The quality of Japanese forensic experts has been widely recognized around the world, which cannot be separated from the “ripple effect” caused by the rapid rise of the modern forensic education in Japan. By continuously adopting foreign forensic education resources and teaching experience, it has finally formed a forensic professional talent training model with a clear hierarchy of basic education and professional training, as well as classroom teaching and case studies complementing each other; and it continuously improves the comprehensive quality of practitioners through domestic training and international exchange and cooperation, providing talented professionals for the development of the Japanese forensic industry. In this context, this article takes the development history of Japanese forensic medicine as the starting point to study how it gradually formed the embryonic form of forensic education in modern times. Based on this, it analyzes the characteristics of Japan’s modern forensic medicine talent training model, summarizes excellent experiences for localized transformation, such as emphasizing the role of practical teaching, exerting the effectiveness of vocational skills training, and promoting international exchange and cooperation, to provide reference and inspiration for the training of relevant professional talents in China.

The construction of emerging engineering education is an important measure to meet the new demands of national strategic development and a new starting point for reform and innovation in engineering education. The Applied Chemistry program at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) leverages the advantages of geology, resources, and environmental disciplines. Through measures such as establishing industry-education integration pathways, leading with exemplary courses, and cultivating practical experiences, the program has explored and practiced an integrated education model that meets the requirements of talent cultivation under the background of emerging engineering education, specifically in the field of applied chemistry. In the last two years,chemical safety accidents occurred frequently,which have brought huge losses to the safety of the state and people’s life and property. There are two reasons for those chemical safety accidents,one of which is the unsafe state of equippment,and the other unsafe behavior of human. According to statistic data,the unsafe behaviors have caused over 80% of the accidents. Therefore,it is a noticeable issue to cultivate professionals for chemical safety so as to take a general control of the accidents. In order to carry out the requirement of the document High Education No.( 2014) 4 and State Administration of Safety Supervision No.( 2015) 70,China University of Petroleum,as a pilot university,has enrolled the first group of post-graduate students( professional) majoring in chemical safety hybrid engineering in the field of chemistry. A whole set of cultivating mode has been developed and put into practice. In order to understand the status and characteristics of dental education in Europe, America and China, and clarify the shortcomings of dental education in China, this study selected Columbia University, Vienna Medical University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University College of Stomatology as representatives. The similarities and differences of the three institutions were compared through investigating education background and education model, in order to provide references for dental education.
