The resistant behavior of large-scale billboard should be taken into consideration while design. The mechanical behavior of large-scale billboard under lateral wind load is analyzed by numerical simulation of FEA and model test. It is a significant concept to enhance the torsion resistance ability of billboard structure in order to reduce the disaster under wind load. The most unfavorable wind load in certain direction is also pointed out. The relationship between stiffness and mass distribution and structure failure model is discussed. Results show that the vibration model is related to stiffness and mass distribution, column torsion is the key matter, which is proven by model test.
