Folin-Ciocalteu method and sodium nitrite-aluminum chloride method were used to determine total phenolic content and flavonoid content of bound phenolics from the inflorescences, peduncles and leaves of Ottelia acuminata (O. acuminata), respectively. The composition of bound phenolics was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The antioxidant activity and protective effect against ROO· mediated DNA damage were also investigated. The results showed that total phenolic content of O. acuminata was in the range of 209.72~366.35 mg GAE/g Extract while total flavonoid content was in the range of 156.69~466.08 mg CAE/g Extract. Five phenolics, namely, caffeic acid, quercetin-3-O-glucoside, luteolin, chlorogenic acid and ferulic acid were identified in bound phenolics of O. acuminata. Trolox equivalent antioxidant activity (TEAC), 1,1-diphenyl-2-trinitrophenylhydrazine (DPPH) radical scavenging ability, iron ion reduction antioxidant ability (FRAP) and hydroxyl radical (·OH) scavenging rate IC50 value of different plant parts were in the range of 1.19~1.25 μmol TE/g Extract, 0.74~0.94 mmol/g Extract, 3.61~4.75 mmol Fe2+/g Extract, 0.34~1.26 mg/mL, respectively, among which the leaves displayed the strongest antioxidant activity. In the concentration range of 12.5~500 mg/mL, the percentage of double helix DNA in bound phenolics of inflorescences, peduncles and leaves ranged from 22.74% to 50.07%, 18.25% to 53.28% and 25.93% to 53.60%, respectively, among which the leaves showed the strongest DNA damage protective effect, followed by the peduncles. The results showed that O. acuminata was rich in bound phenolics which possessed strong antioxidant activity and DNA damage protective effect.

To investigate the effects of free phenolics from Lycopus lucidus Turcz. on apoptosis, cell cycle and inflammatory factors in CCl4 induced hepatocyte injury by using a in vitro experiment. Apoptosis and the distribution of cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. The contents of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-8 (IL-8) and the activation of Caspase-3 were measured by kits. The protein expression levels of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were also detected by immunohistochemistry. The results showed that compared with the model group, the free phenolics from Lycopus lucidus Turcz. could significantly reduce the apoptosis induced by CCl4 and affect the distribution of cell cycle. The article mainly introduces the main components and mechanisms of action of commonly used Chinese herbal medicines in aquaculture, as well as their applications in aquaculture. According to the characteristics of Chinese herbal medicines that can improve feed conversion rate, promote growth, improve aquatic product quality, enhance body resistance and improve water quality, the effects of different doses and types of Chinese herbal medicine additives on aquatic animals were explored, and the future research emphasis and development prospect of Chinese herbal medicines were prospected, which provided reference for the application of Chinese herbal medicines in aquaculture. Tassel size affects the nutrient allocation synthesized by photosynthesis in maize, which in turn affects ears development and the yield components, such as kernel rows, kernel number per row, seeding rate, and kernels weight per one hundred. In this study, haploids were induced using the F2:3 families, which were constructed from the elite inbred lines Zheng 58 and B73. Genotypes were obtained by 48K liquid phase hybridization capture probes technique, and phenotypes were evaluated in multi-environment trails. QTL mapping was performed using the inclusive composite interval mapping (ICIM) method. The RRBLUP model was used for genomic selection to explore the effects of training population size and the number of SNP markers on prediction accuracy. The results showed that the heritabilities of tassel length, tassel primary branch number, tassel secondary branch number, and tassel branch number were 0.82, 0.88, 0.84, and 0.88, respectively. Two QTL, located in bins 1.03 and 4.09, were detected for tassel length with phenotypic variation explained (PVE) of 6.02% and 11.10%, respectively. Two QTL, located in bins 1.05 and 4.05, were detected for tassel primary branch with PVE of 9.17% and 11.75%, respectively. Two QTL, located in bins 2.03 and 3.06, were detected for the tassel secondary branch with PVE of 5.51% and 5.65%, respectively. Two QTLs, located in bins 1.04 and 4.05, were detected for the tassel branch number with PVE of 9.37% and 10.83%, respectively. Tassel primary branch number and tassel branch number identified a same QTL located in bin 4.05 with multiple effects. The prediction accuracy of five-fold cross-validation for genomic selection was 0.36, 0.41, 0.28, and 0.37, respectively. Optical tweezers are a means to manipulate objects with light. Optical tweezers can obtain a nanometer space, piconewton force, and a millisecond resolution; thus, they are excellently suited for studying biological processes from the single-cell to the single-molecule level. Optical tweezers can screen and manipulate tumor cells, study single molecule, and monitor cancer treatments. Thus, optical tweezers will promote the progress of cancer research and treatments.

Ischemic stroke, a cerebrovascular disease with high incidence, high mortality, high disability rate and high recurrence rate, is an important cause of death and disability of middle-aged and elderly people in China, and imposes a huge burden to society and families. Therefore, it is essential to identify the risk factors associated with ischemic stroke and effectively prevent them. Studies have shown that obstructive sleep apnea is an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke. However, the exact pathological mechanism of their association has not been clarified. With the development of next-generation sequencing technology, more and more studies have focused on intestinal microbiota. They have found that obstructive sleep apnea can cause intestinal microbiota changes, and intestinal microbiota may be closely related to ischemic stroke. Therefore, this paper attempts to investigate the relationship between intestinal flora and ischemic stroke, so as to reveal the potential pathological mechanism of ischemic stroke caused by obstructive sleep apnea.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a respiratory disease characterized by inflammation due to neutrophil infiltration, has become the third leading cause of death worldwide. After the occurrence of COPD, the persistent accumulation of neutrophils can promote the excessive formation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), which plays an important role in local capture and clearance of pathogens, rapid control of infection, and immune regulation. This article mainly introduces the mechanism of COPD occurrence and NETs formation as well as the research progress of NETs in COPD, and summarizes the relevant drug targets for COPD treatment based on NETs, aiming to provide a reference for further research.

Osteopontin (OPN) is a secreted phosphosylated protein, which is widely found in various tissues and body fluids. OPN involved in various physiological and pathological processes such as bone growth, wound healing and cell adhesion and migration. The integrin αvβ3 is the main receptor for OPN. Recent studies have shown that the high expression level of OPN is closely related to the invasive phenotype and poor prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) . OPN is expected to become a potential serological biomarker and therapeutic drug target for the disease, which has gradually attracted the attention of researchers at home and abroad. Therefore, this paper presents the structural characteristics of OPN and its correlation with the occurrence, development and treatment prognosis of NSCLC.

Objective To investigate the expression of m6A methylatransferase ZC3H13 in tissues and peripheral blood of patients with gastric cancer and its application value in gastric cancer. Methods UALCAN and GEPIA databases were used to analyze the expression difference of ZC3H13 in gastric cancer and adjacent normal tissues at transcription level; GEPIA and Kaplan-Meier Plotter databases were used to analyze the correlation between ZC3H13 expression level and OS of gastric cancer patients.ELISA was used to determine the concentration of ZC3H13 in 80 newly-diagnosed gastric cancer patients and 50 healthy controls, and to analyze its relation with clinicopathological data; IHC method was used to detect the expression level of ZC3H13 in 74 cases of cancer tissues and 40 cases of unpaired paracancerous tissues, and to analyze its relation with clinicopathological data. Results The expression of ZC3H13 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent gastric tissues (P < 0.05).The positive rate of ZC3H13 protein in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues (74.3%vs.52.5%, P < 0.05).Serum ZC3H13 concentration in gastric cancer group was significantly higher than that in healthy control group (P < 0.05).The expression level of ZC3H13 in gastric cancer tissues and peripheral blood was related to gender, differentiation degree, clinical stage and infiltration depth of gastric cancer (P < 0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that ZC3H13 expression was not an independent risk factor for poor prognosis of gastric cancer patients (P > 0.05).The AUC was 0.826(P < 0.05), indicating good diagnostic value.The critical value of serum ZC3H13 protein concentration was 4.87 ng/ml, and the sensitivity and specificity of ZC3H13 in the diagnosis of gastric cancer were 98.8% and 50.0%. Conclusion ZC3H13 is highly-expressed in gastric cancer tissues, and the concentration of ZC3H13 protein in peripheral blood is also significantly increased.ZC3H13 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer, and has certain clinical diagnostic value for gastric cancer.

According to geographic origin and amylose content, 87 investigated japonica rice cultivars were divided into three types: Jiangsu common japonica rice, Northeast japonica rice and Jiangsu semi-waxy japonica rice. In order to explore the eating quality characteristics of the three types of japonica rice and their molecular basis, the physicochemical properties and the sequence of major genes Wx and OsSSIIa for starch synthesis were analyzed. Compared with Northeast japonica rice, Jiangsu common japonica rice had lower amylose content, higher protein content and gelatinization temperature, and similar gel consistency and RVA profiles. Compared with Northeast japonica rice and Jiangsu common japonica rice, Jiangsu semi-waxy japonica rice contained the lowest amylose content, the highest gel consistency and unique RVA profile. Variation coefficients of all characters except for setback value were small in three types of rice varieties, indicating that there was a great range of retrogradation within all the cultivars. The correlation coefficients among traits were different among three types of japonica rice, which indicated that the correlations were affected by the ecological conditions of different regions and properties of varieties. By cluster analysis, 87 japonica rice varieties (lines) were divided into four groups. Jiangsu common and Northeast japonica rice varieties (lines) were intersected in group I and group II. Group III was composed of two lines of Jiangsu common japonica rice and one semi-waxy variety (Xudao 9), and the most of their character values were ranged between those common japonica rice and semi-waxy japonica rice. The Jiangsu semi-waxy rice varieties (lines) with unique physicochemical characteristics were clustered into group IV. By sequence analysis, there was no difference in Wxb gene between Jiangsu common japonica rice and Northeast japonica rice, but in Jiangsu semi-waxy japonica rice G/A substitution occurred in Exon 4 of Wxb, which is the Wxmp allele. Bioactive peptides are short amino acid sequences, which can play different physiological roles when released from maternal proteins, including antioxidant, antihypertensive, antimicrobial and other biological activities. During the long -term fermentation of ham, many small molecule peptides are produced by the degradation of protein due to the action of endogenous enzymes and microorganisms. Many studies have shown that these peptides have biological activity. In this paper, the production mechanism, functional properties, preparation methods and separation and purification of bioactive peptides in ham were reviewed. Conventional clinical trials of antitumor drugs are conducted at clinical sites. In contrast, without clinical sites or site-less, digital clinical trials can be performed online. Virtual clinical trials analyze the therapeutic response of virtual patients to digital drugs using artificial intelligence and may reduce the costs of trials. Precision oncology trials based on biomarkers can invite more people to join clinical trials and guide the optimal choice of therapeutics for cancer patients. Oncology clinical trials will enter the era of digital, virtual and precision medicine.

The changes law of microbial flora during Sanchuan ham processing was studied, and the dominant bacteria was further identified by morphological and physiological and biochemical tests. The results showed that the curing period, dry period and ripening period were the stages of rapid increase, steady growth and reduction of total bacteria and Staphylococcus on the surface and inside of Sanchuan ham, respectively. The total Pseudomonas count on the inside of Sanchuan ham was higher than that on the surface during the whole processing, revealing a decreasing trend due to the competitive growth between microorganisms (except for the early curing period). The total Yeast count on the surface and inside of Sanchuan ham increased during the late curing period, but substantially decreased during ripening period. The identified dominant bacteria were Staphylococcus equorum and Staphylococcus simulans. In ham processing strengthening the control of time and temperature in the curing and dry period could help form precursor substance to further the unique flavor formation of ham in ripening period. Human nerves promote the initiation of a variety of solid tumor via regulating the stem cells, inducing angiogenesis, interacting immune system and modulating microbiota, and axonogenesis further drives the growth of early cancer. Nerves have emerged as an important component of the tumor microenvironment, and the control of nerves and neural signaling will be used as the novel treatment of human cancers. The article reviews the mechanisms of nerves promoting tumorigenesis.

Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) inhibitors have been approved in the combination with hormone-based therapy for advanced breast cancer. In addition to endocrine therapy, the combinations of CDK4/6 inhibitors with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors, phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitors, chemotherapy, immune therapy, molecular targeted agents and the other therapeutics could overcome its resistance and improve clinical benefits. CDK4/6 inhibitors-based combinational therapeutics provides a promising window for human cancer treatment.

The optogenetics approach uses a combination of genetic and optical methods to control the functions in specific cells of biological tissues. Since the control of neuronal activity by irradiating channelrhodopsin-2 with blue light was reported in 2005, the application of optogenetics in the field of oncology has been initiated. The antitumor mechanisms of optogenetics approach include controlling neuronal activity, antitumor immunity, altering intracellular ion levels, controlling cellular forces, modulating cellular signal transduction, regulating genetics and epigenetics, and discovering cancer drugs. Control of cancer using light will be light in cancer therapy.

A method was introduced for finding all proportional integral derivation (PID) controllers that satisfy a robust performance constraint for a given transfer function of magnetic bearing with time-delay by using the frequency response. The H-infinity index of additive weight uncertainty on the basis of robustness stability condition of closed loop system was first got by small gain theorem. Then, Based on the boundary crossing theorem, the parameter boundaries with the expected decay ratio index of PID controller were derived. The system can be stabilized and robustly meet the performance requirements by choosing PID controllers parameter in the stability region. The proposed method avoids the complexity of stability regions of PID parameters, and the closed-loop system has strong robustness for magnetic bearing with time-delay system. Objective To investigate the relationship of Maternal-fetal interface local cytokine CSF-1 and its receptors with the occurrence of the early spontaneous abortion. Methods From August 2009 to December 2011, we collected 30 villi tissue samples with artificial abortion and 30 villi tissue samples with spontaneous abortion. At the same time, we collected 30 villi tissue samples with artificial abortion and 30 decidua tissue samples with spontaneous abortion, and 30 decidua tissue samples with spontaneous abortion. The human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) was detected by radioimmunoassay in each group. The expressions of colony Stimulating Factor 1 (CSF-l) and colony Stimulating Factor 1 receptor ( CSF-1 R ) were detected by Immunohistochemical staining and Western Blot in the villi tissue and decidua tissue in every group. Results The levels of HCG in the spontaneous abortion group were lower than those in the artificial abortion group ( P < 0.05) . The protein expression of CSF-1 and CSF-1 R about the artificial abortion and spontaneous abortion in the the spontaneous abortion group were found. The protein expression levels of CSF-1 and CSF-1 R about the artificial abortion and spontaneous abortion in the the spontaneous abortion group were higher than the artificial abortion group by immunohistochemical staining and Western Blot (P<0.05) . Conclusions The right concentrations of CSF-1 and CSF-1R maintain the pregnancy continued. For the low-cost and non-polluting characteristics of hydrothermal process' novel zinc oxide nanoshuttles were prepared by zinc nitrate' hexamethylenetetramine and ammonia hydrothermal system. The formation of zinc oxide nanoshuttles was analyzed. Zinc oxide nanoshuttles were used to prepare indirectly heated gas sensors and tested for alcohol gas sensitivity by a Labview gas sensing data acquisition system. The operation temperature of this material was about 380 °C. Different gas tests showed that this material owned the highest sensitivity to ethanol than other gas at this temperature. The sensitivity for 5 x 10 ethanol was reached 40%. The sensitivity increased with the ethanol concentration increased. The article presents a study of the use of multiple reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay to analyze the five viruses including the peste des petits ruminants virus N protein gene (PPRV), Hendra virus H protein gene (HeV), and West Nile fever virus PrM protein gene (WNV). It performs a retrospective study of 101 frozen samples, which include 45 swine samples and 56 bat samples. It says that PCR gave positive results for positive control, but not for other samples.

Conclusions The suitable concentrations of GM-CSF and GM-CSFR in decidua tissue maintain the pregnancy continued. In order to overcome the obvious drawback of gas-kinetic BGK scheme with its weak computational efficiency, three main convergence acceleration techniques, including local time stepping, implicit LU-SGS method and multigrid, were adopted and tested. Based on simulation of viscous transonic steady flows over RAE2822 airfoil, their effectiveness was analyzed in detail. The following are the key results: 1. the speed-up to steady state is significant after acceleration techniques were employed; 2. as CFL number in- creased, needed steps for convergence is decreased; 3. multigrid is a very powerful tool and can be implemented for both explicit and implicit time-advancing methods. In this communication, the efficiency of 4-level V-cycle multigrid is the best one and its ratio of speed-up can reach 11 for explicit approach and nearly 9 for implicit scheme. Al thin films were deposited on flexible polyimide substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering method to make aluminum back electrode for Si-thin film solar cells. The effects of sputtering power and working pressure on the properties of Al electrodes were carried out. Atomic force microscope (AFM) was used to examine the surface morphology and roughness of the films. The electrical and optical properties of the films were characterized by four-probe meter and UV/VIS near-JR spectrophotometer, respectively. The results show that, with the increasing of the sputtering power, the root mean square surface roughness of Al thin films is improved greatly, and the higher the sputtering power is, the higher the diffuse reflectivity and conductivity of Al thin films are. The average diffuse reflectance of the film reaches to 70 9's. The films deposited at 0. 5 Pa perform lower resistivity and higher reflectivity. As concern to the electrical and optical properties of the films, the Al thin films prepared at 300-450 W and 0. 5 Pa have excellent comprehensive performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PURPOSE: To use the excised cervical lymph node tissue from oral verrucous carcinoma patient with focal squamous cell carcinoma subcutaneously to establish a xenografted model in nude mice. METHODS: The xenograft tumors were finally removed for histopathological study and the mice were laparotomized to examine metastatic tumors in livers, kidneys, lungs. RESULTS: The tumor formation rate was 87.5%(7/8),and the appearance of transplanted tumors was like that in human and HE staining showed that the cancer cells of those tumors models and mesenchymal components remained morphologically like the original tumor. The liver, renal, lung and lymph nodes didn't show obvious metastasis. CONCLUSION: The xenografted model is successfully established with a higher formation rate, and the model morphologically resembles the human tumor. In order to solve the surface modeling problem of complex objects in industrial design, this paper presented a low order tensor product spline surface reconstruction algorithm. First, it parametrized the arbitrary topological shape scattered data points three times differently to obtain the quadrilateral control mesh. Then, it used the bi-quadratic and bi-cubic tensor product B-spline to fit and used the distance function in the fitting process to control the fitting error. Finally, it got a smooth surface. This method could reconstruct the initial scattered points directly, it was simple and implement easily. Besides,the efficiency was high, the reconstructed B-spline surface satisfied the tangent plane continuity. Objective To evulate the therapeutic effect and safety of reteplase in treatment of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. Methods Ninety-five patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction who admitted in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2013 were divided into 2 groups: reteplase group (54 cases) and urokinase group (41 cases). Patients in reteplase group were intravenous injection of 18mg of reteplase for twice, and the interval was 30 minute, and patients in urokinase group were given intravenous injection of 1500, 000U urokinase in 30 minutes. The recanalization rate of coronary artery, the incidence of cardiovascular complications, reocclusion, hemorrhage and mortality were compared between two groups. Results There was statistically significant difference in the recanalization rate of coronary artery between two groups (P < 0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of cardiovascular complications, reocclusion, hemorrhage and mortality between two groups (P > 0.05). The dynamic model of boom-system on concrete-pump was built,and the optimization analysis was done to obtain the maximum pressure of the compressed rod and the posture of boom system at the exact situation. Two methods were adopted to analyse the rod’s static and dynamic performance,which avoids the defects of single analysis method. A compression experiment was done on the rod using the Self-balance loading test bed. The experimental result tells that bias placing the rod has some effect on the stability of the rod and the stress distribution on its plate.
