Ion migration spectrometry technology is an effective method for rapid detection of chemical warfare agents in the field. 63Ni source for poision alarm is a common ionization source because of its advantages of no maintenance and safe use. In this paper, the preparation method of 63Ni source for poision alarm was studied, and the activity measuring device and electroplating device were designed. The most important is to study the parameters of electroplating process, so as to determine the best electroplating conditions are temperature 20 ℃, current density 20 mA/cm2, pH 2-3, electroplating time 10 min. Finally, parallelism experiment and fastness test were carried out. The results show that the qualified rate of primary electroplating of the radioactive source prepared by this method can reach 100% and the coating and nickel sheet are firmly bonded. The radioactive source prepared by this method can meet the requirements of ion migration spectrometry technology.

The paper introduced functions, characteristics and application in Qingdong Coal Mine of information monitoring system of safety production, and focused on the system construction and analysis of problems found in the construction and their solutions. The application result showed that the system has characteristics of simple and convenient operation, reliable and stable performance, high real-time performance, and little maintenance, and achieves purpose of downsizing for efficiency in coal mine.

The research on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions is of great importance to the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine. Due to the complexity of TCM prescriptions, the multi-target and multi-channel action mechanism has become a bottleneck in research. Therefore, the search of an appropriate method is the key to current research approaches. Considering the complex network control theory has a great prospect for applications in life sciences, it is possible to identify the driver nodes and classify the components in the network, identifying three different categories of components (critical, common and redundant). It is expected to accurately identify the key targets in prescriptions and reveal the compatibility rules, so as to establish new research models of compatibility of prescriptions, deploy new methods to optimize the composition of prescriptions, and form new ideas to explore the core mechanism of prescriptions, thus providing new strategies for drug development and precision treatment. To address the problem of lacking data in the field of footprint recognition, a translation algorithm based on footprint pressure image is proposed. The algorithm is used to translate shoe print pressure images to bare foot pressure images. First, the original data are preprocessed by denoising, centralization and rotation. Secondly, a symmetric multi-branch generative adversarial network (SMbGAN) is presented for the image translation, which divides a footprint image into an upper part and a lower one to achieve the translation separately, and then use the global and local discriminators for the image judgement to make the network pay attention to the details of footprint images. Finally, in order to validate the effectiveness of translation results, the identity retrieval experiment is carried out on the reconstructed bare foot pressure images according to the comparison of the structural similarity (SSIM) and the mean absolute error (MAE) between the real images and the translated images. The results show that compared with other structures, SMbGAN is more suitable for the footprint image translation task. The value of SSIM between real barefoot images and fake barefoot images is 0.988, the MAE is 4.334 and the Rank1 of identity retrieval is 0.462. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this study was to cover the shortage of forage crop in winter and to increase the bio-mass yield and the quality of forage rapeseed by improving the planting pattern of winter forage crop. In this study, rapeseed was sown after mixing with milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus), ryegrass (Loliumperenne L.) and hairy vetch (Vicia villosa) in different mixed ratios. Plot experiments were conducted to measure the biomass, CP, C and N content of each treatment, exploring the feasibility of mixed cropping of forage rapeseed with other forage crops. The results showed that there were significant differences among the mixed cropping of forage rapeseed with milk vetch, ryegrass and hairy vetch. (1) Forage rapeseed mixed with hairy vetch in all different ratios increased the biomass. Mixed cropping at the ratio 1: 4 could obtain higher biomass and dry weight than the other ratios under different stages, and which also improved CP significantly at the final flowering stage. (2) Forage rapeseed mixed with milk vetch could increase the biomass of forage rapeseed with no significant difference. The milk vetch mixed with forage rapeseed died at the late stage due to the weak light. (3) Forage rapeseed mixed with ryegrass decreased the biomass and CP. Therefore, forage rapeseed mixed with hairy vetch was proven an effective system to improve the benefit of winter forage production in the Yangtze River Valley. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper proposed a static gait clustering algorithm to explore the application of plantar pressure features in personal identification. Firstly, the algorithm extracted the common plantar pressure features including global and local ones from the static data through a pressure platform, which could be a vector to characterize the samples. Then it used non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) method to get the mapping of the samples in the transformed feature space and the representation in low-dimensional space. Finally, after dimensionality reduction, these features were to be clustered by fuzzy C-means algorithm (FCM). The result shows that the clustering accuracy can reach about 90% and compared with other methods, it has advantages in accuracy at the same time. Through the experiment and comparative analysis, the method which compressed the sample data to a very low-dimensional feature space can retain the category information of samples, and then draw the conclusion that the plantar pressure features extracted from the algorithm are effective and feasible. Firstly, this paper summarized all of the IaaS cloud service pricing method, and determined the pay-per-use and subscription pricing methods of the cloud services industry generally uses. By analyzing the IaaS service pricing factors, it got the main factor of IaaS cloud computing services: quality of service levels. It mapped five basic parameters of IaaS cloud services (initial investment, contract period, rate of depreciation, quality of service and age of resources) to BSM model, and used the compounded-Moore's law and BSM formula to calculate the ranges for pay-per-use and subscription pricing methods. It is better solve the disadvantages of computing service providers pricing for IaaS computing service, and provides the measures for cloud computing service from cloud computing service providers and IaaS cloud service users. To improve the accuracy of rapeseed cultivars fingerprint detection and to construct a large - scale rapeseed new variety fingerprint databases in the future, a fingerprint identification platform was constructed by capillary electrophoresis detection method with fluorescent SSR markers in the national winter rapeseed varieties ( lines ) field trials. 42 locus and 131 alleles were detected by 40 fluorescent SSR primers in 163 newly bred winter rapeseed (Brassica napus L. ) varieties ( lines ) . 25 locus were detected in A genome (n1 - n 1 0 ) and 17 locus were detected in C genome (n11 - n19) . Alleles were obtained from 2 - 6 with average of 3. 02 at 42 locus. The polymorphic information content values (PIC) ranged from 0. 1 to 0 . 6 9 , with a mean of 0. 36. Primer BRGMS171 was determined according to the heterogosite rate ( 0 . 6 7 ) and PIC value ( 0 . 7 ) which could be used as preferred core primer for hybrid purity identification. The average SSR locus homozygosity of 18 open lines was 81. 9% , and that of 145 hybrid varieties was 57. 9%. Dice similarity coefficient among 163 newly bred winter rapeseed varieties ( lines ) were calculated by 131 alleles, with an average range of 0 . 6 0 7 to 0.765. Choosing measurement models is a key process in the empirical studies, and the differences between reflective measurement model formative measurement model play an important role in choosing appropriate measurement model and building scientific theories. Based on the differences between reflective measurement model and formative measurement model, an empirical study with technology accept model (TAM) was conducted to investigate the differences of external validity and the explained capability to endogenous latent variables between reflective measurement model and formative measurement model using 1951 samples which were collected in 7 surveys. The results indicate that reflective measurement model has stable external validity, while the external validity of formative measurement model is influenced by sample size, research context, and survey time. The results also suggest that there are no differences in the explained capability to endogenous latent variables between reflective measurement model and formative measurement model. Even if formative measurement model is misspecified as reflective measurement model, the explained capability to endogenous latent variables does not always significantly improve. Estuary and nearshore waters have complicated environment, where plankton community has a frequent feedback regulation and a very unstable particle size structure. In this paper, an investigation was made on the particle size structure of plankton in the turbidity zone of nearshore and port area waters in Liaoning Province of Northeast China. In the waters with high concentration inorganic nitrogen, phytoplankton biomass was mainly of small particle sizes, with the equivalent sphere diameter (ESD) being primarily 20-100 μm, while in low nutrient waters, the phytoplankton biomass was mainly of larger size particles, with the ESD>100 μm, indicating that the phytoplankton feedback regulation caused the phytoplankton community to be comprised of small sized organisms as part of the biological responses to high concentration suspended solids, which reduced the individual number of larger organisms such as Coscinodiscus sp. and other species, and in turn, directly affected the fisheries resources, including a variety of fish and shrimp larvae fed on phytoplankton. A normalized biomass size spectrum with the characteristics of nearshore shallow aquatic oceanic ecosystems exhibiting eutrophication was constructed. The spectrum slope indicated that the plankton community biomass would gradually increase in size. Objective To evaluate the value of 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in preoperative assessment of cervical cancer in the early-middle stage. Methods A total of 53 patients with cervical cancer in the early-middle stage in Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University from January 2008 to June 2014 were selected, which were conducted by MRI routine scan and enhanced scanning, MRI staging and lymphatic metastasis judging. The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) staging was performed according to clinicopathological information. The reliability of MRI staging and lymphatic metastasis judging on cancer was compared with FIGO and postoperative pathologic results, which were used as gold standard. Results It was suspected Ia in 5 cases, Ib in 22 cases, IIa in 22 cases, IIb in 4 cases by preoperative MRI staging, while Ia in 6 cases, Ib in 23 cases, IIa in 21 cases, IIb in 3 cases diagnosed by FIGO stage. There was no statistically significant difference between MRI staging and FIGO(P>0.05). 38 of 51 lymph node metastasis suspected by MRI was confirmed pathologically. It was also found 11 metastasis lymph nodes pathologically while MRI failed to detect, which had no statistically significant difference between them (P>0.05). To accurately simulate the flow of one-dimensional shallow water, a semi-implicit scheme is proposed based on space staggered grid system. The flux limiter method is employed to control the accuracy of the proposed scheme to guarantee the conservation of the scheme. Measuring the complexity of information system (IS) is a prerequisite for information systems cost estimating and information systems pricing. For measuring the IS complexity more comprehensive and dynamically, one new construct of data complexity is brought forward and is divided into three dimensions, which are data structure, data volume, and data manipulation. Then, information entropy models are used to compute the complexity of data structure, data volume, and data manipulation, and the grid space theory is employed to calculate the overall data complexity. Finally, an empirical study is conducted with the material management system and sale management systems in two manufacturing firms, and the results indicate that the measurement model and computation method of data complexity are useful to measure the complexity of information system. Objective: To assess the influence of FLT3 expression on the prognosis of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by cell experiment and clinical data analysis., Methods: Models for FLT3 over-expression and interference-expression in AML cells were constructed. The level of BAK gene expression and its protein product was determined, along with the proliferation and apoptosis of leukemia cells. FLT3 gene expression and FLT3-ITD variant were determined among patients with newly diagnosed AML., Results: Compared with the interference-expression group, the level of BAK gene expression and its protein in FLT3 over-expression AML cells was significantly lower (P < 0.001), which also showed significantly faster proliferation (P < 0.001) and lower rate of apoptosis (P < 0.001). The expression level of FLT3 gene among patients with newly diagnosed AML was also significantly higher compared with the healthy controls (P < 0.001). The FLT3 gene expression of FLT3-ITD positive AML patients was higher than that of FLT3-WT patients (P = 0.002). Survival analysis showed that AML patients with high FLT3 expression in the medium-risk group had a lower complete remission rate and overall survival rate compared with those with a low FLT3 expression (P < 0.001)., Conclusion: Over-expression of FLT3 may influence the course of AML by promoting the proliferation of leukemia cells and inhibiting their apoptosis, which in turn may affect the prognosis of patients and serve as a negative prognostic factor for AML.

The new progress has been made in the research of programmed cell death (e.g. autophagy, apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis and ferroptosis) for the pathological mechanism of ischemic stroke. As an important non-pharmacological therapy, acupuncture is widely used in stroke patients and has achieved favorable effect. The researches in recent years have shown that acupuncture plays its neuroprotective role on ischemic stroke by modulation of autophagy, apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis and ferroptosis of neurons. Acupuncture is effective in treatment of ischemic stroke by regulating programmed cell death.

Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivators-1-alpha (PGC-1α), Irisin and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the ischemic peripheral cortex, hippocampus and local skeletal muscle in rats with focal cerebral ischemic/reperfusion injury (CI/RI), so as to explore its underlying mechanism of improving of CI/RI., Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham-operation, model and EA (11 rats in each group). The focal CI/RI model was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). EA (2 Hz /15 Hz, 2 to 4 mA) was applied to "Quchi" (LI11) and "Zusanli" (ST36) of the affected side for 20 min, once a day for 7 days. Zea-Longa's score and Balance Beam score were used to evaluate the neurological and motor functions. The infarcted volume of the brain was detected by using 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. The expression levels of PGC-1α, fibronectin type III domain-containing protein 5(FNDC5) and BDNF proteins in the ischemic peripheral cortex, hippocampus and local skeletal muscle were detected by Western blot., Results: Compared with the sham-operation group, the Zea-Longa's score, Balance Beam score, percentage of cerebral infarct volume were notably increased ( P <0.01), while the expression levels of PGC-1α, FNDC5 and BDNF proteins in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus (not in the local muscle) were significantly down-regulated in the model group ( P <0.01, P <0.05). In comparison with the model group, the increase of Zea-Longa's score, Balance Beam score, percentage of cerebral infarct volume, and the decrease of expression levels of PGC-1α, FNDC5 and BDNF proteins in the ischemic peripheral cortex and that of BDNF in the hippocampus were reversed in the EA group ( P <0.01, P <0.05). No significant changes were found in the expression levels of hippocampal PGC-1α and FNDC5 proteins in the hippocampus and those of PGC-1α, FNDC5 and BDNF proteins in the local muscle after EA intervention ( P >0.05)., Conclusion: EA can improve neurological and motor functions and reduce cerebral infarction volume in CI/RI rats, which may be related to its functions in activating PGC-1α/Irisin(FNDC5)/BDNF pathway in the cerebral cortex.

Objectives: To study the serum levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their association with the core symptoms of ASD., Methods: A total of 150 ASD children aged 2-7 years (ASD group) and 165 healthy children matched for age and sex (control group) who were recruited at the outpatient service of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children were enrolled as subjects. Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC) and Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) were used to evaluate the core symptoms of the ASD children. Chemiluminescence was used to measure the serum levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in both groups., Results: The ASD group had a significantly lower serum level of IGF-1 than the control group ( P <0.05). The children with severe ASD had significantly lower serum levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 than those with mild-to-moderate ASD ( P <0.001). For the children aged 2-3 years, the ASD group had a significantly lower serum level of IGF-1 than the control group ( P <0.05). Boys had a significantly lower serum level of IGF-1 than girls in both ASD and control groups ( P <0.05). The serum levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 were negatively correlated with the total score of CARS ( r =-0.32 and -0.40 respectively, P <0.001)., Conclusions: The reduction in serum IGF-1 level in early childhood may be associated with the development of ASD, and the serum levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 are associated with the core symptoms of ASD children.

We developed a portable non-specific low back pain measurement system EasiLBP and evaluated its performance in collecting EMG signals:during the wearer's movement without the assistance of a doctor, the collection of EMG signals by portable devices met problems such as large noise interference, difficulty in accurately calibrating the start and end points of the action interval, and imbalanced samples for feature recognition, et al. To challenge these problems, we proposed a small group-based noise removal method, a dynamic dual-threshold automatic method for identifying the start and end points of the motion interval, and a sampling method to balance group samples, respectively. Portable device and a medical EMG acquisition equipment Thought Technology FlexComp Infiniti 10 were used to perform EMG measurements on 15 patients with non-specific low back pain and 15 normal people. Clinical experiments and statistical analysis show that the portable EMG acquisition system has significant differences in EMG signal characteristics between normal people and non-specific low back pain patients, and it has good measurement consistency and accuracy with the medical EMG acquisition equipment.

Ischemic stroke is a major cause of permanent disability and death in adults, and electroacupuncture (EA) intervention has a positive role in improving neurological function in patients with ischemic stroke through a series of complex processes. In the present paper, we make a review about the development of researches on the involvement of micro-ribonucleic acid (miRNA) in ischemic stroke from excitatory amino acid toxicity, oxidative stress, inflammatory response, apoptosis and necrosis, and particularly sum up outcomes of researches about the roles of miRNAs in EA-induced improvement of neurological function in experimental cerebral ischemia animals. EA treatment can 1) balance levels of miRNAs (such as mir-126 and mir-328, etc.) to promote angiogenesis of ischemic cerebral cortex tissue by regulating expression of vascular endothelial growth factor family genes and proteins; 2) promote nerve regeneration by up-regulating serum miR-124 and hippocampal miR-132 expression to possibly facilitate cerebral repair and reduce cognitive dysfunction respectively via related proteins; 3) reduce cerebral edema via modulating expression of some miRNAs to control expression of aquaporin, matrix metalloproteinases, etc. and 4) suppress inflammatory response via up-regulating expression of miRNAs to inhibit expression of NF-κB, TNF-α, etc. in the local cerebral tissue. As a result, the neurological function is bettered after EA intervention.

Articular cartilage lesions due to injury or other pathology are often difficult to heal, and the outcomes of the clinical treatment widely used today are far from satisfaction. Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) are multipotent stem cells from adipose tissue. Tissue engineering based on the ability of ADSCs to differentiate into chondrocytes provides a new idea for the repair and regeneration of articular cartilage defects. The method for inducing the differentiation of ADSCs into chondrocytes in vitro who have been quite well established, which mainly include the use of growth factors and scaffolds to mimic the in vivo microenvironment, thereby promoting the differentiation of ADSCs into chondrocytes.

Objective: To investigate the differences of metabolic pathways of leucocyte-deplated RBCs prepared by using lipid whole blood and nomal blood during routine storage so as to provide some reference for clinical blood use., Methods: Twenty U whole blood from 20 donors, including 10 U lipid blood and 10 U normal whole blood, were selected for preparing leukodepleted red blood cells, red blood cells were taken from storage bags on day 0, 14 and 35, respectively. Metabolites in the red blood cells were analyzed, red blood cell metabolic extracts were detected by UPLC-MS/MS. The metabolite data of RBC from 2 groups were analyzed by SIMCA-P 13.0 software using OPLS-DA and by SPSS 19.0 using Mann-Whitney U test. Difference of metabolic pathways was described according to different metabolites., Results: The glucose, adenine, pyruvic acid, GSH, GSSG and niacinamide levels on day 0 in lipid RBCs were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The glucose, pyruvic acid and GSH levels on day 14 in lipid RBCs were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the levels of adenine, GSSG and niacinamide were higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The glucose level on day 0 was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the levels of adenine and niacinamide were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). but the pyruvic acid, GSH and GSSG levels were not significantly different between 2 groups (P>0.05)., Conclusion: Compared with the normal red blood cells, the energy metabolism pathway decreases in lipid red blood cells within the storage period and pentose phosphate pathway increases.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the national defense, industry, technology and other fields, whether it is for the power transmission systems or for the steel smelting and new high-tech industry, temperature measurement has been of important significance. Especially in the high temperature and accompanied by the demand for transient (less than lus)temperature measurement occasion, multi spectral radiation temperature measurement method has been widely used. Multi spectral thermometry is selected by the measured target multiple wavelengths radiation information, the mathematical model of emissivity and wavelength is supposed, finally the radiation temperature is obtained. At present, when the method is used to measure the temperature, the spectral emissivity is fixed with the assumption of the mathematical model, and the fixed model is unable to adapt to the target under different temperature conditions. Similarly, at different temperatures, how to calculate the final emissivity and radiation temperature has been no universal method. Based on the Planck’s law of black body radiation, this paper proposes a new idea that is based on the form invariance of the spectral emissivity function under different temperatures. According to the method, the emissivity model adapte to the dynamic change of the object according to the object under different temperature conditions. At the same time, it also puts forward a general method to calculate the final emissivity and radiation temperature. Through a lot of simulations and experiments, it is proved that the method proposed in this paper is more simple and practical than the existing spectral emissivity solution, which can effectively improve the accuracy of the calculation of spectral emissivity，so as to improve the accuracy of the radiation temperature measurement. At the same time, the method proposed in this paper has the characteristics of good practicability and wide application.

A total of 87 daily PM 2.5 samples were collected in the urban area of Suzhou city during 2015, representing spring, summer, autumn, winter, respectively. Mass concentration of PM 2.5 was analyzed gravimetrically. Water-soluble inorganic ions, including F - , Cl - , NO 3 - , SO 4 2- , Na + , NH 4 + , K + , Mg 2+ and Ca 2+ , were determined by ion chromatography. The average mass concentration of PM 2.5 was (74.26±38.01) μg·m -3 . The seasonal variations of PM 2.5 concentrations decreased in the order of winter > spring > autumn > summer. The average total mass concentrations of 9 ions was (43.95±23.60) μg·m -3 , and the order of concentration of ions was NO 3 - > SO 4 2- > NH 4 + > Na + > Cl - > K + > Ca 2+ > F - > Mg 2+ . Seasonal variation of ion concentrations was significant, with the highest concentration observed in winter and the lowest in summer. The secondary inorganic species, including SO 4 2- , NO 3 - and NH 4 + (SNA) were the major components of the water-soluble ions in PM 2.5 . SNA's correlations with each other were significant. SO 4 2- , NO 3 - and NH 4 + were probably in the form of NH 4 NO 3 and (NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 . The [NO 3 - ]/[SO 4 2- ] ratio approaching to 1 implied that mobile sources were as important as stationary sources. Ion balance calculations indicated strong correlations between anion and cation equivalents. The PM 2.5 was acidic. Industrial emission, combustion process, secondary formation and fugitive dust were the major sources of the water-soluble ions in PM 2.5. .

Objectives: To determine the correlation between gene polymorphisms in Wnt signal pathway and susceptibility of Chinese Tibetan people to tuberculosis., Methods: A total of 488 active tuberculosis patients and 454 healthy subjects(control) were enrolled in this case-control study.Five single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in Wnt signal pathway (rs4135385 in CTNNB1 gene,rs11001553 in DKK1 gene,rs56900803 in WIF1 gene,rs7832767 in SFRP1 gene and rs11079571 in AXIN2 gene) were genotyped using MassARRAY method.The genotype and allele distributions of these loci were determined using SPSS19.0 and SNP stats software.Significant SNPs were measured in the co-dominant,dominant and recessive genetic models.The polymorphism distributions of Chinese Tibetans were compared with those of Chinese Han populations., Results: The genotype distributions of all SNPs coincided with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in the 2 groups.The frequencies of genotype and allele of rs7832767 in SFRP1 gene were significantly different ( P =0.004,0.002,respectively) between the Tibetan patients with tuberculosis and the Tibetan healthy controls.Compared with C allele carriers,those carrying T allele of rs7832767 showed increased risk of tuberculosis [odds ratio ( OR )=1.260,95% confidence interval ( CI ):1.086-1.471, P =0.002].The co-dominant,dominant and recessive models of this locus were also associated with higher risk of tuberculosis.No significant differences in genotype and allele distributions were observed for the other four SNP loci ( P all>0.05).The distribution of rs4135385 in CTNNB1 gene in the Chinese Tibetan population differed from the Han population ( P =0.035 for genotype,0.021 for allele).There were no obvious differences in genotype and allele distributions for the other four SNPs between the Tibetan and Han populations ( P all >0.05)., Conclusions: SFRP1 gene polymorphism in Wnt signal pathway is associated with tuberculosis susceptibility in Chinese Tibetan population.The distribution of CTNNB1 gene polymorphism differs between Chinese Tibetan and Han populations.

Objective: To investigate the development of nocturnal sleep pattern in infants., Methods: Fifty healthy full-term newborns born in Chongqing Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital were chosen for a prospective longitudinal study. A non-invasive sleep monitor, Actiwatch, was used to monitor infants' 12 sleep parameters on the 10th day, 28th day, the first Tuesday at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th and 12th month after birth, each monitoring time lasting 60 hours. All sleep parameters were analyzed by two-level mixed effect model., Results: Twenty-two boys and 25 girls completed the whole follow-up study. From birth to the 12th month after birth, the nocturnal sleep onset latency (NSOL) decreased by about 48% at 3 months of age and by 83% at 6 months of age. The nocturnal sleep efficiency (NSE%) increased from 66% to 87%, the nocturnal total sleep time (NTST) increased from 416 minutes to 517 minutes, and the longest nocturnal continuous sleeping time (L-NCST) increased from 197 minutes to 327 minutes. NSE%, NTST and L-NCST increased with age (P<0.01). The 3rd to 12th month ratios of NSE%, NTST and L-NCST were 86%, 84% and 72%, respectively, and the 6th to 12th month ratios of those were 97%, 91% and 94%, respectively. The nocturnal total wake time (NTWT) and longest nocturnal continuous waking times (L-NCWT) decreased with age (P<0.01). The decline speeds in the first half year were 5-6 times of those in the second half year after birth (P<0.05). NTST, nocturnal continuous sleeping ability and NSE% in boys were lower than those in girls (P<0.05)., Conclusions: Infantile nocturnal sleep patterns develop rapidly during the first 6 months, especially within the first 3 months after birth. Partial infantile sleep parameters are related to gender.

Objective: To investigate the effect of NF-κB inhibitor BAY11-7082 on proliferation and apoptosis of breast carcinoma MCF-7 cells and the underlying mechanism., Methods: MCF-7 cells in the logarithmic growth phase were divided into control group, 5 μmol/L BAY11-7082 group and 10 μmol/L LY294002 group. After the treatment of BAY11-7082 and LY294002, the protein levels of ATP citrate lyase (ACL), phosphated-ACL (p-ACL), phosphated-Akt (p-Akt) and phosphated nuclear factor κB (p-NF-κB) were determined by Western blotting. The proliferation of MCF-7 cells treated with BAY11-7082 or siACL were detected by CCK-8 assay. The apoptosis of MCF-7 cells treated with BAY11-7082 or siACL were observed by flow cytometry combined with annexin V-FITC/PI staining., Results: The proliferation of MCF-7 cells was inhibited by BAY11-7082 in a dose-dependent manner. Compared with the control group, the expressions of p-ACL and p-NF-κB protein in MCF-7 cells treated with BAY11-7082 were lowered. The expressions of p-ACL and p-NF-κB protein in MCF-7 cells treated with 10 μmol/L LY294002 were also reduced significantly. The proliferation of MCF-7 cells treated with BAY11-7082 or siACL for 48 hours was inhibited and the apoptosis was promoted significantly, as shown by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry., Conclusion: BAY11-7082 could inhibit the proliferation of MCF-7 breast carcinoma cells and promote the apoptosis by inhibiting the phosphorylation of ACL.

Objective: To observe the impact of recombinant human endostatin (rhES) combined with hypoxia on the autophagy and apoptosis of human cervical cancer HeLa cells., Methods: Under hypoxia, HeLa cells in logarithmic growth phase were treated with PBS, rhES, rhES combined with 3-methyladenine (3-MA, inhibitor of autophagy), respectively. Twenty-four hours later, cell apoptosis rate was detected using Hochest33528 staining and annexin V-FITC/PI staining and flow cytometry; the expressions of microtubule-associated protein light chain 3 (LC-3), Bcl-2, Bax proteins were determined using Western blotting., Results: Hochest33528 staining suggested that cells of the hypoxia plus rhES group showed nuclear fragmentation; Annexin V-FITC/PI staining combined with flow cytometry revealed that the apoptosis rates were respectively (2.94±0.45)%, (21.38±0.92)% and (6.87±0.58)% in the three groups. It was significantly higher in the hypoxia plus rhES group than the other two groups. Western blotting showed that the expression levels of LC3 (LC-3II) and Bax increased and Bcl-2 decreased in the hypoxia plus rhES group as compared with the other two groups., Conclusion: Endostatin combined hypoxia can induce autophagy and apoptosis of HeLa cells.

Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents in the roots of Angelica nitida., Methods: The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel,their structures were identified by spectral analysis., Results: Nine compounds were isolated and identified as isoimperatorin(I), imperatorin(II), cnidilin(III), beta-sitosterol(IV), isopimpinellin(V), phellopterin(VI), neobyakangelicol(VII), (3S)-2,2-dimethyl-3,5-dihydroxy-8-hydroxylmethyl-3,4-dihydro-2H,6H-benzo[1,2-b: 5,4-b'] dipyran-6-one(VIll) and byakangelicin (IX)., Conclusion: All the compounds are isolated from the plant for the first time.

Objective: To study the effects of high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) combined with incremental positive end-expiratory pressure (IP) on respiratory and circulatory functions, and lung histopathology of dogs with smoke inhalation injury., Methods: After being treated with conventional mechanical ventilation, 12 dogs were inflicted with severe smoke inhalation injury and divided into group HFOV and group HFOV+IP according to the random number table, with 6 dogs in each group. Then they received corresponding ventilation for 8 hours respectively. Blood gas analysis results (pH value, PaO2 and PaCO2 levels) and hemodynamic parameters [heart rate, mean arterial pressure (MAP), pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP), central venous pressure (CVP), cardiac output (CO)] were recorded before injury, immediately after injury, and at post ventilation hour (PVH) 2, 4, 6, and 8. The dogs of two groups were sacrificed at PVH 8. A healthy dog without any treatment and a dog with smoke inhalation injury but no subsequent treatment were sacrificed in addition. Lung tissues of all dogs were obtained for histopathological observation. Lung injury score examination was conducted in both groups. Data were processed with rank sum test, analysis of variance of repeated measurement, and LSD- t test., Results: (1) The PaO2 levels in both groups were significantly decreased immediately after injury, compared with those before injury (with t values respectively 4.960, 5.310, P values all below 0.01). The PaO2 levels in both groups from PVH 2 to PVH 8 were significantly increased, compared with those observed immediately after injury (with t values from 4.930 to 6.050, P values all below 0.01). At PVH 2, 4, and 8, PaO2 levels in group HFOV+IP were significantly higher than those in group HFOV (with t values from 3.775 to 5.774, P values all below 0.01); no statistically significant differences were observed in pH value and PaCO2 level at each time point between two groups (with t values from 0.002 to 0.997, P values all above 0.05). (2) There were no statistically significant differences in MAP, PAP, and CVP within two groups at each time point (with F values from 1.316 to 4.959, P values all above 0.05). In group HFOV, heart rate from PVH 2 to PVH 8 was significantly lower than that observed immediately after injury (with t values from 3.780 to 8.970, P values all below 0.01). In group HFOV+IP, CO at PVH 4, 6, and 8 was significantly lower than that observed immediately after injury (with t values from 3.990 to 11.200, P values all below 0.01). There were no statistically significant differences in MAP, PAP, and CVP between two groups at the same time point (with t values from 0.089 to 2.123, P values all above 0.05). At PVH 4, 6, and 8, heart rate in group HFOV+IP was higher than that in group HFOV (with t values from 2.931 to 7.229, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), while CO was lower (with t values from 4.297 to 11.206, P values all below 0.01). (3) Compared with those of the healthy dog, inflammatory cell infiltration and bleeding in the lung were observed in alveolar space in both group HFOV and group HFOV+IP, while the degree was less serious than that of the dog with smoke inhalation injury only. Compared with those of group HFOV, inflammatory cell infiltration in group HFOV+IP was less significant, the alveolar structure was relatively intact, and no thickening of alveolar walls was observed. The lung injury score in group HFOV [(3.27 ± 0.24) points] was higher than that of group HFOV+IP [(2.79 ± 0.31) points, t = 27, P < 0.05]., Conclusions: HFOV combined with IP can improve gas exchange and alleviate pulmonary injury without any adverse effect on blood gas analysis or hemodynamic parameters. Therefore, it may be considered as an appropriate mode of ventilation for the treatment of smoke inhalation injury.

Objective: To explore the impact of intermittent hypoxia on long-term facilitation (LTF) of hypoglossal nerve discharge., Methods: Twelve adult SD rats were divided into the experimental group (CIH group, n = 6) and the control group (normoxia group, n = 6) by the random number table. The rats in the CIH group were fed in the intermittent hypoxia animal chambers, while the control group was placed in the normoxia animal chambers for 8 h per day (from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for 4 consecutive weeks. After that, 5 min×3 stimulations of acute intermittent hypoxia (AIH) were administered and the hypoglossal never signals were recorded before and after AIH., Results: The baseline frequency and average peak amplitude of hypoglossal nerve discharge in the CIH experimental group were significantly greater than those in the control group. The discharge frequency in the CIH and the control groups was (73 ± 13) Hz, and (58 ± 11) Hz, respectively(P < 0.05); and the discharge amplitude in the 2 groups was (4.6 ± 1.1) µV, and (3.3 ± 0.7) µV, respectively(P < 0.05). After intervention with AIH, the frequency and the average peak amplitude of the hypoglossal nerve discharge in the experimental and the control groups were significantly increased(all P < 0.05). The increased discharge lasted more than 1 h and this typical phenomenon was referred to as LTF. In the CIH group, the discharge frequency before and after exposure to AIH was (68 ± 16) Hz and (133 ± 20) Hz, respectively; and the discharge amplitude was (4.6 ± 1.1) µV and (8.9 ± 1.4) µV, respectively. In the control group, the discharge frequency before and after AIH was (59 ± 12) Hz and (102 ± 16) Hz, respectively; and the discharge amplitude was (3.3 ± 0.7) µV and (4.5 ± 0.7) µV, respectively(P < 0.05). After AIH stimulation, the enhanced respiratory intensity of rats in CIH group was much higher than that in the control group [(408 ± 149)% vs (242 ± 31)%, P < 0.05]., Conclusion: Both AIH and CIH can induce LTF of the hypoglossal nerve discharge, while the induction of LTF by AIH can be strengthened by CIH.

Objective: To investigate how to establish good eating behavior and correct bad eating habits in infants by means of the child health care outpatient clinic and to promote the growth and development of infants., Methods: Infants aged 0-3 months, who were randomly selected from the urban area of Chongqing, were divided into intervention and control groups. The infants in the intervention group received all intervention measures in the study, while those in the control group received conventional health care. Both groups were subjected to regular monitoring of eating behavior indices including time of introduction of foods, frequency of adding complementary foods and intake frequency of unhealthy foods to analyze the effect of intervention., Results: In the intervention group, foods were introduced at a reasonable time (P<0.01). Compared with those in the control group, the children aged 9 and 12 months in the intervention group had a significantly higher intake frequency of meat, vegetables and fruits (P<0.01) and a significantly lower intake frequency of sweet drinks (P<0.05), children aged 18 and 24 months in the intervention group had a significantly lower intake frequency of sweet drinks (P<0.01), and the children aged 24 months in the intervention group had a significantly lower intake frequency of ice cream (P<0.01)., Conclusions: Eating behavior intervention can promote the proper introduction of foods and regular addition of supplementary foods, as well as decrease the intake frequency of unhealthy foods such as sweet drinks and ice cream, thus improving the eating behavior of infants.

Objective: To study the micromeritic properties of different particle size of Scutellaria baicalensis and provide a basis for being directly used or as raw material of Chinese herba preparation., Methods: Size distribution, surface area and pore volume, contact angle, angle of repose and bulk density, moisture absorption, micromorphology, Infrared spectrum, HPLC fingerprint were used to evaluate the differences of micromeritic properties of 4 kinds of Scutellaria baicalensis superfine grinding., Results: With the particle size of powders decreased, size distribution and bulk density decreased, the surface area and pore volume, contact angle and moisture absorption increased, angle of repose first increased and then decreased. Infrared spectrum and HPLC fingerprint showed no change of chemical composition of Scutellaria baicalensis., Conclusion: Different particle size of Scutellaria baicalensis leads to the differences of micromeritic properties. Superfine grinding III is determined as a better particle size.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of overweight and obesity among infants in Chongqing urban area, and to provide a basis for early intervention in cases of childhood obesity., Methods: A total of 2139 infants aged one month were selected by stratified cluster sampling. They underwent growth monitoring and evaluation at 3, 6, 9, 12 and 18 months after birth. Meanwhile, related factors were investigated using a standardized questionnaire. The data was subjected to multiple logistic regression analysis to determine the risk factors for overweight and obesity among infants aged 18 months., Results: The detection rate of overweight and obesity increased rapidly after birth, reaching 26.04% at six months, and then decreased gradually, reaching 15.89% at 18 months. Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed nine variable factors that were significantly correlated with overweight and obesity among infants aged 18 months, including nutritional status of the father, nutritional status of the infants at birth and at 6, 9 and 12 months after birth, feeding patterns at 3 months, frequency of vegetable intake at 12 months, frequency of sweet beverage addition at 18 months, and bedtime at 18 months., Conclusions: Overweight and obesity are prevalent among infants in Chongqing urban area, and these conditions are affected by multiple factors. Early comprehensive intervention is recommended to curb prevalence.

Background: Total knee replacement surgery is commonly used in end-stage diseases of the knee. It is important for improving surgical efficacy and patient satisfaction by promoting early rehabilitation of patients and improving knee function., Objective: To observe the effects of early application of Tuina treatment on quadriceps surface electromyography (EMG) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis having undergone total knee arthroplasty., Design, Setting, Participants and Intervention: The study was performed at the Orthopedic Department of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, and the Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from June 2010 to September 2011. A total of 66 patients with rheumatoid arthritis who had undergone total knee replacement surgery were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 33 cases in each. The patients in the control group were administered with continuous passive training (CPM), and the patients in the observation group were treated with CPM combined with Tuina, from prior surgery to four weeks post-surgery., Main Outcome Measures: The knee function was evaluated using the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) questionnaire at baseline and 4 weeks after the surgery. Quadriceps surface EMG was also detected at the same time points., Results: After 4 weeks of Tuina and comprehensive rehabilitation intervention, the WOMAC questionnaire score of the observation group was decreased compared with the control group (P<0.01); median frequency and integrated electromyography of the rectus femoris and vastus medialis muscles, which were recorded by EMG, in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.01)., Conclusion: Tuina can improve the recovery of patients who have undergone total knee replacement by increasing quadriceps EMG.

Objective: To investigate the expressions of thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1), the type II alveolar epithelial cells (AECII)-specific marker, and vimentin, the fibroblast-specific marker, in the lungs of neonatal mice with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and explore the pathogenesis of BPD., Methods: Neonatal mice were exposed to hyperoxia to induce BPD, and pathological changes in the lung tissues were examined. At 3, 7, 14 and 21 days after the exposure, the protein and mRNA expressions of TTF-1 and vimentin were detected by double-labeled immunofluorescence assay and real-time PCR, respectively., Results: Compared with the neonatal mice exposed in normal air, those with hyperoxic exposure showed developmental disorders and collagen deposition in the lung tissues. The protein expression of TTF-1 decreased while vimentin expression increased in the lung tissues, where their co-expression was observed at 14 and 21 days after the exposure. TTF-1 mRNA expression decreased markedly (P<0.05) and vimentin mRNA increased significantly in the lung tissues at 21 days after hyperoxic exposure of the mice (P<0.05)., Conclusion: Hyperoxia-induced transition of AECII to fibroblasts may play an important role in pulmonary fibrosis in neonatal mice with BPD.

Objective: To investigate the role of oxotremorine in arginine vasopressin (AVP)-induced hypothermia and its effects on the behavioral thermoregulatory response., Methods: Core temperature (Tc), brown adipose tissue (BAT) temperature and motor activities were monitored in undisturbed female SD rats using radiotelemetry. The behavioral thermoregulatory response was monitored in rats using radiotelemetric temperature gradient apparatus. Effect of AVP (10 microg/kg) and oxotremorine (0.25 mg/kg) on Tc, motor activities, BAT temperature (T(BAT)), grooming activities and the behavioral thermoregulatory response were observed in rats., Results: Administration of AVP and oxotremorine caused a significant drop in Tc, T(BAT), and an increases in grooming activities, respectively. The hypothermic responses were accompanied with a preference for cooler ambient temperature. Oxotremorine augmented the reduction of Tc, T(BAT), and the elevation of grooming activities resulting from AVP, and lasting a longer time. Administration of oxotremorine followed immediately by AVP injection in rats was also shown to induce a preference for cooler ambient temperature, but there was no significant difference compared with AVP., Conclusion: AVP-induced hypothermia was related with the set point temperature reduction, inhibiton of BAT thermogenesis and an increases in grooming activities. Oxotremorine could participate in peripheral AVP-induced hypothermia by affecting BAT thermogenesis and behavioral thermoregulation.

Objective: To measure simultaneously the time course for the circadian rhythm of brown adipose tissue(BAT) thermogenesis and core temperature, and analyzing their temporal relationship., Methods: The circadian rhythm of core temperature (Tc), BAT temperature (T(BAT)), axillary temperature (Tax) and motor activity were simultaneously measured by telemetry in adult male Sprague-Dawley rats at an ambient temperature of 22 degrees C during a 12-h light:12-h dark photoperiod (lights on at 06:00 h and lights off at 18:00 h)., Results: (1) T(BAT) was 0.67 degrees C lower than Tc group under the light phase, but it was similar to that Tc during the dark phase. The rate of increase in T(BAT) was higher than corresponding increases in Tc at the start of transition from the light to dark phase, and increase in T(BAT) commenced approximately 8 min before Tc increases. Whereas at the start of transition from the dark to light phase, decrease in T(BAT) commenced approximately 4 min before Tc decreases. (2) The amplitude of the circadian Tax rhythm was similar to that of Tc. During either the light phase or dark phase, Tax was lower than simultaneous measurement of Tc. (3) Increases in behavioral activity commenced before increases in T(BAT) and Tc at the start of transition from the light to dark phase., Conclusion: BAT thermogenesis contributes to increase in core temperature during the dark phase, indicating that circadian changes of BAT thermogenesis does indeed play significant role in the overall maintenance of the circadian rhythm of core temperature.

In order to test the distribution of active constituent of traditional Chinese medicine and to evaluate the quality of medicinal part effectively, spectral imaging analysis technology was used, and rhizoma coptidis pieces were tested as an example. First, the fluorescence spectral cube was taken, and the spectral curve of 3 different medicinal parts of the piece was obtained; second, spectral images were reconstructed by principal components analysis method, and the differences of 3 medicinal parts on the first few principal components were focused; third, the first component image was divided by the threshold method, then the distribution and relative content of 3 medicinal parts were obtained. The results show that spectral imaging analysis technology can provide the distribution of the active constituent, which can be used as the criterion of selecting medicinal parts. The testing course is nondestructive and rapid.

Objective: To observe the homing and differentiation of marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) transplanted intravenously in smoke inhalation injured rabbits., Methods: Thirty-two New Zealand big ear rabbits were divided into normal control group (NC), inhalation injury group (II), normal control + MSC treatment group (NM), and MSC treatment group (MT) according to the random number table, with 8 rabbits in each group. Rabbits in NC group were injected with 10 mL phosphate buffered saline (PBS) via ear marginal vein. Rabbits in NM group were injected with 10 mL PBS containing the third generation MSC labeled by BrdU (1 × 10(7) per 10 mL PBS) via ear marginal vein. Severe smoke inhalation injury model was reproduced in the other two groups, among them rabbits in II group were treated as rabbits in NC group, rabbits in MT group treated as rabbits in NM group. On the 7th and 28th day post treatment (PTD), lung tissue and trachea tissue were harvested from four groups for observation on injury with HE staining. Homing of MSC in injured tissue was observed with immunohistochemistry staining. The differentiation of MSC into functional cells was observed with immunohistochemical double staining of combining nuclear marker BrdU with lung (trachea) membrane-specific marker aquaporin-5 (AQP-5), alkaline phosphatase (AKP), CD34, and cytokeratin respectively., Results: (1) MSC homing in lung and trachea tissue was observed in MT group on PTD 7, which was not observed in NM group. (2) AQP-5, AKP, and CD34 positive MSC were observed in lung tissue in MT group on PTD 28, while cytokeratin positive MSC was not observed in trachea tissue. No positively marked MSC was observed in NM group. (3) Injury in lung and trachea was less severe in MT group than in II group; and the proliferation of fibroblasts was less in MT group., Conclusions: Intravenous injection of MSC to rabbits with smoke inhalation injury can migrate to lung and trachea tissue at obviously inflammatory site, and differentiate into alveolar epithelial cells typeI and II, and pulmonary vascular endothelial cells, which may participate in the process of tissue repair in smoke inhalation injury.

Objective: To study the effect of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) transplantation on the major inflammatory cytokines content in peripheral blood, lung water mass fraction, and lung tissue injury in rabbits with smoke inhalation injury., Methods: Sixteen adult New Zealand big ear rabbits were subjected to smoke inhalation injury and then were divided into pure injury group (PI, n = 8) and MSC transplantation group (MT, n = 8) according to the random number table. Via ear marginal vein, rabbits in PI group were injected with 10 mL phosphate buffered saline (PBS); rabbits in MT group were injected with 10 mL PBS containing the third passage MSC (1 x 10⁷ cell) isolated from marrow of healthy young New Zealand big ear rabbit. Another 8 rabbits were enrolled as normal control group (NC). Rabbits in NC group were injected with 10 mL PBS via ear marginal vein without smoke inhalation injury. Blood was harvested from rabbits in PI and MT groups at post injury hour (PIH) 2, 4, 6. Contents of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-10 in serum were determined with ELISA. At PIH 24, left lung was harvested for morphology and histopathology observation; the right lung tissue was obtained to measure and calculate lung water mass fraction. Blood and lung tissue of rabbits in NC group were harvested and determined in the same way. Data were processed with t test., Results: (1) Serum contents of TNF-α in PI and MT groups at each time point were obviously higher than that in NC group (t = 2.43 - 9.57, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Serum contents of IL-1β and IL-6 in PI group at each time point were obviously higher than those in NC group (t = 8.49 - 19.80, P values all below 0.01). Serum content of IL-1β in MT group at each time point was close to that in NC group (t = 0.11 - 0.92, P values all above 0.05). Serum content of IL-6 in MT group at PIH 2 was close to that in NC group (t = 2.12, P > 0.05), but that of MT group increased significantly at PIH 4 and 6 (t = 2.83, P values all below 0.05). Serum contents of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in MT group at each time point were obviously lower than those in PI group (t = 2.35 - 12.45, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). (2) Serum content of IL-10 in MT group at PIH 2, 4, and 6 was respectively (13.0 ± 3.6), (11.6 ± 8.5), (15.2 ± 4.4) pg/mL, and they were higher than those in PI group [(5.5 ± 3.4), (5.0 ± 1.7), (7.9 ± 3.5) pg/mL, with t value respectively 4.28, 2.15, 3.67, P values all below 0.01]. Serum contents of IL-10 in PI and MT groups were obviously higher than that in NC group (t = 2.46-8.14, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). (3) Lung tissue injury in MT group was alleviated markedly as compared with that in PI group. (4) At PIH 24, lung water mass fraction in MT group was (69 ± 7)%, which was obviously lower than that in PI group [(87 ± 6)%, t = 5.49, P < 0.01]. Compared with that in NC group [(48 ± 3)%], lung water mass fraction in PI and MT groups were increased obviously (with t value respectively 16.93 and 7.22, P values all below 0.01)., Conclusions: MSC transplantation can decrease pro-inflammatory cytokines, increase anti-inflammatory cytokines, decrease lung water mass fraction, ameliorate systemic inflammatory response, and protect lung tissue in rabbits with smoke inhalation injury.

Objective: To explore the significance of serum hepatitis B virus large protein( HBV-LP), HBV-DNA and markers of hepatitis B virus (HBV-M)in the diagnosis of viral replication., Methods: Serum HBV-DNA level was quantitatively detected using PCR Real-time polymerase chain reaction, HBV-LP was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and HBV markers expression were measured by chemiluminescence immunoassay method in 1886 cases of seurm., Results: The results of hepatitis virus large protein (HBV-LP) detection and the detection results of HBV-DNA was no significant difference (chi2 = 1.142, P > 0.05). HBV-DNA logarithm of copies and A vaule of HBV-LP was a positive correlation (r = 0.487, P < 0.01). HBV-DNA copies of different groups was significantly different from HBV-LP A values (F = 7.772, P < 0.01). The results of HBV-LP and HBV-DNA detected in different patterns of HBV-M were not significantly different. In 36 healthy people,the detecting results of HBV-DNA and HBV-LP are negative., Conclusion: There is a good correlation between the copies of HBV-DNA and the levels of HBV-LP. HBV-LP expression can reflect the replication of HBV.

Objective: To study the chemical constituents in roots of Angelica tianmuensis and A. megaphylla., Methods: Compounds were isolated by column chromatography with silica gel, their structures were identified by spectral analysis., Results: Another three compounds (ligustilone, 5-methoxyhamaudol, cimifugin) were obtained from the roots of Angelica tianmuensis, and another two compounds (ligustilone, angelol) were obtained from the roots of A. megaphylla., Conclusion: All the compounds are isolated in these two plants for the first time, and ligustilone is first found from Angelica L..

Objective: To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasound in evaluating the therapeutic effects on ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients., Methods: Color Doppler high-frequency ultrasound images and blood flow in 30 healthy volunteers and 50 AS patients, changes of high-frequency ultrasound images and blood flow of involved sites in AS patients pre- and after-Etanercept treatments, as well as erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) and the Bath AS disease activity indices pre- and post-treatment were compared., Results: Positive rates were significantly different between healthy volunteers and AS patients in terms of sacroiliac joints, Achilles tendon attachments, patellar ligament attachments, and rectus femoris tendon attachments by ultrasonograph (P < 0.05); and the fibular collateral ligament attachments positive rates had no significant difference with those at pre-treatment (P > 0.05). There was significant difference between patients with Bath AS disease activity index (BASDAI) ≥ 4 and those with BASDAI < 4 with respects to peripheral enthesis positive rate, Bath AS functional index (BASFI), patient's global assessment VAS (PGA), nocturnal back pain and general back pain VAS, morning stiffness duration, ESR and CRP (P < 0.05). Positive rates of sacroiliac joints, Achilles tendon attachments, patellar ligament attachments and rectus femoris tendon by ultrasonograph significantly decreased at Weeks 12 and 24 at post-treatment compared to that at pre-treatment (P < 0.05); there was significant difference for patient's BASDAI, BASFI, ESR and CRP at pre-treatment and weeks 12 and 24 post-treatment (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: Ultrasound can sensitively detect the pathological changes of joint synovium and entheses so that it may be used as a routine method of monitoring diseases in these soft tissues, following up AS patients and evaluating clinical efficacy.

Objective: To study the prevalence, treatment policy and control of hypertension in patients with maintenance hemodialysis, and to analyze the influencing factors of hypertension control., Methods: We studied the current status of 1382 patients with maintenance hemodialysis in 11 dialysis centers in Shanghai, among them 809 were male, and 573 were female. Hypertension was defined as systolic blood pressure (SBP)≥140 and/or diastolic blood pressure (DBP)≥90 mm Hg (1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa). Those who had a history of hypertension and requiring antihypertensive therapy were also diagnosed as hypertension though their blood pressure was within normal range during the survey. Hypertension control was defined as blood pressure<140/90 mm Hg before each dialysis session., Results: The prevalence of hypertension in the hemodialysis patients was 86.3%. The treatment rate and control rate in those patients were 96.8% and 25.5% respectively. More than half (50.4%) of patients were treated with only one kind of anti-hypertensive drug, and 34.4% with 2 kinds, 14.2% with 3 kinds, 1.0% with 4 kinds or more. Calcium channel blocker (CCB) was the most frequently prescribed drug (61.0%), followed by angiotensin II receptor blockers (56.4%), centrally acting anti-hypertensive agent (26.4%), beta blockers and alpha, beta-blockers (14.0%). The control rate of hypertension in those hemodialysis people was aggravated by the existence of coronary artery disease. The patients who need more kinds of antihypertensive agents have a poorer control rate of hypertension. The hypertension control rate elevated significantly with the adequate hemodialysis., Conclusions: There is a very high prevalence of hypertension in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Although the treatment rate is high, the control rate is unsatisfactory. So the control of hypertension in hemodialysis patient is still a clinical challenge. Appropriate dialysis adequacy, reasonable use of erythropoietin, treatment of heart disease and judicious use of antihypertensive drugs may be helpful to improve the clinical outcome.
