A dynamic test bench is developed, which is equipped with both hydraulic and electric motor brake actuators and can realtime simulate the dynamic change of road brake force. Based on the principle of hardware- in-the-loop test, the test bench incorporates real components including hydraulic brake subsystem, motor subsystem and speed and pressure sensors, and takes into consideration the dynamic response characteristics with the interactions among wheels, hydraulic and electric motor brake systems during braking. In addition, the control system of test bench developed with MABLAB/Simulink can meet the verification requirements of various control strategies. Finally, the key parameters of test bench are measured and a test on the slip ratio coordinated control of electro- hydraulic hybrid brake system is carried out, verifying the effectiveness and advantage of the test bench developed.
