Objective To study the effectiveness and safety of ultrasound-guided pectoral nerve block combined with no background patient controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) in postoperative pain control of partial mastectomy patients. Methods A total of 60 patients who underwent elective partial mastectomy at Pukou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated to China Pharmaceutical University from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and divided into group M and group N, with 30 cases in each growp. Both groups received no background PCIA. Patients in M group received 0.2% ropivacaine 30 mL for pectoral nerve block, while patients in group N did not receive any other treatment. The outcome measures were VAS scores during static and coughing at the time point of patient leaving resuscitation room (T0), 4 hours (T1), 12 hours (T2), 24 hours (T3), and 48 hours (T4) after surgery, as well as the total analgesia consumption and rescue analgesia dosage. Results Patients in group M showed a lower rest VAS at T0, T1, T2, and T3 time point (P＜0.05), and lower cough VAS at T0, T1, and T2 time point than patients in group N (P＜0.05). In group M, the total intravenous analgesia consumption and number of presses were significantly less than group N at 48 hours after surgery (P＜0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05), and there was no complication related to nerve block in group M. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided pectoral nerve block combined with no background PCIA is able to provide potent postoperative pain control, reduce analgesia consumption in partial mastectomy patients.

Objective To observe the effects of a 1 470 nm semiconductor laser on vaporization cutting, coagulation, and thermal injury of ex vivo animal tissues, aiming to explore the feasibility of its application in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods The experimental group and control group were treated with HANS-D1 and ML-DD01FI 1 470 nm semiconductor laser therapy equipment, respectively. Fresh ex vivo pig bladder tissue was exposed to lasers with the optical fiber placed at distances of 0.5 cm and 1 cm from the tissue for 5 s. The effects of layers at powers of 60, 90, 120, 150, and 160 W on tissue injury were observed. Ex vivo dog prostate and pig kidney tissues were used for vaporization ablation and cutting to observe the effects of lasers at the same power levels on tissue vaporization and cutting thermal injury. Additionally, in coagulation mode, the effects of 30, 40, and 50 W semiconductor lasers on tissue coagulation were observed after irradiating ex vivo pig kidney tissue for 5, 10, and 15 seconds.Results When the optical fiber was placed 1 cm away from the tissue, the 1 470 nm semiconductor lasers did not cause accidental damage to adjacent normal bladder tissue. However, at a distance of 0.5 cm, the 120 W, 150 W, or 160 W lasers caused slight damage to the bladder tissue. In addition, with the increase in output power, the vaporization ablation efficiency of 60-160 W lasers on dog prostate tissue gradually increased, showing a good linear correlation between vaporization volume and total energy consumption (P0.05). Moreover, when performing vaporization cutting on ex vivo pig kidney tissue with a cross-sectional area of 1 cm2, the efficiency of vaporization cutting by the 60-160 W 1 470 nm semiconductor lasers increased with the increase in output power (P0.05). Conclusion The 1 470 nm semiconductor laser shows good vaporization ablation, cutting, and coagulation effect on ex vivo tissues, with a good linear correlation between the effect and the output energy.

In view of the characteristics of non-linearity， time delay and multiple disturbances of wind turbine pitch system， this paper proposes a wind turbine pitch compound control strategy. In the strategy， wind speed is introduced into the control system as a feedforward signal to dynamically compensate the pitch angle and improve the system response speed. In order to improve the robustness and the system's ability to suppress disturbances， a fuzzy PID （proportion-integral-derivative） controller is used. The differential evolution algorithm is adopted to optimize the initial parameters of PID， and the PID controller parameters are dynamically modified through fuzzy rules. The proposed strategy is applied to a 2 MW direct-drive wind turbine and compared with differential evolution-fuzzy PID control and fuzzy PID control. The results show that the proposed strategy can make the output power of the wind turbine more stable， which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Objective To develop deep learning-based auxiliary diagnostic models for diverse pulmonary diffuse cystic diseases, and subsequently evaluate their classification performance to identify the optimal model for clinical diagnosis. Methods A total of 288 patients diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis (PLAM), and pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (PLCH) were prospectively enrolled from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University between January 2010 and October 2022, comprising 76 cases of IPF, 179 cases of PLAM, and 33 cases of PLCH.A total of 877 CT cases were collected, comprising 232 cases of IPF, 557 cases of PLAM, and 88 cases of pulmonary PLCH. Based on the cutoff date of December 31, 2019, the CT scans were divided into two datasets: dataset A consisted of 500 CT scans including 185 IPF cases, 265 PLAM cases, and 50 PLCH cases; while dataset B comprised 377 CT scans with a distribution of 47 IPFcases, 292 PLAMcases, and 38 PLCH cases. The Dataset A was randomly partitioned into training set, validation set, and test set in a ratio of 7:1:2. Subsequently, six distinct deep learning neural networks were employed for training after preprocessing and data augmentation. Receiver operating characteristic curves were generated to assess the model performance using metrics such as area under the curve (AUC), accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and F1 score in order to identify the optimal model. Furthermore, a test set B comprising 30 randomly selected cases from dataset B for each disease type was utilized to evaluate the trained optimal model by employing the same aforementioned metrics. Results In test A, six well-established diagnostic models demonstrated superior classification performance for IPF and LAM, with an AUC greater than 0.9. For LCH, EfficientNet exhibited low classification efficiency with an AUC between 0.6 and 0.7, while Vgg11 showed an AUC between 0.8 and 0.9; the other four models displayed excellent classification efficiency with an AUC greater than 0.9. Except for Inception V3, the remaining five diagnostic models performed poorly in identifying and classifying LCH lesions. Considering multiple indicators, the InceptionV3 model showcased optimal comprehensive performance among the six models, achieving high evaluation parameters such as overall accuracy (94.90%), precision (93.49%), recall (90.84%), and specificity (96.91%). TestB was conducted using the trained InceptionV3 model resulting in an accuracy of 81%, precision of 82%, recall of 81%, and specificity of 90%. Conclusions Six recognition and classification models, developed using deep learning technology in conjunction with pulmonary CT images, demonstrate effective discrimination between LAM, LCH, and IPF. Notably, the model constructed utilizing the InceptionV3 neural network exhibits superior efficiency in accurately recognizing and classifying IPF and LAM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The rational selection of non-geological hazard samples is of great significance to improve the accuracy of geological hazard susceptibility prediction. This study uses Liulin County as a case study, where appropriate impact factors were selected, and the random forest (RF) model was employed for susceptibility assessment based on GIS technology. A total of twenty sets of models were created by varying the ratio of geological hazard to non-geological hazard points (1:1, 1:1.5, 1:3, 1:5 and 1:10) and the distance from non-geological hazard points to known hazard points (100,500,800,1000 m). The results demonstrate that: (1) Through error index, confusion matrix, and ROC curve tests, the sample proportion and distance from the known hazard point significantly influenced the geological hazard susceptibility evaluation. As the sample proportion decreased and the distance from known hazard points increased, the overall MAE and RMSE of the models decreased, while the overall ACC increased. All models achieved AUC value greater than 0.8, indicating excellent predictive performance. When the sample proportion was less than 1:3, the increasing distance from the known hazard points on model error and accuracy became less pronounced, stabilizing the results. The most suitable model for the study area was found to have a sample ratio of 1:10 and a distance of 1000 m from known hazard points. (2) High and very high susceptibility areas were primarily located in the central and northern regions, adjacent to roads and rivers, making them key areas for hazard prevention and reduction in Liulin County. (3) Differences in sample selection led to varying susceptibility results mainly due to changes in the RF model's data feature collection and judgment during the modeling process, as well as the representativeness of the samples. Objective To build a model of postoperative pathological fracture of the mandibular angular cystic lesions through 3D finite element analysis (FEA), to compare and analyze the biomechanical changes of the mandible after treatment with 8 types of titanium plates, and explore the reliability of titanium plate fixation in preventing pathological fracture of large mandibular cysts. Methods A 30-year-old healthy male was volunteered and the scans of cone beam computed tomography of his mandible were collected to establish a unilateral cystic lesion model of the mandibular angle region to mimic the pathological fracture caused by occlusal force loading. On the basis of the maximum critical cystic lesion size, the biomechanical characteristics and changes in the mandible with 8 different types of titanium plate fixation under the same mechanical conditions were compared. Results The risk of pathological fracture existed when the cystic lesion size in the mandibular angle exceeds 24 mm×30 mm×30 mm. The stress in the lesion area was the lowest when the upper edge was fixed with 1 mm thick titanium plate and bilateral 3 screws, and the lower edge was fixed with 2 mm thick titanium plate and bilateral 4 screws. At the same time the maximum yield strength of the mandible was not exceeded and no pathological fracture of the mandible occurred. Conclusion The incidence of pathological fracture can be reduced by using titanium plate fixation on the upper and lower margins of the mandibular angle after extraoral surgical curettage for large cystic lesions.

Aiming at the analysis of the position and orientation error on the new 3- PRS parallel mechanism with three adjustable pedestals and variable working space,a geometric analytic method for the forward kinematics analysis of the 3- PRS parallel mechanism is proposed,then the analysis of the working platform end- effector error is derived,and what’s more,the position and orientation of the working platform end- effector is obtained by using software emulation when the three pedestals at different positions. The results show that the end- effector error has obvious changes with the different positions of the three pedestals. This study provides a useful guidance for the error compensation of the new 3- PRS parallel mechanism.

Through the fracture analysis of the failure gear,finding the gear tooth broke belongs to fatigue fracture,by checking designing,assembly,material heat treatment and quality,it could be found that the insufficiency of shot peening coverage is the main reason of gear break. For this reason,according to shot peening technology specification SAE AMS- S- 13165,the shot peening again is carried out to remedy the shortage shot peening coverage,the gear strength is obviously improved,and the gear fracture is solved in bench duration test.

Protein glycosylation in eukaryotic cells regulates a variety of physiological processes including cell recognition, cell adhesion, migration, and immune response. It is also closely related with the occurrence and development of many critical diseases. Therefore, large scale identification of protein glycosylation not only provides important information for the study of basic biological mechanisms, but also is crucial for the discovery of new diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Due to the low abundance of glycoprotein/glycopeptide in real biological samples, enrichment before mass spectrometry (MS) analysis is an essential step for achieving deep glycosylation site coverage. Lectin enrichment, as an effective method for glycoproteins/glycopeptides enrichment, has been utilized widely in glycoproteomics research. To solve the problems of low lectin loading and limited enrichment efficiency of existing lectin functional materials, we prepared two kinds of new graphene oxide ( GO) immobilized lectin. Besides good dispersion in aqueous solution as well as good chemical stability, GO has extremely large specific surface area and also carries high density of functional groups on its surface, which is especially benelicial for achieving high lectin loading amount. As a result, lectin loading as high as 1. 90 mg/mg was achieved for GO-lectin (GO-ConA 2. 073 mg/mg, RSD = 1. 0%; GO-WGA 1. 908 mg/mg, RSD = 0.14%). One milligram GO-lectin can adsorb more than 200 µg glycoprotein each experiment in two weeks. The GO-lectin was successfully applied in glycoproteins/glycopeptides enrichment with high efficiency and selectivity, indicating its good application potential in glycoproteomics research.

Objective: To study the cell morphology change in dormancy and proliferation stage of colorectal cancer stem cells in order to provide reference to the treatment of colorectal cancer., Methods: The subpopulation of EpCAM(high)/CD44(+)/CD133(+) was isolated from fresh colorectal cancer tissues. These cells were tested by xenograft assay in NOD/SCID nude mice. Colorectal cancer stem cells underwent three-dimensional culture, and the growth curve of stem cells was drawn by WST-1. The expression of P27 and Ki-67 was examined by flow cytometry to understand the phase of dormancy and proliferation of colorectal cancer stem cells. Then the morphological differences of colorectal cancer stem cells between dormant and proliferation stages were recognized by immunofluorescence staining of actin., Results: The percentage of EpCAM(high)/CD44(+)/CD133(+) was 1.6%, and the subpopulation was confirmed to be colorectal cancer stem cells by means of the experiment of tumorigenicity in vivo. The growth curve of colorectal cancer stem cells was "S" type. Colorectal cancer stem cells grew slowly in the first three days. The expression of P27 was gradually up-regulated, and the level of Ki-67 was very low. These cells remained quiescence, which was the so-called dormancy. The expression of Ki-67 of colorectal cancer stem cells was at high level since the fourth day, and the P27 level was very low. According to the growth curve, this period belonged to the proliferative stage of colorectal cancer stem cells. On immunofluorescence staining, colorectal cancer stem cells with high level of P27 were round, large, and few pseudopodium, but no obvious death was found. These cells showed characteristics of dormancy. In contrast, the stem cells with high level of Ki-67 had much pseudopodium, showing proliferation and invasion., Conclusions: Cancer recurrence and metastasis may be associated with the change of growth state of cancer stem cells. Colorectal cancer stem cells in the proliferation stage show greater proliferative and invasive ability as compared to the dormancy stage, which provides a new perspective for the treatment of colorectal cancer, and recurrence and metastasis of other tumors.
