MoS2@Fe3O4 composite was fabricated via two-step hydrothermal method, utilizing cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) as a soft template, thioacetamide as a sulfur source, and sodium molybdate as a molybdenum source. The morphology and structure of MoS2@Fe3O4 were analyzed by SEM and XRD. The efficiency and mechanism of catalytic degradation of iodoprolol(IPM) by MoS2@Fe3O4/H2O2 system was evaluated. The results showed that Fe3O4 was deposited on the surface of MoS2, and MoS2@Fe3O4 had a uniformly dispersed flower ball structure, which provided more catalytic active sites. Under the conditions of initial pH of 4, MoS2@Fe3O4 dosage of 0.15 g/L, H2O2 concentration of 0.5 mmol/L, and IPM concentration of 5 μmol/L, the degradation rate of IPM by MoS2@Fe3O4/H2O2 system reached 89.85% after 30 minutes of reaction. Compared with Fe3O4/H2O2 system, the degradation rate of IPM increased by about 12%. The applied magnetic field facilitated the reusability of MoS2@Fe3O4. The main active species for IPM degradation by the MoS2@Fe3O4/H2O2 system were ·OH and 1O2. The degradation rate of the MoS2@Fe3O4/H2O2 system on IPM remained stable over 80% after 6 cycles, suggesting that MoS2@Fe3O4 had good stability.

Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a classical layered transition metal sulfide, which exhibits excellent performance as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. In this research, hollow spherical nano-MoS2 was synthesized by thermal decomposition, and then the carbon coated MoS2 was prepared with dopamine hydrochloride as carbon source. Various characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, and Raman spectroscopy were used to analyze the composition and structure of MoS2/C nano-composites. The size of MoS2/C nanocomposites is 150-250 nm and the thickness of carbon layer is 40-70 nm. The hollow spherical structure of nano MoS2 can effectively alleviate the intense volume change during cycling. The coating of carbon layer on the surface can effectively improve the conductivity of MoS2, and enhance the structural stability. As a result, this novel ordered structure delivers a high initial specific capacity of 1 132.1 mAh/g and remain 587.4 mAh/g over 50 cycles, thus exhibiting great potential as an anode composite structure for durable high-rate lithium-ion batteries. The Gibbs free energy of H+ adsorption on transition metal sulfide MOS2 is close to zero, considered to be a promising cocatalyst for hydrogen production. However, the limited exposure of the active sites of MoS, co catalyst limits the activity. In this work, Ni-BT)C microspheres was chosen as Ni sources and templates to synthesize nickel doped MoS, cocatalyst via a hydrothermal method. The co catalyst can significantly improve the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of ZnIn2S1. The optimized photo catalyst (labelled as NMS/ZTS-10) exhibits the highest hydrogen evolution rate of 4.17 mmol/(g • h), which is 12.26 times and 2.72 times of pure ZnIn2S1 and MOS2/ZnIn2S1 photo catalysts, respectively. In addition, NMS/ZTS-10 also exhibits significantly enhanced toxic Cr (VT) reduction activity due to the promoted charge separation. The excellent photocatalytic performance of Ni-MoS2/ZnIn2S1 is mainly due to the increase of active sites caused by Ni doping, the enhancement of light absorption ability, the improvement of charge carrier separation, and the extension of electronic lifetime. ObjectiveThe soil moisture content is a crucial factor that directly affected the growth and yield of crops. By using a soil measurement instrument to measure the soil's moisture content, lots of powerful data support for the development of agriculture can be provided. Furthermore, these data have guiding significance for the implementation of scientific irrigation and water-saving irrigation in farmland. In order to develop a reliable and efficient soil moisture sensor, a new capacitive soil moisture sensor based on microfabrication technology was proposed in this study. Capacitive moisture sensors have the advantages of low power consumption, good performance, long-term stability, and easy industrialization.MethodThe forked electrode array consists of multiple capacitors connected in parallel on the same plane. The ideal design parameters of 10 μm spacing and 75 pairs of forked electrodes were obtained by calculating the design of forked finger logarithms, forked finger spacing, forked finger width, forked finger length, and electrode thickness, and studying the influence of electrode parameters on capacitance sensitivity using COMSOL Multiphysics software. The size obtained an initial capacitance on the order of picofarads, and was not easily breakdown or failed. The sensor was constructed using microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology, where a 30 nm titanium adhesion layer was sputtered onto a glass substrate, followed by sputtering a 100 nm gold electrode to form a symmetrical structure of forked electrodes. Due to the strong adsorption capacity of water molecules of the MoS2 (molybdenum disulfide) layer, it exhibited high sensitivity to soil moisture and demonstrated excellent soil moisture sensing performance. The molybdenum disulfide was coated onto the completed electrodes as the humidity-sensitive material to create a humidity sensing layer. When the humidity changed, the dielectric constant of the electrode varied due to the moisture-absorbing characteristics of molybdenum disulfide, and the capacitance value of the device changed accordingly, thus enabling the measurement of soil moisture. Subsequently, the electrode was encapsulated with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer film. The electrode encapsulated with the microporous film could be directly placed in the soil, which avoided direct contact between the soil/sand particles and the molybdenum disulfide on the device and allowed the humidity sensing unit to only capture the moisture in the soil for measuring humidity. This ensured the device's sensitivity to water moisture and improved its long-term stability. The method greatly reduced the size of the sensor, making it an ideal choice for on-site dynamic monitoring of soil moisture.Results and DiscussionsThe surface morphology of molybdenum disulfide was characterized and analyzed using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). It was observed that molybdenum disulfide nanomaterial exhibited a sheet-like two-dimensional structure, with smooth surfaces on the nanosheets. Some nanosheets displayed sharp edges or irregular shapes along the edges, and they were irregularly arranged with numerous gaps in between. The capacitive soil moisture sensor, which utilized molybdenum disulfide as the humidity-sensitive layer, exhibited excellent performance under varying levels of environmental humidity and soil moisture. At room temperature, a humidity generator was constructed using saturated salt solutions. Saturated solutions of lithium chloride, potassium acetate, magnesium chloride, copper chloride, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and potassium sulfate were used to generate relative humidity levels of 11%, 23%, 33%, 66%, 75%, 84%, and 96%, respectively. The capacitance values of the sensor were measured at different humidity levels using an LCR meter (Agilent E4980A). The capacitance output of the sensor at a frequency of 200 Hz ranged from 12.13 pF to 187.42 nF as the relative humidity varied between 11% to 96%. The sensor exhibited high sensitivity and a wide humidity sensing range. Additionally, the frequency of the input voltage signal had a significant impact on the capacitance output of the sensor. As the testing frequency increased, the response of the sensor's system decreased. The humidity sensing performance of the sensor was tested in soil samples with moisture content of 8.66%, 13.91%, 22.02%, 31.11%, and 42.75%, respectively. As the moisture content in the soil increased from 8.66% to 42.75%, the capacitance output of the sensor at a frequency of 200 Hz increased from 119.51 nF to 377.98 nF, demonstrating a relatively high sensitivity. Similarly, as the frequency of the input voltage increased, the capacitance output of the sensor decreased. Additionally, the electrode exhibited good repeatability and the sensitivity of the sensor increased significantly as the testing frequency decreased.ConclusionsThe capacitive soil moisture sensor holds promise for effective and accurate monitoring of soil moisture levels, with its excellent performance, sensitivity, repeatability, and responsiveness to changes in humidity and soil moisture. The ultimate goal of this study is to achieve long-term monitoring of capacitance changes in capacitive soil moisture sensors, enabling monitoring of long-term changes in soil moisture. This will enable farmers to optimize irrigation systems, improve crop yields, and reduce water usage. In conclusion, the development of this innovative soil moisture sensor has the potential to promote agricultural modernization by providing accurate and reliable monitoring of soil moisture levels.

A simple one-step hydrothermal method to synthesize interlayer-expanded molybdenum disulfide microflowers (E-MoS2) by increasing the proportion of thiourea in the reactant was proposed. In the method, ammonium thiocyanate, the product of thiourea conversion in hydrothermal reaction, is embedded into the interlayer of MoS2 formed in situ to expand the layer spacing, which avoids the complex synthesis process of traditional E-MoS2 and the introduction of foreign species and templates. The E-MoS2 reveals a small Tafel slope of 68.5 mV/dec and a low overpotential of 285 mV at -10 mA/cm2, markedly lower than those of initial MoS2 counterpart (122.2 mV/dec and 588 mV, respectively), indicating its excellent hydrogen evolution performance. Compared with the original MoS2, the enhanced hydrogen evolution performance of E-MoS2 can be attributed to the following reasons: the expansion of interlayer spacing optimizes the electronic structure of MoS2, thereby improving its conductivity and reducing the hydrogen adsorption free energy; the in situ intercalation of ammonium thiocyanate inhibits the growth and reduces the size of microflowers during the synthesis process, thus exposing more active sites for E-MoS2. Therefore, the E-MoS2 is expected to be a promising non-noble metal electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction.

In recent years, due to the development of nuclear power and other industries, the pollution of heavy metals and radionuclides in water cannot be ignored, and the demand for clean water has become an important issue of global concern. Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2 ) nanomaterials have attracted much attention in the fields of sterilization, hydrogen storage, water purification,etc. Membrane technology has become one of the options for the removal of heavy metals and radionuclides from water based on the advantages of simple operation and high efficiency. In this paper, the research progress of MoS2-based nanomaterials and membranes in removing heavy metals and radionuclides from water is summarized, focusing on MoS2 synthesis and modification methods, the main affect factors and mechanisms of heavy metals and radionuclides removal by MoS2, the preparation of MoS2-modified membranes, and the research progress on removing heavy metals and radionuclides from water by membrane technology, which aims at efficiently removing heavy metals and radionuclides. The electronic structure and optical properties of van der Waals heterostructures with different layers of MoS2 and VS2 stacks were studied by first-principles calculations based on density functional theory. The stability of two heterojunctions at room temperature was verified through ab initio molecular dynamics. In addition, both heterojunctions exhibit p-type Schottky contact. But compared to the heterojunction composed of monolayer MoS2, the barrier height in the heterojunction formed by the stacking of bilayer MoS2 and VS2 significantly decreases from 0. 36 eV to 0. 08 eV, effectively forming a low contact resistance and reducing the energy loss of carrier transport. The calculation of the light absorption spectrum indicates that the heterojunction composed of bilayer MoS2 has higher absorption peaks. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the design of heterojunctions based on MoS2 and their applications in high-performance optoelectronic devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MoS2 nanosheets with different sizes were prepared by ultrasonic liquid phase stripping and used as additives in lithium grease. The morphology, composition and structure of MoS2 nanosheets were characterized by electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometer and thermogravimetric analyzer; the tribological properties of lithium MoS2 grease were investigated by using four-ball friction and wear testing machine. The wear surface morphology of steel ball under MoS2 grease lubrication was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and the lubrication mechanism of MoS2 grease was preliminarily explored. The results show that MoS2 nanosheets show excellent wear resistance and friction reduction performance. When the diameter of the added sheet is 80 nm and the amount is 1.0%(mass fraction), the tribological performance of lithium grease is the best, the maximum no-bite load and sintering load are increased by 55.4% and 61.2% respectively compared with the base grease, and the friction coefficient is decreased by 23.15%. The maximum diameter of wear scar diameter is decreased by 21.13%.The improvement of its tribological properties is mainly related to the tribological protective film composed of various oxides of Fe, FeOOH, MoS2 and related organic matter.

This paper introduces a comprehensive research experiment regarding the synthesis and characterization of electrocatalysts for electrochemical water splitting. In this experiment, the electrocatalysts (Cu-MoS2/CNTs) were prepared by hydrothermal and wet chemical methods. Then, the electrochemical performance of the catalysts was evaluated by voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques, which helped consolidate students' understanding and learning of the concepts of irreversible electrode and overpotential. They are helpful to stimulate students' scientific research interests and improve students' comprehensive experimental abilities through the synthesis and optimization of electrocatalysts. MoS2 composites with different mass fractions of Ag doped (0, 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%) were prepared by hydrothermal method. XRD, SEM, UV-Vis, FT-TR, Raman and catalytic performance analysis were used to test and characterize the crystal structure, microscopic morphology, spectral performance and catalytic performance of Ag-doped MoS2 composite. The results showed that mono-phase hexagonal MoS2 was synthesized by hydrothermal method, and Ag was successfully doped into MoS,. The Ag-doped MoS2 composite was a spherical structure formed by the stacking of nano-sheets. Ag doping increased the diameter of MoS2 nanosphere with the size between 300 and 350 nm. Ag doping induced the crystal form of MoSv to change from 2H-MoSv phase structure to IT-MoS2 phase structure, and the crystal form content of 1 T-MoS2 phase structure increased. The absorption ability of MoS2 composites for visible and ultraviolet light was enhanced, and the absorption strength of MoS2 composites doped with 5 wt% Ag was the highest. The doping of Ag significantly improved the photocatalytic activity of MoS2. When the light was 120 min, the degradation efficiency of 5 wt% Ag-doped MoSv composites for RhB reached the maximum value of 92.79%, which was 129.74% higher than that of pure MoS2. In order to improve the tribological properties of AerMet100 steel, graphite/MoS2/AerMet100 composites were prepared applying powder metallurgy process with AerMet100 steel powder serving as the matrix, and MoS2 and graphite serving as the solid lubricant. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), X - ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) were used to analyze the microscopic morphology, phase composition and contents of the elements of samples, and the friction performance of the composites was tested by the HT1000 high temperature friction and wear testing machine. Meanwhile, the effects of the contents of MoS2 and graphite on the mechanical properties and tribological properties of AerMet100 matrix composites were studied, and the anti - friction and wear - resistant mechanism was also discussed. Results showed that with the increase of graphite content, the mechanical properties and tribological properties of the composites declined. When 6.0 wt.% MoS2 and 2.0 wt.% graphite were added, the tribological properties of AerMet100 matrix composites was the optimal mainly due to the formation of hard phase carbides and lubricating phase sulfides.

To meet the solid lubrication requirements for the connection modules in the first-wall shielding cladding of the international thermonuclear experimental reactor（ITER）, MoS2coatings with low friction are deposited on the A286 nickel-based alloy by unipolar pulsed magnetron sputtering. The effects of processing parameters on the microstructure, morphology, and mechanical properties of the coatings are studied by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and in situ nanomechanical tests and the tribological properties under ambient conditions are determined by ball-on-disk wear tests. The preferred orientations of the MoS2coatings change from（002） to（100） and then back to（002） as the bias voltage is increased. The grain size increases initially and then decreases but the grain size shows a different trend with duty cycles at different pulsed bias voltages. Sample S-2has better bearing capacity and elasticity and the resilience of the optimal coating is 63.45 GPa and hard-elastic ratio is 0.80. When the contact Hertz stress is 1 500 MPa, the coating shows the smallest average friction coefficient（0.054） and wear rate(2.11×10-5 mm³/（Nm）), which is only 5.49% of the substrate. Molybdenum disulfide（MoS2） nanosheets are a promising electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution material that is expected to replace noble metal materials. The disadvantage of molybdenum disulfide is poor electrical conductivity and high energy barrier for hydrogen evolution reaction（HER）. To overcome this shortcoming, we introduce Mo2N, which is simple to prepare and has good conductivity, as a matrix. By the hydrothermal method, MoS2 nanosheets were uniformly grown on the surface of Mo2N particles, which on the one hand increased the conductivity of the material, and on the other hand, the MoS2/MoxN heterostructure formed by MoS2 and Mo2N effectively enhanced the desorption of H2O, thereby improving the HER performance. The structure, morphology and properties of MoS2/MoxN were characterized by X-ray diffractometer（XRD）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）, scanning electron microscope（SEM） and electrochemical workstation. The experimental results show that MoS2 nanosheets grow uniformly on the surface of Mo2N particles to form a heterostructure, and the material obtained by hydrothermal treatment for 12 h has the best performance. MoS2/MoxN was used as the working electrode, and the carbon rod and Ag/AgCl electrode were used as the counter electrode and the reference electrode, respectively, for the HER test. The molybdenum disulfide（MoS2） was loaded on the stainless steel fiber felt（SSFF） by hydrothermal synthesis method to prepare SSFF-MoS2 in this study. The effects of（NH4）6Mo7O24·4H2O concentration, molybdenum-sulfur atomic ratio, reaction time and reaction temperature on the electrochemical performa-nce of SSFF-MoS2 were investigated. Scanning electron microscope（SEM）, energy dispersive spectroscopy（EDS）, fully automatic specific surface, porosity analyzer（BET）, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer（FT-IR）, X-ray powder diffractometer（XRD）, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） were physically characterized to reveal the differences between SSFF-CK and SSFF-MoS2 prepared under optimal conditions. The results show that SSFF-MoS2 prepared at a reactant concentration of 0.005 mol/L, a molybdenum-sulfur atomic ratio of 1∶4, a reaction time of 24 h and a reaction temperature of 180 ℃ had a stronger current response, lower internal resistance and higher exchange current density. The physical characterization results show that MoS2 was successfully loaded on the surface of SSFF, and the specific surface area of the SSFF-MoS2 composite prepared under optimal conditions was 2.14 times that of SSFF-CK. MoS2 with the theoretical capacity of 670 mAh g-1 has a large layer spacing, which is conductive for the insertion/extraction of Na+.However, during the charge/discharge process, MoS2 suffers volume expansion leads to stacks of sheets causing a poor capacity. Synthesis of ultra-small MoS2 flakes and composite with carbon materials can effectively solve the stacks of MoS2 during charge and discharge. In this work, ultrathin/ultrafine MoS2 was synthesized anchored on 3 D nanocarbons using unpurified crude phthalocyanine, the few-layer MoS2 provides more space to alleviate the volume expansion, and the（002） interlayer space of MoS2 is improved to 0.67 nm when immobilized on carbon materials. A series of MoS2/P-C3N4 composite photocatalysts with different content of MoS2 are prepared by in-situ photodeposition of MoS2 on the surface of P-C3N4. The structure of MoS2/P-C3N4 is analyzed by XRD, IR, TEM and PL technologies, and the photocatalytic performance for the degradation of oily wastewater is characterized under visible light irradiation. The results show that the in-situ deposition of MoS2 on the surface of P-C3N4 can not only provide more active sites for photocatalytic reactions, but also effectively inhibit the recombination of the photogenerated charges carriers. Therefore, MoS2/P-C3N4 composite photocatalysts show excellent photocatalytic activity. When the loading content of MoS2 is 6% and the dosage of photocatalysts is 100 mg, the COD of oily wastewater with an initial COD of 160 mg/L can be reduced by 94% after 100 min. FM composite made of Fe2O3 and MoS2 was prepared by methods of co-precipitation and high temperature calcination, which was used as a sort of catalyst applied to the activation of persulfate (PS) for degradation of sulfadiazine (SDZ). To characterize the morphology and structure of FM, instruments of X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used. Thereafter, the effects of the experimental parameters i.e., FM dosage, PS concentration, initial pH, inorganic anions and humic acid, on the degradation of SDZ were investigated, and the results showed that under the condition of FM dosage being 0.4 g/L, PS concentration 1 mmol/L, initial pH 7, and SDZ concentration 20 μmol/L, the degradation rate of SDZ by FM/PS system could attain as high as 100% within 30 min. In addition, the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and free radical quenching experiments showed that the main active factors in the FM/PS system were sulfate radicals (SO4-) and hydroxyl radicals (OH), of which SO4- played the leading role. As far as the mechanism of SDZ degradation by FM/PS system, it was concluded that Mo4+ on MoS2 surface directly catalyzed the PS, and promoted the circulation of Fe3+/Fe2+ in Fe2O3, thus upgrading the performance of Fe2O3 to activate PS. Furthermore, the recycling test result showed that FM had a rather high recycling performance: the degradation rate of SDZ was 69.8% within 40 min after four cycles of recycling. In recent years, antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains have spread rapidly and widely around the world. New antibacterial drugs have emerged to develop. With the development of biological nanotechnology, two-dimensional nanomaterials have become a very promising alternative for the treatment of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Based on the recent literature, the structural features and antibacterial applications of graphene materials (GMs), transition-metal dichalcogedes (TMDs), layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and MXenes were elaborated, the antibacterial mechanisms of those materials were discussed, such as physical/mechanical damage, lipid extraction, oxidative stress, and photothermal/photodynamic effects,etc. Finally, the antibacterial research progress and challenges of two-dimensional nanomaterials were prospected:(1) 2D materials has a unique space structure and excellent biocompatibility, so it can be used as an ideal carrier for antibacterial drugs; (2) the material has photodynamic and photothermal bactericidal effects, so it has a strong potential to cure local skin infections; (3) it can be made into antibacterial coatings to achieve simple in-situ disinfection applying to sterile medical equipment in the future.

In this study, W-MoS2/CS beads were produced by W-MoS2 na no-flower and chitosan (CS), the effect of MoS2 inserting on the morphology and pore structure of composite beads was analyzed,and the adsorption capacity of Pb(II) onto W-MoS2/CS beads were examined by se veral variable s like the pH of the solution, adsorption time, the initial concentration of Pb(II) and coexistence of metal ions during the adsorption process. The results show that: W-MoS2 nanoflowers inserted into the CS gel played a role in fixing and bonding the gel structure, which making the inner structure of beads more solid and the surface of the beads more rough. The W-MoS2/CS beads maintain good pore structure. As the pH value increases in the range of 4 ~ 7, the adsorption capacity of composite beads for Pb ( II ) increased first and then decreased, reaching a maxim urn at pH of 7. The adsorption rate of W-MoS2/CS beads increased sharply before 30 rninutes, and finally reached adsorption equilibrium abo ut 120 minutes. The adsorption of Pb( II) by W-MoS2/CS was well described by the Langmuir isotherm model, which is a typical rnonolayer adsorption, and the theoretical maximum adsorption capacity of W-MoS2/ CS-2 (50 mg MoS2) reached up to 663. 7rng/g,which is much higher than most carbon-based and sulfur-functionalized nanornaterials. At the same tirne, it is found that the W-MoS2/ CS exhibited super selectivity to Pb(II) under the conditions of the coexistence of metal ions. And after 5 regeneration cycles, the adsorption performance of the W-MoS2/CS remained stable, reflecting the excellent reusability of. MoS2 and Ni-MoS2 photocatalytic materials were prepared by hydrothermal method. Using XRD, SEM, UV-Vis, XPS etc. to characterize the morphology, crystal structure, composition and properties of the prepared photocatalytic materials were studied. A 300 W xenon lamp was used as a light source to simulate sunlight irradiating the sample, and the photocatalytic performance of the prepared material to degrade tetracycline was tested. The results showed that the photocatalytic performance of 3% Ni-MoS2 was the best, and the degradation rate of tetracycline after 90 min of reaction was 67.1%. The increase in photocatalytic activity is due to the decrease of the band gap of MoS2 due to the doping of nickel transition metal ions, thereby increasing the utilization rate of visible light and effectively inhibits the recombination of photogenerated carriers. o solve the problems of fast capacity decay and poor rate performance of MoS2 as anode material of sodium-ion batteries (SIBs), herein, a simple one-step hydrothermal method was used to grow MoS2 in situ on the petals biomass carbon (PC) skeleton of kapok, and a layer of polypyrrole (PPy) was coated on the material surface to prepare PC/MoS2@PPy composite. A series of characterization tests, such as SEM, XRD and Raman, were used to analyze the morphology, structure and composition, and the electrochemical performances of the material as the anode material of SIBs were tested by assembling the half-cells. The results show that the MoS2 nanosheets with extended layer-spacing of 0.98 nm are uniformly loaded on the layered-network skeleton of PC, together with the PPy coating layer forming the PC/MoS2@PPy composite. This layered sandwiched structure provides a large number of reactive sites for electrochemical sodium storage and effectively alleviates the volume variation of MoS2 in the long cycling process. The three-dimensional conductive network composed of biomass carbon skeleton and PPy also effectively improves the electrical conductivity of the electrodes and accelerates the reaction kinetics of the electrode material. Therefore, the initial discharge capacity of the electrode is up to 652.9 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g, the specific capacity still remains at 394 mAh/g after 100 cycles and the capacity retention rate is maintained at 91%. Objective It is to research the problem that Mo/Al2 O3 catalyst is highly active for the reaction between H2S and CH4 to produce H2, but couldn't sustain a long term stability especially in a condition of high CH4 content. Methods Two kinds of Mo/Al2 O3 catalysts are compared in term of both H2S and CH4 reaction rates and H2 generation rate varying with reaction time on stream under the conditions of 0. 1 MPa, 800 °C, n ( H2S) n (CH4) = 1 5, and gas hourly space velocity of 20 000 Fr' ; and the various characterization and analysis techniques and methods are also used with SEM, XRD, HRTEM, BET, EA, TG, Raman and NH3-TPD/CO2-TPD. Results The Mo/Cluster Al2O3 catalyst prepared with the cluster structure Al203 as the supporter has a better catalytic activity and stability than the Mo/Com Al203 catalyst obtained with the commercial Al203 supporter. The H2 generation rate over the Mo/Cluster Al2O3 catalyst reached 8.4 mmol/(g • min) in the initial reaction stage, which was 3. 8 times of the Mo/Com Al203 catalyst, and the decrease after 20 h is significantly less than the former; It is found that although the Cluster Al2O, supporter possessed a lower specific surface area, the dispersion of active MoS2 particles supported on Cluster Al2O3 is better and can make MoS2 particles stabilized at high temperatures. Conclusions The reason could be assigned to the suitable acidic and alkaline strength and quantity distributions on the surface of Cluster Al203. Meanwhile, smaller-particle MoS2 has more edge-exposed active sites, which make Mo/Cluster Al2O3 catalyst perform more stable during the H2S/CH4 reforming reaction, and also can inhibit carbon deposition caused by CH4 cleavage to a certain extent. As an emerging two-dimensional layered transition metal disulfide nanomaterial with typical graphene-like structure, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheets have attracted wide attention due to their excellent electrical, optical and thermodynamic properties and their large specific surface area, and it is widely used in the field of electrochemistry. The research status and development trends of MoS2-based hybrid nanomaterials in the fields of electrochemical sensors for life, food, drug, environment and electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction were reviewed.

Hydrogen production by electrolysis is a hot topic in recent years. The electrode catalytic materials are an important factor which would affect the hydrogen evolution reaction. In this paper, three-dimensional NiS2@MoS2 composite (NiS2@MoS2/CC) is successfully synthesized on carbon cloth via two-step hydrothermal method. The NiS2 nanosheets vertically arrange on the carbon cloth to support MoS2 nanoflowers, which is favor in the explosion of the active sites on the edge of MoS2 and provides a fast material transport channel for hydrogen evolution reaction. The synergistic effect owing to the reasonable interface design improves the surface electron state, further resulting in the improved catalytic activity of the NiS2@MoS2/CC composites. The NiS2@MoS2/CC has a large electrochemical active area. In 1 M KOH, the composite exhibits relative low hydrogen evolution overpotential of 106 mV at the current density of 10 mA/cm2 and the small Tafel slope of 61.1 mV/dec, which are far better than those of MoS2/CC and NiS2/CC. The broad spectral photodetector is designed to obtain the electromagnetic wave information of ultraviolet, visible and infrared bands, which are emitted or reflected by the target to accurately identify and analyze the target in various environments. The broad spectral photodetectors are widely used in imaging, medical diagnosis, remote sensing, night vision, environmental monitoring, and artificial intelligence fields. In this paper, a suspended MoS2-RGO-MoS2 photodetector is designed and fabricated by combining the high-efficiency and broad-spectrum optical absorption characteristics of MoS2 with the high-efficiency transport characteristics of RGO. In the unique structure of MoS2-RGO-MoS2, the MoS2 on the upper surface plays a role to absorb incident light, and the MoS2 on the lower surface is able to absorb the transmitted light. This elegant design endows the detector with high-efficiency light capture and improved responsivity. The comparative study of MoS2-RGO-MoS2 photodetector and RGO photodetector shows that the responsivity of MoS2-RGO-MoS2 photodetector is significantly higher than that of RGO photodetector in a wide spectral range from UV (375 nm) to NIR (1550 nm). The highest responsivity of MoS2-RGO-MoS2 photodetector can reach 1006 mA/W and this is of great significance to the practical application of the detector. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The composites of g-C3N4 (GCN), MoS2 and loaded g-C3N4/MoS2 (GCN/MoS2) layered materials and Fe doped GCN/MoS2(Fe/GCNM) hybrid materials are prepared by high temperature calcination and hydrothermal method with melamine, ammonium molybdate and thioureas as raw materials. The morphology, size and structure of nanomaterials are characterized by SEM, TEM, FT-IR and DRS. In addition, the photocatalytic activities are evaluated by the concentration ratio C/C0 of MO solution before and after the degradation and optimized the effect of different catalysts and the dosage of composite catalysts. The results show that compared with pure GCN, GCN/MoS2 and Fe/GCNM significantly improve the photodegradation efficiency toward the MO with the C/C0 of 038, 0.23 and 0.17, respectively. In addition, the reaction rate constant (K) of Fe/GC NM is much higher than that of GCN, GCNM and Fe/GCN, which is attributed to the separation of photogenic electron-hole pairs promoted by the synthesis of Fe and MoS2 composted with GCN and improves the catalytic performance. In this paper. the hollow structure flower-like MoS2 /Fe3O4 composite is prepared by solvothermal method and hydrothermal method. The structural properties of Fe3O4, MoS2 and MoS2 /Fe3O4 are characterized by XRD, XPS, SEM and TEM tests, and the wave-absorbing properties of the samples are calculated by vector network analyzer (VNA). The results show that the composite exhibits better excellent absorption strength, effective absorption bandwidth (<—10 dB). and sample thickness, when the mixture ratio of sample and paraffin is 1:1, And the minimum reflection loss (RL) value reaches —35.25 dB at 14.8 GHz with the thickness of 2.0 mm and the effective absorbing bandwidth is 5.52 GHz (12.48—18.00 GHz). Using ammonium tetrathiomolybdate and hydrazine hydrate as raw materials, the sulfur-vacancy containing MoS2 was synthesized by simple hydrothermal synthesis combined with subsequent ethanol solvothermal treatment, and its hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance was investigated. The electrochemical performance was calculated by first principle density functional theory. The results showed that sulfur-vacancy had obvious effect on HER performance of MoS2. The Tafel slope of the sample Eth24h-MoS2 obtained by ethanol solvothermal treatment for 24 h was 69 mV/dec and the overpotential was 237 mV at current density of 10 mA/cm², which was significantly lower than that of the original MoS2, and had good electrochemical stability. With the increase of sulfur-vacancy density, the band gap of MoS2 decreased and its conductivity improved. The hydrogen adsorption free energy ΔGH of sulfur-vacancy position and sulur-vacancy free position decreased rapidly.
