The study was to investigate the effect of lignin polyphenols and copper-zinc cross-linking substance combined supplementation on growth performance, immunity and copper, zinc deposition of weaned piglets. Ninety-six healthy weaned piglets (Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire) with similar body weight were selected and randomly divided into three groups, with four replicates in each group and eight pigs in each replicate. The control group piglets were fed with basal diet + 2 kg/t zinc oxide + 100 g/t chlortetracycline + 40 g/t colistin, T1 group piglets were fed with basal diet + 1 kg/t lignin polyphenols + 700 g/t copper-zinc cross-linking substance, T2 group piglets were fed with basal diet + 2 kg/t lignin polyphenols + 700 g/t copper-zinc cross-linking substance. The pre-feeding period lasted for 7 d, the formal experiment lasted for 28 d. The results showed that compared with control group, the average daily feed intake and average daily gain of piglets in T2 group were slightly increased ( P>0.05), the average daily feed intake of T1 group was significantly decreased (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in feed to gain ratio and diarrhea rate of piglets among all groups (P>0.05). Compared with control group, the content of IFN-γ in serum of piglets in T1 group was significantly decreased (P<0.05). Compared with control group and T1 group, the content of C4 in serum of piglets in T2 group was significantly increased and significantly higher than that in T1 group ( P<0.05), the content of DLA in serum of piglets in T2 group was significantly decreased and significantly lower than that in T1 group (P<0.05). Compared with control group, the content of zinc in serum and feces of piglets in T1 group and T2 group were significantly decreased ( P<0.05). The study indicates that the combined addition of 2 kg/t lignin polyphenols and 700 g/t copper-zinc cross-linking substance to weaned piglet diet to replace the combination of high zinc and antibiotics can maintain the normal growth performance of weaned piglets, improve immunity, significantly reduce the excretion of zinc in the feces. OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy and safety of Jinchan Zhiyang capsules in the treatment of acute eczema (damp-heat and interior-retention syndrome). METHODS: Totally 46 patients with cutaneous pruritus of acute eczema admitted into Jiangbei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Mar. 2020 to Mar. 2021 were selected and divided into treatment group and control group via random number table, with 23 cases in each group. The control group was given patient education supplemented by zinc ointment for external use, while the treatment group was given Jinchan Zhiyang capsules based on the control group. Changes in pruritus (VRS) and skin lesion (EASI) scores among before treatment, after 2 weeks of treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment were compared between two groups, and the incidences of adverse drug reactions was collected. RESULTS: Compared with before treatment, the VRS and ESAI scores of the treatment group were significantly lower after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0. 05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95. 7% (22/23), which was significantly higher than that of the control group (73. 9%, 17/23); after 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95. 7% (22/23), which was significantly higher than that of the control group (78. 3%, 18/23), with statistically significant differences (P <0. 05). The overall incidence of adverse drug reactions of the treatment group was 8. 7% (2/23), which was slightly higher than that of the control group (4. 3%, 1/23), but the difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0. 05), and all were tolerable. 【Objective】This experiment was conducted to study on excretion of feed zinc in feces and urine of growing pigs and establish the prediction model of zinc intake and zinc excretion.【Method】A total of 20 healthy castrated Yorkshire growing pigs with similar weight were randomly allotted to 5 dietary treatments with 4 replicates in each treatment and 1 pig in each replicate, animals were individually housed in cages. In 5 treatments, control group A was fed a basal diet without zinc supplementation, test group B, C, D, E were fed basal diet supplemented with 20, 40, 60 and 80 mg/kg zinc as zinc sulfate, respectively. The pre-test period lasted for 7 days, and the experimental period lasted for 4 days.【Result】(i) The fresh fecal zinc content and air-dry fecal zinc content in experimental groups were higher than that in control group, with feed zinc supplementation levels being increased, both tended to be higher in the experimental groups. Fresh fecal zinc content, air-dry fecal zinc content and daily fecal zinc excretion in experimental group C and D were significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05). Regression analysis demonstrated that there was extremely significant linear regression relationship between feed zinc supplementation levels or feed zinc total levels and air-dry fecal content(P<0.01), in addition, there was significant linear regression relationship between feed zinc supplementation levels or feed zinc total levels and daily fecal zinc excretion(P<0.05). Therefore, regression equations could be established for prediction and control.(ii) There were no significant differences in urinary zinc content and daily urinary zinc excretion among all groups(P>0.05). Regression analysis demonstrated that there was no significant regression relationship between feed zinc supplementation levels or feed zinc total levels and urinary zinc content or daily urinary zinc excretion(P>0.05).【Conclusion】 Under the condition of this trial, there was significant linear regression relationship between feed zinc supplementation levels or feed zinc total levels and air-dry fecal content or daily fecal zinc excretion, while there was no significant regression relationship between feed zinc supplementation levels or feed zinc total levels and urinary zinc content or daily urinary zinc excretion, because feed excess zinc was excreted mainly from feces though digestive tract.
