Objective To investigate the status of tooth caries of 6⁃8 years old school children in Zhongkai Hi⁃Tech Zone of Huizhou city, and to provide scientific data for prevention and treatment on caries. Methods Referring to the Guideline for the 3rd National Oral Health Survey, the dental caries status of 1⁃2 grade students in 32 primary schools were investigated, and the data were analyzed by SPSS 14.0 statistical software. Results The prevalence rate of decid⁃ uous teeth caries in 4 390 children was 67.4% , and the DMFT was 3.94; The eruption rate of the first molars was 81.5%, with the prevalence rate of caries was 24.3%, and the DMFT was 0.448. The rate of caries for 8 years old chil⁃ dren is higher than in 6⁃7 years old children (P < 0.001). Conclusion There is a high caries rate in children in Zhong⁃ kai Hi⁃Tech Zone of Huizhou, so oral health education, primary teeth caries treatment, and fissure sealant of permanent teeth should be strengthened.

As special nanoporous materials with consecutive 3D network, aerogels have many unique properties, such as low density, high surface area, large pore volume and porosity, leading to their high performances and promising applications in aerospace, military, industrial production, green building, new energy and biological medicine, etc. Large porosity and penetrating nanopore of aerogels provide good gas diffusion capacity and enough space for the retention of adsorbates, high specific surface area of aerogels favours the gas-phase interaction. Therefore, aerogels are ideal mediums for the removal of indoor air pollutants, such as airborne particles, VOCs, formaldehyde and CO2. Objective: Extra-nodal malignant lymphoma is often characterized by a lack of typical symptoms and positive results of auxiliary examinations, which make diagnosis difficult. In some cases, fever can be the only clinical manifestation. For the lymphoma patients presenting with persistent fever with a duration over 3 weeks, characteristics of fever including time of fever attack, fever type and effects of drugs may have significant value in the diagnosis, especially in the early stage of the disease or in rare cases.

The mechanical properties of tumor cells adhering to extracellular matrix (ECM) are closely related with their invasion and metastesis. In this study we investigated the adhesive mechanical properties between hepatocellular carcinoma cells(HCC) and the collagen I coated surfaces from the viewpoint of cell cycle by coupling cellular biology and cellular mechanics, using micropipette aspiration and cell synchronization technique. The results showed that the synchronous G1 and S phase HCC cells were achieved by use of thymine-2-desoryriboside, colchicines sequential blockage method and double thymine-2-desoryriboside blockage method, and that the synchronous rates of G1 and S phase HCC amounted to 74.09% and 90.39% respectively. Within the ranges of dosing and timing in this study, the adhesion of HCC cells to collagen I displayed dose dependent and time dependent patterns. S phase cells had small force of adhesion to collagen I as compared with G1 phase and controlled cells(P<0.001), which suggested that G1 phase HCC may play an important role in the step of invading interstitial connective tissue in the metastasis pathway of HCC through blood circulation. These are of significance to unveiling the mechanism of HCC metastasis.
