In order to clarify the influencing factors of the chemical flooding effect of horizontal Wells and effectively guide potential tapping in the later stage of oilfield, the characteristic parameters of water cut were determined, based on analysis of the characteristic curve of water cut of horizontal wells in Bohai. According to the results of chemical flooding pilot and the numerical simulation, the main control factors affecting the chemical flooding effect of horizontal wells were determined by using the grey system theory method, and a chart for evaluating the chemical flooding effect of horizontal wells was established. The application example of an oilfield in Bohai shows that the evaluation result of the chart is in line with the actual effect of chemical flooding, validating that a good implementation effect was obtained in A oilfield.
