 2020 in terms of changes in the urban and rural populations, sources of urban population growth, and the spatial distribution of the urban population at the provincial and regional levels. The results showed that: (J) The increase in the population urbanization ratio was the result of the joint effect of changes in the urban and rural populations, and the contribution of urban population growth was slightly higher than that of rural population decline. © The migration of the rural population to cities was still the absolute main force driving urban population growth in China, followed by territorial adjustment growth and natural growth. © The spatial distribution of the urban population tended to be dispersed, and the contribution of county-residing urban population changes to urbanization was slightly higher than that of urban population changes in urban areas. ® The urbanization ratio increase in the northeast region was mainly the result of the decrease in the rural population. Natural negative growth and net outflows occurred in the urban population. Moreover, most of this region experienced serious losses in the county-residing urban population. Accordingly, different levels of governments should promptly examine the structural characteristics of their urbanization in the past, continuously promote economic development, and improve public service supply based on the characteristics of their own natural conditions and conditions of urban population changes and distributions to formulate more targeted population urbanization strategies and to explore a sustainable population urbanization path that meets their own reality. The pandemic has had a significant impact on the travel behavior of urban residents and has caused changes in the intercity travel network of urban agglomerations. However, few existing studies have explored the spatio-temporal changes of the intercity travel network of urban agglomerations under the pandemic. This paper took seven urban agglomerations in China as the study area, and conducted a comparative study on the hierarchy, scale, and spatial pattern of the intercity travel flow during China's National Day holiday before (i. e., 2019) and after (i. e., 2021) the COVID-19 pandemic based on Baidu migration data. The results are shown as follows. 1 The pandemic has changed the scale and temporal pattern of intercity travel flow in urban agglomerations. The total intercity travel flow of the seven urban agglomerations during the National Day holiday in 2021 is 64% lower than that in 2019. There are two main types of travel evolution pattern over time, that is, "C" shape and decreasing to stable with the time. 2 The external and internal travel networks of urban agglomerations have three modes: multi-core development, dual-core drive and single-core radiation. After the pandemic, travel flows become more low-value and provincial, and administrative boundaries have increased restrictions on the resident travel of urban agglomerations. 3 The number of external dominant flow in urban agglomerations is higher than the number of internal dominant flow, and the intensity of travel flow is vice versa, indicating that the "proximity effect" of internal and external dominant flow after the pandemic is increasingly enhanced, and the pattern of external dominant flow is largely contracted to the province or neighboring provinces. 4 Both GDP per capita and employees have a significant impact on the spatio-temporal changes of the travel network, indicating higher economic resilience and larger travel flow scat in the core cities of the urban agglomeration after the pandemic. The effect of administrative hierarchy and tourism resource abundance are not significant to the scale of urban inflows due to the impact of prevention and control of the pandemic. The passenger volumes of high-speed rail and highway contribute positively to the scale of city inflows, mainly due to choice preferences for short/middle distance travel under the pandemic. As urbanization enters its mid- to late-stage and the household registration system is steadily liberalized, inter-city mobility is replacing urban-rural mobility as the mainstream of population migration, and the environment is playing an increasingly important role in the cross-city migration decisions of the population. Understanding the positive feedback mechanism between environmental governance, population mobility, and more far-reaching economic impact is important for strengthening confidence in the resonance between environmental governance and high-quality development and activating the dynamics of Chinese modernization. This article constructed a quantitative spatial model (QSM) incorporating labor migration to structurally estimate the changes in urban labor productivity and its influencing factors from 2008 to 2020, and assessed the economic impact of haze management based on the calibrated quantitative model with realistic data from 285 local cities in China. The results showed that: 1 Haze control could improve both urban labor productivity and residents' welfare, and the policy overlay effect of household registration reform could further strengthen this positive effect, and haze control would boost labor productivity by 7.75% on average under the scenario of sufficient labor mobility. 2 There were multiple heterogeneities in the effect of haze control on urban labor productivity, with megacities and cities with severe haze pollution having a greater average labor productivity increase from haze control. 3 A counterfactual simulation of a series of actions under the 'dual carbon' goals found that the government's mandatory environmental targets improved urban labor productivity while urging cities to improve air quality, and that the 'dual carbon' goals were more effective in regional coordination than in key regions. These goals were more effective than the 'plus' policy imposed on the key regions. Therefore, in the future, we need to focus on the joint efforts of household registration system reform and environmental governance and further 'unbundle' population mobility to build a unified national market, so as to effectively release the structural dividends of labor mobility across regions, establish common governance goals to implement multifaceted collaborative haze control, and activate labor and various production factors based on a more livable urban environment to further promote urban economic potential. Using the data from the 2009 JSNET project, the present study explores the role of social eating on political trust among urban residents in eight Chinese cities. Based on a critical review of the existing literature, the authors of this article propose the hypothesis that social eating has corrosive effects on political trust, and identify social mechanisms through which guanxi capital exerts its role. Using the instrumental variable ordinal Probit model, we have confirmed the negative effects of social eating, and analyzed how these effects are differentiated between and among social groups defined by institution, gender, education, and region. We show that there are significant negative effects of social eating on different dimensions of political trust, and. the effects are different across social groups. Findings in this paper reveal that the process of accumulating, maintaining and mobilizing guanxi capital via social eating among urban Chinese often comes with side effects at the society level. Unlike traditional social capital studies, we focus on negative roles of socializing to unpack the association between trust and guanxi capital. Although social eating is not the only way to generate and maintain guanxi capital among the Chinese, it is the most important channel under the Chinese context. Although the corrosive role of social eating in itself is not a proof for the direct effect of social capital on politics, it can be seen as a byproduct of the social capital process. As to the applied range and optimization of grey forecast model, according to the principle that grey GM(1,1) model's parameters are grey and adjustable, the connotation model and parameter packet formulas of GM(1,1, β) were put forward in this paper, and some properties of the model and model's optimization algorithm was analyzed. The results show that the objective valuing region of parameter a of GM(1,1, β) model is (-∞+ ∞), and the objective valuing region of parameter a of GM(1,1) model is (- 2,+2), the objective valuing region of parameter a is determined by the background value coefficient, and it has nothing with raw data sequence; GM(1,1, β) grey differential equation completely suits for the homogeneous exponential function series. Finally, the example of simulating and forecasting the per capita income of urban dwellers in China shows that the grey differential equation GM(1,1, β) is valid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
