With the large-scale emission of automobile exhaust, in order to prevent pollution of the atmosphere, it is more and more important to detect the exhaust gas. In order to automatically detect the blackness of automobile exhaust, this paper designs and implements a system for detecting Ringelmann number using image processing method for automobile exhaust. The Ringelmann number of automobile exhaust is obtained by photographing the automobile exhaust. At the same time, the detection result can be sent to the mobile phone APP through the 4G network, and the mobile terminal can also control the detection system to take photos, get analysis results and print the report. This research provides a feasible solution for vehicle exhaust blackness detection, which has certain practical significance.

Aiming at the problem of tang-distance laser receiving and alignment, a laser bridge system using large area avalanche photo diode is proposed in this paper, which can be used as the extension of Wide Area Network (WAN)and the connection between Local Area Networks(LAN). The software of the laser bridge system needs a computer as a server for information processing. The hardware connection is realized through the switch and electro-optic conversion, and based on two-way laser lenses placed m two buildings for transmitting and receiving signal. The distance between the two buildings is about 1 km, and the geometric loss of the laser is about 26 dB/km. By adjusting the restive position of the two lasers until the optical power received is ISS than -30 dBm, the threshold optical power required is realized, which can perform two-way video communication successfully. The qualitative behavior and solitary wave solutions to the model equation for shallow water waves of moderate amplitude were studied with the bifurcation method for dynamic systems. The phase portraits of the system were given under different parametric conditions. The implicit expressions of the smooth solitary waves, cuspons and periodic wave solutions were obtained. Numerical simulations were conducted for the smooth solitary waves, cuspons and periodic wave solutions to the model equation. The article presents a study which examines the effect of p15 protein on the proliferation and telomerase activity of the chicken lymphoblastoid cell line called MDCC-MSB1. Researchers develop a recombinant eukaryon expression vector to analyze the MDCC-MSB1's p15 protein expression, proliferation ability, cell cycle phases, and telomerase activity. Results show the ability of expressed p15 protein to suppress the proliferation and telomerase activity of MDCC-MSB1.

Ulcerative colitis(UC) is a continuous inflammatory bowel disease with the main clinical manifestations of abdominal pain, diarrhea, and mucous bloody stools, mainly attacking the colorectal mucosa and submucosa. It is characterized by high recurrence rate, difficult cure, and clustering and regional occurrence. Chinese medicinal prescriptions for the treatment of UC have good therapeutic effect, multi-target regulation, slight toxicity, and no obvious side effects. In particular, the classical prescriptions highlight the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine theory and have attracted much attention in recent years. To enable researchers to timely and comprehensively understand the classical prescriptions in the treatment of UC, we reviewed the studies about the pharmacodynamic material basis, quality control, action mechanism, and clinical application of relevant classical prescriptions. We first introduced the latest research progress in the active components such as alkaloids, polysaccharides, saponins, and flavonoids in relevant classical prescriptions. Then, we reviewed the latest research achievements on the quality control of classical prescriptions for the treatment of UC by gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and the like. Further, we summarized the research advances in the mechanisms of relevant prescriptions in the treatment of UC based on network pharmacology, molecular docking, integrated pharmacology platform, and animal experiments. Finally, we generalized the clinical application of the classical prescriptions for clearing heat and removing dampness, mildly regulating cold and heat, soothing liver and regulating spleen, strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi, and tonifying spleen and stomach. By systematic summary of the research progress in relevant classical prescriptions, we hope to promote the application and development of such prescriptions in UC treatment.

By using stable isotope techniques, we analyzed the carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratios of Rhopilema esculentum Kishinouye and its potential feed materials in Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea, aiming to identify potential food sources and trophic levels of R. esculentum . The results showed that the δ 13 C and δ 15 N values for R. esculentum ranged from -20.27‰ to -23.06‰ (ave raged at -21.33‰), and from 6.82‰ to 10.03‰ (averaged at 8.25‰), respectively. The main food sources for R. esculentum included suspended materials, phytoplankton, fish eggs, zooplankton (≤1000 μm), zooplankton (1000-1500 μm), zooplankton (>1500 μm), among which, zooplankton (≤1000 μm) was the most important food source and contributed 71%-88% of the total food sources, followed by zooplankton (>1500 μm) (6%-19%), zooplankton (1000-1500 μm) (0%-22%), suspended materials (0%-10%), phytoplankton(0%-8%) and fish eggs (0%-2%). A Pearson correlation test indicated that there was significant negative relationship between the diameter and δ 13 C value of R. esculentum (P<0.05), while no significant correlation was found between its diameter and δ 15 N value (P>0.05). The trophic level of R. esculentum ranged from 2.79 to 3.88 depending on diameter classes,with a mean valu of 3.28 These results indicated that R. esculentum plays a key role in controlling microzooplankton in the Liaodong Bay, which is significant for providing deeper understanding into the tropic structure of biological communities as well as into the material cycles and energy flow of entire ecosystem in the Liaodong Bay.

Objective: To introduce the Item Function Analysis(IFA) of Quality of Life- Alzheimer's disease(QOL-AD)Chinese version and to explore the feasibility of its application on Chinese patients with AD., Methods: Two hundred AD patients were interviewed and assessed by QOL-AD, through the stratified cluster sampling method. Multilog 7.03. was used for Item Function Analysis. Difference scale(a), difficulty scale(b)and Item Characteristic Curve(ICC) of each item of QOL-AD were provided., Results: Different scales of the item 1, 7 were below 0.6, while all the others were above 0.6. As for ICC. The first and last lines for the other items were monotonic in which the two in between were in inverted V-shape, with very steep slopes, except for the item 1 and 7., Conclusion: Results form the IFA showed that QOL-AD was applicable to be used in the Chinese patients with AD.

Objective: To explore the determinants of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients with depression., Methods: The degree of depression on AD patients was assessed by the geriatric depression scale. Improved cumulative logistic regression (ICLR) was used to analyze the determinants of AD patients with depression., Results: 196 AD patients were investigated. Among the 196 AD patients, there were 60 (30.6%) males and 136 (69.4%) females, at 58 - 89 years of age (72.3 ± 6.0). Physical activity, diabetes, MoCA, hearing, economic sources and alcohol were related to the degree of depression of AD patients (P < 0.10). The difference between "normal" and "mild depression" was smaller than difference between "mild depression" and "severe depression"., Conclusion: AD patients with mild depression were the target population for prevention and they were influenced by several factors listed above.

Objective: To investigate the current status and influencing factors regarding quality of life among patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD)., Methods: Through stratified cluster sampling method, two hundred patients with AD and their caregivers were chosen and interviewed. AD patients were assessed by questionnaires, Montreal Cognitive Assessment, and Quality of Life-Alzheimer's Disease (QOL-AD), in order to compare the reports from patients and caregivers on QOL-AD and to analyze related influencing factors. Descriptive analysis, paired t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson's correlation and multiple linear regression were performed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)., Results: The scores of reports from patients (28.78 ± 4.30) were lower than that from the caregivers' (30.05 ± 6.05). The difference was statistically significant (t = 2.122, P < 0.05) and was positively correlated (r = 0.312, P < 0.001). Data from multivariate analysis showed that cognitive level (t = 3.465, P = 0.001), marriage relationship (t = 3.062, P = 0.003), having public activities (t = 2.581, P = 0.011), personal characters (t = 2.254, P = 0.026), restricted diet pattern (t = 3.614, P < 0.001), regularly drinking tea (t = 2.652, P = 0.009) and doing housework (t = 3.180, P = 0.002) were predictive factors., Conclusion: Scores from the caregiver's report on QOL-AD were higher than that from the patients'. Many factors influenced the quality of life on AD patients. Strategies on improving the quality of life among AD patients can be developed based on the findings of this study.

Objective: To construct a high-throughput suspension microarray for detecting the hotspot gene mutations of p53, p16, retinoblastoma (Rb) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and to investigate the significance of this multimarker panel in molecular diagnosis of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC)., Methods: The specific probes of normal or mutated sequences targeting the hotspot mutation sites of p53, p16, Rb and EGFR were designed and immobilized to carboxylated Luminex microspheres (micro-beads). Genomic DNA was extracted from 65 specimens of cancer tissues and 20 adjacent normal lung tissues. p53, p16, Rb and EGFR genes were amplified by PCR, hybridized with the specific probes on the beads and measured using Luminex 100., Results: The single gene mutations of p53, p16, Rb or EGFR in NSCLC specimens were 53.8% (35/65), 20.0% (13/65), 7.7% (5/65) or 35.4% (23/65) respectively. The para-tumor normal tissue specimens were 5.0% (1/20), 5.0%(1/20), 0 and 0 respectively. For combined detections of four genes, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 81.5% (53/65), 90.0% (18/20) and 83.5%(71/85) respectively. The mutation rates of this panel in stage I, stage II and stage III were 78.3% (18/23), 80.0% (16/20) and 86.4% (19/22) respectively., Conclusions: A high-throughput suspension microarray with a higher specificity and sensitivity has been built. It may be used to simultaneously detect the gene mutations of p53, p16, Rb or EGFR in NSCLC specimens. This suspension microarray is helpful to improve the sensitivity of molecular diagnosis of NSCLC and guide the molecular targeting therapy of NSCLC.

Papillon-Lefevre syndrome (PLS) is an extremely rare inherited disease as an autosomal recessive trait. The disorder is characterized by diffuse palmoplantar keratoderma and premature loss of both deciduous and permanent teeth. This paper described a case of PLS with classic clinical features and briefly reviewed the relevant literature.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of the digital cytopathological lung cancer diagnosing system (DCLCDS) utilizing the latest computer technologies (including reinforcement learning, image segmentation and classifier) and the cytopathological knowledge on lung cancer cells., Methods: Separate the overlapped lung cancer cells in a slice image applying the improved deBoor-Cox B-Spline algorithm; Segment cell regions in a slice image using an image segmentation algorithm based on reinforcement learning; Ensemble different classifiers, including Decision Tree classifier, Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier and Bayesian classifier, to achieve an accurate result of cytopathological lung cancer diagnosis., Results: The accurate diagnosis rate for lung cancer identification of 224 images of small lung lesions aspiration biopsy from 120 cases randomly selected was 92.3%. The accurate diagnosis rate for type classification of lung cancer was 82.5%. The identification rate for abnormal nuclear cells was 71.6%., Conclusions: The DCLCDS achieves a high accuracy on cytopathological lung cancer diagnosis by solving some major problems on the cytology smears, including cell overlapping, uneven coloration and impurity. It provides a relatively objective, standard tool on cytopathological lung cancer diagnosis. It has good efficacy on early diagnosis of lung cancer.

Objective: To explore the efficacy of Y-type anatomical plate in patients with distal humeral fracture., Methods: Thirty three patients suffered from comminuted distal humeral fracture undertook the operation. Among them, 15 were supracondyle fracture, and the other 18 were intercondyle fracture. All patients were treated with middle post elbow incision, reposition, and fixed with Y-type anatomical steel plate., Results: All patients were followed up for 16 months after the operation, and all fractures healed. The average healing time was 3. 5 months. The elbow joint function according to Aitken and Rombeck's elbow function rating system was evaluated, and the results were as follows: the function recovery was excellent in 29 patients, good in 2 and fair in the other 2 patients. The excellence rate was 93. 9%., Conclusion: Y-type anatomical steel plate is excellent in the treatment of distal humeral fracture.

Objective: To investigate the changes of the mast cells (MCs) and substance P (SP), and to elucidate their possible roles in visceral hypersensitivity in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)., Methods: In 22 diarrhea-predominant IBS, 20 constipation-predominant IBS and 19 controls, the biopsies were carried out from the terminal ileum, the ileocecal junction, the ascending colon, and the sigmoid colon. The MCs and the SP-ergic nerve terminals, SP receptor (SPR) cells were stained by histochemistry and immunohistochemistry respectively, and the results were investigated qualitatively and quantitatively by color image analyzer. The biopsies of the ICJ and the sigmoid colon were measured by radioimmunoassay. The structure relation between the MCs and SP-ergic terminals, SPR-ergic cells were studied through an ultramicroscopy using in situ embedding technique and a light microscopic study in serial sections respectively., Results: The number of MCs in the terminal ileum, the ileocecal junction, and the ascending colon were significantly elevated in IBS patients (P < 0.01), and the MCs in IBS have great variations. Significantly increased the SP-ergic nerve terminals were found in patients with IBS of intestine compared with the control. The correlation between mucosal MC and the SP-ergic nerve terminals was found, and MCs were close to these terminals in lamina propria, which were demonstrated SP-ergic nerve terminals. Some MCs were demonstrated to be SPR-positive cells., Conclusions: The MCs and SP of intestinal mucosa may play a central role in the gut hypersensitivity in both motor response and visceral perception in IBS.
