According to RO-mixed bed craft, the latest technology of the ultrapure water preparation, the distributed II O and S7-400H centralized monitoring was used to design the control system. On the basis of this choice, we adopt S7-400H hardware redundancy to ensure the reliability and stability of the system. The control system was constructed by a typical three-layer network : the DeviceNet, the control layer, the management and monitoring layer based on Siemens configuration software WinCC. Meanwhile, through OPC configuration, data from Ultrapure water control system can be upload to the whole plant control system. As a subsystem of the whole plant control system, it is convenient to the enterprise management. The control system hardware design, software programming and upper monitoring system based on Intouch configuration software were provided. After four years of actual operation, this ultrapure water automation system work stable and reliable, completely meet the requirements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
