The effect of addition of different levels of lotus leaf powder on the flavor of dried minced pork slices (DMPS) was studied by examining its sensory flavor attributes, flavor substances, lipid and protein oxidation levels, Maillard reaction degree, and microstructure. The results showed that addition of lotus leaf powder significantly affected the flavor of DMPS. Addition of lotus leaf powder at 0.2% and 0.4% improved the flavor of DMPS by inhibiting the oxidation of lipids and proteins and consequently reducing the contents of the fat rancidity flavor compounds hexanal and nonanal, and the fishy odor compound trimethylamine. The generation of phenethyl alcohol, (E)-2-hexenal, and methyl acetate provided DMPS with a delicate fragrance of lotus. However, adding 0.6% or 0.8% lotus leaf powder significantly decreased the contents of sweet amino acids and the umami taste intensity of DMPS, and exacerbated lipid and protein oxidation by disrupting the microstructure of DMPS. Furthermore, lotus leaf powder suppressed the production of volatile heterocyclic compounds in DMPS by inhibiting the Maillard reaction. Therefore, addition of an appropriate amount of lotus leaf powder could effectively improve the flavor of DMPS.

China has abundant coalbed methane (CBM) resources, and most of them are low-permeability and tight reservoirs, with generally low production rate and small recovery factor. Existing technologies face great challenges to meet the demand on CBM in China. It is desirable to develop new methods to improve the production rate and enhance recovery factor. In addition to physical stimulation methods such as hydraulic fracturing and open-hole cave completion, the use of chemical methods to improve physical properties of coal reservoirs has also been a hot research topic in recent years. Coal reservoir acidification and oxidation technology can promote desorption of gas and enlarge permeability of reservoir. But for different coal rank coal reservoirs, the acidification and oxidation agents need to be optimized and their performance evaluated. Laboratory experiments are conducted to compare and analyze the physical properties coal samples from Baode, Mu’ai, and Xinjiang blocks, including coal rank, texture, macroscopic characteristics, quality, porosity, permeability, element, and mineral composition. The optimal concentration of hydrochloric acid is determined through pre-dissolution experiment of coal powder in acid solution. Then a five-factor and three-level orthogonal experiment for acid solution optimization is designed and performed by using Design-Expert software, which identifies the sensitive factors affecting the dissolution. For the coal samples in Baode, Mu’ai, and Xinjiang blocks, the oxidant types and the corresponding acidification and oxidation agent systems are optimized. Applying these acidification and oxidation agent systems to coal samples from Baode, Mu’ai, and Xinjiang blocks, the change of porosity, permeability, and wettability are compared and analyzed. Finally, through numerical simulation, the gas production is predicted for acidification and oxidation in typical well group in Block Mu’ai. Results show that the acid solution has the best dissolution at a concentration of hydrochloric acid of 3 mol/L to 4 mol/L; Top factors played in the experiment are soaking time, acid type, soaking temperature, coal sample type, and acid concentration, in descending order of importance; The optimal oxidant is a hydrogen peroxide solution with a concentration of 3%; the mixed acidification oxidant formula in Baode block is 10% HCl + 2% CH3COOH + 2% HF + 3% H2O2; The optimal mixed acidification oxidant formula in Mu’ai block is 8% HCl + 2% CH3COOH + 4% HF + 3% H2O2; the optimal mixed acidification oxidant formula in Xinjiang block is 12% HCl + 1% CH3COOH + 1% HF + 3% H2O2; The higher the coal rank, the greater the HF content in the optimal acidification oxidant system. Both acidification and oxidation improve the porosity and permeability of coal samples to some extent, and the improvement in low-rank coal is more significant than that in high-rank coal. Acidification and oxidation have different effects on the wettability of coal: Acidification increases the hydrophilicity of coal, whereas oxidation reduce the hydrophilicity of coal; and the hydrophilicity of coal samples treated by the optimized acidification and oxidation system is weakened. Reservoir simulation results show that acidification and oxidation lead to a recovery factor of 64.64% after 10 years of production, which is 19.72% higher than that without acidification and oxidation. The advantage of acidification and oxidation is 0.97% after 18 years of production. However, the acidification and oxidation saved 8 years of production time to achieve a close final recovery factor, which greatly reduces the operating costs. The optimized acidizing oxidation agent systems for CBM reservoirs with low, medium, and high ranks improved the desorption and permeability of the target reservoirs, and increase well production and recovery factor. This research provides technical support for stimulation practices of CBM reservoirs in the aforementioned blocks in China, as well as similar coal reservoirs in the world.

This paper summarized the nursing of sulfonamide-allergic patient with with Pneumocystis carinii infection after liver transplantation. The patient was given Sulfonamide desensitization treatment. Based on the risk analysis, comprehensive interventions such as illness condition observation, medication care, symptoms observation, nebulizer therapy, sputum excretion, effective respiratory function and rehabilitation exercise and psychological care were carried out. Disinfection and isolation measures for carbapenems-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) were developed to improve the recovery of the patient. The fruits of 12 blueberry varieties cultivated in the open field in southern Liaoning such as 'Bluegold', 'Reka', 'N5' were used as test materials. The best varieties for processing were selected through the analysis of fruit appearance, nutritional quality and processing performance indexes. The results showed that the blueberry fruit was mainly blue, flat spherical in varying degrees with bloom, and the single fruit weight was 0.95~2.63 g. The fruit contained more than 80% water, the larger the fruit the higher the water content, and the more flat. The fruit contained fructose, glucose, oxalic acid, quinic acid, malic acid, shikimic acid and citric acid. The content of fructose was equal to that of glucose, and the content of citric acid was significantly higher than that of other organic acids (P90 mg∙g−1), organic acid content (>10 mg∙g−1) and juice yield (>74.6%) of 'Sunrise', 'Bluegold' and 'Patroit' were higher, which were better processed varieties. In conclusion, the fruits of 'Sunrise', 'Bluegold' and 'Patroit' were rich in nutrition and high juice yield. They were ideal raw materials for processing.

As a product with the characteristics of low cost, convenient construction and reliable performance, Bow-type drop cable has been widely used in Fiber To The Home (FTTH) project. However, the emergence of a variety of new application scenarios has brought new development in technologies for Bow-type drop cable. According to the revision of the standard YD/T 1997.1 for Bow-type drop cable, this paper comprehensively describes some new developments in new structure, new material and product performance of Bow-type drop cable in recent years.

“The Expert Group on Tumor Ablation Therapy of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, The Tumor Ablation Committee of Chinese College of Interventionalists, The Society of Tumor Ablation Therapy of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and The Ablation Expert Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology” have organized multidisciplinary experts to formulate the consensus for thermal ablation of pulmonary subsolid nodules or ground-glass nodule (GGN). The expert consensus reviews current literatures and provides clinical practices for thermal ablation of GGN. The main contents include: (1) clinical evaluation of GGN, (2) procedures, indications, contraindications, outcomes evaluation and related complications of thermal ablation for GGN and (3) future development directions.

Objective To investigate the clinical features, diagnosis and surgical treatment of intracranial fungal infections of sinonasal origin. Methods and Results In this retrospective study, clinical data of 15 cases who were diagnosed as intracranial fungal infection from November 2004 to July 2019 at Department of Neurosurgery, Beijing Tongren Hospital were analyzed. Nine cases have a history of paranasal sinus surgery. Headache and visual disturbance were major presenting clinical features. Neurosurgical operations were performed in 14 patients: 8 cases were operated by the transcranial approach (2 cases by eyebrow incision), 4 cases by endoscopic sinus surgery, 2 cases by combined approach. Lumbar cistern drainage was performed in one case. All 15 patients were treated with antifungal treatment. Intracranial fungal granuloma (IFG) was in 9 cases, intracranial fungal abscess in 4 cases, diffuse fungal meningitis in 2 cases. Total resection was performed in 3 cases and subtotal resection was in 7 cases, and partial resection or biopsy was in 4 cases. Diagnosis of intracranial fungal infection was established by the histopathological analysis and/or fungal cultures. Aspergillus (10 cases) was the most common pathogen, followed by Candida albicans (3 cases), and Mucor (2 cases). During a follow⁃up period of 6 months to 14 years, 2 cases recurred and reoperated, 3 cases died. Conclusions Intracranial fungal infections of sinonasal origin may take the form of fungal granuloma or abscess formation. The morbidity and mortality are high. Aspergillus is the most common pathogen. Headache is the most common symptom. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult. The drainage of sinuses should be unobstructed. Frozen pathological examination during the operation can make a clear diagnosis in the early stage. Long⁃term antifungal treatment and long⁃term follow⁃up are needed after the operation. A modified SVM multi-classification algorithm integrated with discriminant analysis (D-SVM) was pro-posed,which could solve the problem of low detection accuracy and high false alarm rate caused by unbalanced datasets.For a multi-classification problem could be divided into several binary classification problems,D-SVM could not only have the virtue of high detection accuracy,but also have a low false alarm rate even confronted with unbalanced datasets.Experiments based on KDD99 dataset verify the feasibility and validity of the integrated ap-proach.Results show that when confronted with multi-classification problems,D-SVM could achieve a high detec-tion accuracy and low false alarm rate even when SVM alone fails because of the unbalanced datasets.

In allusion to problems that liquid level sensor for mine-used diesel vehicle cannot dynamically adjust alarm height of remaining water level of tank and has poor reliability, the paper proposed a design scheme of a new passive liquid level sensor. The sensor uses passive devices such as reed switch and resistor arrays to realize continuous monitoring of water level of tank, which can set the alarm depth and has good reliability and high temperature performance.

For problems of single function and poor function-expanding caused by centralized control mode of current protection device of mine-used diesel locomotive, the paper put forward a design scheme of novel protection device of mine-used diesel locomotive based on CAN bus and introduced software and hardware designs of the protection device in details. Components of the protection device adopts distributed control mode and exchange data through CAN bus. The protection device can realize monitoring functions of operating parameters of mine-used diesel locomotive such as rotational speed, speed, oil pressure, gas concentration and so on, and functions of acousto-optic alarming, fault detection and pre-alarming, and has perfect function-expanding performance, which provides a completed resolution for explosion-proof diesel locomotive.

This article expounds the main points of the design of wool/acrylic/nylon/metallic fiber blended yarn through the aspects of the choice of raw material, blending ratio, yarn's line density and twist. The results show that the effects of reasonable distribution of wool, acrylic, nylon and metallic fiber in blended yarn's cross section is attained with the difference of linear density among four kinds of fibers. The key technology of this blended yarn is that false-mix is used repeatedly in order that low proportional metallic fiber is mixed with others fully. To prevent disease spreading during the COVID-19 epidemic, Shenzhen adopted lockdown measures in March of 2022. This provided an opportunity to study the response of changes in anthropogenic volatile organic compounds (AVOCs) in Shenzhen to emission reduction and to evaluate the effectiveness of current emission reduction measures. This study analyzed the variety of AVOCs before, during, and after the epidemic lockdown based on the online observation data of pollutants at Lianhua Station in Shenzhen from March 7, 2022 to March 27, 2022. Additionally, the sensitivity of ozone formation and the assessment of the reduction effect of precursors was conducted by an observation based model(OBM). The results showed that:affected by regional influences and the interference of meteorological conditions, the average value of AVOCs in Shenzhen urban areas did not drop significantly during the lockdown period compared to that before the lockdown. However, the peak of AVOCs at the morning peak time under the influence of "sea and land wind" during the epidemic lockdown period dropped by 46% on average compared with that during the non-lockdown period, and the aromatic hydrocarbon component dropped the most by 59%. Additionally, under the influence of continuous easterly wind, or during the accumulation and increase of AVOCs affected by regional transmission, aromatic components also decreased by an average of 25% and 21%, respectively. During the lockdown period of the epidemic in Shenzhen, the O 3 formation in urban areas was still AVOCs-limited. Increasing the emission reduction ratio of AVOCs was the most effective measure to reduce O 3 in the short term. In order to ensure the effectiveness of emission reduction, it was recommended that the coordinated emission reduction ratio of AVOCs and NO x should be greater than 1:2. It was only possible to enter the downward channel of O 3 if the deep emission reduction was more than 60%. This study revealed that the emission reduction of AVOCs during the morning traffic peak during the epidemic lockdown period was conducive to inhibiting the formation of O 3 , whereas the control of NO x would promote it. Strengthening the control of local aromatic hydrocarbon components during the regional impact process could also significantly reduce O 3 production. At this stage, Shenzhen should strengthen the management and control of industrial solvents, especially to reduce the aromatic hydrocarbon components in the solvent source that have a greater impact on the generation of O 3 . Further, Shenzhen should continue to promote the reform of the energy structure of motor vehicles to reduce the emission of VOCs in fuel combustion.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are the key precursors of the ozone (O 3 ) formation processes in the troposphere and are important control objects for the coordinated governance of O 3 and PM 2.5 . The Spring Festival of 2020 was affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pneumonia epidemic:companies stopped work and production, and traffic was restricted, providing scientific experimentation opportunities for pollutant emission reduction research. This study analyzed the variety of the composition, chemical reaction activity, and sources of VOCs in the Pearl River Delta during the Spring Festival and the epidemic control period, using real-time online monitoring data of VOCs obtained at four sites(Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, and Duanfen)in the Pearl River Delta from January 1, 2020 to February 29, 2020. The results showed that during the Spring Festival and the epidemic control period, the average of φ (VOCs) in the Pearl River Delta was 15.89×10 -9 , and the maximum hourly average concentration was 45.43×10 -9 , values that were 44% and 60% lower, respectively, than those before the Spring Festival holiday. Among the VOCs component concentration decreases, the aromatic hydrocarbon component decreased the most, and the decrease in the urban area of the Pearl River Delta (74%) was significantly greater than that in the suburban area (56%). As a result, the contribution rate of aromatic hydrocarbons to the total VOCs was reduced to less than 10%. The analysis of the·OH reaction activity of VOCs( L ·OH )and ozone formation potential(OFP)showed that the L ·OH and OFP of VOCs decreased significantly in the Pearl River Delta during the Spring Festival and the epidemic control period. Compared with those before the Spring Festival holiday, the total L ·OH and total OFP decreased by an average of 60% and 63% in the urban area of the Pearl River Delta, respectively. Additionally, the atmospheric oxidation had also been significantly reduced, which showed a 28% decrease in ρ (O x ). The ratio of toluene/benzene showed that the influence of industrial sources had almost disappeared during the Spring Festival and the epidemic control period, and the total points of the representative components of industrial-related solvent-use sources such as toluene, ethylbenzene, and m/p -xylene dropped by 72% to 91%. The results of this study suggest that solvent-use sources and vehicle exhaust emission sources are the current sources of VOCs that need to be paid attention to in the prevention and control of O 3 pollution in the Pearl River Delta region, and the impact of petrochemical sources cannot be ignored in the work of further reducing the background concentration of O 3 .

To reveal the speciation and pollution status of heavy metal(loid) s (HMs) in the dewatered sewage sludge(SS) of municipal wastewater treatment plants(MWTPs) in China, SS samples were collected from 40 MWTPs located in different regions of China. The total concentrations and geochemical fractions of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn in the SS samples were analyzed. The ecological risks induced by HMs in the SS were assessed based on the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure(TCLP), risk assessment code(RAC), and potential ecological risk index(RI). The median values of HMs in SS followed the order Zn > Cu > Cr > Pb > Ni > As > Cd. The general attainment rates of HMs in SS were satisfactory(>90%). As showed a generally even distribution among all the fractions; Cd and Zn mainly existed in the reducible fraction; Cr mainly occurred in the residual fraction, followed by oxidizable and reducible fractions; Cu mainly occurred in the oxidizable fraction; Ni occurred mainly as exchangeable forms; and Pb mainly occurred in the reducible and residual fractions, with its exchangeable form being the lowest fraction. According to the RAC method, the environmental risks induced by HMs in the SS followed the order Ni > As > Zn > Cd > Cu > Cr > Pb. The ecological risk of Ni was high; Zn, As, and Cd had a medium level of risk; Cr and Cu had a low level of risk; and the risk of Pb was negligible. According to the RI method, Cd and Cu showed the highest potential ecological risk, indicating that these are the primary HM pollutants in the SS. However, if the agricultural application of SS is carried out in accordance with the national standards, the overall level of risk from soil HM pollution is considered relatively low.

As an important precursor of ozone, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have attracted much attention. This study analyzed the temporal variation and composition of atmospheric VOCs in the coastal background of the Pearl River Delta, using real-time online monitoring data of VOCs obtained at the Yangmeikeng Ecological Environment Monitoring Station from August 2019 to July 2020. The major sources of VOCs were identified using a receptor model based on the PMF (positive matrix factorization) and HYSPLIT (hybrid single particle Lagrangian integrated trajectory) models. The results showed that the annual mean concentration of anthropogenic VOCs in the coastal background area of the Pearl River Delta was 9.30×10 -9 (volume fraction). There was obvious seasonal variation of VOCs in this area, with higher values in autumn and winter and lower values in summer. The coastal background area of the Pearl River Delta exhibited a different diurnal variation pattern to that of cities and other backgrounds. While the peak of VOCs concentration mainly occurred in the morning, from 10:00 to 11:00, concentration remained at a low level during the early morning and after 15:00. Ethylene, propylene, toluene, isopentane, isoprene, m / p -xylene, n -butane, and acetylene were the key species that affected the chemical composition of VOCs. The air masses affecting the coastal background area of the Pearl River Delta were mainly short-distance air masses from elsewhere in the province (25%), ocean air masses (27%), coastal air masses (31%), and inland air masses outside the province (17%). Among them, the average concentration of VOCs was lowest under the influence of ocean air masses, which is mainly affected by the mixed source of ship emissions and aging VOCs, gasoline volatilization, and vehicle emissions. In comparison, the concentration level of VOCs increased by 70.1% to 148.8% under the influence of other air masses. The transmission effects of industrial sources, LNG and LPG volatiles, and petrochemical sources were more prominent. Generally, the atmosphere of coastal background areas was severely affected by anthropogenic pollution, especially by air pollution masses transported from the land, while the impact of pollution by ships near shore and tourist traffic cannot be ignored.

Cd has toxic effects on rice seed germination and plant growth, which may eventually lead to decreased yield and excessive Cd content in rice grains. The potential mechanism of S -allyl-L-cysteine (SAC), a natural sulfur compound derived from garlic extract, in alleviating Cd 2+ stress in young roots and buds of rice seedlings was studied by a seed germination experiment. "Zhong zao 35", one of the main rice varieties in Southern China, was selected as the test material. Firstly, the alleviating effect of SAC on Cd 2+ stress in rice seedling roots and buds was studied. Following this, the physiological mechanism of Cd 2+ stress alleviation by SAC was examined based on the expression of the Cd transporter coding gene using real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR. The results showed that when the Cd 2+ stress concentration reached 50 μmol·L -1 , the young roots and buds of rice seedlings were significantly inhibited, and when the SAC concentration reached 200 μmol·L -1 , Cd 2+ stress was significantly alleviated. Compared to a Cd 2+ stress treatment group, the total root length, surface area, and volume of young roots was increased by 173.5%, 65.52%, and 37.04%, respectively; CAT and SOD activity in young roots and buds was increased by 212.42% and 110.76%, and 31.41% and 47.31%, respectively; MDA and GSH content was decreased by 43.09% and 34.12%, and 33.97% and 35.74%, respectively; and Cd content was decreased by 35.91% and 28.86%, respectively. The results of quantitative real-time PCR showed that the relative expression levels of OsNramp5 and OsHMA2 were significantly reduced by 33.38% and 34.99% compared with the Cd 2+ stress group, respectively. However, the relative expression level of OsHMA3 was significantly increased by 33.96%. From the above experimental results, the main mechanism by which SAC reduces Cd 2+ stress in the young roots and buds of rice is via the regulation of Cd transporter-encoding genes, reducing Cd 2+ transport to young roots and buds, and increasing transport to vacuoles.

A six-day ozone pollution episode in Guangzhou in early October 2018 was analyzed with the application of a Lagrangian photochemical trajectory model to trace the sources of ozone, quantify the contributions of different regions, and evaluate the effects of emission reduction measures targeted at different emission sectors and different precursors on ozone pollution. The results showed that during the ozone pollution episode, the maximum daily 8 h ozone exceeded 160 μg·m -3 and the highest value reached 271 μg·m -3 . The average concentrations of nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were (77.7±42.8) μg·m -3 and (71.9±56.2) μg·m -3 , respectively. Aromatics and alkenes were the dominant reactive VOCs, with contributions of 38% and 30% to·OH reactivity and 51% and 16% to ozone formation potential, respectively. The ozone pollution in Guangzhou during this episode was affected by three types of air masses, with the primary source regions of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and regions outside Guangdong Province. For all three air mass types, ozone production in these source region was controlled by VOCs. Sensitivity tests showed that, in the primary source regions, reducing the emissions of VOCs is more effective than reducing NO x in terms of reducing ozone concentrations. Under the condition of full emission reduction, regulating traffic emissions could substantially reduce ozone levels by 14.6%-21.0% in Guangzhou, which was a more significant reduction than regulating controlled industry (8.4%-15.3%), power plant (0.9%-6.2%) and residential (2.3%-4.7%) emissions. However, the traffic emission reduction is not as effective (induced ozone reduction<10%) when the emissions reduction ratio is lower than 90%. In addition, biogenic emissions in the Pearl River Delta also substantially contributed to the ozone levels under certain circumstances, as indicated by the ozone reduction up to 19% when biogenic emissions were shut off.

Rice contaminated by Cd has aroused widespread public concern. It is of great importance to find effective ways to reduce Cd translocation from roots to shoots and alleviate Cd stress in rice to ensuring food quality and safety. In this study, 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) was sprayed onto the leaves of rice seedlings to evaluate the feasibility of DMSA reducing Cd translocation to rice shoots and alleviating Cd stress. Therefore, seedlings of Zhongzao 35, one of the main rice cultivars in southern China, were used to study the effects of different concentrations of DMSA on the uptake and transport of Cd in rice seedlings by hydroponics. The effects of DMSA on MDA and GSH content, and activities of antioxidant enzymes such as CAT and SOD in rice seedlings, were also investigated. The results showed that after four iterations of foliar application of DMSA at concentrations of 0.2, 0.4, and 1.0 mmol·L -1 , the Cd concentration in the rice seedling shoots decreased significantly with increasing DMSA spraying concentration. Compared with the control, the Cd concentration in shoots decreased by 22.1%, 39.7%, and 43.5%, respectively, but had no significant effect on the root Cd concentration. There was no significant effect on the concentrations of K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, or Mn in the shoot or root. The content of MDA and GSH in the shoots of rice seedlings decreased significantly after four spraying times of DMSA and the activity of CAT and SOD increased significantly, which shows that spraying DMSA alleviated the stress effect of Cd on rice seedlings. Foliar application of DMSA can significantly reduce the accumulation of Cd in rice shoots but has no significant effect on the content of six common mineral elements, and can effectively relieve the oxidative damage caused by Cd stress. DMSA has the potential to develop a foliar modulator for reducing rice grain Cd content.

Municipal sludge samples (SS) were collected from 46 cities in China in 2016. The forms in which phosphorus occurred in the SS were evaluated using the Standards, Measurements and Testing (SMT) Program. The results showed that the average contents of total phosphorus (TP), inorganic phosphorus (IP), non-apatite inorganic phosphorus (NAIP), apatite phosphorus (AP), organic phosphorus (OP), and bioavailable phosphorus (NAIP+OP) in the SS were (17.32±5.13), (11.71±4.01), (9.18±3.44), (3.03±2.74), (4.54±4.23), and (13.72±4.36) g·kg -1 , respectively. IP was the main form of phosphorus in the SS, accounting for more than 60% of the TP content. NAIP was the main form of IP, accounting for more than 66% of the IP content. There was a highly significant positive correlation between TP and bioavailable phosphorus in the SS ( r =0.942, P <0.01), and bioavailable phosphorus accounted for 66.8%-96.1% of the TP content. The contents of phosphorus in the SS and the amounts of phosphorus discharged via SS disposal showed a decreasing trend from the east to the west of China. In 2016, the amount of phosphorus discharged into the environment via SS disposal amounted to 1.04×10 5 tons, of which 1.95×10 4 t entered the soil through SS land application, 4.69×10 4 t entered landfill sites, 1.47×10 4 t entered building materials, 2.34×10 4 t ended up in incineration ash, and 4.50 t were directly dumped or discarded. The phosphorus content of the SS of China presented a temporal trend of first increasing and then decreasing.

In order to determine the occurrence of mercury (Hg) in the dewatered sewage sludge (SS) from municipal wastewater treatment plants (MWTPs) in China, 315 SS samples were collected from 40 MWTPs. The total Hg (THg) contents of the sludge samples were analyzed using a DMA-80 Hg analyzer. It was found that THg in the samples ranged from 0.45-15.42 mg ·kg -1 . The THg data followed a log-normal distribution with a geometric mean of (2.19±3.16) mg ·kg -1 . THg contents in all the sludge samples meet the criteria set for disposal (by co-landfilling) of MWTPs sludge (GB/T 23485-2009). In terms of THg contents, 97.8% of the sludge was suitable for land application in neutral and alkaline soils, while 86.7% of the sludge was suitable for land application in acidic soil. THg in SS varied greatly, not only among cities (variation coefficient of 105%), but also in the same MWTP (variation coefficient of 0.6%-53.6% over seven days). Mercury contents in SS of China showed a descending trend of North > Northeast > Northwest > Southwest > East > Central > South China. Using the corresponding urban soil background values of THg as references, Hg pollution levels of SS were evaluated using the geological cumulative index method. It was found that SS from more than 60% of the cities sampled were heavily polluted by Hg. Mercury contents in the SS of China showed a temporal trend of increasing then decreasing, with 2000-2009 being the peak period. Results of the present study provide significant data support for the prevention and control of mercury pollution in sewage and SS in China.

In order to obtain the distribution of different species of mercury (Hg) in the water in the Sanmenxia Reservoir, cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectrometry (CVAFS) and aqueous phase ethylation derivatization-gas chromatography-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (GC-CVAFS) methods were used for the analysis of total Hg (THg) and methylmercury (MeHg) in water and sediment samples, respectively. It was found that the levels of THg, dissolved mercury, and particulate mercury in the water ranged from 1.65-9.65, 0.80-3.16, and 0.70-7.81 ng·L -1 , respectively. The THg in the water could meet the requirement for the Class I criterion in the national surface water environmental quality standard (GB 3838-2002). The amounts of MeHg, dissolved MeHg, and particulate MeHg in the water samples were 0.05-0.36, 0.02-0.14, and ND-0.26 ng·L -1 , respectively. No evident seasonal or spatial patterns for Hg were observed. The THg and MeHg in the Sanmenxia Reservoir were within the ranges for those in uncontaminated waterbodies worldwide. The amount of THg in the sediments was (92.96±10.65) ng·g -1 and (80.06±19.14) ng·g -1 , while the amount of MeHg in the corresponding sediment samples was (0.33±0.14) ng·g -1 and (0.50±0.19) ng·g -1 for wet and dry seasons, respectively. The ratios of MeHg/THg in the sediment of the Sanmenxia Reservoir were relatively small in comparison to those in other aqueous systems, indicating that methylation might play a minor role in the biogeochemistry of Hg in the Sanmenxia Reservoir. This might be attributed to the high dissolved oxygen levels of the bottom water and low organic carbon content of the sediments.

Objective: To understand the status of knowledge awareness rates and influencing factors of clonorchiasis among the residents in 4 counties (cities) of Hunan Province, so as to provide the references for formulating the prevention and control strategy of clonorchiasis in the province., Methods: A total of 1 224 subjects were selected by the multi-stage cluster sampling method and investigated with questionnaires and face-to-face interviews., Results: The clonorchiasis knowledge awareness rates of the residents were 15.67% in Yongzhou City, 9.94% in Yueyang City, 13.25% in Wangcheng County, and 21.96% in Tongdao County, respectively. In the whole province, the clonorchiasis knowledge awareness rates of the residents were 44.67%, 56.43%, 60.95%, and 42.46% in the etiology, clinical manifestations, epidemiological characteristics and daily prevention, respectively. The logistic regression showed that the influencing factors of clonorchiasis knowledge awareness rates were the daily dining place, whether or not having the medical personnel in the family, the degree of attention to the relevant news reports, and the history of parasitic diseases., Conclusions: The level of clonorchiasis than that in other areas, but the overall level of clonorchiasis knowledge awareness of the residents in Hunan Province is not high. Therefore, the relevant authority should strengthen the health education in clonorchiasis prevention knowledge including personal daily food hygienic knowledge. knowledge awareness rate of the residents in the west-southern areas of Hunan Province is higher.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of schistosomiasis control in"Oriental Star shipwreck event"in Jianli County, Hubei Province, so as to provide experiences for schistosomiasis prevention and control in rescue of emergency in the future., Methods: According to the data of historical schistosomiasis prevalence and the results of the field survey in the townships in the upstream and downstream of the rescue spots, the emergency handling measures of schistosomiasis control were evaluated. Meanwhile, the Oncomelania hupensis snail situation, priority crowd chemotherapy, key aquatic monitoring, and illness monitoring of people and livestock were investigated to evaluate the schistosomiasis control effect after the events comprehensively., Results: There were no schistosome-infected snails found in the place of shipwreck and the rescue spots. The average density of O. hupensis snails in 5 townships of Jianli County was 0.064 snails/0.1 m 2 , and there were no infected snails found. The positive rate of 2 090 migrants in the schistosomiasis serologic tests was 0.29% and there were no positive ones found in the fecal examination. There were no acute schistosomiasis cases found by the sentinel surveillance fever clinics, and also no positive cattle were found. The results of sentinel mice monitoring in the place of shipwreck and 4 villages in the upstream and downstream showed no infected mice were found., Conclusions: The schistosomiasis control measures taken after the shipwreck is effective, which achieves the goal of no schistosomiasis transmission after emergency.

In order to investigate the occurrence status of mercury in Xiaolangdi Reservoir, water, surface sediments, pore water and fish samples were collected and analyzed for the contents of total mercury (THg) and methylmercury (MeHg). Cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectrometry and aqueous phase ethylation derivatization-gas chromatography-atomic fluorescence spectrometry methods were used for the analysis of THg and MeHg, respectively. Bioaccumulation of THg in fish of Xiaolangdi Reservoir was then discussed. It was found that THg contents in water were 0.71-1.42 ng x L(-1) and 0.90-2.49 ng x L(-1) during dry and wet seasons, respectively, while the MeHg content in water was below the method detection limit. The THg content in water during both seasons could meet the requirement of Class I criterion of national surface water environmental quality standard (GB 3838-2002). The THg contents in sediments were 95.66-172.52 ng x g(-1) and 51.74-90.42 ng x g(-1), while the MeHg contents in the corresponding sediment samples were 0.18-0.39 ng x g(-1) and 0.09-0.26 ng x g(-1) for dry and wet seasons, respectively. The ratios of MeHg/THg in sediment were relatively small in comparison to those in other aqueous systems. This might be attributed to the high dissolved oxygen content of bottom water and low organic carbon content of the sediments. The THg concentrations in pore water of sediments were 5.46-41.04 ng x L(-1) and 4.27-9.49 ng x L(-1), and the MeHg concentrations were 0.07-1.01 ng x L(-1) and 0.09-0.99 ng x L(-1), respectively. The THg concentration was significantly higher than that of the overlying water, indicating the diffusion of Hg from the sediment to the water. The THg concentration in fish muscle tissues varied from 43.47 to 304.98 ng x g(-1), while the MeHg concentration varied from 10.77 to 265.23 ng x g(-1). The MeHg content in fish muscle tissues could meet the requirement of national food safety standards( GB 2762-2012) (Non carnivorous fish 500 ng x g(-1), Carnivorous fish 1 000 ng x g(-1)). The bioaccumulation factors of THg were 1.3 x 10(5) for bighead carp, 9.3 x 10(4) for barracuda, 4.7 x 10(4) for crucian carp, 5.0 x 10(4) for sharpbelly, 1.7 x 10(5) for yellow catfish, and 3.9 x 10(4) for arch fish, respectively.

Objective: To investigate the method of MR guided anterior direct arthrogaphy of shoulder and its clinical applications., Methods: From 2008.4 to 2008.10, 40 patients with rotator-cuff tear (29 males and 11 females, ranging in age from 22 to 70 years, with an average of 35 years) underwent MR guided anterior direct arthrogaphy of shoulder, so as to diagnosis shoulder wound. The results were compared to that of arthroscopy., Results: Shoulder arthrography showed lesons in 36 patients, and failure in 2 patients, including contrast media extravasation in 1 patient, and gas entry to joint cavity in 1 patient. Two patients showed no rotator cuff injuries. Twenty-eight patients were confirmed by arthroscopy as rotator-cuff injured in different degree. Twenty-six patients were confirmed injuries by both arthroscopy and MR guided anterior direct arthrogaphy., Conclusion: MR guided anterior direct arthrogaphy of shoulder as a minimally invasive method in displaying the rotator-cuff tear has higher accuracy and wide clinical application prospect.

Objective: To investigate the phenotypes of T lymphocytes in the intestinal epithelium in cirrhosis., Methods: Forty Wistar rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: cirrhosis group (n = 25) undergoing subcutaneous injection of 40% carbon tetrachloride twice a week for 10-12 weeks to establish cirrhosis models, and control group (n = 15). Twelve weeks later the rats were killed with their levers taken out. The T lymphocytes in the intestinal epithelium were isolated and labeled with mouse anti-rat CD3, CD4 and CD8 monoclonal antibody, Flow cytometry was performed., Results: The number of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes of the cirrhosis group was (3.4 +/- 1.1) x 10(5)/cm, significantly higher than that of the control group [(2.3 +/- 0.5) x 10(5)/cm, P < 0.05]. The proportion of CD3(+) cells of the cirrhosis group were (76 +/- 8)%, not significantly different from that of the control group [(80 +/- 6)%, P > 0.05]. There were no significant different between two group (P > 0.05). The proportion of CD4(+)CD8(+) subpopulation of the cirrhosis group was (6.9 +/- 3.3)%, significantly higher than that of the control group [(3.7 +/- 1.8)%, P < 0.05]. The proportion of CD4(+)CD8(-) subpopulation of the cirrhosis group was (6.9 +/- 3.0)%, significantly higher than that of the control group [(4.4 +/- 1.4)%, P < 0.05]., Conclusion: There were alterations of the immune barrier function in cirrhosis. The increase of the proportion of CD4(+)CD8(+) subpopulation may be associated with the increases of the number of intestinal bacteria.
