Objective To explore the effect of transurethral plasma prostate enucleation (TUKEP; Transurethral plasma enucleation of the prostate) on IPSS, QoL score, and in patients with prostatic hyperplasia. Methods 100 patients with Phyperplasia admitted to our hospital from January 1,2017 to September 1,2021 were selected as the subjects of this study・ According to the different treatment methods adopted by patients, 50 cases of observation group and control group, the control group underwent transurethral electric resection of the prostate (TURP; Transurethral electrical resection of the prostate), the observation group underwent transurethrfd plasma enucleation of the prostate, observe and compare the surgical conditions of the two groups (intraoperative blood loss, operation time, quality of prostate resection, bladder washing time, indwlling catheter time, etc.), residual urine volume before and after treatment (PVR; postvoid residual), international prostate symptom score (IPSS), patient quality of life (QoL; quality of life) score, maximum urinary flow rate (Q彌;Maximum urinary flow rate), postoperative complications. Results Hie operation time, bladder irrigation time, indwelling catheter time, and intraoperative blood loss of the observation group were (106・ 45 ± 18・ 29) min, (58・ 24 ± 17・ 23) mL, (3・ 53 ±0・ 92) d, and (19・ 45 ± 1.62) h respectively, and significantly shorter than the control group (132.76 ±32.11) min, (120,05 ±26.79) mL, (5.73 ±1.13) d, (27-74 ±4.12) h. Tlie excised tissue weight (55.76 ±16.43) g was higher than that of the control group (48・27 ±24・ 89) g, the difference was statistically significant (P <0・ 05); 3 months after the operation, the two groups of patients were improved to a certain extent, and the IPSS score, RUV value of the observation group were (5.95±l・08), (21.38 土2.12) mL was significantly lower than the control group (7・ 10 ± 0.94), (24.01 ± 2.31) mL, Q却 value (20・ 57 土 0・ 97) mL/s. It was significantly higher than the control group (17・ 88 ± 1.16) mL/s, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). There was no significant difiference in the QoL score between the two groups after operation (P >0・ 05). Hie incidence of complications in the observation group was 5. 00% (3/50) was significandy lower than 16.00% (8/50) of the control group, and the difiference was statistically significant (P <0,05)・ Condusion Transurethral plasma enucleation of the prostate has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Objective To explore the inhibitory effects of Qizhi Tongqiao capsule (QTC) on rat prostatic hyperplasia induced by exogenous testosterone propionate and mechanisms. Methods A total of 27 male SD rats were included in this study and divided into 3 groups randomly and averagely as normal control group, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) model group and QTC treatment group. BPH rat models were established through subcutaneous injection with testosterone propionate (Smg/kg/d). Powder suspension of QTC was given orally for 28 days (1. 52g/kg/d), then rats were all executed. Body weight and prostatic wet weight were recorded and prostate tissues were obtained. Pathological changes of the rat prostate were examined by HE staining. Protein expressions of Bax, Bcl-2, PCNA, HIF-10'. and VEGF were tested through Western blotting. Results Compared with the control group, the prostatic wet weight and prostatic index of rats in the model group both elevated significantly (P < 0. 01) which can be inhibited by orally-administered QTC (P < 0. 01, P < 0. 05). HE staining results indicated in the model group the prostatic epithelial became thicker (P < 0. 01) and lumen area decreased than in the control group, which can be improved by orally-administered QTC (P < 0. 01). Compared with the control group, protein expressions of Bcl-2, PCNA, HIF-1 C'. and VEGF significantly increased while protein expression of Bax and Bax/Bcl2 ratio significantly decreased in the prostatic tissues of rats in the model group (P < 0. 01). However, protein expressions of Bcl-2, PCNA, HIF-10'. and VEGF can be significantly inhibited and Bax/Bcl-2 ratio was markedly elevated with QTC treatment (P < 0. 01). Conclusion QTC treatment can significantly impede rat BPH which was induced by subcutaneous injection with testosterone propionate and ameliorate pathologic changes of the prostate, inhibit prostatic epithelial thickening. And the inhibitory effects on Bcl-2, PCNA, HIF-10', VEGF protein expressions and improving effect on Bax/Bcl-2 ratio of QTC may partly explain why it works. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To investigate the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) combined with serum prostate specific antigen (PSA), epithelial cadherin (SE-cadherin) and early prostate cancer antigen-2（EPCA-2) in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 50 pathologically confirmed patients with prostate cancer (prostate group） and50 patients with prostatic hyperplasia (prostate hyperplasia group) in Weifang people’s Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021. All 100subjects underwent MRI examination and serum PSA, EPCA-2 and s E-cadherin levels were determined. MRI imaging characteristics of patients in the two groups were analyzed, and the differences in the diagnostic accuracy of PSA, EPCA-2 and s E-cadherin levels and various examination methods were compared between the two groups. Results: The MRI features of prostate cancer were that the lesions were mainly located in the peripheral zone, and the peripheral zone showed low signal intensity on T2W, the lesion invades the capsule, bladder and surrounding tissues with T1 weighted disappearance or asymmetry, with abnormal signal and muscle thickening, and pelvic lymph node metastasis with partial fusion or enlargement of lymph nodes. The MRI features of benign prostatic hyperplasia were clear boundary, complete capsule, central zone hyperplasia and uneven signal nodules. Prostatic carcinoma and prostatic hyperplasia all had varying degrees of prostate volume enlargement. Compared with the prostate hyperplasia group, the PSA, s E-cadherin and EPCA-2 levels in prostate cancer group were significantly higher. The diagnostic coincidence rate of MRI, PSA, s E-cadherin and EPCA-2 combined application in differentiating prostate cancer and prostate hyperplasia was 96.00%, which was significantly higher than 88.00%, 79%,81% and 82% of MRI, PSA, SE-cadherin and EPCA-2 alone (P<0.05). Conclusion: MRI combined with PSA, s E-cadherin and EPCA-2has high accuracy in the in the differential diagnosis of prostate cancer, which has the potential to be used as an guiding scheme for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer. Objective To understand the level of subjective well-being of patients with prostate hyperplasia and its influencing factors, so as to provide reference for the implementation of measures to improve the level of subjective well-being of patients. Methods A total of 412 patients with prostatic hyperplasia were investigated by general demographic data questionnaire, Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of happiness, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Self-rating anxiety Scale and self-management ability Scale. Results The subjective well-being score of patients with BPH was (21.17±8.36). The subjective well-being score of patients with BPH was positively correlated with the total score of self-management ability (P < 0.01, r=0.380), and negatively correlated with the total score of anxiety and Pittsburgh sleep quality (P < 0.01, r=-0.536; P < 0.01, r=-0.553); Multiple linear regression analysis showed that family per capita monthly income, self-management ability, anxiety and sleep disturbance were the main influencing factors of SWB (P < 0.01), which could explain 38.9% of the total variation. Conclusion The subjective well-being of patients with BPH is at a moderate level. It is suggested that medical staff should pay attention to the improvement of patients’self-management ability, sleep quality and mental health education, so as to improve the level of subjective well-being of patients. Objective To observe on intervention of TFF/Wnt signaling pathway on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with Yiqi Huoxue Xiaozheng Fang (Qi-replenishing, Blood-activating and Aggregation-resolving Formula, YQHXXZF), and explore its mechanism of action. Methods Twelve healthy adult male SD rats were taken as the blank control group, and 60 castrated rats were randomly divided into model control group, Longbishu group (1.687 5 g/kg), low-dose (10.625 g/kg), mid-dose (21.250 g/kg) and high-dose (42.50 g/kg) YQHXXZF groups. The model was made by subcutaneous injection of testosterone propionate, and the blank control group and model control group were gavage with distilled water, and each treatment group was given intragastric gavage with the corresponding drug solution. After 30 days, the rats were sacrificed to remove the prostate. The wet weight, volume and index of the rats' prostate in each group were measured. The prostate tissue was observed by using HE staining. The expression of TFF2, Wnt4 and Wnt6 mRNA was detected by using QRT-PCR. Results Goth YQHXXZF and Longbishu capsule reduced the wet weight, volume and index of prostate in GPH model rats to varying degrees. The curative effect of high-dose YQHXXZF was better than Longbishu capsule. YQHXXZF at three doses reduced the wet weight, volume and index of prostate, which showed a certain positive correlation and dose-dependent effect. In terms of pathological changes of the prostate tissue in the GPH model rats, the effects of the high-dose group of YQHXXZF and the Longbishu group were the most significant groups. Goth YQHXXZF and Longbishu Capsules reduced the acinar area and interstitial area of the prostate. The Longbishu capsule had the same effect as the middle-dose YQHXXZF. As the dose increased, the area of acinar and interstitium decreased accordingly. TFF2, Wnt4, and Wnt6 were significantly increased in the model control group, while decreased to varying degrees in each treatment group. The effect of YQHXXZF in the mid-dose and high-dose groups was stronger than that of the Longbishu group, and the effect of reducing the expression levels of TFF2 and Wnt4 increased with the dose. Conclusion This study found that YQHXXZF may reduce the acinar area and interstitial area of the prostate, improve the pathological changes of the prostate tissue, and play a role in treating GPH. Objective: To investigate the effect of transurethral plasma enucleation of prostate (TUERP) on urodynamics, sexual function and quality of life in patients with massive prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods: The clinical data of 118 patients with BPH in our hospital from April 2016 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. According to the different operation methods, they were divided into transurethral resection of prostate (TURP) group (n=57, TURP treatment) and TURP group (n=61, TURP treatment). The perioperative indexes, urodynamics, sexual function and quality of life of the patients in the two groups were compared, and the results were recorded Occurrence of the disease. Results: The bladder washing time operation time and catheter retention time of tuerp group were shorter than those of TURP group, and the amount of intraoperative bleeding was less than that of TURP group (P<0.05); the amount of prostatectomy and bladder tissue resection of tuerp group was more than that of TURP group (P<0.05). The maximum urinary flow (Qmax), scores of physiological function, physical pain, social function, emotional function, general health, physiological function, vitality and mental health were increased in the two groups 6 months after operation, and the score of TUPR group was higher than that of TURP group (P<0.05); the residual urine volume (PVR) was decreased, and the score of TUPR group was lower than that of TURP group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in TURP group was lower than that in TURP group (P<0.05). The number of erectile dysfunction and retrograde ejaculation in the TUPR group was lower than that in the TURP group (P<0.05). Conclusion: compared with TURP, TURP can effectively improve the perioperative indexes, urodynamics, sexual function and quality of life of patients with BPH, reduce the incidence of complications, and have higher clinical application value. To explore the safety and effectiveness of the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients undergoing transurethral selective greenlight photoselective vaporization of prostate(PVP). From June 2018 to October 2019, 61 patients with prostatic hyperplasia were treated by transurethral selective greenlight photoselective vaporization of prostate PVP in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology. Among them, 30 patients (ERAS group) were managed in perioperative period with ERAS of accelerated rehabilitation, and 31 patients (control group) were managed in traditional perioperative period. The time of operation, visual analogue score (VAS) at 6h after operation, WBC count at the 1 d after operation, time of first exhaust after operation,international prostate symptom score (IPSS), quality of life (QOL) score, maximum urine flow rate (Qmax), time of indwelling catheter after operation,length of stay in hospital and complications within 3 months after discharge were compared between the two groups. There were significant differences in VAS score, postoperative exhaust time, indwelling catheter time and average hospital stay time between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in IPSS, QOL and Qmax between the two groups (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups (P>0.05). The application of ERAS in the perioperative management of transurethral selective greenlight photoselective vaporization of prostate PVP can meet the requirements of safety and effectiveness, help to relieve the early postoperative pain, shorten the time of intestinal recovery and hospitalization, and enable patients to discharge and recover faster. Objective To study the chemical components and formation causes of 86 cases of prostatic calculi. Methods Infrared spectroscopic analysis was used to analyze the chemical components of 86 cases of prostatic calculi, and the clinical data were combined to analyze the formation causes of prostatic calculi. Results In 86 cases of prostatic calculi, mixed calculi, simple calculi, calcium oxalate stone, carbonate apatite, magnesium ammonium phosphate stones, uric acid calculi accounted for 80.2%, 19.8%, 70.9%, 68.6%, 53.4% and 7.0%, respectively. 85 specimens were taken from patients with prostatic hyperplasia and 1 from patients with prostate cancer. 63 patients suffered from urinary tract infection, 21 cases with urethral stricture and 3 patients with bladder calculi. Conclusions There are statistically significant difference in the chemical components between prostatic calculi and upper and lower urinary calculi.
