In view of problems of narrow band width and inconvenient operation in traditional Ethernet tester by use of ping packet method, the paper proposed a design scheme of 16-channel Ethernet tester based on C8051 single-chip microcomputer and FPGA module. The tester supports 16-channel Ethernet test, and its FPGA module can provide 16-channel external SMII, whose sending unit is used to receive configuration data of C8051 single-chip microcomputer and send corresponding Ethernet packet according to the configuration data, and receiving unit is used to detect and statistic received Ethernet packet and send the statistical information to C8051 single-chip microcomputer. The test result validated feasibility of the tester.

As for coalition structure being strict to matroids, two distribution principles of rationality and equality were designed for strictly cooperative games on matroids. Moreover, Τ value for strictly cooperative games on matroids was constructed according to Τ value for the typical cooperative games, which is characterized by two distribution principles of rationality and equality with the help of strictly mathematic reasoning. PURPOSE: To Investigate the mechanism of bone morphogenetic protein receptor (BMP-R) on inducing the osteogenesis of rat bone marrow stromal cells. METHODS: BMSCs were harvested from rats and induced in control medium (CM), osteogenic medium (OM), BMP-2, and OM with BMP-2. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity assay and Von Kossa staining were used to assess the differentiation. BMP receptor (BMP-R) was also assessed using RT-PCR.SPSS 16.0 software package was used for data analysis with one-way ANOVA. RESULTS: BMSCs underwent osteogenic differentiation in OM group, showing high level of ALP activity and matrix mineralization. BMP-2 increased osteogenesis of BMSCs induced by OM. Significant BMP-R I A, BMP-R II expression could be detected in BMSCs in OM after 3 days of stimulation, while BMP receptors were later detected in BMSCs in BMP-2. CONCLUSIONS: BMP-2 can increase osteogenesis of BMSCs induced by OM. BMP receptors have a strong effect on the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs. In order to solve the problem of complicated optimization on water quality model calibration of large-scale water distribution systems, problems faced by empirical and automated calibration were analyzed. Countermeasures such as the parallelization of genetic algorithm, the field test of initial model parameters and the grouping of model parameters were presented. Results indicate that these strategies can reduce the variables of model calibration, improve the operating efficiency of genetic algorithms, and reduce the searching rime of automated model calibration effectively. An improvement project of displacement sensor experiment system was put forward. A micro-stepper motor was used to control the displacement. The subdivision control strategy was adopted to keep it running smoothly. The stepping motor driving system adopted 3957. AT89C52 SCM was used as centre controller, and AD574 was used as AD converter, LCD 1602 and freestanding button were used as man-machine interface The new system not only could achieve the original purpose, but also could improve experiment efficiency and the credibility of the experimental data. Nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) shows excellent reduction of Cr(Ⅵ), but the passivation on its outer surface can restrict its longevity and performance. To tackle this problem, this work introduced Shewanella oneidensis MR-1, a dissimilatory iron-reducing bacterium, into the chemical reduction system of aged nZVI/biochar (B) and Cr(Ⅵ). The potential synergistic effect of Cr(Ⅵ) reduction of aged nZVI/B and MR-1 was systematically investigated under varying conditions. The results indicated that aged nZVI/B and MR-1 exhibited a synergistic effect at a pH of 7, and the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ) increased by 51.3%. Further research showed that the synergistic effect could be attenuated with the increase in the initial Cr(Ⅵ) concentration and enhanced with the increase in the MR-1 concentration. The XPS spectra confirmed that Cr(Ⅵ) was mainly removed through reduction. The dissimilatory iron-reducing ability of MR-1 played a key role in enhancing the Cr(Ⅵ) reduction. The reductive dissolution of the oxidation layers not only released reactive sites inside the nZVI, but also reduced Cr(Ⅵ) by producing ferrous ions. Moreover, B promoted the reduction by dispersing the nZVI and mediating the extracellular electron transfer. This study provides a new insight into solving the passivation problem of the long-term application of nZVI for Cr(Ⅵ) removal, which is considered a promising solution for synergistically improving the performance of nZVI in environmental remediation.

Objective To investigate the role of thioredoxin interacting protein(TXNIP)/ nucleotides-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein(NLRP)3 inflammasome in the sciatic nerve of streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Methods The diabetic rat model was established by single intraperitoneal injection of STZ.The rats with matched sex and age were taken as normal control group.The blood glucose and body weight were monitored.The mechanical withdrawal threshold was measured by von Frey filaments at 12 weeks after the model was established.At 12 weeks,the rats were sacrificed and the sciatic nerves were separated for Luxol fast blue staining,the expressions of TXNIP,NLRP3,caspase-1,and interleukin(IL)-1β were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot method,and the levels of IL-1β and IL-18 in serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results The expression of TXNIP protein in the sciatic nerve of diabetic rats was 3.78±0.08,which significantly increased than that in the normal control group(0.99±0.06)( t =26.980, P <0.0001).Compared with the normal control group(0.97±0.05),the expression of NLRP3 protein in the diabetic group(2.44±0.16)was significantly higher( t =8.885, P <0.0001).The expression of cleaved caspase-1 was 4.45±0.19 in the diabetic group and 1.08±0.06 in the normal control group,and the difference was significant( t =16.900, P <0.0001).The expression of IL-1β protein in the diabetic group(4.50±0.16)was significantly higher than that(1.19±0.08)in the normal control group( t =18.630, P <0.0001).Compared with the normal control group,the levels of IL-1β [(110.50±8.80)pg/ml vs. (17.97±3.18)pg/ml, t =9.892, P <0.0001] and IL-18 [(591.70±8.78)pg/ml vs. (160.70±8.33)pg/ml, t =35.620, P <0.0001] in the serum of diabetic rats significantly increased. Conclusion The pathogenesis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy may be related to increased expression of TXNIP,activation of NLRP3 inflammasome,and downstream inflammation,which may provide a new target for diabetic peripheral neuropathy therapy.

Reproductive isolation, the key process to prevent interspecific hybridization and keep the completeness and independence of species, is crucial to the formation and maintenance of biodiversity. The forming steps, methods and intensities of reproductive isolation between different species are not completely the same. Literatures on reproductive isolation between species provide valuable evidence for speciation and its maintenance. Flowering phenology, flowering-visiting insects, and pollen-stigma compatibility were observed for Ligularia virgaurea and L. sagitta, two species of weeds sympatrically distributed in eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The characteristics of reproductive isolation mechanism of both species and its role in reproductive isolation were also studied. The results showed that the flowering period of L. virgaurea was 20 d earlier than that of L. sagitta. Although the full-blooming period separated, there was a roughly 10 d overlap between the two species. Meanwhile, the pollens and stigmas of the two species were both viability in the overlapped 10 d. L. virgaurea and L. sagitta shared the same types of pollinating insects, which was a generalized pollination type. Besides, the flower-visiting behavior towards the two species from the pollinators was similar, along with the interleaved access between the two species. There was no complete time isolation and no complete pollinator isolation between the two species, but the stigma had poor compatibility towards heterogenic pollen. The germination of pollen on stigma and growth of the pollen tube was hampered. Furthermore, the rejection of pollen-stigma was likely to be an important prezygotic reproductive isolation between L. virgaurea and L. sagitta, thus avoiding the natural hybridization and maintaining the diversity and genetic stability of the two species.

Objective: To investigate clinical effects of calcaneal fracture with closed reduction and minimally invasive plate fixation assisted with bidirectional distractor distraction., Methods: From September 2015 to October 2016, 11 male patients(13 feet) with calcaneal fractures treated with bidirectional distractor distraction assisted with minimally invasive plate fixation were retrospectively studied. They were aged from 24 to 57 years old with an average of 36.4 years old;8 feet were type IIand 5 feet were type III according to Sanders classification. Postoperative incision, fracture healing, Böhler angle, Gissane angle were observed and Maryland scoring system was used to evaluate clinical effects., Results: All fractures healed well without incision inflammation and incision disunion. All patients were followed up from 12 to 15 months with an average of 13.5 months. Böhler angle were improved from (9.6±7.3)° before operation to (20.2±4.6) ° at 1 year after operation, and had statistical meaning; Gissane angle increased from (92.7 ±8.5)° before operation to (121.7 ±7.6) ° at 1 year after operation. Maryland score at 1 year after operation was 88.79±8.25, and 11 feet got excellent results and 2 feet moderate., Conclusions: Bidirectional distractor distraction assisted with minimally invasive plate fixation could effectively fix calcaneal fractures, reduce postoperative complications, and get satisfied results of postoperative images and functional recovery. Objective: To study the medicinal plant resources and their diversity in Kangle County, Gansu Province, and to provide scientific basis on utilization and protection of the medicinal plant resources of the county., Methods: By field survey, sample collection, taxonomic identification and data verification methods., Results: There were 258 species, 65 families in existing medicinal plants, of which 43 species, 39 genera and 24 families were national protection medicinal plants. Dominant families were mainly Asteraceae and Rosaceae. In this area,the plants used whole herbs and roots ( or rhizomes) as medicinal materials represented 40.31% and 25.19% respectively, and antipyretic and rheumatism medicine accounted for 28.68% and 12.79% respectively. 12 medicinal plants were cultivated and the cultivated area was 3,000 hectares., Conclusion: However, the reserves of most medicinal plants are less enough and the resources are diminishing increasingly in recent years. So we should accelerate the research progress as well as developing and utilizing rationally on the premise of protection.

Unlabelled: The allelopathy between bacteria and algae is a very complicated physical and ecological phenomenon. A marine bacterium was isolated from the water of a shrimp and crab mix-culturing pond. By 16S rRNA analysis, it was identified as Marinobacter adhaerens HY-3. Skeletonema costatum, a common dominant species of red-tide microorganism in China, was chosen as the other research object. The allelopathic effect of Marinobacter adhaerens HY- 3 on S. costatum was studied. Using the growth mass of Skeletonema costatum and the content of chlorophyll a as the parameters, the effects of HY-3 on the growth and photosynthesis of Skeletonema costatum were studied after co-cultivation and addition of extracellular metabolites of HY-3. The results showed that the growth of S. costatum was inhibited when the concentration of the strain HY-3 was above 10(4), and the growth mass of the 10(4), 10(6) and 10(8) HY-3 group was 70%, 23% and 22% of the control group respectively on the 10th day, with the content of chlorophyll being 88%, 62% and 60% of the control group, respectively. Therefore, the suppression increased with increasing concentration of HY-3. However, addition of extracellular metabolites of HY-3 had no effect on the growth of S. costatum., Conclusions: M. adhaerens HY-3 had certain allelopathy on S. costatum and affected its growth and photosynthesis. Moreover, interaction between M. adhaerens HY-3 and S. costatum was achieved by their direct contact and the extracellular metabolites did not contain allelopathy factors.

The expression of Pib gene in rice was induced by hormone, such as jasmonic acid and ethylene. In order to determine the necessary regions of sequence or motifs for response to jasmonic acid and ethylene in Pib promoter, the full length promoter of Pib (-3,572 approximately 2 bp) and three different 5' deletion fragments of Pib promoter (-2,692 approximately 2 bp, -1,335 approximately 2 bp, -761 approximately 2 bp) were synthesized by PCR and then were substituted for 35S upstream gus in a binary plasmid to construct re-combined plasmids of Pib promoter-gus fusions. Transgenic rice plants of the four recombined plasmids were produced by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Quality and quantum analysis of gus activities in transgenic plants at both protein and mRNA levels were conducted. The promotion activity of the full length promoter of Pib (-3,572 approximately 2 bp, pNAR901) was the highest in the four recombinants and the gus activities in its transgenic plant organs were enhanced obviously at 6 h after treatment with jasmonic acid or ethylene. The promotion activity of the deleted Pib promoters was significantly decreased and the response to jasmonic acid or ethylene treatment was not present when the -3,572 approximately -2,692 bp sequence was knocked out from the Pib promoter. Although the disparity in the lengths of the deleted Pib promoter of pNAR902 (-2,692 approximately 2 bp), pNAR903 (-1,335 approximately 2 bp), and pNAR904 (-761 approximately 2 bp) was more than 2 or 3 times, the response to jasmonic acid or ethylene treatment was not different among their transgenic plants. All these results indicated that the common deleted sequences (-3,572 approximately -2,692 bp) in the three deleted Pib promoter constructs were the essential region to the response to jasmonic acid and ethylene treatment. The result of pib promoter sequence searching indicated that there was only one GCCGCC motif at -2,722 bp of this common deleted segment in the Pib promoter sequence. Our rice transgenic results showed that the GCCGCC may be a cis-motif for Pib gene conferring response to jasmonic acid and ethylene for Pib gene.

The promoter region and intact coding region of Pib gene (9.9 kb) was inserted into the downstream of CaMV 35S promoter in a binary vector pPZP2Ha3(+), resulting a plasmid pNAR701. And a fragment of Pib gene from 6 986 to 9 392 bp was placed into pPZP2Ha3(-) under the control of CaMV 35S promoter, producing an antisense expression vector pNAR703. These two recombined vectors were transferred into a blast medium susceptible rice cultivar R109 by an Agrobecterium-mediated method. Tests of PCR and Southern blotting for transgenic plants as well as the segregation of hygromycin resistance in T1 generation confirmed that the target DNA fragments were integrated into genome of R109 and hereditable. Northern blotting analysis showed the coding region of Pib gene double driven by 35S and its native promoter was able to transcript in T1 transgenic plants. Rice blast resistance test for T1 transgenic seedlings of 3-4 leaves stage and in vitro leaves in tillering stage showed that transgenic plants of pNAR701 were more resistant to blast race ZD1 and ZG1 than the wild type plants, but the resistance of antisense transgenic plants from pNAR703 was decreased compared to the controls.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of vacuum suction on facial shaping and cervicofacial rejuvenating., Methods: Based on injection of swelling solution, vacuum suction was used in totally 327 cases, including local fat deposit in face or neck., Results: Since 1993, we have carried out 327 case, satisfactory rate was up to 98%., Conclusions: This is an adaptable method for facial shaping and cervicofacial Rejuvenating, very good results can be achieved.

A 5.7 kb putative promoter region of pib gene was isolated from the pib genomic clone and substituted for the 35S promoter upstream of gus gene in plasmid pCAMBIA1301 to construct a new plant expression vector pNAR604 (putative pib promoter-GUS + 35S-hpt). From Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and hygromycin selective culture in vitro, hygromycin resistant calli and 36 transgenic rice (Oryza sativa L.) plants were obtained. Histochemical assays of GUS activity showed that no expression was observed in the resistant calli and roots from transgenic rice if cultured under light, but after 24 h dark treatment there was strong GUS staining. Fluorimetric quantitative analysis indicated that GUS expression was organ-specific in transgenic rice. Without the dark treatment, GUS activity in roots and stems were about 7 and 3 times higher than in leaves in which GUS activity was only trace detected. After 24 h dark treatment, GUS activity in roots, stems and leaves of transgenic plants were all promoted and the largest increase was observed in leaves. Twenty-four hours after spraying with 5 mmol/L SA (Salicylic Acid) or 0.3 mol/L NaCl, GUS activity in leaves of the transgenic plants was 2.7 or 3.6 times respectively higher than untreated control. It was confirmed that an inductive promoter was involved in this 5.7 kb upstream region of pib gene, and dark, SA and NaCl treatments were inductive factors for pib promoter.

The inheritance of rice lines transformed by protease inhibitor II gene under control of different promoters was investigated by analysis of hygromycin resistance, PCR and Southern blot. For segregation patterns of foreign gene, 68.4% of the transgenic rice plants were conformed to a Mendelian ratio and in which the rate of transgenic plants with single copy was 63.6%. Quantitative analysis of Pin II protein expressed in transgenic rice plants showed that Pin II protein in fresh leaves was 160 microg/g for Act-Pin II-2x, 176 microg/g for Ubi-Pin II-2x, and 104 microg/g for PIN5'-Pin II-4x separately while in control rice plants was only 20 microg/g. The inhibitory activity against tryspin of Pin II gene driven by Actl and Ubi promoter reached 37.7% and 43.1%, much higher than that driven by PIN5' (29.2%). Bioassay for insect resistance to armyworm (Pseudaletia separata Walker) revealed that transgenic plants had increased their resistance to the pest but there was not significantly different from controls, and also there was no correlation between insect resistance to armyworm and quantity of Pin II protein as well as promoters in transgenic rice.

Based on the published gene sequence of tetraploid potato (Solanum.tuberosum) protease-inhibitor II, a genomic DNA and a cDNA sequence of potato protease-inhibitor II gene were obtained from the cDNA library and the genomic DNA of a diploid potato IVP101 (Solanum.phurejia) using PCR method and named PINII-2x. Nucleotide sequencing confirmed that the full-length DNA of PINII-2x was 580 bp, including an 115 bp intron and two exons. cDNA was 462 bp ( stop codon TGA not included) and had 88% similarity to the tetraploid potato protease-inhibitor II. The PINII-2x open reading frame encodes a 154-amino acid polypeptide with a predicated size of 16.6 KD and a calculated PI of 6.08. The deduced proteins from PINII-2x cDNA had 93% homology with other tetraploid potato protease-inhibitor II, which contain the intact signal peptide and two active site similar to the potato protease-inhibitor II family. Test of the RT-PCR indicated that PINII-2x mRNA is wound- induced expression in potato leaves. Binary vector of PINII-2x cDNA drove by either rice Actin I promoter (ActI) or maize Ubiquitin promoter (Ubi) was constructed.

Objective: To investigate the changes in plasma urotensin II(U II) expression levels in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD)., Methods: Plasma U II levels in 50 CHD patients with coronary stenosis indicated by coronary angiography and 20 healthy subjects were determined by radio immunoassay., Results: Venous plasma U II levels were significantly lowered in CHD patients in comparison with the healthy subjects (1.61+/-1.02 pg/ml vs 3.70+/-1.30 pg/ml, P=0.000). In the CHD patient group, significantly differences were noted in the U II levels between patients with stable angina (2.62+/-1.20 pg/ml), unstable angina (1.39+/-0.80 pg/ml) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI, 1.04+/-0.45 pg/ml, P=0.004). CHD patients with coronary artery occlusion and those with only coronary stenosis had comparable venous plasma U II levels (1.29+/-1.02 pg/ml vs 1.76+/-1.00 pg/ml, P=0.131), whereas the patients with restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) had higher U II levels than the other subjects in the CHD patient group (2.28+/-0.94 pg/ml vs 1.40+/-0.96 pg/ml, P=0.008), and the femoral plasma U II levels were significantly elevated after PTCT, increasing from 1.18+/-1.14 pg/ml to a postoperative level of 2.22+/-1.77 pg/ml (P=0.001)., Conclusion: U II might play a role in the pathophysiological process of CHD and can be involved in the restenosis after angioplasty.

As an important preparation method of Inorganic Polymer Flocculants (IPFs) with all-round performance, the use of enhanced reactions of modification for Polyaluminum Chlorides (PAC) is a trend of application. In this paper, auctorial-made multicore oligomers as a complexing agent, polysilicate as a crosslinking agent and polyacrylamide as a compounding agent are respectively used to enhance PAC and prepared three kinds of IPFs, named CO-PAC, CR-PAC and PAM-PAC. The Fourier Transform Infrared spectra (FTIR) of the three flocculants show that there have been found new chemical bonds beyond Al-OH in their structures, and each characteristic band of primary group in PAC has a band shift to a lower frequency due to its structural aberration. These evidences suggested that enhanced reactions of modification for PAC are not at all a simple process of physical mix, but a chemical reaction to form other structural characteristics of inorganic polymers. The excellent coagulation behavior of these new flocculants depends mainly on the chemical actions, but there are a little physical effects between the modifiers and PAC.

Objective: To establish a method for acute enzymatic isolation of rat tracheal smooth muscle cells (TSMCs) and study the electrophysiological properties of the L-type calcium channel of the cells., Methods: Single rat TSMC was isolated by means of pronase E, followed by recording the electric currents in the single calcium channel using patch-clamp technique with cell attached configuration., Results: Large amount of viable TSMCs were isolated through this method, characterized by normal cell morphology and easy detection of the L-type calcium channel activity in the cells., Conclusion: This method is relatively simple for high-yield isolation of TSMCs with normal morphology.
