Objectives: To explore the application of neurofeedback (NFB) combined with learning style profile (LSP) intervention training in children with high-functioning autism (HFA)., Methods: A prospective study was conducted to select 86 children with HFA admitted to the hospital from February 2022 to February 2024. They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. In this double-blind study, the control group was given LSP intervention training, and the observation group was given NFB intervention on the basis of the treatment used in the control group. Both groups were treated for 6 months. The scores of Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC), Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC), Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS), and Pediatric Quality of Life (PedsQL) were compared between the two groups before intervention and at 6 months after intervention. The relationship of PedsQL score with ABC, ATEC, and SRS scores was analyzed in children with HFA., Results: After 6 months of intervention, the scores of ABC, ATEC, and SRS in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while the PedsQL score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). The PedsQL score was negatively correlated with the ABC, ATEC, and SRS scores in children with HFA ( r =-0.238, -0.381, -0.219 respectively; P <0.001)., Conclusions: NFB combined with LSP can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and social ability, control the development of the disease, and improve the quality of life in children with HFA.

The study developed a memory task training system using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) and neurofeedback mechanisms, and acquired and analyzed subjects' EEG signals. The results showed that subjects participating in the neurofeedback task had higher correlated brain network node degrees and average cluster coefficients in the right hemisphere brain region of the prefrontal lobe, with relatively lower dispersion of mediator centrality. In addition, the subjects' left hemisphere brain region of the prefrontal lobe section had increased centrality in the neurofeedback task. Classification of brain data by the channel network model and the support vector machine model showed that the classification accuracy of both models was higher in the task state and resting state than in the feedback task and the control task, and the classification accuracy of the channel network model was higher. The results suggested that subjects in the neurofeedback task had distinct brain data features and that these features could be effectively recognized.

Neurofeedback (NF) technology based on electroencephalogram (EEG) data or functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) has been widely studied and applied. In contrast, functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) has become a new technique in NF research in recent years. fNIRS is a neuroimaging technology based on hemodynamics, which has the advantages of low cost, good portability and high spatial resolution, and is more suitable for use in natural environments. At present, there is a lack of comprehensive review on fNIRS-NF technology (fNIRS-NF) in China. In order to provide a reference for the research of fNIRS-NF technology, this paper first describes the principle, key technologies and applications of fNIRS-NF, and focuses on the application of fNIRS-NF. Finally, the future development trend of fNIRS-NF is prospected and summarized. In conclusion, this paper summarizes fNIRS-NF technology and its application, and concludes that fNIRS-NF technology has potential practicability in neurological diseases and related fields. fNIRS can be used as a good method for NF training. This paper is expected to provide reference information for the development of fNIRS-NF technology.

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and safety of electroencephalographic biofeedback therapy in improving memory disorders in patientsin the recovery stage of acute severe toxic encephalopathy. Methods: A total of 52 patients in the recovery stage of acute severe toxic encephalopathy who were hospitalized in our hospital from March 2013 to December 2016 were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group with 27 patients and control group with 25 patients. Both groups were given the drugs to promote the metabolism of brain cells,and the patients in the observation group were given electroencephalographic biofeedback therapy in addition. The Chinese revised version of Wechsler Memory Scale Type A was used to measure memory ability before and after each course of treatment. The treatment outcome was evaluated for both groups. Results: There were no significant differences in the scores of long-term memory,short-term memory, immediate memory, and memory quotient between the two groups before treatment( P >0.05).After the first course of treatment ended, the observation group had significant increases in the scores of forward task,backward task,association,and memory quotient( P <0.05); compared with the control group, the observation group had a significant reduction in the score of backward task( P <0.05).After the second course of treatmentended, the observation group had significant increases in the scores offorward task,backward task,memorization of pictures,reproduction,association,comprehension,and memory quotient,and the control group had significant increases in the scores of reproduction,association,comprehension,and memory quotient( P <0.05); compared with the control group, the observation group had significant increases in the scores of forward task,backward task,memorization of pictures, reproduction, association, comprehension, and memory quotient( P <0.05).Two patients experiencedchest distress, palpitation, and dysphoria during treatment, which did not affect the treatment. Conclusion: Electroencephalographic biofeedback therapy has a certain effect in the treatment of memory disorders in patients with acute severe toxic encephalopathy.
