With the outbreak of COVID-19, there are a lot of medical protective substances in short supply. In order to further understand the performance indexes of medical nonwoven mask materials in terms of protection, comfort and so on, and reduce the huge pressure on environmental protection caused by disposable mask abandonment, combined with the relevant standards of medical mask, this paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of common raw materials, degradable fiber raw materials and elastic raw materials of medical mask nonwovens in terms of protection, comfort and degradability. At the same time, the production technology and post-treatment technology of electrostatics meltblown nonwovens, spunbond nonwovens and SMS composite nonwovens are discussed in detail.
