本研究為聚焦「年輕公民與社會／生態正義」跨國研究案的臺灣個案研究，於某大學表演相關科系執行以環境與氣候變遷為主題的「特定場域劇場」戲劇課程。本研究問題有二：如何將批判教育學具體實踐於戲劇教育課程？如何透過聚焦氣候與環境正義的戲劇課程，激發學生的批判思考，並使其得到轉化？為回答上述問題，研究者以大學鄰近深受重工業汙染影響的社區作為本課程的「提問」，把學生認為「太過龐大」的氣候變遷議題聚焦於「減少工業碳排放、促進工業轉型」的在地工業汙染議題。其次，透過「批判的五感教育學」將身體感官置於學習中心，讓學生參與記者會與田野調查，感受社區居民生活與環境運動，使學生從過往囤積式教育的無感學習得到轉化，開始將所學與生活經驗及當地特定脈絡連結，對環境議題有感並形成批判知識。期末學生於特定場域劇場展現其對環境不正義的批判意識與劇場中的行動，進而理解採取在地行動減緩氣候變遷之重要。此即為本研究所稱從「無感」學習經驗到「五感」的環境意識啟蒙及批判教育學實踐。本研究最後提出全球氣候正義議題在地化對永續教育的重要性，並結合五感教育與批判教育學，以補充國內批判教育學的實踐研究。 This study forms part of the broader research project “Global Youth (Digital) Citizen-Artists and their Publics: Performing for Socio-Ecological Justice,” with a specific focus on the Taiwan case study. We conducted a sitespecific theatre class on the environment and climate change in a university’s performing arts department. The research addresses two questions: How can concepts of critical pedagogy be practically applied in theatre education? How can such a class, focused on climate and environmental justice, inspire students to engage in critical thinking and transformative action? To explore these questions, we selected a community near the university severely impacted by heavy industrial pollution as the focal point for this class. By examining the challenge of “reducing industrial carbon emissions and promoting industrial transformation,” we aimed to shift students’ perceptions of climate issues from abstract and overwhelming to concrete and locally relevant. Through “critical sensory pedagogy,” we placed sensory experience at the centre of learning. Students engaged with the lived realities of community residents and environmental movements through immersive activities such as press conferences and field trips. This experiential approach moved them beyond passive containers in banking education, empowering them to connect their academic learning with life experience and specific local historical and social contexts, fostering critical awareness of environmental issues. By the semester’s end, students demonstrated a deepened critical consciousness of environmental injustice, staging sitespecific theatre performances that emphasized the importance of local initiatives in addressing climate change. This process exemplifies what we describe as a shift from “indifference” to “environmental conscientization” through critical sensory pedagogy praxis. This paper highlights the importance of localising global climate justice in sustainable education and contributes to the limited practical research on critical pedagogy by integrating sensory pedagogy with critical pedagogy.

BackgroundWith the events reporting on odors in drinking water, odorous substances in water have become a hot topic in water quality analysis. Due to the low concentration of the odor threshold and the complexity of the odor components in water, it is difficult to make accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis. So it is necessary to develop a highly sensitive and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis method. ObjectiveTo establish a method for simultaneous determination of four odorous substances, including dimethyl disulfide, dimethyl trisulfide, 2-methylisoborneol, and geosmin in water by purge and trap-gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. MethodsA certain amount of water sample was stored in the sample vial of a purge and trapinstrument. Through nitrogen purging, the odorous substances in water were purged out and enriched in the trap. Subsequently, the odorous substances were rapidly released at high temperatures after heating the trap, and then carried by carrier gas into gas chromatograph. After temperature programming, the substances were separated by an Agilent DB-624 capillary chromatographic column (30 m×0.25 mm, 1.4 μm) and determined by tandem mass spectrometry in multiple reaction monitoring modes, with internal standard method for quantification. The current project optimized purge time, sodium chloride concentration in water sample, desorption temperature, desorption time, and split ratio during the experimental process. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the standard curve, detection limit, and quantification limit were validated. Recovery tests with spiking concentrations of 5.0, 10.0, 30.0, 80.0 ng·L−1 and precision tests were conducted on water samples. Finally, the established method was applied to detect odorous substances in source water, finished water, and pipeline water in Deqing County of Huzhou City. ResultAfter the optimization, the purge time was 20 min, the desorption temperature was 280 ℃, the desorption time was 2 min, the split ratio was 10∶1, and no sodium chloride was added during the purge process. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the calibration curves for the four odorous substances showed an excellent linearity in the range of 1 to 100 ng·L−1 (R>0.999), with 0.3 ng·L−1 limit of detection and 1.0 ng·L−1 limit of quantitation. The average recoveries were from 85.5% to 102.4% and relative standard deviations (RSD) from 1.6% to 5.2%. After applying this method to detect local source water, finished water, and pipeline water, it was found that the positive rates of 2-methylisoborneo, and geosmin were relatively high, while the positive rates of dimethyl disulfide and dimethyl trisulfide were relatively low. Only one sample of source water tested positive for dimethyl disulfide, and all samples were negative for dimethyl trisulfide. ConclusionCombined with the superiority of purge and trap and tandem mass spectrometry, the method has the advantages of easy to perform, strong anti-interference ability, good accuracy and precision, which meet the limit requirements of the four odorous substances in the expanded indices and reference indices of Hygienic standards for drinking water (GB 5749-2022). It also provides technical support for water quality assessment and analysis of odorous substances.

In order to explore the anti-aging effects of two tocopherol ester derivatives, the in vitro antioxidant capacity of D-α-tocopherol acetate and DL-α-tocopherol acetate was determined. A mouse model of D-galactose-induced was created and intervened with each of the tocopherol ester derivatives for 42 days. Changes in aging related indicators were analyzed. The results showed that the hydroxyl radical scavenging capacity, and the 2,2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) cation radical scavenging capacity, Fe2+ chelating capacity, and total reducing power of the two tocopherol ester derivatives were better than those of vitamin C in the concentration range of 0.1 to 0.3 mg/mL. Compared with the aging model group, after intervention with tocopherol ester derivatives, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in serum decreased significantly (P < 0.05, P < 0.01, P < 0.001, and P < 0.000 1), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) increased significantly (P < 0.05, P < 0.01, P < 0.001, and P < 0.000 1). The serum levels of inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and liver function indexes including aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) decreased significantly (P < 0.05, P < 0.01, P < 0.001, and P < 0.001). Moreover, the relative mRNA and protein expression levels of nuclear factor-E2-related factors (Nrf2), quinone oxidoreductase (NQO1) and heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) in the mouse liver were enhanced. DL-α-tocopherol acetate increased the relative mRNA expression of Nrf2, NQO1 and HO-1 by 514.08%, 461.78% and 515.32%, respectively, and their relative protein expression by 620.00%, 988.89% and 1 200.00%, respectively (P < 0.000 1). To sum up, the two tocopherol ester derivatives have anti-aging effects on D-galactose-induced aging in mice, DL-α-tocopherol acetate being more effective than D-α-tocopherol acetate, and their anti-aging effects may be related to the regulation of the Nrf2 signaling pathway.

ObjectiveThis paper proposes a null-space-based active disturbance rejection control （ADRC）allocation method to analyze the influence of multi-source disturbances encountered during the autonomous berthing of ships, such as environmental loads, bank effects, model uncertainties and control allocation errors.Methods First, a ship berthing motion model, multi-source disturbance model and control allocation model are established, and a neural network extended state observer (NNESO) is designed to estimate ship states and multi-source disturbances in real time. Second, null-space technology is introduced to design the control allocation algorithm. Based on this method, a scheme for stabilization control outside the berth and parallel berthing is realized. Finally, it is proven that all error signals of the autonomous berthing system under the proposed method remain uniformly ultimately bounded, ensuring the safety of the autonomous berthing process.ResultsThe comparative simulation results show that the proposed method has a trajectory tracking effect similar to that of the quadratic programming (QP) method, with a solution time of about 1.3% and a yaw maximum allocation error of 36.51% of the pseudo inverse (PI) method. ConclusionThe proposed method not only ensures the accuracy of berthing motion control, but also significantly reduces the solution time and maximum allocation error, thereby ensuring real-time control allocation with high accuracy.

Objective To explore the context and hotspot changes of forensic mixed stain research through bibliometric approach. Methods The literature of forensic mixed stain included in the core collection of Web of Science database from 2011 to 2022 were collected as the study object, and the annual publication number, countrie （region）, institution, journal, keywords, etc. were bibliometrically and visually analyzed using the R-based Bibliometrix 1.1.6 package and VOSviewer 1.6.18 software. Results A total of 732 articles on forensic mixed stain were included from 2011 to 2022, with the annual number of articles published and the annual citation frequency showing a steady increase year by year. Among the 59 countries （regions） with the most published articles, the United States ranked first with 246 articles, followed by China with 153 articles. The literature came from 104 journals, and the total number of articles published in the top 10 journals was 633. FORENSIC SCI INT GENET ranked first with 307 articles. Visual analysis using VOSviewer software showed that keywords could be divided into four research clusters, namely the genetic marker development group （blue）, the mixed stain typing analysis theory group （red）, the sequencing analysis group （yellow）, and the case sample research group （green）. It can be divided into four development stages in terms of different time periods: early development （2011—2013）, middle development （2014—2016）, rapid development （2017—2020） and latest development （2021—2022）. Conclusion The number of publications by domestic and foreign scholars in the study of mixed stain in forensic science is showing a relatively stable trend. Machine learning, next generation sequencing and other research have been the hottest topics that have attracted the most attention in recent years, which is expected to further develop the theory of mixed stain typing and sequencing analysis in forensic mixed stain research.

本研究旨在關注資優教育中的卓越落差現象，理解「社經文化地位不利」國中生如何成為學術性向資優生，藉以探討家庭背景如何作用、學校教 育有何功能，進而檢視資優教育中的機會均等議題、反思相關法令政策之落實。針對具相關背景之國中資優生及其重要他人進行訪談，輔以文件蒐集。依國小為資優生與否、如何得知報考資訊、如何準備資優鑑定、有無重要他人影響四層面分析如何成為資優生，關於家庭背景如何影響，資優生看法不一，親師看法相對一致。接著討論「不利」、才能與韌性以及家庭、學校與機會兩項議題。最後提出三點結論與建議：一、「社經文化地位不利」資優生呈低代表性，類別存在的意涵有待思辨；二、非「標準家庭」仍能孕育資優生，處於逆境者之韌性需要予以肯認與滋養；三、學校教育具補償功能，資優教育機會均等有待系統檢視與積極實踐。 This study focuses on the phenomenon of ‘excellence disparity’ in gifted education, aiming to understand how junior high school students with disadvantaged socioeconomic and cultural status become academically oriented gifted students. It examines how family background plays a role, the function of school education, and reviews the issue of equal opportunities in gifted education, reflecting on the implementation of related laws and policies. Interviews were conducted with gifted junior high school students from relevant backgrounds and related stakeholders, supplemented by document collection. The analysis was based on four aspects: whether the students were identified as gifted in elementary school, how they learned about the testing information, how they prepared for the gifted identification process, and the influence of related stakeholders including parents and teachers. Opinions of the impact of family background on becoming a gifted student varied among students, while teachers and parents had relatively consistent views. The study then discusses the issues of disadvantage, talent, and resilience, as well as family, school, and opportunities. Finally, three conclusions and suggestions are presented: (1) Gifted students with disadvantaged socioeconomic cultural status are underrepresented, and the implications of this deserve further contemplation; (2) “Non-standard families” can still nurture gifted students, and the resilience of those in adverse situations needs recognition and nurturing; and (3) School education has a compensatory function, and the goal of providing equal opportunity in gifted education requires systematic review and proactive implementation.

【Objective】In recent years, grape industry has developed rapidly in Guangdong Province, which has been a high-profit grape production region where two crops of grape berry can be harvested in a year. However, the short day photoperiod and chilling temperatures in autumn and winter induce systematic leaf senescence, which is unfavorable for over-winter berry development and quality formation in grape. In the study, the effect of artificial supplementary lighting on leaf senescence and berry development in 'Shine Muscat' grape were explored, with an aim to provide technical basis for maintaining leaf function and berry development in winter.【Method】From mid-October, 8-year-old 'Shine Muscat' plants on rootstock of '5BB' were treated with 3 μmol/m2·s red and blue LED light (5∶1) belts, which were placed above the leaves at the fruit cluster node. Light supplementary was carried out from 18:00 to 24:00 until the berries became mature. Changes in chlorophyll index (SPAD value), photosynthetic parameters (Pn) of the leaves at the fruit cluster node and horizontal and vertical diameters of berries were traced, and single berry weight, cluster weight and total soluble solid (TSS) content were collected at mature period.【Result】After 6 weeks of supplementary lighting treatment, leaves at the cluster node in the control plants became yellowing with decreasing SPAD value. While artificial lighting treatment was effective to suppress leaf chlorosis in winter, with significantly lower SPAD decreasing range. After 10 weeks of treatment, leaves at various nodes in supplementary lighting treatment were higher than those at corresponding nodes in the control plants, suggesting that artificial lighting suppressed systematic leaf senescence in winter. The Pn of both lighting treatment and the control plants decreased dramatically from mid-November to late December. However, the decreasing range of Pn was smaller in the lighting treatment. Pn had no significant correlation with stomatal conductance (Gs), but was extremely negatively correlated to mesophyll CO2 concentration (Ci), indicating the reduction of Pn during leaf senescence in winter was mainly caused by non-stomatal limitation. Supplementary lighting treatment maintained Pn via overcoming both stomatal and non-stomatal limitations. the supplementary lighting treatment, significantly increased single berry weight (10.8 g VS 8.8 g), promoted berry horizontal diameter, slightly increased single cluster weight, but significantly reduced total soluble solids (15.0% VS 16.7%).【Conclusion】The results show that supplementary lighting treatment is effective to delay systematic leaf senescence in winter and promote berry growth. It is recommended to use supplementary LED lighting during over-winter grape cultivation in Guangzhou or in regions with similar climate. However, measures should be taken to promote TSS accumulation in the berry.

As a future-oriented new network architecture, the core idea of computing and network convergence is to manage cloud-edge-end computing network resources in a centralized or distributed way by centering on the deep integration of computing force and network resources, so as to provide computing service for users’ needs.Although the CNC has made some progress in standard setting and industrial promotion, the overall development still faces many challenges, and there are still many scientific and engineering problems to be broken through.Research on CNC and its brain was carried out, the latest progress in related fields in the industry was analyzed, and the idea of building intelligent CNC brain was put forward, hoping to throw a brick at the table, jointly promote the implementation of AI in CNC, and truly realize intelligent CNC.

With the rapid development of biodiversity informatics, more and more open biological data can be used by researchers. Taking an open data platform as an example, analyzing the research hotspots and development trends in the field of biodiversity in China will help biodiversity researchers and policy-makers keep abreast of the current status and trends of biological research, and provide decision support for the construction of biodiversity in China. We searched the full text of the literature in CNKI and Google Scholar from 2013 to 2023 with the relevant search terms of “National Specimen Information Infrastructure (NSII)”, and retrieved a total of 1 070 supported by NSII literature, including journal articles (822), dissertations (233), popular science articles (5), conference articles (6) and reports (4). Through the means and methods of bibliometrics, the 822 journal articles supported by NSII are explored from the aspects of publication status, research topics and hot spots, research institutions, etc., to explore the current status, hot spots and trends of biodiversity research supported by NSII. According to the results obtained from the keyword co-occurrence network map, the research hotspots of biodiversity focus on the analysis and modeling of species distribution, climate change, taxonomy, biodiversity research, and research platform construction. Biodiversity informatics is developing rapidly in China, in the future, it is still necessary to improve data source construction, resource integration, sharing capability, professional competence and international cooperation, etc. to promote the development of biodiversity scientific research continuously.

[Purpose/Significance] Deep learning for language modeling is one of the major methods and advanced technologies to enhance language intelligence of machines at present, which has become an indispensable important technical means for automatic processing and analysis of data resources, and intelligent mining of information and knowledge. However, there are still some difficulties in using deep learning for language modeling for technology development and application service in the library and information science (LIS) field. Therefore, this study systematically reviews and reveals the research progress, technical principles, and development methods of deep learning for language modeling, with the aim at providing reliable theoretical basis and feasible methodological paths for the deep understanding and application of deep learning for language modeling for librarians and fellow practitioners. [Method/Process] The data used in this study were collected from the WOS core database, CNKI literature database, arXiv preprint repository, GitHub open-source software hosting platform and the open resources on the Internet. Based on these data, this paper first systematically investigates the background, basic feature representation algorithms, and representative application development tools of deep learning for language modeling, reveals their dynamic evolution and technical principles, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages and applicability of each algorithm model and development tool. Second, an in-depth analysis of the possible challenging problems faced by the development and application of deep learning for language modeling was performed, and two strategic approaches to expand their application capabilities were put forward. [Results/Conclusions] The important challenges faced by the application and development of deep learning for language modeling include numerous parameters and difficulties to adjust accuracy, relying on a large amount of accurate training data, difficulties in making changes, and the intellectual property and information security issues. In the future, we will start from two aspects of specific domains and feature engineering to expand and improve the application capabilities of deep learning for language modeling. Specifically, we focus on consideration of the collection and preparation of domain data, selection of model architecture, participation of domain experts, and optimization for specific tasks, in order to ensure that the data source of the model is more reliable and secure, and the application effect is more accurate and practical. Moreover, the strategic methods for feature engineering to expand the application capabilities of deep learning for language modeling include selecting appropriate features, feature pre-processing, feature selection, and feature dimensionality reduction. These strategies can help improve the performance and efficiency of deep learning for language models, making them more suitable for specific tasks or domains. To sum up, LIS institutions should leverage the deep learning for language modeling related technologies, guided by the needs of scientific research and social development, and based on advantages of existing literature data resources and knowledge services; they should carry out innovative professional or vertical domain intelligent knowledge management and application service, and develop technology and systems with independent intellectual property rights, which is their long-term sustainable development path.

In order to obtain convenient and healthy Lentinula edodes prefabricated dishes (LPD), the processing conditions of rehydration, blanching, color protection and sterilization method were optimized by using the polysaccharides as the nutrition index, and color, texture and flavor as the quality index. Results showed that the optimal rehydration-blanching conditions were: rehydration at room temperature for 50 min, then blanching for 3 min. At this time, the polysaccharides loss rate was the lowest (24.31%±3.03%), the hardness of L. edodes was low, and the chewing was moderate. Subsequently, the value of chromatism, and A294 and A420 that could characterize the degree of Maillard reaction were used as evaluation indexes, the composition of color protection agent was optimized by orthogonal tests. The results showed that the optimized color protection agent for sliced L. edodes was composed of 12 g/L of citrate, 0.8 g/L of ascorbic acid, and 2.0 g/L of L-cysteine. After further optimization, it was determined that the optimal soak time was 20 min. Under these conditions, the ΔE of sterilized sliced L. edodes was 17.00±0.08, and the comprehensive score of color was 10.295±0.190. Finally, the color and flavor of LPDs which respectively sterilized by high pressure, normal pressure and γ-irradiation were compared to select the sterilization method. As a result, the cold sterilization, 60Co-γ irradiation was selected as the optimal sterilization method for LPD production. As a summary, the optimized preparation process for LPD, which obtained in this study with simple processing condition and short production cycle, could better retain the nutritional value and unique flavor of L. edodes, and would be suitable for large-scale industrial production of LPD.

In order to investigate the drying characteristics of green Sichuan pepper by heat pump and optimize the drying process parameters to improve the quality of dried green Sichuan pepper, the single-factor experiments and orthogonal tests on the drying process of green Sichuan pepper were conducted in this study. Temperature, air speed and laying thickness were defined as test factors, and effective moisture diffusion coefficient, photosynthetic pigment unit mass content and color difference were determined as evaluation indexes. Six commonly used drying mathematical models were used to fit the orthogonal test data nonlinearly, respectively. The results showed that the Page model had the best fit to the test data and it was the best model to describe the drying of green Sichuan pepper by heat pump. Background Mental disorders in drug users have received increasing attention. However, there are no any epidemiologic data available in regard to substance use disorders (SUD) and other mental disorders in drug users in Yunnan, one region that is hit hardest by epidemic of drug use in China. Objective To investigate the co-prevalence of SUD and a common mental disorder, axisⅠdisorders, among Yunnan's drug users. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among a convenient sample of 598 male drug users who received detoxification treatment from the 5th Compulsory Detention and Forced Detoxification Center of Yunnan Province and Dali Compulsory Detention and Forced Detoxification Center between August and November, 2020. According to the diagnosis of SUD, the participants were divided into three groups: opioid use disorder group (n=245) , methamphetamine use disorder group (n=197) and double use disorder group (n=146) . The Chinese version of SCID-Ⅰ/P was used to assess the prevalence of common axisⅠmental disorders (psychosis disorder, affective disorder, alcohol use disorder, and sedative-hypnotic use disorder) . The lifetime prevalence of these disorders among the three groups was compared. Results Among the 598 cases, there were 588 cases diagnosed with SUD (opioid, methamphetamine, or both) . The lifetime prevalence of psychosis disorder, alcohol use disorder, sedative and hypnotic use disorder among the three groups was significantly different (P < 0.05) . The overall lifetime prevalence of schizophrenia, other primary and drug induced psychotic disorders was 15.82%. The lifetime prevalence of psychotic disorder in opioid use disorder group (5.31%) was lower than that of methamphetamine use disorder group (20.30%) or that of double use disorder group (27.40%) (P

Lactic acid bacteria are widespread in nature, with rich species diversity, and are widely used in the food, feed and clinical medicine. Currently, the majority of probiotics are lactic acid bacteria. Recently, the whole-genome sequencing is booming, which has greatly promoted the development and application of LAB. Based on the whole genome information of lactic acid bacteria, it can systematically and comprehensively understand the metabolic characteristics, potential probiotic functions and application directions of strains, and can more accurately explore the inheritance, evolution and classification of lactic acid bacteria. The safety evaluation procedure of lactic acid bacteria requires searching whether there are genes related to drug resistance, virulence, and pathogen at the genome level, and determining whether the related genes can be transferred horizontally. It can efficiently and completely determine the genetic stability of lactic acid bacteria in the process of industrial application, using whole-genome sequencing technology to compare the differences of genomes of different generations strains. Reconstruction of the genome-scale metabolic network model can predict the behavior of organisms under specific conditions and systematically guide metabolic engineering of microbial. This article reviews the application status of whole-genome sequencing in metabolic characteristics, genetic, evolution, safety and stability of lactic acid bacteria, aiming to provide theoretical support for the genome of lactic acid bacteria.

In order to explore the vacuum drying characteristics of yam slices, a drying model was established. Vacuum drying tests were carried out under different drying temperature (40, 50, 60, 70, 80 ℃), vacuum degree (0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.06, 0.07 MPa) and slice thickness (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 mm). BP neural network model and Weibull distribution function were used to fit the experimental data, and the effective moisture diffusivity coefficient, drying activation energy were calculated. The results showed that the temperature (P=7.56×10−11) and slice thickness (P=1.82×10−6) had significant effect on the drying time, but the vacuum degree (P=0.32) had no significant effect on it. The average relative error of BP neural network model was 3.08%, which was lower than that of Weibull distribution function by 10.7%. BP neural network was more suitable to describe the vacuum drying process of yam slices. The effective moisture diffusivity coefficients ranged from 4.0042×10−9 to 3.4652×10−8 m2/s, which was greatly affected by temperature and slice thickness. The drying activation energy was 33.802 kJ/mol. This study would provide theoretical basis for vacuum drying of yam slices.

Background and objective Thymomas are the most common primary malignant tumors of anterior mediastinal. However, there are no specific laboratory indicator for the diagnosis the diagnosis of thymoma. The aim of this study was to screen out a tumor marker for diagnosis of thymoma by mRNA microarray analysis and confirmed it. Methods By mRNA microarray analysis of 31 thymomas and peritumoral thymic tissues, we found that the transcription level of neuronal pentraxin 1 (NPTX1) gene was up-regulated more than 4 times in thymomas. To further verify the above results, we detected the transcription and expression level of NPTX1 in 60 thymoma and 30 thymic cyst patients by quantitative Real-Time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), immunohistochemistry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Aiming at the problems of strong subjectivity, complicated calculation procedures and inadequate analysis in traditional reservoir evaluation, the application of the Slack Based Measure model of Data Envelopment Analysis (SBM-DEA model) in comprehensive quantitative evaluation of reservoir was discussed.It is shown that this model has the following advantages:① It could take into account of both the positive and negative related indicators, and is more objective that there is no need to determine the evaluation criterion and index weights by subjective analysis in advance; ②Taking the linear programming as the tool, it could simplify the calculation procedure that it does not have to standardize the evaluation indexes; ③ The evaluation result is between 0-1 naturally, and it can be not only used for sorting and classification of evaluation units, but also providing the reason that units are not efficient as well as the suggestion on how to improve them.The new method was applied in early low-permeability gas reservoir evaluation on the lower section of the eighth member of Shihezi Formation(Middle Permain) in SuX region of Sulige gasfield.Four types of reservoir are classified in the study area and the type Ⅰ and Ⅱ would be the favorable targets.The new evaluation results obtained generally accorded with the traditional fuzzy comprehensive reservoir evaluation results, and showed good consistence with practical field production and geological knowledge.At the same time, the main advice on insufficiency and improvements for this case was given.It is proved that this evaluation method is reliable and practical in application, and provides new thought for similarly effective and objective reservoir evaluation as well.

本研究旨在反省教育學門的知識生產權力關係，聚焦於「新移民子女」教育議題期刊論文，立基於傅柯學派的觀點，針對說什麼／做什麼、誰被說／由誰說、怎麼說／怎麼做展開論述分析，揭露缺陷思維論述如何透過真理政權得以形構、維持並成為正統，同時指陳意見相左的反缺陷思維論述空間，提出三點結論與省思：一、「新移民子女」教育研究出現「母子／女連帶」現象，全面被他者化與問題化；二、教育學門的真理政權合理化缺陷思維論述，形成意識形態多於科學的假科學；三、學門內外的解構與批判有助於反論述之出現，覺察學門的規訓並予以突破。本研究呼籲師資培育者、教育研究者能對所教、所生產的知識之權力關係更為敏覺、保持反思，進而予以轉化，避免複製階級、種族、性別及其交織的不平等。 This study aims to reflect on the power relations of knowledge production in the field of education by focusing on journal articles relevant to the educational issue of “new immigrants’ children.” Based on a Foucauldian perspective, discourse analysis is performed with respect to what is said/done, who is spoken of/who speaks, and how it is said/done. This study exposes how the discourse of deficit thinking is formed, maintained, and becomes orthodox through a regime of truth, while indicating a discursive space for counter-discourse, anti-deficit thinking. This study puts forth three points worth pondering: 1. The phenomenon of “mother-child bonding” appears in the educational research about new immigrants’ children, being completely othered and problematized; 2. Within the field of education, the regime of truth rationalizes the discourse of deficit thinking, forming a pseudoscience wherein ideology is elevated above science; 3. Deconstruction and criticisms within and without the field contributes to the emergence of counter-discourse, raising awareness and breaking through the disciplinary power of the field. This study calls on teacher trainers and educational researchers to be more sensitive to, to continue to reflect upon, and then proceed to transform the power relations of knowledge production in order to avoid reproducing inequalities of class, race, gender, and their intersectionalities.

Objective To establish an array tagged high-throughput sequencing and pre-polyclonal screening strategy for fast identification of genome-edited cell clones. Methods Introducing of G to T point mutation at rs826415 site of K562 cells by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated homologous recombination. The candidate cells were then seeded by 10~20 cells per well in a 96-well-plateand and so to be expanded into 96 polyclones. A two-step nested PCR with array barcoded primers was used to amplify the rs826415 surrounding region to differentially tag PCR product from each polyclone. The PCR products were mixed and subjected to next-generation sequencing to detect the recombination and indel rate for each polyclone. The polyclonal cells carrying the highest ‘homology-directed repair (HDR) without indel’ rate were sorted for monoclonal growth and rs826415 genotyping. Results Polyclonal cells obtained by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated homologous recombination and limiting dilution were screened with array tagged high-throughput sequencing. Ratio of the cells showed ‘HDR without indel’ was determined for each polyclone. Of the 96 polyclones screened, an average ‘HDR without indel’ rate was 0.21%, and the highest rate was 4.35%. Cells in the later were then subjected to monoclonal growth in a new 96-well-plate. In the 30 monoclones obtained, one showed the expected hybrid T/G genotype at the rs826415 site, instead of the G/G genotype in the unmodified K562 cells, indicated successful mono-allele targeting. Conclusions The array tagged high-throughput sequencing strategy, in combination with a pre-polyclonal screening, provides an efficient method for fast identification of genome-edited monoclonal cell. It saves both human and financial resources as compares to conventional screening methods.

In view of the nonlinear channel,the online blind equalization algorithm with echo state network was proposed based on prediction principle.In the proposed algorithm,the traditional linear prediction error filter was replaced by the ESN with good nonlinear mapping ability,and recursive least square (RLS) algorithm was used to calculate the output weight of the network to minimize the network prediction error.Then,the amplitude and phase were adjusted.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the distortion caused by nonlinear channel to the transmitted signal for 16QAM signal,which has lower mean square error and faster convergence speed in comparison with other blind equalization algorithms based on prediction principle.

A new blind equalization algorithm for complex valued signals was proposed based on the framework of complex support vector regression(CSVR).In the proposed algorithm,the error function of multi-modulus algorithm (MMA) was substituted into CSVR to construct the cost function,and the regression relationship was established by widely linear estimation,and the equalizer coefficients were determined by the iterative re-weighted least square (IRWLS) method.Different from spliting the complex valued signals into real valued signals used in support vector regression,the Wirtinger’s calculus was used in complex support vector regression to analyze the complex signals directly in the complex regenerative kernel Hilbert space.Simulation experiments show that for QPSK modulated signals,compared with the blind equalization algorithm based on support vector regression,the equalization performance of the proposed algorithm is significantly improved in linear channel and nonlinear channel by choosing appropriate kernel function and iterative optimization method.

Evaluating reservoirs by pore structure has been widely used in oil and gas development, but this method has not yet been used in the evaluation of potassium salt reservoirs. The pore throat type and structure, capillary pressure curve, and quantitative feature parameters of pore throat of the Paleocene-Cretaceous-rich potassium-rich brine reservoir in Jianghan basin are studied by using a large number of reservoir porosity and pore throat data obtained by Scanning Electron Microscopy and Mercury Intrusion. Combined with the discharge pressure and other experimental parameters, the pore structure is divided into Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ types. The results show that the sandstone reservoirs of the Paleocene Shashi Formation are dominated by type Ⅱ pore structure with the average displacement pressure of 2.72 MPa and the average porosity of 6.32%. The sandstone reservoirs of the Cretaceous Honghuatao Formation are dominated by Ⅰ and Ⅱ pore structure types. The displacement pressure of type Ⅰ is 0.28 MPa, the average porosity is 16.99%, and the permeability is 87.79×10-3 μm2. The average displacement pressure of type Ⅱ is 1.103 MPa, the average porosity is 10.02%, and the permeability is 18.83×10-3 μm2. The quality of the reservoir was evaluated by a comprehensive analysis of pore throat quantitative parameters such as maximum mercury saturation, maximum pore throat radius, median radius and mercury recovery efficiency. It is believed that the sandstone type of the Paleocene Shashi Formation is dominated by siltstone, and the quality of the reservoir is poor, which belongs to the low porosity and low permeability reservoir. The sandstone type of the Cretaceous Honghuatao Formation is mainly fine sandstone, and the reservoir is of good quality and belongs to low porosity and low permeability reservoir. This study provides a reliable geological basis for the evaluation of potassium-rich brine reservoirs and for further exploration and development.

Background & Problem: Urinary tract infection (UTI), one of the most common types of healthcare-associated infections, is associated with increased hospital stay durations and healthcare costs. Our unit is located in the internal medicine ward of a medical center. In 2020, infection control data revealed a rise in the UTI rate to 2.03‰, which was higher than the hospital-wide average of 1.52‰. This prompted the initiation of this improvement project. Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop effective solutions to address UTI-related issues, improve the knowledge and skills of nurses and caregivers involved in UTI care, reduce indwelling catheter duration and environmental sources of infection, and, ultimately, decrease the incidence of UTIs in our ward. Resolutions: Through problem analysis, nurses and caregivers were found to lack sufficient UTI-care-related knowledge and skills, leading to an increase in infection cases. A UTI assessment and standardized workflow were developed. Self-learning materials were provided, and regular assessments were conducted. Urine bag labels and bilingual perineal hygiene videos were designed. In addition, an antimicrobial bed scale was developed to reduce the potential sources of infection. Results: Six months after project implementation, a significant improvement was found in the accuracy of UTI care among nurses and caregivers. The average indwelling catheter duration decreased to 4.7 days and the UTI rate dropped to 1.48‰, successfully achieving the project goals. Conclusion: The authors recommend incorporating UTI-prevention knowledge and skills into pre-employment training and promoting the use of antimicrobial bed scales to significantly reduce the incidence of UTIs. 本研究旨在瞭解中等師資培育機構性別教育開課情形，從女性主義觀點探究教育學門與師資培育課程的知識／權力關係。研究發現，性別教育課程位處邊緣，授課教師性別比例傾斜；授課者多把喚醒個人的性別意識視為課程目標之一，甚至是唯一的目標；儘管「個人即政治」之信念備受重視，教職女性化相關主題較少成為獨立的單元內容；性別概念／理論基礎受到重視，但女性主義／婦女運動付之闕如；單一課程有其侷限，分離論或統整論都反映出學門知識與師資培育課程的權力關係。本研究主張認真看待性別平等的價值，師培機構提供更充分的相關課程，教育學者透過模糊化、斷裂與跨越，鬆動學門界線，致力於師資職前教育性別教育課程目標的發展、核心概念的建構、教材與教法的研發。 This study aims to understand the range of courses offered dealing with gender education in secondary teacher education institutions, and to analyze knowledge/power relations in the field of education and teacher education courses from a feminist perspective. The study finds that gender education is marginalized, and the gender ratio of instructors is extremely unbalanced. The majority of instructors emphasize raising gender consciousness as an important and sometimes even sole objective. Although the belief that “the personal is political” is stressed, issues related to the feminization of teaching are rarely treated independently. Most syllabi deal with concepts fundamental to gender, but very few include units on feminism or women’s movements. Both separationist and integrationist views reflect power relations within disciplinary knowledge and teacher education curricula. This article argues that the value of gender equity should be taken more seriously, and that a more complete range of gender-related courses be offered in teacher education programs. Educational scholars need to loosen disciplinary boundaries, in order to develop curricular objectives, construct core concepts, and develop teaching materials and methods for gender education in teacher education.

Taking the J19 dense well network area in the Fuyu Oilfield as a case, combined with field outcrop and modern shallow water delta sedimentary model and using coring and logging data, this paper puts forward a comprehensive analysis method for reservoir architecture of deltaic front underwater distributary channel single sand body. The causes and sedimentary evolution mechanisms for foresets of retained type, destructive type and the mixed type and for foreset sandbodies of prograding type, retrograding type and aggrading type are summarized. The calibration of rock and logging, fitting formula, dense spacing wells and pair wells data are used to ascertain the foresets and foreset sandbodies. The models of three-dimensional reservoir architecture are set up. The analysis of remaining oil shows that foreset controls the vertical distribution of the remaining oil, while in the internal of foreset sandbodies, the remaining oil is enriched in the updip direction. A practical low-density parity-check(LDPC) coded unitary space-time modulation (USTM) noncoherent MIMO communication system over Rayleigh flat fading and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel was con-structed, where the LDPC code is selected from IEEE 802.16e Standard and USTM is constructed by the unitary matrix based on the sinc-cosinc function, SC-USTM for short. At the receiver, the maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) de-modulating algorithm of the SC-USTM was first designed; for reducing the complexity of MAP demodulator, the dual demodulator was then conceived; for improving the performance, the iterative feedback between the belief propagation (BP) decoder and the MPA demodulator was finally introduced. The simulation test shows that the system of the LDPC coded SC-USTM is superior to the uncoded SC-USTM about 15～17 dB at BER10−5, and this system has very low complexity.

本文旨在探究高中學生的類組選擇，聚焦在性別如何對類組選擇產生影響。以南部地區一所男女合校的公立高級中學為研究場域，在三個類組中各選一個班級進行分組焦點團體訪談，根據訪談所得資料加以分析、提出詮釋與進行討論。本文主張高中階段的類組選擇是學校教育的性別政權機制之一，看似按照個人興趣、能力所做的自由選擇，卻反映社會中的性別權力關係，高中學生將學科╱知識二分為硬與軟兩個位階，透過「男生擅理、女生擅文」的論述，建構知識的性別關係，具體而言，一類學科在知識位階中的低下與女性在性別關係裡的從屬連結，二、三類學科在知識位階中的優越與 男性在性別關係裡的主控連結，形成學校中性別政權的一個面向，由此引伸出對性別平等教育的研究與實務之啟示。 This article is to inquire the choice made by senior high school students about the major subject area, particularly focusing on how gender influences their choice. A co-educational public high school in the southern part of Taiwan was selected and one class for each major participated. Focus group interviews were conducted and data were analyzed, interpreted and discussed. This article argues that choosing the major subject area in the senior high school stage serves as a mechanism of gender regime in schools. The choice appears as if one exercised one’s own free will in accordance with their interest and ability. Indeed, it reflects the gender relations in society at large. Senior high school students dichotomize subjects/knowledge into a hierarchal order and, through the discourse that boys are good at science and girls are good at literature, construct the gender relations of knowledge. Implications for research and practice in the field of gender equity education are drawn.

In Taiwan, students' guidance work has been formalized and professionalized; however, the real situation remains uncertain. This study investigated students' guidance work and guidance teachers' professional identity in junior high school. An institutional ethnographic interview was adopted, and 19 teachers with experience of more than 5 years were recruited using both purposive and snowball sampling. The results indicated that junior high school guidance work exhibits uncertainty and invisibility. Uncertainty was indicated by the following findings: (1) the implementation of tertiary prevention is challenging; (2) the work is all-encompassing, and it is difficult to draw the boundary; and (3) guidance work entails emergency handling. Invisibility was indicated by the following findings: (1) teachers' guidance work is unknown and misunderstood; (2) the effect of teachers' guidance work is slow, and the evaluation criteria are vague; and (3) the tendency to self-reflect inward and prove outward leads to more invisibility. The development of guidance teachers' professional identity is a dynamic process. Guidance teachers exhibit agency and resilience by being proactive to overcome structural vulnerability and work one's magic to cooperate in the system. Moreover, they face themselves honestly by strengthening their belief in the value of their work and caring for themselves to clarify their life issues. This study highlights the following: (1) the formalization and professionalization of guidance work and its dilemma, and (2) the dynamic negotiation and self-positioning of guidance teachers' professional identity. The educational authorities and teacher education institutions should stress systematic thinking and action to penetrate obstacles; moreover, they should care for the health and well-being of junior high school guidance teachers and strengthen their resilience. Background: Night-shift work affects the physical and mental health of employees. Early identification of relevant high-risk groups may be referenced in health promotion, job analysis, and job design. Purpose: To explore the differences in workplace fatigue, physiological index of metabolic syndrome, and risk of cardiovascular disease between long-term and non-long-term night-time working nursing staff. Methods: The health examination data of 91 long-term and 119 non-long-term night-shift nurses were collected. A sub-data analysis approach was used and t-test, chi-square, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression were used to conduct statistical analysis. Results: A positive correlation between cardiovascular risk and workplace fatigue was found in the long-term nightshift working group. Moreover, a lower average duration of sleep was found in the non-long-term night-shift working group. Finally, the participants with workplace fatigue and metabolic syndrome were found to have higher levels of cardiovascular risk. Conclusion / Implications for Practice: Nursing staff who work night shifts for long-term and non-long-term periods should all receive regular health check-ups and practice healthy eating, exercise, and sleep habits. Employers should provide regular health checkups to their nursing staff and implement measures to identify health hazards in accordance with laws on labor standards, occupational safety, and health and labor health protection regulations, and then adopt appropriate plans and necessary safety and health measures to achieve a mutually beneficial result for both employers and employees in the healthcare industry. Background: Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological diseases in children. Sleep disorders tend to increase the risk of seizures, and research has found that moderate physical activity may improve the quantity and quality of sleep in adults. However, the link between physical activity level and sleep patterns in toddlers and preschool-age children with epilepsy remains unclear. Purpose: To explore the association between level of physical activity and sleep patterns in toddlers and preschoolage children with epilepsy. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational study was conducted. Ninety-eight children with epilepsy (1.5--6 years old) wore an actigraph for seven days. Additional data were collected using a health information datasheet, Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ), and sleep diary, all of which were completed by the parents of each child. Results: The results showed that the mean amount of time spent in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity per day was 36.00 ± 49.20 minutes and that only 23 children (23.5%) had a nighttime sleep efficiency greater than 85%. The overall CSHQ score (56.00 ± 5.69) indicated the presence of moderate to severe sleep disturbances. Multiple regression analysis showed the hours and percentage of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity to be positively associated with night sleep efficiency (β = .54, p < .01; β = .51, p < .01) and negatively associated with nighttime sleep hours (β = -.55, p < .01; β = -.52, p < .01), even after controlling for potential confounders. Conclusions/Implications for Practice: Based on the findings, the sleep patterns and physical activity of children with epilepsy should be regularly assessed. Furthermore, appropriately increasing the duration of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity may improve sleep efficiency and prevent reductions in the duration of night sleep. Preterm infants face increased rates of mortality and developmental complications, which are a burden on children's parents (and caregivers), who suffer from exhaustion and situational uncertainty. This case focused on an extremely-low-birth-weight (908 gm) premature infant with initial unstable vital signs complicated by a grade 4 intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) that led to partial brain atrophy and enlarged brain ventricles. A poor neurological outcome was expected due to the high risk of cerebral palsy and impaired cognitive abilities. Long-term healthcare for this critical infant was causing tremendous physical, emotional, and financial strains on the family. The parents suffered from worries over the poor prognosis, resulting in stress, sleep disorders, and relationship difficulties with the healthcare professionals. Considering the poor prognosis of the infant, the parents faced a medical dilemma between choosing aggressive treatment and withdrawal of treatment, which led to stress and sleep disorders. Differences between the parents and health professionals regarding disease severity perception and treatment opinions further strained their mutual relationship. To ameliorate this issue, the author implemented family-centered care (the FOCUS family intervention) to help the patient and his family. This intervention is designed to increase family involvement, foster an optimistic attitude and effective stress coping techniques, and reduce uncertainty and negative emotions. For the patient, we provided symptom-relief management to improve abnormal muscle tone and development delay. Our intervention ameliorated the negative emotions, insomnia symptoms, and imbalanced family relationships and improved the life quality of the caregivers. Furthermore, the intervention enhanced the patient's autoregulatory ability, and both physical and neurological development. This case study is expected to provide experience in critical care for premature infants with a poor prognosis and their family using a FOCUS family intervention as well as to improve the quality of healthcare delivery in intensive clinical settings. Background & Problems: Clinical ladder (CL)-3 nurses should have both an ability to integrate the clinical information of critically ill patients and to carry out the administrative work of the intensive care unit. However, in our unit, only 15.3% of nurses hold CL-3 certification, which is much lower than the hospital average of 23.1%. Thus, we initiated a project to raise this percentage in our unit. An analysis in January 2016 showed that the main obstacles to obtaining CL-3 certification in our unit were inability to write case reports, inadequate in-service education, and a lack of certified educators. Purpose: The purpose of this project was to increase the number of CL-3-certified nurses in our intensive care unit. Resolution: The resolution included holding courses on case report writing, briefings, and oral presentation techniques; assigning a preceptor to make nursing staff assignments; encouraging nurses to participate in the clinical nursing preceptor education training camp; and conducting practice tests using a multiple assessment tool. Results: After implementation of this project, the percentage of unit nurses who had passed CL-3 increased to 39.0%. Conclusions: This project not only allowed our fellow nurses to share in the joy of clinical ladder advancement but also improved the atmosphere in the unit by encouraging self-development. Shallow lakes, sensitive to environmental changes due to low environmental carrying capacity, generally experience decreases in ecosystem function and even regime shifts after overexploitation. Surface sediments of 18 shallow lakes in Yunnan were collected and analyzed to identify the spatial pattern and the influencing factors of cladoceran communities. The results showed that there was significant heterogeneity in the spatial distribution of cladocera in those lakes. For example, the cladoceran community was generally dominated by benthic taxa in alpine lakes, while there was a clear replacement of benthic cladocerans by planktonic ones with increasing nutrient levels across lakes from Southeast Yunnan. Altitude and total phosphorus were the main driving factors, which independently explained 22.0% and 7.7% of the change in cladocera communities, respectively. The altitude gradient and related changes in climate and catchment features were the main factors in structuring cladocerans for shallow lakes of Yunnan, while the anthropogenic impacts on cladoceran distribution was significant via the processes such as catchment development, pollutant input and macrophyte changes. Meanwhile, the interaction between elevation and total phosphorus explained 26.3% of the total variance in cladoceran community shift, indicating that the increase in human activity intensity in lakes at lower altitudes would have stronger impact on cladocerans through anthropogenic nutrient inputs. Background: Discharge planning services have been shown to increase the quality of patient care and to help patients better handle care-related issues. However, the literature related to patient readiness for discharge and its related factors is scarce. Purpose: This study was designed to explore the discharge readiness of patients with cerebrovascular disease (CVD) and the factors related to this readiness. Methods: Using a cross-sectional study design, 304 CVD patients were recruited from a medical center in southern Taiwan. The structural questionnaire of the Chinese version of the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS-C) was used to collect data. Results: A total of 91.4% participants reported at two-weeks post-discharge that they perceived at least a middle level of pre-discharge preparation for discharge. The top three subscales scores for discharge readiness were: expected support, personal status, and coping ability. The regression model indicated that six predictors, including living alone, living with families after discharge, limb hemiplegia, Modified Rankin Scale score, Karn of sky level 0 to 2, and with tube in dwelling, contributed significantly to discharge readiness, accounting for 63.0% of the total variance. Conclusions / Implications for Practice: The results of the present study assist healthcare professionals to understand the predictors of discharge readiness. Healthcare providers should provide professional education and information to CVD patients and promote discharge readiness among their patients during admission and discharge assessment periods. The present study suggests that the self-perceived discharge readiness of patients may be used to evaluate patient discharge readiness prior to discharge in order to ensure that patients are well prepared when they are eventually discharged. In the digital age, website is one of the best tools that people use to access information. University library website is recognized as an extension service of physical library, and it becomes the important role between libraries and their users. The design of website labels provides visual and cognitive cues, and brings the efficient channels between users and the website contents. Website designers should seriously take the problem into consideration of how to diminish the gaps between the user cognitions and the website labels, in order to enhance websites findability. The purpose of this study is to explore how to construct university library website labels to enhance their findability in order to improve the efficiency of users' accessing website information. This study takes three main steps. Card sorting is applied in the first step. Users need to classify 67 card items through group discussion. Its aim is to collect the users' opinion about classification, and then to follow by cluster analysis via UX SORT software to generate a tree diagram. In second step, three different background of participants included general users, librarians and researchers have to name the node labels according to the website structure constructed from the first step. In third step, we conduct the findability experiments to record the cost of time, paths (clicks) and suitability of testers when they accomplish their five missions. Finally, we apply statistics software SPSS to analyze the collected test data and give their findability evaluations. We try to compare the differences among the three website structures constructed by different naming node labels from different background providers. The results of this study show that the contents of node labels named from different background providers are quite differently. The characteristics of general users' labels are simple and direct. The librarians' labels tend to use more professional terms. The researchers' labels are for both professional and can meet the awareness of the users. The statistical analysis shows the website structures of different node labels are significant differences named from general users, librarians and researchers. The node labels named from researchers in time, the paths and the suitability are better than librarians and general users, cause it is not only accord with the user's requirements, but enhance the findability of the website. Background & Problems: An adverse medication event involving a continuous drug infusion dosage error was reported in the infant intensive care unit of our hospital in 2010. The causes of this adverse medication event were elicited in the healthcare network using root cause analysis. These causes included incomplete procedures and incorrect prescription, an incomplete procedure of medication in continuous drug infusion, complex procedures in confirming prescription, the transcription of doctor's orders and prescription (i.e., kardex), and deficient knowledge of medication procedures exhibited by clinical nurses. Purposes: The main purpose of this project was to achieve a 100% completion rate for nurse administrations of continuous intravenous medication and zero adverse medication events. Resolutions: Strategies included simplifying the prescription verification process, establishing regulations for drug prescription, standardizing the steps required for continuous intravenous medication administration, developing the dosage criteria for continuous intravenous medication, and developing a double-check mechanism for high-risk medications. In addition, relevant nurse's continuous educational programs were provided to help nurses effectively implement drug administration. Results: The completion rate for administering the medication steps has increased to 99% and the compliance rate for pediatricians' orders regarding medication prescription has increased to 96%. Furthermore, no additional adverse medication events were observed after the intervention. Conclusion: This project established a systemic drug administration mechanism to promote communication and cooperation among healthcare teams and further enhanced medication safety and quality for infants. Childbirth, connecting the stages of pregnancy and postpartum, deeply affects maternal motivation with regard to initiating and continuing postnatal breastfeeding and ultimate breastfeeding success. Although promoting breastfeeding is a strategy critical to achieving wellbeing in both mothers and infants, there remains a lack of professional attention and related research into the effect of childbirth on breastfeeding. Promoting successful breastfeeding is a central component of childbirth-friendly nursing care. Therefore, this paper introduces the origin and concepts of mother-and-infant-friendly childbirth, then analyzes the influences on breastfeeding of medicalized birth practices and suggests how to implement childbirth-friendly interventions. This paper was written to help nurses better understand how the childbirth process affects breastfeeding and provide a reference for creating conditions during childbirth that encourage successful breastfeeding practices. Heavy metal is an important environmental stress that threatens water quality and ecological health of surface waters. Therefore, it is vital to identify the responses of lake community to long-term pollution for sustainable ecological restoration of polluted lakes. From June 2017 to March 2018, we conducted a seasonal survey of phytoplankton and environmental factors in Datun Lake, which had a decadal history of tailing-related arsenic contamination. Consistent with results from previous studies, phytoplankton were dominated by As-tolerant taxa such as Cyanophyta. Results of the analysis of similarities and analysis of variance showed that there were significant temporal variations in phytoplankton community structure and biomass, but without spatial variation. Results of the Pearson correlation analysis demonstrated that the total phytoplankton biomass was positively related to lake-water soluble orthophosphate and arsenic, which was consistent with the differential effect of arsenic on algae growth ( e.g . promotion at low concentration and suppression at high concentration). The increases of phosphate might alleviate the toxic impacts of arsenic on phytoplankton. Redundancy analysis showed that the soluble nutrients and arsenic were significant factors driving phytoplankton community variations. The results of variation partitioning demonstrated that nutrients and water temperature explained 17.6% and 3.8% of community variations, respectively, with strong interaction with arsenic (15.1%). Arsenic did not affect phytoplankton community assembly, indicating that the dominant algae were tolerant to arsenic and thus highly insensitive to the arsenic stress. Therefore, the seasonal variations of phytoplankton dominated by As-tolerant algae in Datun demonstrated that the low-As promotion effect on phytoplankton should be considered in ecological restoration of polluted lakes.

Shallow lakes, sensitive to environmental changes due to low environmental carrying capacity, generally experience decreases in ecosystem function and even regime shifts after over-exploitation. Surface sediments of 18 shallow lakes in Yunnan were collected and analyzed to identify the spatial pattern and the influencing factors of cladoceran communities. The results showed that there was significant heterogeneity in the spatial distribution of cladocera in those lakes. For example, the cladoceran community was generally dominated by benthic taxa in alpine lakes, while there was a clear replacement of benthic cladocerans by planktonic ones with increasing nutrient levels across lakes from Southeast Yunnan. Altitude and total phosphorus were the main driving factors, which independently explained 22.0% and 7.7% of the change in cladocera communities, respectively. The altitude gradient and related changes in climate and catchment features were the main factors in structuring cladocerans for shallow lakes of Yunnan, while the anthropogenic impacts on cladoceran distribution was significant via the processes such as catchment development, pollutant input and macrophyte changes. Meanwhile, the interaction between elevation and total phosphorus explained 26.3% of the total variance in cladoceran community shift, indicating that the increase in human activity intensity in lakes at lower altitudes would have stronger impact on cladocerans through anthropogenic nutrient inputs.

Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of malaria prevalence in Danyang City from 2004 to 2015, so as to provide the evidence for formulating the strategy of prevention and control of malaria., Methods: The data of malaria serum tests, the reported malaria cases from the Internet Reporting System, and the epidemiological case survey from 2004 to 2015 as well as the mosquito monitoring data from 2008 to 2015 were collected and analyzed., Results: From 2004 to 2015, 58 malaria cases were reported in Danyang City, with an average annual incidence rate of 0.6/10 5 . Among the cases reported, vivax malaria accounted for 65.52% (38/58), falciparum malaria accounted for 5.17% (3/58), oval malaria accounted for 1.72% (1/58), and unclassified subtype accounted for 27.59% (16/58). The local infection cases accounted for 31.03% (18/ 58), and the imported cases accounted for 68.97% (40/58). There were no local infections since 2011. Anopheles sinensis , the only malaria vector in Danyang City, was still prevalent, but its density was low., Conclusions: Imported malaria poses a serious threat to the malaria elimination achievements in Danyang City, and the surveillance and disposal of imported malaria need to be strengthened.

The key to the treatment of septic shock is to provide adequate oxygen supply and improve tissue perfusion. Lactate and central venous oxygen saturation (ScvO 2 ) are commonly used as the indices of oxygen metabolism, but tissue hypoxia may still exist even when lactate and ScvO 2 are within the normal range. Arteriovenous difference in carbon dioxide partial pressure (CO 2 gap) can accurately reflect oxygen delivery when ScvO 2 is in the normal range. This article reviews the advantages and shortages of lactate, lactate clearance rate, ScvO 2 , and CO 2 gap in evaluating tissue hypoxia, in order to provide a reference for treatment and severity evaluation of septic shock.

Quartz sand was selected as collector and saturated packed column was constructed to explore the effects of environmental factors (humic acid, pH and ionic strengths of the bulk solution) on the transport and fate of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (Nano-HAP) through measuring zeta potentials and representative c(i)/c(0) of Nano-HAP. It was suggested that zeta potentials of Nano-HAP colloids became more negative with increasing humic acid concentration and the change in solution composition from 0 to 10 mg/L humic acid yielded an increase in the zeta potentials of Nano-HAP colloids from -15 mV to -55 mV and a sharp decrease in a (attachment efficiency) from 1.0 to 0.012, meanwhile, the increase in bulk solution pH yielded a slight decrease in a which enhancing its transportation in saturated packed column. However, zeta potentials of Nano-HAP colloids became less negative as the ionic strength of bulk solution increased due to the compression of diffuse double layer and yielded an increase in a which greatly impeded its mobility during the pore-water solution, meanwhile, divalent cations have significantly stronger influence on the transport of Nano-HAP than monovalent cations of the bulk solution. The increase in the concentration of monovalent cation (Na+) from 1 to 100 mmol/L yielded an increase in a from 0.030 to 0.13, and divalent cations (Ca2+) from 0.2 to 10 mmol/L yielded a greatly increase in alpha from 0.030 to 1.0. It is important to note that the results could considerably contribute to gain insights in the transport and fate of Nano-HAP in natured and engineered porous media.

Objective: To explore the predictive values of platinum-related genes in gastric cancer patients on oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy., Methods: A total of 126 gastric cancer patients received at least 6 cycles of modified FOLFOX4 adjuvant chemotherapy. Single nuclear polymorphisms (SNPs) in ERCC1 Asp118Asp, XRCC1 Arg399Gln, XPD Lys751Gln and GSTP1 Ile105Val were assessed with 5' nuclease allelic discrimination assay (TaqMan) by real-time polymerase chain reaction and direct sequencing. The genotypes were tested for an association with survivals in gastric cancer patients on an oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy regimen., Results: The genotypic analysis of all patients indicated the frequencies for the homozygous wild-type allele, heterozygous and homozygous polymorphic variant: 64.29%, 28.57% and 7.14% for ERCC1-118; 56.35%, 38.89% and 4.76% for XRCC1-399; 84.92%, 15.08% and 0 for XPD-751; and 68.25%, 30.60% and 3.97% for GSTP1-105. Univariate analysis indicated that the ERCC1-118, the XRCC1-399 and the GSTP1-105 SNPs showed the predictive values for RFS (relapse-free survival) (P<0.001, P=0.001 and P<0.001 respectively) and OS (overall survival) (P<0.001, P=0.001 and P=0.019 respectively). A multivariable analysis of Cox proportional hazard regression model suggested that ERCC1-118 had a significant predictive value for RFS (P<0.001, HR=2.362; 95%CI: 1.458-3.827) and OS (P=0.001; HR=2.388; 95%CI: 1.448-3.937) and XRCC1-399 had only a significant predictive value for RFS. And XRCC1-399 (A/A+A/G) genotype could significantly decrease the recurrence risk of patients (P<0.001, HR=0.569; 95%CI: 0.341-0.949)., Conclusion: Gastric cancer patients with ERCC1-118 C/C genotype and XRCC1-399A/G or A/A genotype may benefit from an oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy.
