1. Intention of continuing nursing education of clinical nurses in Macau.

- Abstract
Objectives: To investigate the clinical nurses' intention of participating in the continuing nursing education (CNE) in Macau. Methods: This research was conducted by descriptive method covering 569 nurses who were working in a hospital in Macau and the returns- ratio is 73.1%. Results: among 416 nurses, 83.4% of them had taken part in academic conferences during the past year; 76.9% of them agreed CNE was helpful to clinical nursing; 41.1% of them mentioned that the major factor influencing them to participate in CNE was having not enough time. Their nursing development tendency mostly toward clinical practice and specialty nursing occupied 29.6% and 28.1% respectively. Conclusion: the nurses are positive in participating in CNE.
