ObjectiveTo understand the residue status of banned and restricted pesticides in vegetables sold in Inner Mongolia， and to provide scientific basis for relevant departments to formulate targeted and effective supervision and control countermeasures for banned and restricted pesticides.MethodsFrom 2015 to 2021， vegetables were collected and sold in 12 league cities in Inner Mongolia， and pesticide residues in vegetables were detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The test results are determined according to the Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Food of National Food Safety Standard （GB 2763—2021）.ResultsA total of 1 721 vegetable samples were collected， and 20 prohibited pesticides were monitored， including carbamate， organophosphorus and organochlorine pesticides. The total detection rate of 20 prohibited pesticides was 9.24% （159/1 721）， and the total overstandard rate was 5.35% （92/1 721）. Among the 20 prohibited pesticides， the other 16 pesticides were detected except carbosulfan， methomyl， aldicarb and chlorazophos. The highest detection rate was monophosphorus， which was 4.64% （21/453）. The over-standard rate was the highest for Diguo， 2.50% （24/959）. The detection rate and overstandard rate of forbidden pesticides in leaf vegetables were 12.11% （77/636） and 8.18% （52/636）， respectively.ConclusionSeveral banned and restricted pesticides were detected in vegetables sold in Inner Mongolia. It is suggested that relevant departments strengthen the supervision of banned andrestricted pesticides to ensure the safety of the people’s tongue.

The World Health Organization proposed applying mindfulness as an important strategy to help transform the situation faced by chronic disease cases and to promote their mental flexibility and adaptability. The author reviewed the related literature on mindfulness and introduces the "SMILE" strategy in this article. This strategy includes several stages, including 1) Starting where I am, 2) Motivating patients to become self-aware of the experience of self and internal and external environment interactions, 3) Developing individual health beliefs, 4) Learning mindfulness-based health-promotion behaviors, 5) Evaluating the efficacy of mindfulness-based health-promotion behaviors and self-regulation. SMILE is a powerful strategy with the potential to promote patient wellbeing, acceptance of the need to coexist with chronic disease, and freedom. Mindfulness is an abstract concept. ObjectiveTo investigate the pesticide residues in vegetables in Inner Mongolia and assess the dietary exposure risk.MethodsUsing the data of pesticide residues in vegetables from the 2016—2019 risk monitoring in Inner Mongolia， combined with the food consumption data of the residents in Inner Mongolia in the 2012 National Total Diet Study， the food safety index method and the acute dietary intake risk assessment model were used to conduct risk assessments.ResultsFrom 2016 to 2019， a total of 9 types and 15 106 vegetable samples were tested. Organophosphorus， organochlorine， carbamate and pyrethroid pesticides were detected. The overall detection rates were 0.98% （72/7 315）， 3.43% （109/3 178）， 4.44% （56/1 261） and 0.30% （10/3 352）， respectively. Among the four categories， there were some samples violating the stardards， including omethoate （0.05%，4/7 315）， phorate （0.16%，12/7 315）， chlorpyrifos （0.10%，7/7 315）， isofenphos-methyl（0.01%）， hydrocarbophos（0.01%）， methamphetamine （0.01%，1/7 315）， procymidone （0.09%，3/3 178）， chlorothalonil （0.03%，1/3 178）， cyhalothrin （0.32%，4/1 261）and amino carbofuran （0.09%，3/3 352）. The assessment results showed that the food safety index （IFS） was less than 1 based on the average pesticide residue concentration Ri， and the risk was acceptable. But there were some risks of phorate， triazophos， methophos， chlorothalonil and cyhalothrin based on the maximum value of Ri. The results of acute exposure assessment showed that there was acute risk with 1.42 mg/kg of phorate in tomatoes.ConclusionAll four types of pesticides in vegetables had been detected， and some had exceeded the standard. There were some health risks for phorate， triazophos， methophos， chlorothalonil and cyhalothrin when the food safety index method （IFS） was applied with the maximum value of the pesticide residue concentration Ri. The results of the acute exposure assessment indicate that there was an acute health risk of ingesting phorate through tomatoes. It was recommended that relevant departments strengthen the supervision of the use of prohibited and restricted pesticides to better protect the health of local residents.

Adolescent resilience is defined as the dynamic process to recover or develop from an adverse event. Three critical periods of the concept include antecedents (an adverse or negative life event which facilitate the development of independence and self-identity), defining attributes (positive attitude, self-belief, behavior change, hope, and coping), and consequences (adaptation, growth, and positive outcomes). The purpose of this article was to analyze the concept of adolescent resilience based on the event of an adolescent with type 1 diabetes and, furthermore, to provide suggestion for nursing education, research, and clinical practice. Some functional microorganisms in the soil immobilize heavy metals by adsorption and precipitation, prevent the absorption of heavy metals by crops, and play an important role in the passivation and remediation of medium and mild heavy metal-contaminated soil. A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of the exogenous polyamine-producing bacterium Bacillus sp. N3 on Cd uptake and the bacterial community composition and function in the rhizosphere soil. The results showed that strain N3 significantly reduced the contents of Cd (64.7%) in wheat grain and DTPA-Cd (50.1%) in rhizosphere soil and increased the pH (from 6.84 to 6.97) and polyamine content. High-throughput sequencing results showed that inoculation of strain N3 reduced the diversity of the bacterial community; however, it increased the relative abundances of β -Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Firmicutes in wheat rhizosphere soil. Meanwhile, strain N3 also increased the relative abundances of heavy metal-immobilizing bacteria and plant growth-promoting bacteria ( Bacillus, Arthrobacter, Brevundimonas, Ensifer, Pedobacter, Rhizobium, Pseudomonas, Enterobacter , and Serratia ) in wheat rhizosphere soil. The PICRUSt function prediction showed that strain N3 increased the copy number of genes involved in antioxidant capacity, hormone synthesis, and sulfur metabolism in wheat rhizosphere soil. These results indicated that the polyamine-producing bacteria N3 reduced the DTPA-Cd content by increasing the pH; the polyamine contents; the abundances of bacteria with heavy metal-immobilizing or plant growth-promoting traits; and the metabolic pathway involved in antioxidant capacity, hormone synthesis, and sulfur metabolism in wheat rhizosphere soil, thus inhibiting the absorption of Cd by wheat. The results provide theoretical basis and technical support for restoring farmland with excessive heavy metals and ensuring the safe production of wheat.

In order to explore the correlation between the medicinal properties，efficacy and application in the same genetic relationship，explain the scientific connotation of the medicinal properties and effects of traditional Chinese medicines(TCM)，promote the academic development of the theory of traditional Chinese medicines，and provide reference for the research and development of the traditional Chinese medicines of a same genus. In this paper, a literature study of ancient and modern works of Chinese herbal medicine was conducted to investigate the correlation between the properties, meridians tropism, efficacy and application of Alpinia officinarum， A. katsumadai， Galangae Fructus and Alpinae Oxyphyllae Fructus, four kinds of Alpinia Chinese medicines．The results showed that the similar properties of these four kinds of Alpinia Chinese medicines included that they were acrid, warm,and mainly getting into the spleen and stomach channels; the similar efficacies included that dispelling cold，relieving pain，warming stomach，anti-nausea，anti-diarrheal，reinforcing spleen to promote digestion and other effects; in application aspects, the similarities were that they were all mainly used in treatment of catching cold or spleen deficiency induced by abdominal pain，vomiting，diarrhea,diet indigestion, etc. indicating that phylogenetic relationship was closely related with the herbal properties, efficacy and application. Podocyte injury is closely related to proteinuria in the progress of diabetic nephropathy(DN). The pathological characters of podocyte injury mainly refer to the change of podocyte form and function, including foot process effacement, reduction of podocyte number and density, podocyte apoptosis, podocyte epithelial-mesenchymal transdifferentiation(EMT)and podocyte hypertrophy. These pathological damages are controlled by multiple signaling pathways in the kidney, such as mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)/autophagy pathway, transforming growth factor(TGF)-β1 pathway and Notch pathway. For podocyte injuries induced by high glucose or in murine models of DN, some Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)extracts, such as multiglycoside of Tripterygium wilfordii(GTW), triptolide(TP), astragaloside IV(AS-IV), astragalus polysaccharide(APS)and Panax notoginseng saponins(PNS), have the protective effects in vivo or in vitro. The preliminary studies in China showed that GTW improves podocyte injury in the DN model rats probably through regulating the activity of mTORC1 signaling pathway in the kidney. Glomerular hypertrophy is the main pathological characteristic in the early stage of diabetic nephropathy (DN), and its regulatory mechanism is closely related to mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway activity. mTOR includes mTOR complex 1 (mTORC1) and mTOR complex 2(mTORC2), in which, the upstream pathway of mTORC1 is phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K)/serine-threonine kinase(Akt)/adenosine monophosphate activated protein kinase(AMPK), and the representative signaling molecules in the downstream pathway of mTORC1 are 4E-binding proteins(4EBP) and phosphoprotein 70 S6Kinase(p70S6K). Some Chinese herbal extracts could improve cell proliferation via intervening the expressions of the key molecules in the upstream or downstream of PIK/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway in vivo. As for glomerular mesangial cells(MC) and podocyte, mTOR plays an important role in regulating glomerular inherent cells, including adjusting cell cycle, energy metabolism and matrix protein synthesis. Rapamycin, the inhibitor of mTOR, could suppress glomerular inherent cell hypertrophy, cell proliferation, glomerular basement membrane (GBM) thickening and mesangial matrix deposition in model rats with DN. Some Chinese herbal extracts could alleviate glomerular lesions by intervening mTOR signaling pathway activity in renal tissue of DN animal models or in renal inherent cells in vivo and in vitro.

Objective: To investigate the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of BARD1 gene and susceptibility of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women in Xinjiang., Methods: A case-control study was designed to explore the genotypes of Pro24Ser (C/T), Arg378Ser (G/C) and Val507Met (G/A) of BARD1 gene, detected by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay, in 144 early-onset breast cancer cases of Uygur women (≤ 40 years) and 136 cancer-free controls matched by age and ethnicity. The association between SNPs of BARD1 gene and risk of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women was analyzed by unconditional logistic regression model., Results: Early age at menarche, late age at first pregnancy, and positive family history of cancer may be important risk factors of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women in Xinjiang. The frequencies of genotypes of Pro24Ser (C/T), Arg378Ser (G/C) and Val507Met (G/A) of BARD1 gene showed significant differences between the cancer cases and cancer-free controls (P < 0.05). Compared with wild-type genotype Pro24Ser CC, it showed a lower incidence of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women with variant genotypes of Pro24Ser TT (OR = 0.117, 95%CI = 0.058 - 0.236), and dominance-genotype CT+TT (OR = 0.279, 95%CI = 0.157 - 0.494), or Arg378Ser CC (OR = 0.348, 95%CI = 0.145 - 0.834) and Val507Met AA(OR = 0.359, 95%CI = 0.167 - 0.774). Furthermore, SNPS in three polymorphisms would have synergistic effects on the risk of breast cancer. In addition, the SNP-SNP interactions of dominance-genotypes (CT+TT, GC+CC and GA+AA) showed a 52.1% lower incidence of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women (OR = 0.479, 95%CI = 0.230 - 0.995). Stratified analysis indicated that the protective effect of carrying T variant genotype (CT/TT) in Pro24Ser and carrying C variant genotype (GC/CC) in Arg378Ser were more evident in subjects with early age at menarche and negative family history of cancer. With an older menarche age, the protective effect was weaker., Conclusions: SNPs of Pro24Ser(C/T), Arg378Ser (G/C) and Val507Met (G/A) of BARD1 gene are associated with significantly decreased risk of early-onset breast cancer in Uygur women in Xinjiang. Early age at menarche and negative family history of cancer can enhance the protective effect of mutant allele.

The Transtheoretical Model (TTM) is a contemporary psychological model of behavioral change employed to develop efficient interventions to promote healthy behavioral changes. Interventions can be individualized to the needs of individuals in order to achieve optimal results. No integrated plan currently exists in Taiwan for reducing cigarette use among children. This article presents a systematic review of TTM, with the goal of constructing a model for protecting teenagers against tobacco-related health risks. Analysis results are hoped to be useful as a reference for developing systematic interventions aimed at reducing the health risks posed to teenagers by cigarette smoking.

Each state of cystine and zinc ion in aqueous solution under different pH conditions was calculated by computer, and the scatter diagram was given. Under the influence of solution pH, the mechanism of complex reaction in indirectly determining cystine by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with ZnS was studied. The soluble complex ion is composed of 0 valence cystine Cys-Cys+/-, -1 valence cystine Cys-Cys+/- and -2 valence cystine Cys-Cys(2-) with Zn(OH)2. The theoretical analysis from computing and scatter diagram dovetail very well with the data determined from the experiments. The structure of soluble zinc-cystine complex ion is, [(COO-) CH (NH3+) CH2S-SCH2 CH (NH3+) COO-] Zn (OH)2, [(COO-) CH (NH3+) CH2S-SCH2CH(NH2)COO-]Zn(OH)2 and [(COO-)CH(NH2)CH2S-SCH2CH(NH2)COO-]Zn(OH)2.

This case report shares our experience using the transtheoretical model of health behavior change to promote exercise in a type 2 diabetes patient. The patient was under our care from May through July 2006, during which time the patient was under regular observation and interviewed to collect data. A total of two outpatient consultations and five telephone interviews were conducted. An analysis of results showed the subject to be in the preparation stage of behavior change. To help move the subject into the action stage, the author promoted regular exercise through a variety of strategies, including self-reevaluation, self-change plan development, self-liberation, contingency management, social support search and environmental reevaluation. After nursing intervention, the subject maintained an exercise journal and arranged his own exercise plan. His exercise regimen gradually increased the frequency and intensity of exercise and further extended the scope of exercise to include regular exercise with family members. The author hopes that this case report may provide a reference for health professionals on the use of the transtheoretical model of health behavior change in the care of this type of patient.

The structures of complex ion are Zn(OH)2 x (C6N3O2H9)2, H8) Zn(OH)2 x [(C6N3O2H8)-]2 and Zn(OH)2 x (C6N3O2H9) x [(C6N3O2H8)-].

Cloud point extraction was used for the preconcentration of lead after the formation of a complex with dithizone in the presence of surfactant Triton X-114, and then the lead was determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The conditions affecting the separation and detection process were optimized. Separation of the two phases was accomplished by centrifugation for 15 min at 4 000 rpm. Upon cooling in an ice-bath, the surfactant-rich phase became viscous. The aqueous phase could then be separated by inverting the tubes. Later, a solution of methanol containing 0.1 mol x L(-1) of HNO3 was added to the surfactant-rich phase up to 0.5 mL. The samples were determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry with NH4H2PO4 and Mg(NO3)2 as a chemical modifier. At pH 8.0, the preconcentration of only 10 mL sample in the presence of 0.05% Triton X-114 and 20 micromol x L(-1) dithizone permitted the detection of 0.089 microg x L(-1) lead. The enhancement factors were 19.1 times for lead. The calibration graph using the preconcentration system for lead was linear with a correlation coefficient of 0.998 from levels near the detection limits up to at least 30 microg x L(-1). The regression equation was A = 0.026 1c (microg x L(-1)) + 0.010 6. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of lead in water samples.
