Objective To predict the pigmentation phenotypes of Chinese populations from different language families, analyze the differences and provide reference data for forensic anthropology and genetics. Methods The HIrisPlex-S multiplex amplification system with 41 loci related to pigmentation phenotypes was constructed in the laboratory, and 2 666 DNA samples of adult males of 17 populations from six language families, including Indo-European, Sino-Tibetan, Altaic, Hmong-Mien, Tai-Kadai and Austro-Asiatic language families distributed in different regions of China were genotyped. The pigmentation phenotype category of each individual was predicted using the online prediction system （https://HIrisPlex.erasmusmc.nl/）, and then the output data were statistically analyzed. Results About 1.92% of the individuals of Asian-European admixed populations from Indo-European and Altaic language families had blue eyes and 34.29% had brown or gold hair. The phenotypes of the color of eyes and hair of other populations had no significant difference, all individuals had brown eyes and black hair. There were differences in skin color of populations of different language families and geographical areas. The Indo-European language family had the lightest skin color, and the Austro-Asiatic language family had the darkest skin color; the southwestern minority populations had a darker skin color than populations in the plain areas. Conclusion The prediction results of pigmentation phenotype of Chinese populations are consistent with the perception of the appearance of each population, proving the reliability of the system. The color of eyes and hair are mainly related to ancestral components, while the skin color shows the differences between language families, and is closely related to geographical distribution of populations.

In order to improve the energy efficiency of composite nano-metal materials, the energetic intermolecular complexes Si@PVDF/CL-20 with different silicon content (20%, 30% and 40%)were prepared by electrostatic spray method. The heat of combustion of PVDF/CL-20 composites with different ratios was obtained by bomb calorimeter. The morphology of PVDF/CL-20 composite was clarified by using SEM. The effect of Si content on the morphology of Si@PVDF/CL-20 composite particles was also analyzed. The thermal behavior of energetic compounds with different silicon content was studied by DSC-TG, and the kinetic paramters of thermal decomposition were calculated. The thermal analyses indicate that when the PVDF/ CL-20 mass ratio is 1-6, the heat of combustion reaches a maximum value, which can be used as the optimal ratio incoating of nano-Si powder. The SEM results show that when the silicon content is 30%, the composite particles (Si-30% ©PVDF/CL-20) exhibite the best sphericity. The DSC results show that when the silicon content is 20%, a runaway chemical reaction was likely occurred. The effect of Si powder on the decomposition of PVDF/CL-20 composite plays less significant role with the increase of content. The apparent activation energies of Si@PVDF/CL-20 composites calculated by Friedman method are 470. 6, 182.1, 91.7kJ/mol, respectively. The complex decomposition process of Si-20% @PVDF/CL-20 cannot be described by a single kinetic model, whereas those of Si-30% ©PVDF/CL-20 and Si-40% ©PVDF/CL-20 can be well described by a nuclea-tion and growth model. Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a pleiotropic cytokine that is involved in the regulation of the body's innate and adaptive immunity. Previous studies have shown that IL-27 mediates a variety of inflammatory responses in vivo. With the development of animal models and technical tools, several studies have shown that it is also closely associated with autoimmune diseases and other immune related diseases, and is considered as an important candidate for the treatment of viral disease, autoimmune diseases, tumors and obesity. Therefore, this paper reviews recent progress on the role of IL-27 in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), rheumatoid arthritis, tumors and obesity, with the aim of providing new ideas for the treatment of immune related diseases.

To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Xinling Wan on patients with stable angina pectoris, a randomized, double-blinded, placebo parallel-controlled, multicenter clinical trial was conducted. A total of 232 subjects were enrolled and randomly divided into experiment group and placebo group. The experiment group was treated with Xinling Wan (two pills each time, three times daily) for 4 weeks, and the placebo group was treated with placebo. The effectiveness evaluation showed that Xinling Wan could significantly increase the total duration of treadmill exercise among patients with stable angina pectoris. FAS analysis showed that the difference value of the total exercise duration was between experiment group (72.11±139.32) s and placebo group (31.25±108.32) s. Xinling Wan could remarkably increase the total effective rate of angina pectoris symptom score, and the analysis showed that the total effective rate was 78.95% in experiment group and 42.61% in placebo group. The reduction of nitroglycerin dose was (2.45±2.41) tablets in experiment group and (0.50±2.24) tablets in placebo group on the basis of FAS analysis. The decrease of symptom integral was (4.68±3.49) in experiment group and (3.19±3.31) in placebo group based on FAS analysis. Besides, Xinling Wan could decrease the weekly attack time and the duration of angina pectoris. PPS analysis results were similar to those of FAS analysis. Objective: To determine the effect of elastic taping on patients with patellofemoral pain and its impact on the onset time of vastusmedialis and vastuslateralis., Methods: Eligible patients were assigned into the treatment and control groups randomly. Patients in the treatment group received a 5-day taping with therapeutic stretch. Patients in the control group were give placebo taping without therapeutic stretch. Ultrasound therapy was applied to all of the participants as a basic treatment. The levels of pain and surface electromyography were evaluated before treatment, after the first taping and on the Gh day (without taping)., Results: Patients in the treatment group experienced immediate improvement in pain and onset time of vastusmedialis and vastuslateralis compared with the controls. On the 6th day (without taping), further improvement was achieved in pain and onset time of vastusmedialis and vastuslateralis in the treatment group compared with the controls (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: Elastic taping can effectively improve pain and onset time of vastusmedialis and vastuslateralis.

Objective: To study the secondary metabolites from the marine sponge Phakellia fusca epiphytic fungi., Methods: The compounds were isolated by column chromatography over silica gel and purified by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography and preparative TLC. The structures were elucidated by means of physiochemical properties and spectroscopic analyses., Results: Four compounds were separated and identified as: cyclo-(L-Val-L-Pro) (1), cyclo-(L-Phe-L-Pro) (2), cyclo-(L-Tyr-L-Pro) (3), cyclo-(3-hydroxy-4-methyldecanoyl-Gly-L-Val-D-Leu-L-Ala-L-Phe) (4)., Conclusion: Compounds 1-4 are obtained from the marine sponge Phakellia fusca epiphytic fungi for the first time.

Objective: To study the hypoglycemic effect and mechanism of the extracts of cactus pear fruit polysaccharide (CPFP) in diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin (STZ)., Methods: The diabetic rats were induced by STZ in SD rats, and randomly divided into model group, insulin group,cactus pear juice group, high dose CPFP group,low dose CPFP group. The experimental rats were administrated for 8 weeks. During the experiment, the contents of blood glucose and blood limit of the rats were detected and body weight were recorded. The pathology of beta cell and alpha cell in pancreas of experimental rats were observed by immunohistochemistry., Results: Compared with model group, the contents of blood glucose, total cholesterol and triglyceride were remarkably decreased in high and low dose CPFP groups. At the same time the body weight was significantly increased in high dose and low dose CPFP groups. The results of immunohistochemical stain demonstrated that the number of islet beta cells was increased and that of islet alpha cells was unchanged in the treatment groups., Conclusion: CPFP can markedly decrease blood glucose and blood limit in STZ-induced diabetic rats. Its mechanism may be related to stimulating the secretion of insulin from beta cells.

Objective: To isolate and identify the antineoplastic constituents of the marine algae Galaxaura filamentosa., Methods: The constituents were isolated and purified by low-pressure silica gel column chromatography, thin layer chromatography and recrystallization, and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis., Results: Isolated a new antineoplastic cyclic peptide, cyclo-N-methyl-Leucine-Leucine-N-methyl-Leucine-Leucine-Leucine., Conclusion: This new compound was remarkably active against the human renal cell carcinoma GRC-1 and human hepatocellular carcinoma HepG2 cell lines with corresponding IC50 values of 4.26 microg/mL and 4.63 microg/mL.

Objective: To study the effects of ephrinB2 gene transfection on the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) into vascular endothelial cells., Methods: Wistar rat BMSCs were isolated by density gradient centrifugation and purified on the basis of their adhesion ability. The BMSCs were transfected with a lenti-virus vector encoding a constitutively active form of human ephrinB2 gene, and the cell markers including CD105, CD73, CD44, von Willebrand factor (VWF) and vascular growth factor receptor 2 (KDR) were detected using flow cytometry. The potential of ephrinB2-BMSCs for differentiation into osteoblasts and adipoblasts in vitro were tested, and the differentiation of the cells into endothelial-like cells was induced by culture in the presence of 2% fetal bovine serum and 50 ng/ml vascular endothelial growth factor., Results: EphrinB2-BMSCs were positive for the markers CD105, CD73 and CD44, and negative for the typical endothelial markers like VWF and KDR, and retained high potentials for differentiation into osteoblasts and adipoblasts in vitro after cultivation in respective media. After induced differentiation, ephrinB2-BMSCs expressed VWF and KDR and showed greater ability of differentiation into vascular endothelial cells and formation of capillary structures on matrix gel than the BMSCs without transfection., Conclusions: EphrinB2 gene transfection efficiently promotes the differentiation of BMSCs into vascular endothelial cells. These genetically engineered cells provide valuable sources for new therapies of coronary heart disease.

Objective: To obtain a intravitreous delay release system by injection of biodegradable polymers (alginate sodium-retinoic acid microspheres, AGS-RA microspheres) to the rabbit vitreous and study the release character of RA delivery system in vitro., Methods: RA was mixed with 1.5% alginate sodium and microspheres was made by a special electrostatic generator after dissolved in organic solvent; The content of AGS-RA in the microspheres and its release from the microspheres were measured by spectrophotometer. The characteristic of the metabolic dynamics of AGS-RA in the microspheres was analyzed by HPLC., Results: The size of microspheres we manufacture is (95.2443 +/- 8.6265) microm; Medicine contain quantity of RA is (1.7644 +/- 0.0453) microg/mg; Vitro test show that RA in the microspheres is release evenly in the 28 days of observation; Inject medicine to vitreous cavity show no poisonous side effect; The medicine dynamics research of microspheres showed that medicine is being even in 6 weeks releasing [the aqueous RA density of 1, 3 d, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 weeks is (23.79 +/- 0.15), (33.45 +/- 0.48), (19.95 +/- 0.79), (21.12 +/- 0.47), (19.65 +/- 0.35), (20.01 +/- 0.25), (18.24 +/- 0.27), (18.5 +/- 0.68) ng/ml, respectively]. Just in the 3rd day there is a release summit., Conclusion: In vivo and in vitro tests show that AGS-RA microspheres can delay RA release uniformity.

Objective: To screen the inflammatory mediators genes regulated by HSF1, and explore the mechanism of downstream genes regulated by HSF1., Methods: HSF-/- and HSF1+/+ mice were injected with 15 mg/kg LPS intraperitoneally (ip), respectively, and were treated as previous after HSR. The total RNA of lung tissues were extracted and filtrated by SuperArray gene Microarry. The promoter of candidate genes were analyzed by transcription element search software to search for heat shock element (HSE). Select the suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) with HSE. Macrophage cells were stimulated with 400 ng/mL LPS, and were treated as previous after HSR, then the total RNA was extracted respectively. RT-PCR and northern blot assay were performed to detect the expression levels of SOCS3 mRNA., Results: Fifteen genes were repressed by HSF1, including 9 genes with complete HSE. Eleven genes were accelerated by HSF1 possibly, including 8 genes with complete HSE. The promoter of SOCS3 gene contained one complete HSE. LPS stimulation obviously increased the levels of SOCS3 mRNA in macrophages of RAW264.7 mice, which was inhibited by HSR and over-expression of HSF1., Conclusion: HSR or HSF1 inhibits LPS induced expression of SOCS3 mRNA; HSF1 might inhibit LPS-induced expression of SOCS3 mRNA by binding to HSE in the promoter of SOCS3 gene.
