Heart failure is a cardiovascular disease that poses a serious health risk to the global population and is characterised by a chronic and prolonged disease course. Effective management centered on home care is essential for controlling symptoms and improving patient prognosis. Electronic health (e-health) technology is one of the hotspots in the research field of home management of heart failure, with the advantage of overcoming temporal and spatial barriers, and can achieve continuous monitoring, intelligent assessment, and dynamic management of the health status of patients at home. This paper systematically sorts out the related research on e-health in home management of patients with heart failure, and discusses its application value in drug management, exercise rehabilitation, symptom management, risk profile, and other aspects of patients with heart failure. It also analyzes and prospects the limitations of the e-health system such as poor digital inclusion, imperfect operation system, and risk of data security. The purpose of this study is to provide reference for the innovation of home management model for patients with heart failure.

Intelligent distributed protection and control is a promising route towards flexible and safe operation of the medium-voltage distribution network with widespread access to distributed energy resources. A fundamental premise of distributed decision-making is that each smart terminal unit (STU) can identify the topology of the feeder and track its changes. A distributed topology identification algorithm with high fault tolerance based on peer-to-peer communication is proposed in this paper. The STU configured at the looped network node requires no pre-set static topology of the feeder group, but only relies on local measurement and information exchange with neighboring STUs. Through rule judgment, it can realize the dynamic tracking and monitoring of the complete topology and open-loop mode of the feeder group, which reduces the configuration requirements of the algorithm on the terminal. Meanwhile, the method only needs each STU to exchange the local measurement and judgment information, which reduces the requirement of communication. Test examples show that the proposed method is reasonable and effective, and it can significantly improve the tolerance of topological identification to measurement errors by combining local measurement mutual checking and contralateral connectivity predictive correction.

With the increasing scale of electric vehicles (EVs), the adaptive management of its charging behavior becomes an urgent problem to be solved. From the point of view of charging service provider, an online management algorithm for EV charging is proposed based on the Lyapunov optimization theory under the random environment in this paper, considering renewable sources energy, storage equipment, time-varying electricity price, and the tolerable delay of EV, with an aim of maximizing the benefits of charging service providers (i.e., minimizing the cost of electricity purchased). The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed to verify that it can achieve near-optimal optimization results without any a priori statistical information about the system inputs (renewable energy generation, charging demand, and time-varying electricity price). The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the economic cost by 27.3% compared with the benchmark algorithm.

Due to the ship dynamic positioning control system is a complex nonlinear system, the conventional PID parameters are difficult to achieve the desired control effect, and the immune electromagnetism-like mechanism(IEM) algorithm is proposed for PID controller parameter self-tuning. In view of the weakness that the electromagnetism-like mechanism(EM) algorithm is easy to fall into the local optimum, the immune information processing mechanism is introduced, and the unique concentration selection mechanism is used to preserve the fine and the particles are close to the optimal position by the immune operator. The performance analysis shows that the IEM algorithm has better stability and better convergence in the self-tuning of PID parameters compared to EM and PSO algorithm. Finally, the position and bow of DP four stage sea condition model are simulated. The simulation results show that compared with the conventional PID controller, the PID controller solved by IEM method has faster response, better stability and smaller steady-state error.

Percutaneous pulmonary puncture guided by computed tomography (CT) is one of the most effective tools for obtaining lung tissue and diagnosing lung cancer. Path planning is an important procedure to avoid puncture complications and reduce patient pain and puncture mortality. In this work, a path planning method for lung puncture is proposed based on multi-level constraints. A digital model of the chest is firstly established using patient's CT image. A Fibonacci lattice sampling is secondly conducted on an ideal sphere centered on the tumor lesion in order to obtain a set of candidate paths. Finally, by considering clinical puncture guidelines, an optimal path can be obtained by a proposed multi-level constraint strategy, which is combined with oriented bounding box tree (OBBTree) algorithm and Pareto optimization algorithm. Results of simulation experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method, which has good performance for avoiding physical and physiological barriers. Hence, the method could be used as an aid for physicians to select the puncture path.

Objective: To observe the effect of livin gene suppression by genistein on apoptosis, cell cycle and proliferation of malignant melanoma LiBr cells., Methods: RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of livin mRNA in LiBr cells 48 h after treatment with 40 µmol/L genistein. Flow cytometry with annexin V-FITC/PI double staining was employed to detect cell apoptosis, and the caspase-3 protein expression in the cells following genistein treatment was assayed using Western blotting. The changes in the cell cycle and proliferation of the cells after genistein treatment were examined with flow cytometry with PI staining and MTT colorimetric assay, respectively., Results: Genistein can suppress the expression of Livin Gene (87.94% with 40 µmol/L genistein) and induce the apoptosis of LiBr effectively, both in the early and late phases (27.87∓5.38% and 11.87∓3.86% respectively). LiBr cells in phase G(0)/G(1) increases notably(G(0)/G(1)=72.11∓5.89%,S=14.53∓3.47%,G(2)/M=12.36∓2.64%). Genistein significantly reduced caspase-3 protein expression and inhibit cell proliferation., Conclusion: Genistein can suppress Livin Gene expression, induce LiBr cell apoptosis, hinder cell generation cycle, restrain cell proliferation.
