In order to solve the problems of ignoring multi-dimensional load characteristics, cumbersome modeling process and long design cycle in the design process of hydraulic support in steeply dipping angle coal seam, combined with the load characteristics of hydraulic support in large dip angle pseudo-inclined working face, the design system of large dip angle hydraulic support is developed. Based on the comprehensive research methods of motion simulation, strength test and physical experiment, taking the design of ZY5000/15.5/38 hydraulic support for steeply dipping angle coal seam as an example, the mechanical model is established according to the multi-dimensional stress characteristics of hydraulic support in large dip angle pseudo-inclined stope. The spatial load characteristics of large dip angle hydraulic support are analyzed, and the mechanical linear matrix of top beam and shield beam of hydraulic support in pseudo-inclined working face is established. The design system of hydraulic support is built by using VB.NET as the development language combined with linear matrix and SOLIDWORKS secondary development modeling software, and a good human-computer interaction user interface is developed. The research and analysis show that the trajectory range of the front end of the top beam of the model hydraulic support generated by the system is about 48 mm, and the trajectory curve of the front end of the top beam of the support satisfies the characteristics of double torsion line. The maximum stress value of the model support is 146.7 MPa, which is far less than the equivalent stress value of the material yield, and the maximum deformation displacement is not more than 0.531 mm. The working resistance of the physical model hydraulic support with a similarity ratio of 1:5 is about 38 kN. The loading characteristics of the top beam and the shield beam of the support are tested under different conditions. The mechanical data of the model support in the experiment are basically consistent with the mechanical data generated by the system, and the experiment meets the motion requirements and bearing characteristics of the support in the stages of initial support, resistance increase, constant resistance and pressure relief. The research results reflect the good adaptability of the model hydraulic support under the design system, which has certain scientific and practical significance for enriching the design theory of hydraulic support in steeply dipping angle coal seam and guiding the design and production of hydraulic support.

Isolation and identification of acid-producing bacteria from environmental samples is still one of important and effective approaches to obtain strains producing lactic acid with high optical purity. In this study, an isolate strain named HL64-1, producing D-lactic acid with high optical purity, was isolated from rotten fruit. And HL64-1 was characterized as Leuconostoc pseudomesenteroides based on morphology, 16S rDNA sequence analysis and sequence similarity Blast analysis. After fermentation for 24 h, 62.18 g/L D-lactic acid was produced with an optical purity of 99.90%(ee) in basic fermentation culture. The acid production rate was 2.59 g/(L·h). Scale-up fermentation of L. pseudomesenteroides HL64-1 in 5-L fermenter for 72 h produced 78.74 g/L D-lactic acid by replenishment of carbon sources, and the average acid production rate was 1.09 g/(L·h). Moreover, L. pseudomesenteroides HL64-1 was found to be capable of using effectively cheap raw materials, such as agricultural by-products peanut cake meal and cottonseed meal, as alternative nitrogen sources, leading a reduction of fermentation cost. In addition, L. pseudomesenteroides HL64-1 could metabolize xylose into D-lactic acid. Co-fermentation of glucose and xylose mixtures showed that glucose significantly enhanced the utilization efficiency of xylose, making L. pseudomesenteroides HL64-1 to be a promising strain for pure D-lactic acid industrial production.

In this study, lotus seed starch was used as the raw material for preparing RS3 resistant starch (EHP-LRS3) through thermoacidophilic type Ⅲ pullulan hydrolase synergistic high-pressure heat treatments. The parameters for this preparation process were optimized using a single-factor experimental design and response surface methodology. The morphological and crystal structures of EHP-LRS3 were observed and analyzed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively, and its pro-proliferative effect on Bifidobacterium longum was investigated. According to the results, the optimal conditions for preparing EHP-LRS3 with TK-PUL enzymatic hydrolysis temperature of 80 ℃ were as follows: Treatment of 35.32% lotus seed starch slurry (pH5.00) with 25.00 U/g (lotus seed starch) TK-PUL at 80 ℃ for 12.70 h, followed by high-pressure heat treatment of the mixture at 121 ℃ for 10 min and retrogradation at 4 ℃ for 24 h. An EHP-LRS3 yield of 58.46% was achieved under these optimal conditions. The SEM analysis revealed that the prepared EHP-LRS3 possessed an irregular ravine-like structure. The XRD analysis showed that the resistant starch had a B-type crystal structure, which differed from the A-type crystal structure of lotus seed starch. The pro-proliferative effect of EHP-LRS3 on B. longum was superior to that of RS3 resistant starch prepared using high-pressure heating alone (HP-LRS3). In summary, a high EHP-LRS3 yield was obtained using both TK-PUL and high-pressure heat treatments. The superior pro-proliferative effect of EHP-LRS3 on B. longum was verified. The results provide a theoretical basis for the high-value utilization of lotus seed starch.

This study aimed to increase the expression and secretion of type III pullulan hydrolase (TK-PUL) by Brevibacillus choshinensis through the co-expression of molecular chaperone proteins and the optimization of fermentation conditions. By constructing multiple recombinant B. choshinensis co-expressing TK-PUL and molecular chaperone proteins, and screening them using extracellular enzyme activity as an indicator, the most favorable molecular chaperone protein and corresponding recombinant B. choshinensis for TK-PUL secretion and expression were determined. On this basis, single factor experiments and response surface methodology were used to optimize the fermentation conditions of recombinant B. choshinensis. Results showed that, the extracellular enzyme activity of the recombinant B. choshinensis strain co-expressing the molecular chaperone protein PrsABa reached 98.79 U/mL, representing a 0.31-fold increase. The optimal medium for this recombinant B. choshinensis was composed of 19.65 g/L of glucose, 21.46 g/L of yeast extract, 12.01 g/L of MgCl2·6H2O, 9.02 g/L of proline, 0.01 g/L of FeSO4·7H2O, 0.01 g/L of MnSO4·4H2O, and 0.001 g/L of ZnSO4·7H2O. Culturing the optimized recombinant B. choshinensis in the above-mentioned optimized medium for 66 hours at 35 °C and an initial pH of 7.0 increased the extracellular TK-PUL activity to 192.68 U/mL, which represented a 1.56-fold increase. Efficient secretion of TK-PUL in B. choshinensis was achieved through the co-expression of molecular chaperone proteins and the optimization of fermentation conditions. This study provides a foundation for exploring the industrial-scale application of TK-PUL.

The hydraulic support is the core of the stability of the ‘surrounding rock and equipm ent’ system in the pitching oblique working face of steeply dipping coal seam. The existing hydraulic support structure can not meet the requirements of spatial stability of pitching oblique mining, which seriously affects the safe and efficient mining of working face under such conditions. Taking the pitching oblique working face of steeply dipping coal seam as the research background, the comprehensive research methods of engineering analogy, structural kinematics analysis and numerical simulation are used to analyze the stability characteristics of ‘support-surrounding rock’ in the pitching oblique working face of steeply dipping coal seam. Based on ZY7000/22/45 hydraulic support, a new parallelogram hydraulic support is invented, the structural rationality design is carried out, and the kinematic response characteristics of key components are analyzed.The research shows that the non-uniform filling of the caving gangue and the crushing, pressing and pushing effect of the gangue on the support are the key factors affecting the stability of the support. The parallelogram top beam and the base are more suitable for the pitching oblique working face. The arrangement of the top beam, base and column of the parallelogram support is parallelogram. The special-shaped shield beam, the rear connecting rod, the oil cylinder connecting rod and the base constitute a flexible four-link structure. The column of the parallelogram support is the main bearing structure, and the cylinder connecting rod is the main motion mechanism. The main influencing factors of its motion characteristics are the distance between the upper and lower column sockets and the distance between the front and rear connecting rods and the hinged position of the shield beam. The shield beam and the rear connecting rod are the key to the position and posture control of the support, and there is no double torsion line during the movement of the support. The research results provide a type selection for the support of this kind of working face, which ensures the safe production of this kind of coal seam to a certain extent.

The Lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation in Sichuan Basin and on its periphery is rich in shale gas resources, and it has become one of the important shale gas development intervals in Sichuan Basin. Controlled by complex sedimentary setting, the silty shale reservoir in Qiongzhusi Formation has various lithofacies and strong heterogeneity longitudinally, which restricts the exploration and development of shale gas. Therefore, it is urgent to study the sedimentary characteristics, sedimentary facies and sedimentary models. Based on the previous understanding of tectonic setting and sequence stratigraphy, and through detailed analysis of rock data, well logging data, geochemistry data and paleontology data, this paper clarifies the Early Cambrian sedimentary background of combined ocean-paleoland influence, moderate water depth and widespread reduction of Sichuan Basin and its periphery. The paper also believes that the Qiongzhusi Formation is mainly deposited in shore facies and continental shelf facies. The continental shelf facies are dominated, including shallow water continental shelf subfacies and deep water continental shelf subfacies. Based on the analysis of the combined action of wave and tide, seawater evaporation, suspension, rising ocean current, sedimentary paleogeomorphology and other fine-grained sedimentary influencing factors, and combined with the spatial distribution characteristics of sediments, the fine-grained sedimentary model of the Lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation in Sichuan Basin and on its periphery is established, i.e., in the early stage of sedimentation, the effect of differential sedimentation is significant, the sequence thickness varies greatly, and the sedimentary characteristics and influencing factors differ greatly in different regions. In the middle stage of sedimentation, the effect of differential sedimentation is diminished and the difference of sequence thickness decreases continuously. In the late stage of sedimentation, with steady sedimentation, it enters the "open basin" stage, and the sequence thickness tends to be consistent.

To analyze the endogenous plasmid pDX of Lactobacillus acidophilus, and construct the Escherichia coli-Lactobacillus acidophilus shuttle vector based on the plasmid. In this study, the endogenous plasmid pDX was isolated from Lactobacillus acidophilus XW118, its sequence determination and functional analysis were performed, and then the promotor of plasmid pDX was used to construct a vector that could shuttle between Escherichia coli and lactic acid bacteria. The activity of the endogenous plasmid replicon of L. acidophilus in E. coli and the host range, transformation efficiency and passage stability of the shuttle vector in lactic acid bacteria were studied. The results showed that the size of Lactobacillus acidophilus plasmid pDX was 2062 bp, the GC content was 38.2%, and the plasmid contained four open reading frames (ORFs), which was presumed to be a rolling loop replication plasmid. The copy number of plasmid pDX in L. acidophilus was 31.05. In this study, an E. coli-lactic acid bacteria shuttle vector based on the replicon and promoter of plasmid pDX was constructed. The transformation efficiency of the vector was 0.24×102 to 2.75×103 CFU/μg (plasmid weight), and the plasmid loss rate was 25.45% to 48.36%. In this study, a vector capable of shuttling between E. coli and lactic acid bacteria was constructed, and the promoter of the endogenous plasmid of lactic acid bacteria with activity in E. coli was obtained, which provided a new operational approach for genetic engineering of lactic acid bacteria and metabolic engineering of E. coli.

In this work, the Permian Longtan marine-continental transitional shale in the southeast of Sichuan Basin was taken as study object. Through petrology and geochemical analysis, lithofacies types of the marine-continental transitional shale were classified, key controlling factors of physical properties and gas content of the different shale lithofacies were analyzed. The research results show that the Longtan Formation marine-continental transitional shale in the study area has four types of lithofacies, namely, organic-lean calcareous shale, organic-lean mixed shale, organic-lean argillaceous shale, and organic-rich argillaceous shale, among which the organic-rich argillaceous shale is the most favorable lithofacies of the study area. The pore types of different lithofacies vary significantly and the clay mineral-related pore is the dominant type of the pore system in the study area. The main controlling factor of the physical properties is clay mineral content, and the most important factor affecting gas content is TOC content. Compared with marine shale, the marine-continental transitional shale has low average values, wide distribution range, and strong heterogeneity in TOC content, porosity, and pore structure parameters, but still contains some favorable layers with high physical properties and gas contents. The organic-rich clay shale deposited in tidal flat-lagoon system is most likely to form shale gas sweet spots, so it should be paid more attention in shale gas exploration.

BackgroundTricresyl phosphate (TCP) is mainly used as a flame retardant. Studies have confirmed that it has cytotoxicity and neurotoxicity, but its reproductive toxicity is not clear.ObjectiveTo investigate the reproductive toxicity and potential mechanism of TCP subacute exposure on Caenorhabditis elegans.MethodsCaenorhabditis elegans were exposed to solvent control and 0.1, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP respectively for 72 h. Brood size and number of fertilized eggs in the uterus were detected to evaluate reproductive ability. The number of total germline cells and the relative area of gonad arm were measured to evaluate the development of gonads. The body length and body width of Caenorhabditis elegans were detected to evaluate growth and development. The activities of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in Caenorhabditis elegans, and the mitochondrial active oxygen metabolism genes (mev-1 and gas-1) of N2 nematodes were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) to evaluate oxidative stress. WS1433 transgenic nematodes and wild-type nematodes N2 were exposed to solvent control or TCP (0.1, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 μg·L−1) respectively. DNA damage in germ cells of WS1433 transgenic nematodes was detected, the relative expressions of DNA damage-related genes (hus-1, clk-2, cep-1, and egl-1) in N2 nematodes were detected by qRT-PCR to evaluate the effect of TCP exposure on genetic damage.ResultsCompared with the solvent control group (217.00 ± 12.20), the brood size of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (170.80 ± 11.51, 169.60 ± 10.52, P < 0.05). Compared with the solvent control group (18.43 ± 1.69), the number of fertilized eggs of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (13.47 ± 0.81, 11.95 ± 0.90, P < 0.05). Compared with the solvent control group (312.46 ± 77.4), the number of total germline cells of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (281.80 ± 12.98, 273.50 ± 8.53, P < 0.05). BackgroundThe increasing threats of air pollution and extreme weather have been widely recognized in recent years in China, but their individual and joint effects on cardio-cerebrovascular mortality are unclear.ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the individual effects of and potential interactions between oxidant pollutants and ambient temperature on cardio-cerebrovascular mortality risks.MethodsWe collected daily data on death counts of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, concentrations of ambient air pollutants, and meteorological parameters in Guangzhou, Chinabetween 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2016. A generalized additive model with a Poisson distribution was conducted to assess the associations of oxidant pollutants and ambient temperature with cardio-cerebrovascular mortality risks. Bivariate response surface models and stratified analyses were further adopted to qualitatively and quantitatively examine the potential interactions between oxidant pollutants and ambient temperature on cardio-cerebrovascular mortality risks.ResultsDuring the study period, the daily averages were 60.3 μg·m−3 for ozone (O3), 50.9 μg·m−3 for combined atmospheric oxidant capacity (Ox), 32.5 μg·m−3 for nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and 22.3℃ for ambient temperature. The average daily death counts of coronary and stroke diseases were 20 and 15, respectively. Per 10 μg·m−3 increment in O3, Ox, and NO2 were associated with increased coronary mortality risks (excess risk, ER) of 1.26% (95%CI: 0.79%-1.74%), 1.61% (95%CI: 0.99%-2.23%), and 1.33% (95%CI: 0.59%-2.07%), and with increased stroke mortality risks of 1.56% (95%CI: 1.04%-2.09%), 2.30% (95%CI: 1.60%-3.01%), and 2.93% (95%CI: 2.07%-3.79%) over cumulative lags of 2-5 days, respectively. The exposure-response relationships between ambient temperature and coronary and stroke mortality risks exhibited an inverse "J" shape, with the minimum mortality at temperatures of 25.7℃ for coronary disease and 27.3℃ for stroke. Our results further showed potentially synergic effects of higher temperatures and higher levels of O3 and Ox exposures on coronary mortality risks, and the relative ER due to interactions was 0.103 (95%CI: 0.028-0.178) for O3 and 0.079 (95%CI: 0.004-0.154) for Ox. We didn't find evidence of an interaction between oxidant pollutants and low temperature.ConclusionShort-term exposures to oxidant pollutants are associated with increased cardio-cerebrovascular mortality risks, and the interactive effects of high temperature and oxidant pollutants are synergistic in relation to cardio-cerebrovascular mortality risks.

Background and objective Da Vinci robotic surgery system is widely used in department of thoracic surgery. The aim of this study is to investigate the treatment outcome of stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) via da Vinci Surgical System. Methods Clinical date of 347 stage I NSCLC patients, who underwent lobectomy and systematic node dissection from Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2017, were reviewed. 134 patients underwent robot-assisted thoracic surgery (RATS) and 213 patients underwent video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS). To compare perioperative outcome (blood lose, postoperative drainage, drainage time, postoperative hospital stay, number of the LN dissection) and analyze overall survival (OS), disease free survival (DFS) of the two groups and prognostic factors. Results The RATS group got less blood lose [(49±39 mL for RATS vs (202±239) mL for VATS, P0.05]; corresponding there had a statistically significant difference of DFS between the two groups [1-year DFS: 93.7% vs 91.3%; 3-year DFS: 87.7% vs 68.4%; 5-year DFS: 87.7% vs 52.5%; disease free survival time (mean): 61 months vs 50 months, P

Background and objective Segmentectomy can retains more healthy lung tissue than lobectomy, but it remains controversial in oncology for early stage lung cancer. The aim of this study is to discuss the problems of video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) segmentectomy in early stage lung cancer, by analyzing the clinical and pathological data of 35 cases and reviewing the literature. Methods There were 35 patients who received segmentectomy by complete video-assisted thoracic surgery, from May 2013 to July 2017, in single operation group in the Third Hospital of Peking University. We analyzed the patient's clinical and pathological data, intraoperative and postoperative complications, lymph node number and metastasis its situation, and compared postoperative pathology and preoperative computed tomography (CT) imaging type. In 35 cases of segmentectomy, there were 11 males and 24 females, with an average age of 57.7 years old. The lesions located in the right upper lobe were 8 cases, in the right lower lobe were 8 cases, in the left upper lobe were 13 cases, in the left lower lobe were 6 cases. The mean maximum diameter of CT imaging was 12.7 mm, and the largest diameter of hilar and mediastinal lymph nodes was less than 10 mm. 23 of them were ground glass predominating and 12 were solid components predominating. Results All 35 cases were successfully completed VATS anatomical segmentectomy. The average operation time was 153 minutes, the amount of bleeding was 51 mL. There were 10 cases of air leakage after operation, all of which were not more than 3 days. There was contralateral atelectasis in 1 case, chylothorax in 1 case. The average length of hospitalization was 6.1 days. There was no other complications outpatient related to surgery, in 30 days after discharge. The pathological changes were as follow, 2 cases of metastatic tumor, 8 cases of benign lung disease and 25 cases of primary lung cancer. In the 25 cases of primary lung cancer, there were 14 cases of invasive lung adenocarcinoma (7 cases were groundglassopacity (GGO) predominating in CT imaging), 4 cases of micro-invasive adenocarcinoma (3 cases were GGO predominating in CT imaging), 6 cases of adenocarcinoma in situ (all were pure GGO in CT imaging), 1 case of lung squamous cell carcinoma (mainly composed of solid in CT imaging). An average of 7.2 lymph nodes were removed in 25 cases of lung cancer, and all lymph nodes had no metastasis. Conclusion VATS anatomical segmentectomy is technically safe and reliable, and the indications for lung cancer need to be strictly controlled. Its advantages still need to be confirmed by prospective randomized controlled trials.

Background and objective The development of image technology has led to increasing detection of pulmonary small nodules year by year, but the determination of their nature before operation is difficult. This clinical study aimed to investigate the necessity and feasibility of surgical resection of pulmonary small nodules through a minimally invasive approach and the operational manner of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods The clinical data of 129 cases with pulmonary small nodule of 10 mm or less in diameter were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from December 2013 to November 2016. Thin-section computed tomography (CT) was performed on all cases with 129 pulmonary small nodules. CT-guided hook-wire precise localization was performed on 21 cases. Lobectomy, wedge resection, and segmentectomy with lymph node dissection might be performed in patients according to physical condition. Results Results of the pathological examination of 37 solid pulmonary nodules (SPNs) revealed 3 primary squamous cell lung cancers, 3 invasive adenocarcinomas (IAs), 2 metastatic cancers, 2 small cell lung cancers (SCLCs), 16 hamartomas, and 12 nonspecific chronic inflammations. The results of pathological examination of 49 mixed ground glass opacities revealed 19 IAs, 6 micro invasive adenocarcinomas (MIAs), 4 adenocarcinomas in situ (AIS), 1 atypical adenomatous hyperplasia (AAH), 1 SCLC, and 18 nonspecific chronic inflammations. The results of pathological examination of 43 pure ground glass opacities revealed 19 AIS, 6 MIAs, 6 IA, 6 AAHs, and 6 nonspecific chronic inflammations. Wedge resection under video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) was performed in patients with 52 benign pulmonary small nodules. Lobectomy and systematic lymph node dissection under VATS were performed in 33 patients with NSCLC. Segmentectomy with selective lymph node dissection, wedge resection, and selective lymph node dissection under VATS were performed in six patients with NSCLC. Two patients received secondary lobectomy and systematic lymph node dissection under VATS because of intraoperative frozen pathologic error that happened in six cases. Two cases of N2 lymph node metastasis were found in patients with SPN of IA. Conclusion Positive surgical treatment should be taken on patients with persistent pulmonary small nodules, especially ground glass opacity, because they have a high rate of malignant lesions. During the perioperative period, surgeons should fully inform the patients and family members that error exist in frozen pathologic results to avoid medical disputes.

Background and objective The reasonable operational manner of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in early stage is in dispute. This clinical study is to investigate the operational manner of NSCLC 10 mm or less in diameter. Methods The clinical datas of 46 cases with NSCLC 10 mm or less in diameter were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from July 2013 to March 2016. Thin-section computed tomography (CT) was done on all cases with 46 pulmonary nodules (5 solid nodules, 23 mGGOs and 18 pGGOs). Lobectomy, wedge resection and segmentectomy with lymph node dissection may be performed in patients according to age or heart and lung function. CT-guided Hook-wire precise localization was done on 7 cases. Results Lobectomy and systematic lymph node dissection under video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) were performed in patients with 23 pulmonary nodules (15 mGGOs, 4 pGGOs and 4 solid nodules ), among wich, only one patient with N2 lymph node matastasis was found. Wedge resection and selective lymph node dissection under VATS were done in patients with 5 pulmonary nodules (2 mGGOs and 3 pGGOs), and segmentectomy and selective lymph node dissection under VATS were done in patients with 4 pulmonary nodules (2 mGGOs and 2 pGGOs), among wich, no patient with lymph node matastasis was found. CT-guided Hook-wire precise localization was done successfully on 7 cases. Conclusion Usually NSCLC with pGGO and mGGO nodules 10 mm or less in diameter has no lymph node metastasis, therefore, systematic lymph node dissection may be not necessary. Selective lymph node dissection or systematic lymph node dissection should be performed in patients with solid nodules 10 mm or less in diameter. Wedge resection and segmentectomy may be performed in patients with advanced age or lower heart and lung function. The preoperative CT-guided Hook-wire localization for pulmonary nodules particularly for GGOs is an effective and safe technique to assist VATS resection of the GGOs.

Background and objective Localization of pulmonary ground glass nodule is the technical difficulty of minimally invasive operation resection. The aim of this study is to evaluate the value of computed tomography (CT)-guided Hook-wire precise localization in resection of pulmonary nodules by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) as well as to discuss the necessity and feasibility of surgical resection of GGOs through a minimally invasive approach. Methods CT-guided Hook-wire precise localization and wedge resection was done on 25 cases with 26 pulmonary nodules by VATS from May 2013 to June 2015. The efficacy of localization was evaluated in terms of procedure time, VATS success rate, and associated complications of localization. Results All the 26 pulmonary nodules (6 solid nodules and 20 GGOs ) of 25 patients (10 males and 15 females) were preoperatively detected and localized with Hook-wire under CT guidance. Nodule diameters ranged from 5 mm-20 mm (mean: 8 mm). The distance of lung lesions from the nearest pleural surfaces ranged within 5 mm-30 mm (mean: 14 mm). All resections of lesions guided by the Hook-wire were successfully performed by VATS (success rate: 100%). The mean procedure time for the CT-guided Hook-wire localization was 10 min (range: 5 min-10 min). The mean procedure time for VATS wedge resection was 20 min (range: 15 min-40 min). The mean hospital time was 4 d (range: 3 d-6 d). The major complication of CT-guided Hook-wire localization was mild pneumothorax in 4 patients, but no one needed chest tube drainage. Wedge resection was performed successfully in all cases. The dislocation of Hook-wire was found in only one patient during the operation, but the lesion was still successfully resected under VATS. Results of pathological examination of 16 mGGOs revealed 8 primary lung cancers and 8 nonspecific chronic inflammations. Results of pathological examination of 4 pGGOs revealed 1 primary lung cancers, 1 atypical adenomatous hyperplasia (AAH), and 2 nonspecific chronic inflammations. Conclusion The preoperative CT-guided Hook-wire localization for pulmonary nodules particularly for GGOs is an effective and safe technique to assist VATS resection of the nodules. It can increase the ratio of lung wedge resection with little complications and may be better used in clinical diagnosis and treatment of small pulmonary nodules with VATS. Lung mGGOs carry a high risk of malignancy. Aggressive surgical resection of these mGGOs is necessary and feasible.

Background and objective A solitary pulmonary nodule (SPN) is defined as a round intraparenchimal lung lesion less than 3 cm in size, not associated with atelectasis or adenopathy. The aim of this study is to learn clinical experience of the treatment of SPN with Da Vinci Surgical System. Methods A total of 9 patients with solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN) less than 3 cm in diameter was treated with Da Vinci Surgical System (Intuitive Surgical, California) in thoracic surgery department from General Hospital of Shenyang Militrary Region from November 2011 to March 2014. This group of patients included 3 males and 6 females, and the mean age was 51±9.9 yr (range: 41-74 yr). Most of the patients were no obvious clinical symptoms (7 cases were found by physical examination, others were with cough and expectoration). Their median medical history was 12 mo (range: 4 d-3 yr). All the lesions of patients were peripheral pulmonary nodules and the mean diameter of those was (1.4±0.6) cm(range: 0.8-2.8 cm). Wedge-shaped resection or lobectomy was performed depending on the result of rapid pathology and systemic lymph node dissection was done for malignant leision. We used general anesthesis with double lumens trachea cannula. We set the patients in lateral decubitus position with jackknife. The patient cart enter from top of the patient. The position of trocars would be set according to the position of lesion. A 12 mm incision was positioned at the 8th intercostal space in the posterior axillary line as vision port, and two 8 mm incisions were positioned at the 5th intercostal space between the anterior axillary line and midclavicular line, and the 8th infrascapular line as robotic instrument ports about 10 cm apart from the vision port. One additional auxiliary small incision for instrument without retracting ribs was set at the 7th intercostal space in the middle axillary line. Results There were 4 benign leisions and 5 malignancies identified. Wedge-shaped resection was performed for 4 patients, lobectomy with systemic lymph node dissection for 3 patients (including 2 right middle lobectomies and 1 left upper lobectomy) and wedge-shaped resection with systemic lymph node dissection for 2 patients of poor lung function. All of the 9 cases were completed with total robotic procedure without conversion. The pathological results included 3 inflammatory pseudotumors, 1 hamartoma, 5 adenocarcinomas. All of the 29 patients were hospital discharged smoothly. The patients were followed up for 0.1-18.5 mo (median 11 mo) without recurrence or metastasis. Conclusion The SPN patients should be given active surgical treatments to improve the diagnose rate as well as the cure rate of early non-small cell lung cancer. Since da Vinci Surgical System is a safe and minimally invasive treatment for SPN, it has higher value to the diagnosis and treatment of SPN.

Rotordynamic characteristics of a high temperature sodium liquid (HTSL) seal were studied in this paper by using CFD software. Compared with the water liquid seal, the HTSL seal has a larger leakage flow rate and a lower drag power loss. The HTSL seal has a larger direct stiffness coefficient and the effective stiffness coefficient Keff is also larger than the water liquid seal, which means the HTSL seal has a better stiffness capacity. The HTSL seal possesses a positive effective damping coefficient Ceff in the whole whirling frequency range, which means better stability for the rotor system especially in high rotor speeds [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In recent years, animal behavior analysis has become one of the most important methods in the fields of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Taking advantage of the powerful deep-learning-based image analysis technology, researchers have developed state-of-the-art automatic animal behavior analysis methods with complex functions. Compared with traditional methods of animal behavior analysis, special labeling is not required in these methods, animal pose can be efficiently estimated and tracked. These methods like in a natural environment, which hold the potential for complex animal behavior experiments. Therefore, the application of deep learning in animal behavior analysis is reviewed. Firstly, this paper analyzes the tasks and current status of animal behavior analysis. Then, it highlights and compares existing deep learning-based animal behavior analysis tools. According to the dimension of experimental analysis, the deep learning-based animal behavior analysis tools are divided into two-dimensional animal behavior analysis tools and three-dimensional animal behavior analysis tools, and the functions, performance and scope of application of tools are discussed. Furthermore, the existing animal datasets and evaluation metrics are introduced, and the algorithm mechanism used in the existing animal behavior analysis tool is summarized from the advantages, limitations and applicable scenarios. Finally, the deep learning-based animal behavior analysis tools are prospected from the aspects of dataset, experimental paradigm and low latency.

The effects of soymilk fermented with single and mixed (1:1:1) cultures of three strains of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) isolated from sourdough from Fuchun Teahouse in Yangzhou City on the fermentation characteristics of dough and the quality of steamed bun were investigated. The results showed that the acidity and viable bacterial count of soymilk fermented with the mixed culture were 85.06 °T and 9.66 (lg(CFU/mL)), respectively, which were higher than those of the single culture fermented samples. Meanwhile, compared with the control group, the addition of fermented soymilk significantly increased the organic acid content and viable bacterial count of dough. The lactic acid content and viable bacterial count of dough supplemented with Lactobacillus pentosus 203 fermented soymilk were the highest, which were 18.57 mg/g and 8.94 (lg(CFU/g)), respectively. Dough added with Lactobacillus fermentum 202 fermented soymilk had the highest acetic acid content (3.81 mg/g). Compared with control steamed buns, the specific volume, elasticity and height to diameter ratio of four steamed buns supplemented with fermented soymilk were significantly increased, while the hardness and chewiness were significantly decreased. Steamed buns added with mixed-culture fermented soymilk had the highest overall acceptability. A total of 48 volatile flavor substances were detected in the five groups of steamed buns. Among them, the relative contents and types of flavor substances in the mixed culture group were the highest, which were 71.62% and 47, respectively. After being stored at 4 ℃ for 4 days, the moisture loss rate and retrogradation enthalpy of steamed buns added with fermented soymilk were significantly lower than those of the control group; the highest moisture content of 38.53% and the lowest retrogradation enthalpy of 1.00 J/g were found in the mixed culture group. In conclusion, adding fermented soymilk can effectively improve the quality and flavor and delay the aging of steamed buns, this effect being most pronounced with the incorporation of mixed-culture fermented soymilk.

Objective: To establish chemical fingerprints of pepper oleoresins from different geographical origins and comprehensively analyze and compare their quality characteristics. Methods: The compositions of piperines, chemical elements and volatile flavor compounds in pepper oleoresins from Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam were quantitatively analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UVD), inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS), respectively. Furthermore, chemometrics was applied to identify the potential chemical markers to discriminate geographical origins of pepper oleoresin. Results: Sample II from Sri Lanka contained significantly higher levels of piperine (31.57%) and piperonylic acid (0.72%) than the other samples, whereas sample I from Indonesia showed significantly higher contents of piperonol (1.88%) and piperlongumine (1.89%) than the other samples. A total of 54 chemical elements were simultaneously quantified in pepper oleoresin. Among them, 13 were determined as major differential elements, including Cs, Na, Cu, Rb, Ru, P, Mg, Sn, Ag, K, Mo, Cr and Co. The abundance of elements decreased in the order of Vietnam > Indonesia > Sri Lanka. Altogether, 90 volatile compounds were identified. Vietnam samples had the strongest aroma, followed by Indonesian samples. The significantly differential volatiles identified were n-pentane cyanide, 1-cyanopropene, linalool, 2-ethylpyrazine, ethyl valerate, valeraldehyde, n-caproic acid, 2-ethylfuran, isobutyraldehyde and limonene. In conclusion, there are significant differences in the chemical fingerprints of pepper oleoresin from different geographical origins. Overall, pepper oleoresin from Vietnam exhibits superior quality to those from the other two countries.

Space electric propulsion technology has entered a new stage of maturity and full application in China. In order to further promote and accelerate the development of electric propulsion technology, this paper adopted the methods of investigation and comparative analysis and used the power as the standard to classify and summarize space electric propulsion from the three power ranges of "medium, micro, and ultra". It also focused on the application requirements for electric propulsion in future space missions and the characteristics of various technical directions of electric propulsion. The development status and shortcomings of electric propulsion technology at home and abroad were put forward, as well as the key difficulties to be overcome. The main development trend was studied and judged, and the common problems were summarized. Proposals for the development of space electric propulsion technology in the next 10 years were put forward for the reference of satellite users, departments of overall design, and technical departments of space electric propulsion.

In order to explore the effect of selenium-sulfur interaction on the glucosinolate content and antioxidant properties of Chinese cabbage sprouts, the seeds were sprayed with 4 mmol/L ZnSO4, 50 or 100 μmol/L Na2SeO3 or their combination during sprouting and the changes in the major physiological and biochemical indexes, antioxidant capacity and glucosinolates content of Chinese cabbage sprouts were analyzed. The results showed that the application of ZnSO4 alone caused growth stress on Chinese cabbage sprouts, while the application of Na2SeO3 alone increase the length and fresh mass of sprouts per plant. The combined application of Na2SeO3 and ZnSO4 could effectively alleviate the inhibitory effect of ZnSO4 on the growth and development of Chinese cabbage sprouts. Moreover, compared with the control group (deionized water), ZnSO4 combined with Na2SeO3 significantly increased total selenium content and the contents of total glucosinolates (P < 0.05), and the combined application of ZnSO4 and 50 μmol/L Na2SeO3 resulted in an approximate 50% increase in the total content of glucosinolates. The contents of total selenium and total glucosinolates were significantly higher on the sixth day than on the fourth day of sprouting. The results of the study provide data support for the production of functional Chinese cabbage sprouts rich in selenium and glucosinolates.

Objective To explore the surgical method and clinical effect of nasal endoscope-assisted resection of maxillary cysts and the related factors affecting the clinical symptoms of maxillary cysts. Methods The clinical data of 34 patients with maxillary cysts admitted to our department from May 2018 to May 2022 were collected to analyze the selection of surgical methods and treatment effects of nasal endoscope-assisted resection of maxillary cysts. At the same time, the visual analogue scale (VAS) score of patients’ nasal and facial discomfort at different time points before and after surgery was collected to analyze its influencing factors. Results Six patients underwent endoscopic sinus fenestration surgery through the nasal floor approach; 2 patients underwent endoscopic surgery through the natural ostium of the maxillary sinus approach; 1 patient underwent endoscopic fenestration through the inferior nasal meatus approach; 25 patients underwent endoscopic surgery through the natural ostium of the maxillary sinus combined with the prelacrimal recess approach. Postoperative follow-up for 5-24 months showed good mucosal epithe-lialization of the surgical cavity, significant relief of symptoms, unobstructed drainage of the cystic cavity, and no recurrence in these cases. Leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminate （LPD） is a rare benign proliferative disease characterized by the presence of multiple nodules composed of smooth muscle tissues scattered in the pelvic and abdominal peritoneum, omentum, intestines, mesentery and recto-uterine pouch. Most patients present with non-specific symptoms. Single case reports have been reported at home and abroad. Cellular leiomyoma is a special type of leiomyoma. Few cases of LPD secondary to cellular leiomyoma have been described. In this article, one case of cellular leiomyoma presenting with LPD at 5 months after myomectomy was reported. In this patient, the nodules of LPD grew to 9 cm in a short period of time. The growth was rapid, which was extremely rare. In this article, literature review was performed to investigate the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of LPD, explore its relationship with cellular leiomyoma, and summarize the diagnosis and treatment experience of this case.

Network traffic anomaly detection based on deep learning usually has the problems of poor adaptability to real-world environments,limited representation ability and week generalization ability.From the perspective of these problems,a network traffic anomaly detection method based on multi-scale memory residual network is proposed.Based on the analysis of high-dimensional feature space distribution,this paper demon-strates the validity of the approach to network traffic data preprocessing.Combining multi-scale one-dimensional convolution and long short-term memory network,the representation ability is enhanced by deep learning classifiers.To make the network traffic anomaly detection accurate and efficient,by the idea of residual network,the deep feature extraction is implemented,the problems of vanishing/exploding gradients,the over-fitting and network degradation are prevented,and the convergence speed of the model is accelerated.The visualizations of data preprocessing result suggest that,compared with standardization,normalization has better capability to separate the abnormal traffic data from the normal traffic data.The result of validity verification and performance evaluation experiment reveal that,by inserting identity mapping,the convergence speed of the model can be accelerated,and the network degradation problem can be efficiently addressed.The result of contrast experiment indicates the one-dimensional convolution and long short-term memory network can reinforce the representation and generalization ability of our model,and the performance metrics of our model is better than that of the current deep learning model.

The microtremor H/V spectral ratio is the ratio of the horizontal component to the vertical component of the ambient seismic noise at different frequencies, recorded at the earth surface. In the field of engineering earthquake, V and H are usually used to denote the vertical and horizontal components of the microtremor, respectively. Based on the measured H/V curve, which is a function of frequency, the sedimentary thickness or site amplification factor can be estimated using the established relationship between the peak of the H/V curve and the fundamental resonance frequency of the formation structure. Although it has been widely used in the field of engineering earthquake, the theoretical explanation on the microtremor H/V method, which is also called HVSR (Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio) or QTS (Quasi-Transfer Spectrum), is still under debate, since which is the dominant wave type of the microtremor (Rayleigh wave, S wave or the other types of waves) is unclear. This leads the microtremor H/V method to be developed in two directions. One is to identify the Rayleigh wave energy from the microtremor and calculate the ZH amplitude ratio of the Rayleigh wave (i.e.Rayleigh wave ellipticity), where Z represents the vertical component of the Rayleigh waveand V represents the eigenvalue of the horizontal component. As an independent variable, the Rayleigh wave ZH ratio is sensitive to shallow structure and it has been widely used to constrain the shallow structure combined with the phase or/and group velocity in regional-scale seismic tomography. This process assumes that the dominant energy in the H/V curve is from Rayleigh wave. Apart from being used in the joint inversion of the large scale earth structure with the Rayleigh wave dispersion and/or receiver function, Rayleigh wave ellipticity is also used to invert the near-surface S-wave velocity structure in engineering geophysical prospecting on a small scale. The peak of the H/V curve can be used to figure out the site characteristics under the assumption of that SH wave dominates the microtremor. This assumption is in consistent with the observation that the Rayleigh wave energy is usually dominated. Another direction of the microtremor H/V method development is to develop noise source model, with which all possible contributions of noise energy are considered. The H/V curve is then interpreted based on this model. The controversy on which type of wave dominates the microtremor is avoided. The model has been proved to be suitable for explaining the real microtremor record and the shape of H/V curve. This direction is developed with the develovement of seismic interference theory. We have reviewed the theory and application of Rayleigh wave ellipticity on the regional scale. This paper mainly reviews the theory and application of microtremor H/V method in the field of engineering earthquake and near-surface S-wave velocity structure inversions, including the theoretical interpretation of H/V curve based on SH wave resonance frequency, the application of microtremor H/V method in site estimation, and the noise source model developed to explain the H/V curve.

Objective To study the expression and function of miR-433 in the development of colorectal cancer. Methods RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression of miR-433 in clinical specimens and serum of patients with colorectal cancer, and compared with those from adjacent tissues or at different stages of tumore development and from normal persons. The colorectal cancer cell lines HT-29, HCT-116, SW480 and normal colon cell line NCM460 were cultured, and the expression of miR-433 was measured by real-time quantitative PCR. Subsequently, miR-433 mimic was transfected into SW480 cells,CCK-8 was used to detect cell proliferation, flow cytometry was used to detect cell cycle changes, scratch test and Transwell test were used to detect cell migration and invasion respectively. Results Compared with the adjacent tissues, the expression of miR-433 in colorectal cancer tissues was significantly decreased(P＜0.05). The serum level of miR-433 in patients with colon cancer was also significantly lower than that in normal persons(P＜0.05). In addition, from stage Ⅰ to stage Ⅳ of TNM, the expression of miR-433 in colorectal cancer tissues gradually and significantly decreased. Compared with normal human colon epithelial cell line NCM460, the expression of miR-433 was down-regulated in colorectal cancer cell lines HT-29, HCT-116 and SW480(P＜0.05). Compared with the control group, the proliferation of SW480 cells was significantly inhibited(P＜0.05) and the proportion of G2 and M phase cells increased after SW480 transfection. The invasion and migration of cells decreased significantly after up-regulation of miR-433(P＜0.05). Conclusions The expression of miR-433 is decreased in colorectal cancer. Up-regulation of its expression in SW480 cells inhibits cell proliferation, invasion and migration.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of different methods in decompression of biliary tract(jaundice reduction) for patients with periampullary carcinoma combined with obstructive jaundice. Methods The clinical data of 128 patients with malignant jaundice treated by preoperative biliary decompression before pancreaticoduodenectomy were retrospectively analyzed in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2015 to September 2020. Patients were divided into endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) with stent placement group including 80 cases and percutaneous transhepatic cholangial drainage (PTCD) group including 48 cases according to different methods of jaundice reduction. Serological indicators including total bilirubin (TB) were monitored before jaundice reduction(TBpre) and surgery within one week respectively. The efficacy of jaundice reduction in two groups was compared and further categories were carried out according to the histological types. Results TB after jaundice reduction(TBpost), TB reduction rate and the reduction adequacy rate (the percentage of postoperative TB≤100 μmol/L) in ERCP group were significantly better than those in PTCD group [(68±45)μmol/L vs (114±69)μmol/L; 73.9%±16.9% vs 64.2%±21.2%;83.8% vs 56.3%]. In patients with duodenal ampullary carcinoma,TBpost, TB reduction rate and the reduction adequacy rate in ERCP group were better than those in PTCD group [(51±20)μmol/L vs (103±49)μmol/L;78.6%±10.9% vs 67.2%±14.8%;100% vs 58.3%]. In patients with distal cholangiocarcinoma with TBpost, TB reduction rate and the reduction adequacy rate of ERCP group were better than those of PTCD group [(76±52)μmol/L vs (161±51)μmol/L;70.6%±18.5% vs 56.5%±10.4%;82.1% vs 11.1%]. Conclusions For patients with malignant obstructive jaundice, stent placement by ERCP is recommended as the first choice for preoperative jaundice reduction, especially for those with ampler carcinoma or distal cholangiocarcinoma.

Objective: This study investigated the influence of Hawley retainer and vacuum-formed retainer on the articu-lation of Chinese speech of adult orthodontic patients., Methods: A total of 20 volunteers were recruited in this randomized controlled trial in accordance with the inclusion criteria. Participants were randomly distributed into two groups, namely, the Hawley retainer group and the vacuum-formed retainer group. Speech performance was evaluated at the following time inter-vals: before wearing retainers (T0), immediately after wearing both upper and lower retainers (T1), 24 h later (T2), 1 week later (T3), and 1 month later (T4). The phonetic parameters were acquired through the use of computer-based voice analysis software Praat version 5.4.21, and the final data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0., Results: Both retainers can influence the phonetic parameters of vowels /e/, /i/, and /ü/ and consonants /s/, /f/, /x/, /t/, /j/, and /q/. However, the Hawley retainer showed a more remarkable effect on the articulation of Chinese speech, and the distortion of /i/, /ü/, and /s/ sounds can last for more than 1 month. Nevertheless, the recovery period of the patients' phonetic function in the vacuum-formed retainer group was within 1 month., Conclusions: Both retainers can induce distortion of some Chinese vowels and consonants in the speech of adult orthodontic patients, but the Hawley retainer can more significantly influence the articulation of Chinese speech than vacuum-formed retainer.
