ObjectiveMulti-fidelity surrogate (MFS) modeling technology can reduce simulation costs in the design process of engineering products. In order to relax the hierarchical relationship between low-fidelity (LF) analysis models and broaden the engineering application of MFS, this paper proposes an MFS modelling method based on variance-weighted sum (VWS-MFS) for the fusion of multiple non-hierarchical LF data. MethodThe proposed method builds LF surrogate models using Kriging technology. By quantifying the uncertainty of the LF surrogate models with variance, the non-hierarchical LF data is weighted to construct a trend function. In addition, the improved hierarchical Kriging (IHK) model is introduced to fuse the high-fidelity (HF) and LF data, enabling the correction coefficient of the trend function to change throughout the design space. The proposed method is then tested on nine typical examples and applied to the performance prediction of a vibration isolator. ResultsAccording to the experimental results, the proposed method shows higher prediction accuracy than similar methods by more than 85%, and its vibration isolator performance prediction is significantly improved by more than 60% compared with the static prediction method. ConclusionThe proposed method integrates the HF analysis model and multiple non-hierarchical LF analysis models. While the hierarchical relationship between LF analysis models is relaxed, the information of LF data is mined to the maximum extent.

[Introduction] Transmission towers are crucial infrastructure in power systems, and their wind-induced collapse can cause significant losses to power systems. To find solutions to prevent wind-induced collapse of transmission towers, it is necessary to investigate the causes, contributing factors, and processes of wind-induced collapse. [Method] Research results on wind-induced collapse of transmission towers were reviewed from the perspectives of accident analysis, full-scale tests, wind tunnel tests, and numerical simulations. The relevant research results were analyzed and summarized, and recommendations for subsequent research were provided. [Result] The investigation revealed that the factors contributing to the wind-induced collapse of transmission towers include the presence of weak members in the tower body, defects in the calculation of wind loads on transmission lines in the code, and extreme wind loads not considered in the code. [Conclusion] It is recommended to research extreme wind load models, the impact of crosswind and torsional wind loads, accurate models of single tower and tower line systems, and improvement of relevant regulations in the code.

According to the requirements of the pre-assessment service and earthquake emergency disposal, we collected the pre-assessment survey data of Sichuan in recent ten years, and designed the database structure with deeply mining, classification and coding. At last, we established the database for pre-assessment survey data to realize fast query of pre-assessment survey data, statistics, calls and other functions, which promoting the transformation of pre-assessment achievements. And it also realizes the scientific, standardized and systematic management of pre-assessment survey data, and provides data guarantee for earthquake disaster risk management and earthquake emergency information services.

This is an article in the field of earth sciences. Manganese ore is one of the strategic minerals in short supply in China. The area of Northern Guizhou-Eastern Yunnan is the most typical distribution area of manganese ore in Permian, which is also rare in the Late Paleozoic in the world. It is rich in manganese ore resources and has great prospecting potential, so it is called "Zunyi type manganese ore". The results show that the manganese ore is produced in the late Permian Maokou, and its distribution is strictly controlled by the northern Guizhou rift basin. The manganese ore is formed in the center of graben basin by exhalation deposition, but no manganese ore is distributed in the barrier area, and the ore-body spatial distribution direction is basically consistent with the basin distribution direction. Among them, manganese ore in Zunyi - western Guizhou area is spatially distributed in the basin facies area, and can be divided into three manganese ore facies belts, namely, the central phase, the transition phase and the edge, which further indicates the specific metallogenic location of manganese ore and shows that the manganese ore is controlled by the center of the basin. Based on the Zunyi-Xuanwei manganese ore belt, it can be divided into four manganese ore concentration areas in the Zunyi-Qianxi manganese ore mineralization subzone: Shenxi-Bali, Longping-Xinglong, Tuanxi-Shangji and Qianxi, and two manganese ore concentration areas in shuicheng - Xuanwei manganese ore mineralization subzone: Shuicheng - Nayong and Gexue.The research results are of great significance to search for Permian concealed manganese deposits in northern Guizhou and eastern Yunnan and to carry out metallogenic prediction.

In broad sense, beverages made from nuts and plant fruits/pulp, as well as other plant-derived materials including proteins etc. are collectively known as plant-based milk. Plant-based milk has multiple advantages such as lactose free, cholesterol free, hormone free, low saturated fat, antibiotics free, special sensory flavor, as well as unique nutritional functions, which fit with the diversified needs of consumers. The market size of plant-based milk in China is huge, which also has great development potential. However, there are still many unsolved problems, such as backward processing technology, insufficient raw material development, unsatisfied sensory properties, vague nutritional and digestive characteristics, and incomplete academic discipline etc. From this, the processing problems of plant-based milk, new processing technology and equipment, innovative technology development trend, industrialization policy comprehensively are described and discussed in this paper. This paper will contribute to the industrial development of domestic plant-based milk, and further satisfying people's growing demand for nutrition and health.

ObjectiveTo construct a prediction model for the intention of accepting recombinant zoster vaccine(RZV) vaccination among community residents based on reasoned action approach for promoting RZV vaccination in the population. MethodsTotally 1 480 attendees of four community health service centers were recruited with accidental sampling in three districts of Shanghai city for an online survey conducted during October – November 2022. The vaccination intention scale developed by Vissor et al was translated into Chinese and modified to collect participants′ information relevant to accept RZV vaccination. Of the 1 471 individual data from eligible respondents, 981 and 490 were randomly assigned into a training set and a test set. Lasso regression analysis on the data of training set was performed to explore the determinants of RZV vaccination intention. A nomogram prediction model for RZV vaccination intention was constructed using multivariate logistic regression analysis on the data of training set and the performance of the established model was evaluated with the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC). ResultsThe intention to have RZV vaccination within 6 months was reported by 8.36% (123) of the eligible respondents. The results of Lasso regression analysis screened out nine predictive factors of RZV vaccination intention, including perception ability (β = 0.149), perceived infection risk (β = 0.074), moral norm (β = 0.061), decisional uncertainty (β = – 0.060), general vaccination beliefs (β = – 0.007), never having herpes zoster infection (β = 0.812), perceived cost-benefit (β = – 0.014), social norm (β = 0.019), and attitude (β = 0.003) and the nine factors were used to construct the prediction model. Based on the nomogram of the established prediction model, the possibility to have RZV vaccination within next 6 months is 9.00% for the respondents never having herpes zoster infection and with following scale items′ scores: 7 for perception ability, 7 for perceived infection risk, 7 for moral norm, 7 for decisional uncertainty, 42 for general vaccination beliefs, 28 for perceived cost-benefit, 49 for social norm, and 42 for the attitude towards RZV vaccination. The results of internal and external validation analysis showed that the established model is of good differentiation and calibration（the area under the curve [AUC]training set = 0.717, AUCtest set = 0.689; χ2training set = 9.061, degree of freedom [df]training set = 8, p training set = 0.337, χ2test set = 12.024, dftest set = 8, ptest set = 0.150）. ConclusionPerception ability, perceived infection risk, moral norm, decisional uncertainty, general vaccination beliefs, whether or not having herpes zoster infection, perceived cost-benefit, social norm, and attitude towards RZV vaccination are main predictive factors for RZV vaccination intention among community residents of Shanghai city.

The Daxin Xialei Devonian manganese deposit in Guangxi is the first super-massive manganese ore deposit ever discovered in China. Here we conducted detailed petrographic studies on manganese-bearing sequence, ore mineral assemblages and their textures and structures. Our work reveal that the brecciated, vein-bearing and stockwork manganese ore minerals may form correspondingly to the expulsion and effusion of the gas and liquid-rich fluid. In addition, prevailing manganese-bearing silicate and sulfide minerals (rhodonite, manganese-iron chlorophyllite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, manganite, etc.) of hydrothermal origin are observed among the ores. Further comprehensive examinations of the original borehole data of the mining area lead to two major outcomes.First, three syndepositional faults are successfully recovered and identified in Late Devonian Xialei-Tuhu Ⅳ-graben basins, which controls the formation and spatial distribution of the manganese ore deposit.Second, brecciated manganese ore minerals appear to be clustered in space, and the localities of which may correspond to the locations of the ancient gas-liquid expulsion and effusion centers that give rise to the formation of manganese ore. Notably, the spatial distribution of the fossilized gas-liquid centers is controlled by the syndepositional faults developed during the formation of manganese ore deposit. Given the observation that Xalei Devonian manganese ore deposit shares comparable expulsion and effusion depositional features to Nanhua Datangpo gas-liquid depositional manganese ore deposit at Songtao of Guizhou Province, it is therefore argued that both Xialei and Datangpo manganese ore developed by similar mechanisms. This study sheds light on a better understanding of the metallogenic mechanism(s) and will place better constraints on the future explorations of Xialei manganese ore deposit.

ObjectivesIn order to reduce the weight while maintaining the performance of the antenna cover of a deeply submerged body, a parallel variable-fidelity lower confidence bound (PVF-LCB) approach is proposed to optimize the structure of the antenna cover.MethodsThe proposed algorithm adaptively allocates computational resources of different fidelities through a variable-fidelity LCB (VF-LCB) function, allowing it to select several candidate samples based on influence functions (IFs) constructed by the variable-fidelity Kriging model. Moreover, the proposed method is assisted with widely used constraint-handling methods to solve the structural optimization problem.ResultsThe proposed approach obtains an optimized antenna cover structure which satisfies all constraints. Compared with the well-known variable-fidelity optimization method, the optimized structure is about 50% lower in weight. Additionally, the proposed approach reduces the weight of the antenna cover by about 30% compared with the results of single-fidelity parallel optimization methods.ConclusionsThe proposed method can not only reduce the design cycle of engineering optimization, but improve the quality of the optimal solution, giving it certain development prospects and guiding significance for engineering applications.

The optimal design of complex engineering equipment usually faces high-complexity, high-dimensional optimization problems – the so-called "large-scale black-box optimization problems (LBOPs)" – which are characterized by unavailable mathematical expressions of objective functions and/or constraint functions, and high dimensionality of design variables. The LBOPs have attracted the interest of scholars in various fields in recent years, and meta-heuristic algorithms are considered effective methods for solving these problems. This paper comprehensively summarizes recent research progress in meta-heuristic algorithms for solving LBOPs, including meta-heuristic algorithms with and without decomposition strategies, and meta-heuristic algorithms for handling computationally expensive large-scale optimization problems. Finally, possible future research directions of meta-heuristic methods for solving LBOPs are proposed.

Relying on the advantages of simple and fast applications,easy deployment of applications,and on-demand scaling of running applications,cloud native technology has been rapidly promoted.However,with the application of cloud native,the system architecture has become more complex and the scale of resources has become larger,and there is an urgent need for more intelligent operation and maintenance.Using intelligent operation and maintenance can better assist cloud-native application development,reduce operation and maintenance costs,and improve service quality.The application scenarios,key points,classic practices and existing problems of intelligent operation and maintenance were analyzed,and a cloud-native intelligent operation and maintenance architecture were proposed,and the main principles of the three scenarios:the trend prediction,data anomaly detection and fault location diagnosing in the core service algorithm platform were introduced in detail,and finally the future of intelligent operation and maintenance were looked forward.

The process of oxidative absorption of NO by Fenton-like reagents using α-Fe2O3, β-Fe2O3 and γ-Fe2O3 as catalysts was studied, and the impact mechanisms of crystal structure and surface property of three Fe2O3 on the NO removal efficiency were also analyzed. It is found that the denitration performance of γ-Fe2O3 is the best and the NO removal efficiency could reach 87.5% with the H2O2 concentration of 1.5 mol/L, catalyst concentration of 20 mmol/L, pH value of 5 and reaction temperature of 55℃. The mechanism investigation indicates that the reactions of H2O2 decomposition catalyzed by three Fe2O3 for NO removal occur on the surface of catalysts, the redox cycle exists in the reaction process and the main product of H2O2 decomposition is ·OH. Activity difference analysis indicates that the influence of crystal structure and surface property of Fe2O3 on the NO removal is obvious. The highest activity of γ-Fe2O3 can be attributed to its large specific surface area, high dispersion and abundant Fe2+ on the surface and the activity of β-Fe2O3 is higher than α-Fe2O3 due to more oxygen vacancies on the surface.

In order to convert CO2 more efficiently, many scholars have carried out research on various CO2 conversion methods. Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) is one of the important methods of CO2 conversion and utilization, it can reduce CO2 under the condition of low temperature and normal pressure. In order to design a better DBD reactor, reaction conditions and catalysts, this paper summarized the researches on CO2 conversion based on DBD in recent years. The effects of process parameters, diluting gases and catalysts on CO2 conversion and energy efficiency in different studies were analyzed. It was found that the catalyst can greatly improve the efficiency of CO2 conversion by DBD, and introduced some commonly used catalysts in DBD. Finally, the possible development trend of CO2 conversion by DBD was briefly analyzed.

Due to the function of communication and continuous monitoring,the low-earth orbit satellites are widely used in the aerospace field.However,there is no special authentication protocol in the existing satellite communication system.In order to solve this problem,a lightweight authentication protocol which considering the switch of communication path in the authentication process was designed for the low-earth orbit satellites,and the proposed protocol was verified by simulation and compared with the 3GPP AKA protocol.The simulation results show that the protocol has a 20% higher efficiency than 3GPP AKA protocol,and the spend of group key agreement protocol is about 300 ms.

In order to overcome the support difficulty of roadway severe deformation supported by U-shape steel frame under dynamical pressure impact, a numerical simulation was conducted to study the function mechanism of U-shape steel frame and anchor cable collaborative support, and a U-shape steel frame and anchor cable collaborative support technology was proposed. Meanwhile the field measurement method was used to monitor the surface displacement of roadway surrounding rock and the practical bearing situation of U-shape steel frame and structure compensation anchor cable during the influence process of riding mining pressure. The results show that; the technology of U-shape steel frame and anchor cable collaborative support is obviously useful for improving the surrounding rock stress, increasing the residual strength of roadway shallow surrounding rock, optimizing the bearing characteristic of U-shape steel frame, magnifying the bearing capacity and non-deformability of U-shape steel frame, and improving the overall stability of Ushape steel frame. When surrounding rock deformation pressure is large, the U-shape steel frame will deform with surrounding rock and the biggest deformation pressure presents at the roadway's sides and humeral pits, where the anchor cable can provide deformation resistance to prevent the interior convex deformation of U-shape steel frame. As an integral structure, the U-shape steel frame is bound to the limited deformation space, and its rest large deformation is released through the slip of frame's lap joint, then the high resistance and contractibility characteristic of U-shape steel frame is achieved. The article discusses a study regarding the use of a tracking-learning-detection (TLD) framework in addressing problem associated with ship identification and tracking in the inland waterway closed circuit television (CCTV) system.

Content of minor nutritional compositions ( total phenolics, phytosterols, tocopherols, beta - carotene and lutein) of rapeseed oils from 50 Brassia napus L. lines in regional trials were determined to construct an identification model for rapeseed oil quality. Among them, total phenolics were tested by Folin - Ciocalteau colouri-metric method, phytosterols contents were determined by GC, and others including tocopherols, beta - carotene and lutein were determined by RP - UPLC. Results showed that the content of oil qualities ranged from 8. 02 to 61. 90 mg tanin acid per 100g oil for total phenolics, 260. 86 to 685. 21mg per kilogram for tocopherols, 608. 23 to 1 218. 51mg per 100g for phytosterols, 36. 09 to 170. 07mg per kilogram for lutein, and 2. 06 to 4. 19mg per kilogram beta - carotene. Their average contents were 35. 68mg per 100g, 826. 16mg per 100g, 378. 52mg per kilogram, 2. 39mg per kilogram, 104.06mg per kilogram, and 8.21mg per kilogram respectively. There were significant differences (p <0. 01 ) among the lines in the content of these minor components. Rapeseed nutritional quality could be evaluated by factor analysis and modeling, and be divided into two classes by cluster analysis. Background Chemotherapy is a crucial treatment for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), with bone marrow suppression as the most common toxic side effect. The development, proliferation, and differentiation of various types of blood cells are regulated by a variety of hematopoietic factors. However, it is not clear whether there is a difference in the expression level of hematopoietic factors after chemotherapy in patients with AML at different altitudes and the change pattern has not been clarified. Objective To investigate whether there are differences in the expression levels of hematopoietic factors in bone marrow and serum before and after chemotherapy and their changes in patients with AML at varying altitudes. Methods A total of 28 AML patients (non-M3 type) treated for the first time in the Department of Hematology at Qinghai Provincial People's Hospital (1 501 to 2 500 m in the middle altitude area) and the Department of Hematology of Xi-Jing Hospital, Air Force Medical University of PLA (500 to 1 500 m in low altitude area) from 2021 to 2022 were selected as the research subjects, and according to the altitude of the hospitals they visited, the AML patients were divided into the middle altitude group (13 cases) and the low altitude group (15 cases). The WHO grading criteria for acute and subacute toxicity of anticancer drugs was used to evaluate the myelosuppressive scores of the patients on days 8, 14, and 28 of chemotherapy. The expression levels of erythropoietin (EPO), FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3-L), thrombopoietin (TPO), and interferon γ (IFN-γ) in serum and bone marrow before chemotherapy and on day 8, day 28 of chemotherapy were detected and compared by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results On days 14 and 28 of chemotherapy, the myelosuppressive scores of patients in the low-altitude group were higher than those in the middle-altitude group (Z=-1.975, P=0.048; Z=-2.049, P=0.040). On day 28 of chemotherapy, the serum and bone marrow EPO expression levels in the low-altitude group were higher than those in the middle-altitude group (P0.05) . Conclusion The expression levels of haemopoietic factors including EPO, Flt3-L, and TPO were higher during the recovery of myelosuppression after chemotherapy in AML patients at low altitude, compared to those at middle altitude. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the hematopoietic inhibitory factor IFN-γ. Myelosuppression grades and degree after chemotherapy are more severe in AML patients at middle altitude than at low altitude.

Objective To investigate the correlation between subclinical thyroid dysfunction and diabetic kidney disease （DKD） in the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus （T2DM）. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 276 T2DM patients treated in Jilin Province FAW General Hospital from January 2019 to March 2021, including 154 patients with DKD and 122 patients without DKD （control group）. The body mass index （BMI）, glycated hemoglobin （HbA1c）, serum total thyroxine （TT4）, total triiodothyronine （TT3）, free triiodothyronine （FT3）, free thyroxine （FT4） and thyroid-stimulating hormone （TSH） were measured and detected for all patients. The patients were further divided into normal thyroid function group （n=188）, subclinical hypothyroidism （SCHypo） group （n=63） and subclinical hyperthyroidism （SCHyper） group （n=25） according to thyroid function. The influencing factors of DKD was analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. Results Compared with non DKD patients, DKD patients had a longer course of disease and higher levels of BMI, fasting blood glucose, Cystatin C, serum uric acid, triglyceride, and TSH (P＜0.05). The incidence of DKD was 54.3% (102 cases) in the normal thyroid function group and 69.8% (44 cases) in the SCHypo group, the difference had statistical significance (χ2=4.711，P=0.038), in the SCHyper group, 32.0% (8 cases) showed a significant decrease compared to the normal thyroid function group (χ2=4.376，P=0.036). The logistic regression analysis showed that TSH(OR=0.908, 95%CI:0.838-0.985, P＜0.05) and SCHypo（OR=1.060, 95%CI:1.020-1.101, P＜0.05） were independent factors of DKD. Conclusion TSH level and SCHypo may be independent influencing factors of DKD in T2DM patients.

Weathering steel is used more and more widely in various fields of production and life.A rust layer stabilization treatment on the surface of weathering steel before usage can enhance both material life extension and beautification，promoting the mutual coordination between weathering steel and its service environment.In this paper，the research status of surface stabilization treatment technique of rust layer on weathering steel was summarized，which mainly included the formation，composition，structure and protection mechanism of rust layer，especially the disadvantages of traditional technology and novel technology.Finally，the further development of the surface rust layer stabilization treatment was prospected.

In order to comparatively analyze the effects of tea polyphenols and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), the major component of tea polyphenols, on the quality-related physicochemical properties during the processing of air-dried golden pomfret, 0.05% tea polyphenols, 0.05% EGCG and 0.02% EGCG were added to the marinade solution (8% salt), separately. The salt content, water-holding capacity (WHC), water migration, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) value and total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) content of fish meat during curing and air drying were detected, and the change of volatile flavor substances during air-dried golden pomfret processing was analyzed by gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS). The results showed that the addition of tea polyphenols and EGCG could effectively inhibit the increase in TVB-N and TBARS values of fish back and abdominal muscles during the curing and air-drying process (P < 0.05), and reduce the loss of immobile water, which in turn could enhance the WHC of fish meat. Among them, the effect of 0.05% tea polyphenols was the most pronounced, followed by 0.05% EGCG, and 0.02% EGCG was least effective. A total of 63 volatile components were identified during the processing of air-dried golden pomfret, among which aldehydes, ketones and esters increased during the curing and air-drying process, contributing to the unique flavor of air-dried golden pomfret. The addition of tea polyphenols and EGCG was conducive to the formation of volatile aldehydes and ketones in air-dried pomfret and reduced the content of offensive odor substances (triethylamine, butyric acid, o-phenol and isopropyl alcohol). It was found that 0.05% tea polyphenols was the most effective in improving the flavor of air-dried pomfret, followed by 0.05% EGCG, and 0.02% EGCG was least effective. This study showed that natural tea polyphenols was more effective in improving the quality of air-dried pomfret during processing than EGCG alone.

The optical network has become the most important way to carry power communications. To ensure its high reliability, operators need to detect the cables of the network periodically, which need to enter the substations. However, the large number and scattered location of substations bring challenges to the optical cable detection for the power communication optical network. This paper studies such multi-period optical cable detection problem of optical network in the context of power communication. With the objective of minimizing the total number of entered substations, we developed an Integer Linear Programming (ILP) model and a corresponding heuristic algorithm is also proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed heuristic algorithm can effectively reduce the total number of entered substations and perform close to the results of ILP model.

The artificial intelligence (AI) technology with supreme capacity of big data integration and management have been used in digital diagnosis and clinical treatment,which have greatly facilitated the development of clinical oncology and precision medicine. AI technology is far superior to human beings in big data integration and analysis, so has been widely applied in pathological image analysis, molecular marker discovery, clinical decision support, drug discovery and recommendation and so on. In recent years, many remarkable achievements have been made in the field. This review discussed the latest applications of AI-assisted precision cancer diagnosis and treatment, highlighted emerging challenges, and predicted the development trend in the future.

Objective To explore the predictive value for the efficacy of Xiaoyan decoction combined with gemcitabine/carboplatin (GC) chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods The clinical data from 65 patients with advanced NSCLC who were treated with Xiaoyan decoction and GC chemotherapy were analyzed retrospectively. The apparent diffusion coefficient before and after treatment (ADCpre and ADCpost) of magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and ADC change rate (ΔADC) were compared between the effective group and the ineffective group. The correlation of ADCpre and ADCpost and ΔADC with tumor regression rate and their predictive value for curative effect were analyzed. Results The effective rate of Xiaoyan decoction combined with GC chemotherapy was 58.46%. Before treatment, DWI showed a high signal, ADCpre was low, and DWI was mainly equal signal and ADCpost was high after treatment. The tumor regression rate was negatively correlated with ADCpre, and positively correlated with ADCpost and ΔADC(P＜0.05). The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and AUC of ADCpre for efficacy prediction were 71.05%, 81.48%,75.38%, 0.789, respectively, and ADCpost was 89.47%, 66.67%, 80.00%, 0.810, and ΔADC was 81.58%, 85.19%, 83.08%, 0.842. Conclusions ADCpre, ADCpost and ΔADC are closely related to tumor regression rate in advanced NSCLC patients. DWI can predict the clinical efficacy of Xiaoyan decoction combined with GC chemotherapy.

From August 2010 to August 2020, there were 3 cases of pathologically diagnosed alveolar adenoma (AA) were reported in Peking Union Medical College Hospital so far, which was a rare benign neoplasm of the lung. The clinical manifestations and radiological characteristics on computer tomography of AA were heterogenous among these patients and lacked specificities. The difficulty in predictive differentiation of benign or malignant characteristic of the lesion led to some confusions in clinical practices. This paper reported 2 cases of AA and reviewed the literature of AA. Its clinical, radiographical and pathological characters were analyzed, so to provide more knowledge and improve the differential diagnosis of this disease.

Objective To establish an inducible CRISPR library screening method for human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) to screen the cis-acting elements involed in the maintainance the pluripotency of hESCs. Methods The inducible Cas9 expression elements were inserted into the hESC genome to construct an inducible Cas9 stable expression strain (iCas9-hESC). Analyze the published chromatin interaction information in hESCs to identify the cis-acting elements that may be involved in the regulation of pluripotency genes, then to construct a double gRNA CRISPR knockout library. The CIRSPR library was used to infect iCas9-hESC at low multiplicity of infection followed by induction of Cas9 expression, and gene editing of the cells. Using the expression level of OCT4 as a standard to measure pluripotency, the cells after gene editing were stained with OCT4 and analyzed by flow cytometry to determine whether the knockout of cis-elements would affect the pluripotency of hESCs. Results The iCas9-hESC was successfully constructed, and the cells still maintained a pluripotent state. Construct a CRISPR knockout library of ciselements and successfully infect the target cells. Flow cytometric analysis of the expression level of OCT4 was performed on the cells after the library infection, and it was found that there were indeed some populations with decreased pluripotency in the cells after gene editing. Conclusions A feasible scheme for screening cis-acting elements involved in maintaining pluripotency in hESCs through CRISPR library is established.

Objective: To investigate the status of knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of foodborne parasitic diseases among middle school students in Xuzhou City, so as to provide a reference to the health education., Methods: A total of four middle schools were selected and their students were investigated with the basic information questionnaire and questions of foodborne parasitic diseases., Results: The awareness rates of parasitic diseases, hazards and transmission were 56.50%, 66.33% and 70.50% respectively. The awareness rates of transmission of the diseases in the senior high school students and urban students were higher than those in the junior middle school students and rural students ( χ 2 = 8.684, 8.470, both P < 0.05). The formation rates of not drinking raw water and not eating raw food were higher among the female students than those among the male students ( χ 2 = 7.675, 15.230, both P < 0.05). The formation rate of not eating raw food was higher among the senior high school students than that among the junior middle school students ( χ 2 = 49.276, P < 0.001), and the formation rates of washing hands before meals and not keeping pets were higher among the urban students than those among the rural students ( χ 2 = 5.833, 13.443, both P < 0.05). Totally 64.83% of the students would not eat food that might be infected with foodborne parasites, and the proportion of girls was higher than that of the boys ( χ 2 = 11.690, P < 0.05), and 20.5% of the students would suggest others not eating food that might be infected with foodborne parasites, and 81% of the students would plan to get rid of bad habits., Conclusions: The cognition of foodborne parasitic diseases is poor among the middle school students in Xuzhou City. The health education work on foodborne parasitic diseases should be strengthened.

Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) were first constructed by Takahshi and et al in 2006. They converted the mouse fibroblasts into ES-like cells via viral transduction with four transcription factors (Oct4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc). Since, the significant progress has been made and many researchers have succeeded in inducing iPS cells from other human somatic cells by some novel approaches, such as combining transcriptional factors and small chemicals. IPS cells have significant prospect in clinical application. IPS cells derived from patient somatic cells can be used as a model in studying the pathogenesis of genetic hematological disease and applied in therapeutic screenings. Recent studies suggested that iPS cells can differentiate into red blood cells and platelets in vitro, which may make up a big blood bank for transfusion in future. In this review, current understanding of both recombinant technology of iPS cells and the research progress in hematology are summarized.

A biotrickling filter (BTF) was designed for treating mixed waste gases, which contained hydrogen sulfide (H2S), tetrahydrofuran (THF) and dichloromethane (DCM) at the start-up and steady states. The removal efficiency of H2S and DCM could maintain about 99% and 60%, respectively, and the removal efficiency of DCM was reduced from 90% to 37% with the shortening empty bed retention time (EBRT) form 50 to 20 seconds when the inlet concentrations were 200, 100, 100 mg x m(-3) of H2S, THF, DCM, respectively. In the theoretical study, the biodegradation efficiency of contaminants was H2S > THF > DCM by analyzing the Michaelis-Menten Dynamic model.

The degradation of paracetamol (APAP) in aqueous solution was studied with ozonation integrated with activated carbon (AC). The synergistic effect of ozonation/AC process was explored by comparing the degradation efficiency of APAP in three processes (ozonation alone, activated carbon alone and ozonation integrated with activated carbon). The operational parameters that affected the reaction rate were carefully optimized. Based on the intermediates detected, the possible pathway for catalytic degradation was discussed and the reaction mechanism was also investigated. The results showed that the TOC removal reached 55.11% at 60 min in the AC/O3 system, and was significantly better than the sum of ozonation alone (20.22%) and activated carbon alone (27.39%), showing the great synergistic effect. And the BOD5/COD ratio increased from 0.086 (before reaction) to 0.543 (after reaction), indicating that the biodegradability was also greatly improved. The effects of the initial concentration of APAP, pH value, ozone dosage and AC dosage on the variation of reaction rate were carefully discussed. The catalytic reaction mechanism was different at different pH values: the organic pollutions were removed by adsorption and direct ozone oxidation at acidic pH, and mainly by catalytic ozonation at alkaline pH.

A novel lead dioxide electrodes co-doped with rare earth and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) were prepared by the electrode position method and applied as anodes in sono-electrochemical oxidation for pharmaceutical wastewater degradation. The results showed that the APAP removal and the mineralization efficiency reached an obvious increase, which meant that the catalytic efficiency showed a significant improvement in the use of rare-earth doped electrode. The effects of process factors showed that the condition of the electrode had the best degradation efficiency with doped with Ce2O3 under electrolyte concentration of 14.2 g x L(-1), 49.58 W x cm(-2), 50 Hz, pH = 3, 71.43 mA x cm(-2). The APAP of 500 mg x L(-1) removal rate reached 92.20% and its COD and TOC values declined to 79.95% and 58.04%, the current efficiency reached 45.83% after degradation process for 2.0 h. The intermediates were monitored by the methods of GC-MS, HPLC, and IC. The main intermediates of APAP were p-benzoquinone, benzoic acid, acetic acid, maleic acid, oxalic acid, formic acid etc, and the final products were carbon dioxide and water. The goal of completely degradation of pollutant was achieved and a possible degradation way was proposed.

Ti-base lead dioxide electrodes (Ti/PbO2) doped with rare earth La, Ce were prepared by the electrode position. The surface morphology and crystal structure of the electrodes was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), the results showed that, microstructure and crystal orientation of electrode surface changed after doping rare earth La, Ce, which made the electrode surface more dense and uniform. The electrochemical properties of the electrodes were tested by linear sweeping (LS) and cyclic voltammogram (CV), the experimental results show that, La, Ce doping improved the electrode overpotential of oxygen evolution and the peak current density, promoted the catalytic performance of the electrode. Different doping amount of modified electrodes were used to degrade methylene blue simulative dyeing wastewater, the results showed that, electrodes doped La and Ce respectively 8.0 g x L(-1) and 5.0 g x L(-1) have the best degradation efficiency and catalytic activity, for example, the removal of MB and its COD respectively researches 83.85%, 79.95% and 79.18%, 76.21%. The possible degradation pathways and mechanisms were also discussed.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of shikonin for inducing the apoptosis of human promyelocytic leukemia cell HL-60., Methods: The effects of shikonin on the HL-60 cell proliferation were detected using MTT. The apoptosis rate was analyzed by Annexin-V/PI double staining. The expression level of the bcl-2 gene was detected using semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR (RT-PCR), thus analyzing the correlation between the bcl-2 expression level and the apoptosis of HL-60., Results: Shikonin could inhibit the proliferation of HL-60 cells with the concentration range of 1-8 microg/mL in a time- and concentration-dependent manner. Two microg/mL shikonin could induce the apoptosis of HL-60 cells in a time-dependent manner. The expression level of bcl-2 was obviously down-regulated at 2 microg/mL shikonin., Conclusions: Shikonin could induce the apoptosis of HL-60 cells. Its mechanism was correlated with down-regulation of the expression level of bcl-2.

Objective: To investigate the activity of bilateral posterior cricoarytenoid muscle satellite cell after denervation or reinnervation with ansa cervicalis., Methods: Twenty four dogs were randomly divided into 3 groups. The bilateral laryngeal recurrent nerves were cut in group one in all dogs. The bilateral laryngeal recurrent nerves were anastomosed with ansa cervicalis after incision in group two in all dogs. The dogs in group three were used as control. Nine weeks after surgery, the electromyography was used to test the regeneration of the nerve. The posterior cricoarytenoid muscles biopsy were collected. The expression of mRNA of Myogenin, Myf5, and Pax7 was assayed by realtime RT-PCR after total RNA isolation., Results: Two dogs died after surgery in incision and anastomose group. The electromyography suggested that the RLN of all dogs had denervated in the incision group and had reinnervated in the anastomose group after 9 weeks. Myogenin mRNA from RLN incision dogs PCA muscles had greater expression versus controls (Z = 1.42, P < 0.01) or anastomosed dogs (Z = 1.38, P < 0.01). Myf5 mRNA expression from RLN incision dogs PCA muscles had significant increase versus control dogs (Z = 1.66, P < 0.01) or anastomosed dogs (Z = 1.69, P < 0.01). Pax7 mRNA expression from RNL incision dogs had significant increase compared with control (Z = 1.66, P < 0.01) or anastomosed animals (Z = 1.42, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in Myogenin (Z = 1.34, P > 0.05), Myf5 (Z = 0.54, P > 0.05) and Pax (Z = 0.54, P > 0.05) mRNA expression between controls and anastomosed animals., Conclusions: The bilateral denervation of RLN cause significantly increasing in dog PCA muscle satellite cell proliferation and differentiation. The bilateral reinnervation of RLN cause PCA muscle satellite cell come back nonproliferative, quiescent state in dog.

Objective: To summarize the anesthetic management in fetal lamb cardiac bypass., Methods: Five ewes at 120-140 days of gestation were anesthetized intramuscularly with katamine hydrochloride, intubated and ventilated with a respirator. Anesthesia was maintained with fentanyl and vecuronium. Lactated Ringer's solution and magnesium sulfate were infused to maintain the mean blood pressure (MAP) over 70 mmHg and uterine relaxation. The fetal lambs received anesthesia with fentanyl and vecuronium intramuscularly via the uterine wall. Fetal cardiac bypass was established with pulmonary artery and right atrium cannulation, lasting for 30 min. The hemodynamic and blood gas data of the ewes and fetal lambs were recorded before bypass, at 30 min during bypass, and at 1 and 2 h after cessation of bypass. The pulse index of the umbilical artery (PIua) and the ewe's uterine artery (PIeu) were monitored simultaneously., Results: The MAP and heart rate (HR) of the fetus remained normal during the anesthesia. PIua increased significantly after cessation of bypass (P<0.05). Although the fetal oxygen tension in the axillary artery remained normal, the fetal lambs showed hypercarbia and acidosis after cessation of bypass (P<0.05). The maternal MAP and HR remained normal. The PIeu decreased significantly during bypass (P<0.05) and recovered the normal level after cessation of bypass. The arterial blood gas of the ewes was normal during the experiment., Conclusion: Maintaining high hemodynamics in the ewes, application of uterine relaxation and intensive care during anesthesia are crucial in anesthetic management of cardiac bypass in fetal lambs.

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Progesterone (PG) on the patients with acute severe traumatic brain injury, and investigate it's neuroprotective mechanisms., Methods: Fifth-six patients with acute severe traumatic head injury were divided randomly into two groups: 26 cases were treated with PG and 30 cases were control. Neurological outcome of the patients were assessed using Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS), verbal and motor functions scale and Karnofsky Performance Scale (KPS). The serum concentrations of PG, TNF-alpha and 15-F(2t)-isoprostane were measured at day 1, 5 and 10 after trauma., Results: In the two groups, There were no significant difference in the mortality, GCS of acute healing phase, GOS and verbal and motor functions at 10th days after treatment (P>0.05); After follow-up for 3 months, GOS, verbal functions and KPSin the PG treatment group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05); In addition, there was no difference of motor functions in the two groups (P>0.05). At 5th day after trauma, serum 15-F(2t)-isoprostane and TNF-alpha levels increased in the control group, but decreased at 10th day after trauma. Compared with the control group serum PG levels increased, serum 15-F(2t)-isoprostane and TNF-alpha levels reduced significantly in the PG treatment group at 5th and 10th day after injury (P<0.05)., Conclusion: It indicated that successive early application of PG will benefit the patients with acute severe head injury by improving the recovery and reducing the disability, which may be related to its alleviating inflammatory and lipid peroxidation response.
