Objective To explore changes of brain structure in patients with functional movement disorder (FMD) and their correlation with disease severity. Methods Nine patients with FMD (FMD group) as well as 10 gender⁃ and age⁃matched healthy volunteers (control group) were recruited in Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, from May to October 2023, and then they underwent MRI. Simplified Functional Movement Disorder Rating Scale (S ⁃FMDRS) was used to assess movement disorder symptoms and severity. Clinical Global Impression ⁃ Severity (CGI ⁃ S) was used to evaluate disease severity. Somatoform Dissociation Questionnaire ⁃ 20 (SDQ ⁃20) was used to assess body dissociation. Chinese version of Maltreatment and Abuse Chronology of Exposure (MACE) was used to assess childhood abuse situation. 36⁃Item Short Form of Health Survey (SF⁃36) was used to assess health status. Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale 17 (HAMD⁃17) were used to evaluate anxiety and depression. Results Compared with the control group, the FMD group exhibited higher scores on SDQ⁃20 (Z = 2.259, P = 0.028) and Chinese version of MACE (t = ⁃ 3.570, P = 0.002) as well as HAMA (t = ⁃ 3.999, P = 0.001), while SF⁃36 scores for vitality (t = 3.091, P = 0.009) and social functioning (t = 2.275, P = 0.046) were lower in the FMD group. Cortical thickness was greater in the FMD group in the right inferior occipital gyrus and sulcus cortex (t = ⁃ 2.924, P = 0.009), right anterior cingulate gyrus and sulcus cortex (t = ⁃ 3.286, P = 0.004), right orbitofrontal cortex (t = ⁃ 2.381, P = 0.029), while thickness in the left subcallosal area (t = 2.492, P = 0.023) and left paracentral lobule gyrus and sulcus (t = 2.139, P = 0.047), as well as volume of the right cerebellar white matter (t = 2.685, P = 0.016), left cerebellar white matter (t = 2.121, P = 0.049), and the middle posterior region of the corpus callosum (t = 2.550, P = 0.021) were smaller than those of the control group. Correlation analysis revealed left cerebellar white matter were positively correlated with disease duration (r = 0.837, P = 0.038), while cortical thickness in the left subcallosal area were negatively correlated with disease duration (r = ⁃ 0.831, P = 0.040). Conclusions There are structural changes in the limbic system, sensorimotor area, visual cortex, and certain white matter regions in the brains of FMD patients, and several regions were correlated with the disease duration.

To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of 15 mycotoxins in grains by ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/MSMS). Samples were extracted by acidified acetonitrile solution， purified by impurity adsorption column prime HLB， and compensated for matrix effect interference by adding stable isotope internal standard. Phenomenon Kinetex Bipheny l100A column was used as separation column， gradient elution， UPLC-MS/MS for detection and internal standard method for quantification. The results showed that the linear correlation coefficient of 15 mycotoxins was greater than 0.996， the detection limit was 0.2-15 μg/kg， the quantitative limit was 0.8- 30 μg/kg， the recovery of three levels of three kinds of matrixes was 76.9%-116.1% and the RSD was 1.4%- 10%. The certified reference materials of corn matrix were The results from test and verification of corn matrix reference materials showed that the detection values of 8 mycotoxins were in the marked range. This method has been used to detect 135 batches of food sold in the market， 97 batches of samples were detected have mycotoxin with a detection rate of 71%， multi toxin simultaneous pollution was common. The method is simple， rapid and reliable， and can be used for the rapid and accurate detection of 15 mycotoxins in grains.

The experiment was to investigate the effect of adding bile acid to high-lipid diet on growth performance, muscle nutrition and fatty acid composition of gibel carp. A total of 450 healthy and initial body weight (32.37±0.13) g juvenile fish were randomly divided into five groups, with three replicates in each group and 30 fish in each replicate. Five kinds of iso-nitrogen and iso-lipid feed were prepared by adding 0 (BA0), 200 (BA200), 400 (BA400), 600 (BA600) and 800 mg/kg (BA800) bile acids to basic feed containing 12% soybean oil, respectively. The experiment lasted for 8 w. The results showed that compared with BA0, FBW of BA400 and BA600 gibel carp was significantly increased (P<0.05), WGR of BA600 was significantly increased (P<0.05), VSI was significantly decreased (P<0.05). The FCR of gibel carp in BA200, BA400 and BA600 was significantly decreased (P<0.05). HSI of all experimental groups was significantly decreased (P<0.05). CF of BA800 was significantly increased (P<0.05). Compared with BA0, muscle crude fat content of experimental groups was significantly decreased (P<0.05), and MUFA content was significantly increased (P<0.05). The crude protein content of gibel carp in BA400 and BA600 were significantly increased (P<0.05). The crude ash content of gibel carp in BA600 and BA800 were significantly decreased (P<0.05). The study indicates that adding 400~600 mg/kg bile acid to high-lipid diet can promote growth of gibel carp, increase the utilization rate of feed, promote fat digestion, absorption and decomposition for energy supply, improve muscle fatty acid composition. Multiaspect Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) can generate high resolution images and target scattering signatures in different azimuth angles from the coherent integration of all subaperture images. However, mixed anisotropic scatters limit the application of traditional imaging theory. Anisotropic scattering may introduce errors in polarimetric parameters by decreasing the reliability of terrain classification and detection of variability. Thus a method is proposed for estimating and removing anisotropic scattering in multiaspect polarimetric SAR images. The proposed algorithm is based on the maximum likelihood and likelihood-ratio tests for the two-class case, while considering the speckle effect, the mechanism of removing the anisotropic scattering, and the monotonicity of the Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) detection function. We compare the polarimetric entropy before and after removing the anisotropic subapertures, and then validate the algorithm's potential in retrieving the target signature using a P-band quad-pol airborne SAR with circular trajectory.

The single-transmitting-dual-receiving polarimetric SAR system has only two receving channels, which induces lack of prior information for calibration. Due to the polarization diversity of this kind of system (which operates on different dual and compact polarimetric modes), there has not a general algorithm currently. In this paper, a new general calibration algorithm is proposed for single-transmitting-dual-receiving polarimetric SAR system, which can be widely applied to diverse polarization modes. The transmitting and receiving distortion can be estimated using trihedral, 0° dihedral and 45° dihedral as ideal point targets without any assumption on the scene and system. The basic principle of this new algorithm is induced theoretically. The effect of calibrator error on the distortion estimation is analyzed by simulation. Point targets’calibration results and polarization signatures verify this algorithm.

Objective To study the clinical features and fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) gene mutations of children with achondroplasia (ACH) through an analysis of 17 cases. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data and FGFR3 gene detection results of 17 children with ACH who were diagnosed from January 2009 to October 2021. Results Of the 17 children with ACH, common clinical manifestations included disproportionate short stature (100%, 17/17), macrocephaly (100%, 17/17), trident hand (82%, 14/17), and genu varum (88%, 15/17). The common imaging findings were rhizomelic shortening of the long bones (100%, 17/17) and narrowing of the lumbar intervertebral space (88%, 15/17). Major complications included skeletal dysplasia (100%, 17/17), middle ear dysfunction (82%, 14/17), motor/language developmental delay (88%, 15/17), chronic pain (59%, 10/17), sleep apnea (53%, 9/17), obesity (41%, 7/17), foramen magnum stenosis (35%, 6/17), and hydrocephalus (24%, 4/17). All 17 children (100%) had FGFR3 mutations, among whom 13 had c. 1138G>A hotspot mutations of the FGFR3 gene, 2 had c. 1138G>C mutations of the FGFR3 gene, and 2 had unreported mutations, with c. 1252C>T mutations of the FGFR3 gene in one child and c.445+2_445+5delTAGG mutations of the FGFR3 gene in the other child. Conclusions This study identifies the unreported mutation sites of the FGFR3 gene, which extends the gene mutation spectrum of ACH. The experiment was to explore the effect of different fat sources in diet on growth of Ctenopharyngodon idella, Mylopharyngodon piceus and Carassius auratus gibelio, as well as conventional muscle nutrients and fatty acid composition. A total of 240 fish with an initial body weight of (34.8±0.4) g Ctenopharyngodon idella, (35.0±0.4) g Mylopharyngodon piceus, (26.3±0.1) g Carassius auratus gibelio were randomly divided into four groups with three replicates in each group and 60 fish in each replicate (three species mixed culture, 20 fish per species). The basic diet (BD group) without oil and fat was used as control group, and 6% soybean oil (SO group), fish oil (FO group) and lard (LO group) were added to basic diet as test groups. The experiment lasted for 8 w. The results showed that the average survival rate of the three species of fish in each group was significantly higher than that in BD group (P<0.05), and the survival rate of Mylopharyngodon piceus in test group was significantly higher than that in BD group (P<0.05). The total final weight and average weight gain of the three fish in each group were significantly higher than that in BD group (P<0.05). The feed coefficient of each group was significantly lower than that in BD group (P<0.05). The visceral body ratio and liver body ratio of Ctenopharyngodon idella in FO group were significantly higher than those in BD group (P<0.05), and the visceral body ratio and liver body ratio of Mylopharyngodon piceus in LO group were significantly higher than those in BD group (P<0.05). The visceral body ratio of Carassius auratus gibelio in BD group was significantly lower than that in other groups (P<0.05), and the liver to body ratio of Carassius auratus gibelio in FO group was significantly lower than that in other groups (P<0.05). The crude protein content of Ctenopharyngodon idella in FO group was significantly higher than that in BD group and SO group (P<0.05), and the crude protein content of Mylopharyngodon piceus in SO group was significantly lower than that in other groups (P<0.05). The crude fat content of Ctenopharyngodon idella in LO group was significantly higher than that in other groups (P<0.05), and the crude fat content of Mylopharyngodon piceus in SO group was significantly higher than that in other groups (P<0.05). The content of C16:0 was the highest in the three fish muscle fatty acids, followed by C18:1n-9, C18:0 and C18:2n-6. The content of C18: 2n-6, C18:3n-3 in SO group were significantly higher than other groups (P<0.05). The content of C20: 5n-3, C22:6n-3 in FO group were significantly higher than other groups (P<0.05). The content of C16:0, C18:1n-9 in LO group were significantly higher than those in other groups (P<0.05). The study indicates that adding fish oil to Ctenopharyngodon idella bait has a good growth-promoting effect, but adding 6% soybean oil and lard has no obvious growth-promoting effect, which indicates that Ctenopharyngodon idella has lower requirements for feed fat level. Adding 6% soybean oil, fish oil and lard to Mylopharyngodon piceus bait has better growth-promoting effect. The global stability of an isolation SIQ epidemic mode with non-linear incidence rate is studied, and the basic reproduction number R0 was obtained. Based on the Lasalle invariance principle, the global stability of the disease-free equilibrium was obtained. By means of point theorem and the distribution of equation root, the existence and uniqueness of endemic equilibrium was obtained, and the global stability of endemic equilibrium was proved by using theorem of extremal and Lyapunov function. Objectives It aims to understand the career choices of nursing students with different academic levels to rural areas and their influential factors in Yunnan Province. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate nursing students of 2 medical universities, 2 medical colleges and 2 medical secondary schools in Yunnan Province. Results Only 39.23% nursing students were willing to choose working in rural areas. Those who were unwilling to work in rural areas usually had high salary expectations,felt able to work in the city, had no experience of clinical practice, cared about hospital's size and working environment. The influencing factors included having a pessimistic employment attitude, lacking of understanding work in rural areas,and having a father poor educational background. Conclusion Nursing students who are willing to work in rural area are in the minority, and the influencing factors are various. It is necessary to strength students' employment guidance, help them understand the employment situation,develop correct outlook on life and employment, and supply early clinical practice to the students. This research aimed to clarify the effects of exogenously applied chitosan on the physiological characteristics, antioxidant activities, and Cd accumulation of wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) seedlings under cadmium (Cd) stress and to identify the key indicators based on the partial least squares model. The wheat variety studied was Bainong207 (BN207), and Cd-stress was achieved by growing seedlings in a hydroponic culture experiment with 10 and 25 μmol·L -1 Cd 2+ added to the culture solution. It was found that both Cd-stress at 10 and 25 μmol·L -1 significantly inhibited the chlorophyll content, photosynthesis, and biomass accumulation of wheat seedlings. Seedling roots became shorter and thicker, and the lateral roots decreased under Cd-stress. The Cd-stress also increased H 2 O 2 and MDA accumulation and the degree of cell membrane lipid peroxidation and affected the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD). Under Cd stress, exogenous chitosan decreased the Cd content in the aboveground and underground parts of wheat by 13.22 %-21.63 % and 7.92 %-28.32 % and reduced Cd accumulation in the aboveground and underground parts by 5.37 %-6.71 % and 1.91 %-4.09 %, respectively. Whereas exogenous chitosan application significantly reduced the content of H 2 O 2 in roots and aboveground parts of wheat by 38.21 %-47.46 % and 45.81 %-55.73 % and MDA content by 37.65 %-48.12 % and 29.87 %-32.51 %, it increased the activities of SOD and POD in roots by 2.78 %-5.61 % and 13.81 %-18.33 %, respectively. In summary, exogenous chitosan can improve the photosynthetic characteristics and antioxidant enzyme activities of wheat seedlings under Cd stress, reduce the content and accumulation of Cd in the root and aboveground parts of wheat, and alleviate the damage of lipid peroxidation to the cell membrane. All of these results provide the basal data for the application of exogenous chitosan to alleviate Cd toxicity to wheat seedlings.

This study investigated the anti-aging mechanism of Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules based on metabonomics, network pharmacology, and molecular docking. The aging mice model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of D-galactose(D-gal). Mice were randomly divided into a control group, model group, melatonin group(MT group), and low, medium, and high dose groups of Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules(XSD-L, XSD-M, and XSD-H). An open-field experiment was conducted, and the expression of cell cycle arrest proteins(p16) and phosphorylated histone family 2A variant(γH2AX) in the brain tissue was detected by immunofluorescence. The expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and interleukin-6(IL-6) in the brain tissue was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Metabolomics analysis was performed on the serum of mice in control, model, and XSD-H groups to obtain metabolic processes and metabolites. The effective chemical components and potential targets of Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules were predicted through network pharmacology, and the network diagram of &quot;drug-effective chemical components-key targets&quot; was constructed. Gene Ontology(GO) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) analysis were carried out, and a protein-protein interaction(PPI) network was constructed to clarify the anti-aging mechanism of Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules. The results showed that the Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules could significantly improve the aging degree of D-gal mice, significantly improve the total motion distance and the mean motion speed of D-gal mice, and reduce the rest time. In addition, Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules could significantly reduce the protein levels of IL-6 and IL-1β and the expression of p16 and γH2AX in D-gal mice. Compared with the model group, 66 differential metabolites(DMs) were significantly up-regulated, and 91 DMs were down-regulated in the XSD-H group. Moreover, four key metabolic pathways(tryptophan metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism, and lysine degradation) and 16 biomarkers(lysine, tryptophan, indoleacetaldehyde, PCs, LysoPCs, 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid, melatonin, etc) were screened out. 58 main active components and 62 key targets of Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen Granules were screened by network pharmacology. The GO functional enrichment analysis found the positive regulation of gene expression, drug response, etc. KEGG pathway enrichment screening involved diabetic complications-related AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, hypoxia inducible factor-1 signaling pathway, etc. Through the PPI network and molecular docking, six potential core targets of STAT3, MAPK1, MAPK14, EGFR, FOS, and STAT1 were screened.

This research aimed to clarify the mitigative effect of exogenously applied rare earth element cerium （Ce） on the growth， zinc （Zn） accumulation， and physiological characteristics of wheat （ Triticum aestivum L.） seedlings under Zn stress. The wheat variety studied was Bainong307 （BN307）， and Zn stress was achieved by growing seedlings in a hydroponic culture experiment with 500 μmol·L -1 Zn 2 + added to the culture solution. It was found that Zn stress at 500 μmol·L -1 significantly inhibited the chlorophyll content， photosynthesis， and biomass accumulation of wheat seedlings. Seedling roots became shorter and thicker， and the lateral roots decreased under Zn stress. The Zn stress also increased MDA accumulation and the degree of cell membrane lipid peroxidation and reduced soluble protein contents and the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase （SOD）， catalase （CAT）， and ascorbate peroxidase （APX）. On the contrary， exogenous Ce decreased the adsorption and transport of Zn by the root system and alleviated the damage of Zn stress to wheat seedlings. Specifically， the increase in chlorophyll content （chlorophyll a， chlorophyll b， and total chlorophyll） and photosynthetic parameters， the enhancement of antioxidant enzymes activities and soluble protein levels， and the reduction in MDA content and the damage of lipid peroxidation to the cell membrane were all driven by exogenous Ce， which ultimately led to the increase in dry matter biomass of the root system and shoot. In summary， these results provide basic data for the application of exogenous Ce to alleviate Zn toxicity to plants.

To explore the effects of different concentrations of zinc （Zn） on the growth and root architecture classification of maize seedlings under cadmium （Cd） stress， a hydroponic experiment was conducted to study the effects of different concentrations of Zn （0， 10， 25， 50， 100， 200， and 400 μmol·L -1 ） on the growth， root architecture and classification characteristics， Cd content， root Cd uptake capacity， and photosynthetic system of maize seedlings under Cd stress （50 μmol·L -1 ） by using Zhengdan 958 as the experimental material. Principal component analysis and the membership function method were used for comprehensive evaluation. The results showed that the 50 μmol·L -1 Cd stress had a significant toxic effect on maize seedlings， which significantly reduced chlorophyll content and photosynthetic parameters. The main root length， plant height， biomass， root forks， and root tips， including the root length and root surface area of the grade Ⅰ-Ⅲ diameter range and the root volume of the grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ diameter range， decreased significantly， which hindered the normal growth and development of maize seedlings. Compared with that under no Zn application， 100 μmol·L -1 and 200 μmol·L -1 Zn application reduced the uptake of Cd by maize seedlings， significantly reduced the Cd content in shoots and roots and the Cd uptake efficiency. The toxic effect on maize seedlings was alleviated， and the fresh weight， dry weight， tolerance index， and root forks of shoots and roots were significantly increased. The photosynthesis of maize seedlings was significantly enhanced， and the photosynthetic rate and the total chlorophyll content was significantly increased. The RL， SA， and RV in the Ⅰ-Ⅱ diameter range reached the maximum at 100 μmol·L -1 Zn， and the RL， SA， and RV in the Ⅲ diameter range reached the maximum at 200 μmol·L -1 Zn， which were significantly higher than those without Zn treatment. The comprehensive evaluation of the growth tolerance of maize seedlings showed that 100 μmol·L -1 and 200 μmol·L -1 Zn had better effects on alleviating Cd toxicity. Comprehensive analysis showed that the application of appropriate concentration of Zn could reduce the Cd content in maize seedlings， the Cd uptake capacity， and Cd uptake efficiency of roots； increase the biomass accumulation of maize seedlings； reduce the effect of Cd toxicity on root architecture； reduce the effect on the light and system； and improve the tolerance of maize seedlings to Cd.

Uridine diphosphate glycosyltransferase(UGT) is involved in the glycosylation of a variety of secondary metabolites in plants and plays an important role in plant growth and development and regulation of secondary metabolism. Based on the genome of a diploid Chrysanthemum indicum, the UGT gene family from Ch. indicum was identified by bioinformatics methods, and the physical and chemical properties, subcellular localization prediction, conserved motif, phylogeny, chromosome location, gene structure, and gene replication events of UGT protein were analyzed. Transcriptome and real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR) were used to analyze the expression pattern of the UGT gene in flowers and leaves of Ch. indicum. Quasi-targeted metabolomics was used to analyze the differential metabolites in flowers and leaves. The results showed that a total of 279 UGT genes were identified in the Ch. indicum genome. Phylogenetic analysis showed that these UGT genes were divided into 8 subfamilies. Members of the same subfamily were distributed in clusters on the chromosomes. Tandem duplications were the main driver of the expansion of the UGT gene family from Ch. indicum. Structural domain analysis showed that 262 UGT genes had complete plant secondary metabolism signal sequences(PSPG box). The analysis of cis-acting elements indicated that light-responsive elements were the most ubiquitous elements in the promoter regions of UGT gene family members. Quasi-targeted metabolome analysis of floral and leaf tissue revealed that most of the flavonoid metabolites, including luteolin-7-O-glucoside and kaempferol-7-O-glucoside, had higher accumulation in flowers. Comparative transcriptome analysis of flower and leaf tissue showed that there were 72 differentially expressed UGT genes, of which 29 genes were up-regulated in flowers, and 43 genes were up-regulated in leaves. Correlation network and phylogenetic analysis showed that CindChr9G00614970.1, CindChr2G00092510.1, and CindChr2G00092490.1 may be involved in the synthesis of 7-O-flavonoid glycosides in Ch. indicum, and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR analysis further confirmed the reliability of transcriptome data. The results of this study are helpful to understand the function of the UGT gene family from Ch. indicum and provide data reference and theoretical basis for further study on the molecular regulation mechanism of flavonoid glycosides synthesis in Ch. indicum.

Objective: To investigate the prognostic value and mechanism of long non-coding RNA DLEU1(LncRNA DLEU1) in osteosarcoma., Methods: The tissue samples and clinical data of 86 patients with osteosarcoma treated by orthopaedic surgery in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2014 were retrospectively collected. The expression of LncRNA DLEU1 in pathological tissues was detected by qRT-PCR, then the patients were divided into high and low expression of LncRNA DLEU1 groups. Osteosarcoma cell line HOS was divided into two groups, down-regulated expression group (si-DLEU1 group) and negative control group (si-NC group). LncRNA DLEU1 siRNA and negative control sequence were transfected by Lipofectamine 3000. Chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of LncRNA DLEU1 and the clinicopathological factors of osteosarcoma. Kaplan-Meier method was used to compare the difference of the overall survival rate of osteosarcoma patients between the high and low expression groups of LncRNA DLEU1. The risk factors affecting the overall survival rate of osteosarcoma were analyzed by single factor and multifactor analysis. The number of invasive cells in the two groups was determined and compared by Transwell assay., Results: The expression of LncRNA DLEU1 in osteosarcoma tissue was higher than that in adjacent tissues ( P <0.001). The expression of LncRNA DLEU1 in human osteosarcoma cell lines (MG-63, U-2 OS, and HOS) was significantly higher than that in human osteoblast line hFOB 1.19 ( P <0.001). The expression of LncRNA DLEU1 was significantly correlated with Enneking stage ( P <0.001), distant metastasis ( P =0.016), and histological grade ( P =0.028). The 1-year overall survival rate of the LncRNA DLEU1 high expression group was significantly higher than that of the low expression group (90.7% vs 60.5%, P <0.001). The 5-year overall survival rate of the LncRNA DLEU1 high expression group was significantly higher than that of the low expression group (32.6% vs 11.6%, P <0.001). Univariate analysis showed that Enneking stage ( P <0.001), tumor size ( P =0.043), distant metastasis ( P <0.001), histological grade ( P <0.001), and expression of LncRNA DLEU1 ( P <0.001) were risk factors for overall survival of osteosarcoma patients. Multivariate analysis showed that high expression of LncRNA DLEU1 [HR=1.948, 95% CI(1.141, 3.641), P =0.012] and distant metastasis[HR=4.108, 95% CI(2.169, 7.780), P <0.001] were independent risk factors for overall survival of osteosarcoma patients. The number of invasive cells in si-DLEU1 group was significantly lesser than that in si-NC group(139±13 vs 357±31, P <0.001)., Conclusion: High expression of LncRNA DLEU1 is a molecular marker affecting the prognosis of osteosarcoma patients. Downregulation of LncRNA DLEU1 can inhibit the invasion of osteosarcoma cells.

Objective To validate the performance of the model for predicting the risk of intraoperative hypothermia.Methods This observational prospective study enrolled the adult patients who were of American Society of Anesthesiologists Ⅰ-Ⅲ and underwent elective surgery with general anesthesia in Peking Union Medical College Hospital,Beijing Hospital,and Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University from October 2019 to August 2021.The risk prediction model of intraoperative hypothermia was used to calculate the predictors score of each patient.The body temperature of each patient was monitored throughout the perioperative period,and perioperative temperature management were entirely at the discretion of the anesthesiologists.The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC),Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test,and Brier score were employed to evaluate the prediction performance of the model.Results Of the 472 participants included in this study,141(29.9%)developed intraoperative hypothermia and 124(26.3%)received intraoperative active warming.For predicting intraoperative hypothermia in the overall cohort,the model demonstrated good discrimination capacity with an AUC of 0.729(95% CI =0.680-0.777),adequate calibration(Hosmer-Lemeshow χ 2 =3.143, P =0.925),and good overall performance(Brier score of 0.34).For the patients with passive warming only,the model showed good discrimination(AUC=0.756;95% CI =0.704-0.808),good calibration(Hosmer-Lemeshow χ 2 =7.457, P =0.488),and the Brier score of 0.29.For the patients with active warming,the model presented the AUC of 0.747(95% CI =0.632-0.863),Hosmer-Lemeshow χ 2 of 4.754( P =0.783)and the Brier score of 0.47.Furthermore,we stratified the risk scores as low,moderate and high risk groups,in which the incidence of intraoperative hypothermia was 14.4%(95% CI =9.6%-19.1%),36.7%(95% CI =29.9%-43.5%),and 58.2%(95% CI =46.1%-70.3%),respectively.The differences between the three groups were statistically significant( χ 2 =54.112, P <0.001).Conclusion The intraoperative hypothermia prediction model demonstrates good overall differentiation capacity and has good prediction performance for the patients with or without active warming.

The spatial distribution of environmental factors, chlorophyll a (Chla), phytoplankton abundance, and community structure in the Laizhou Bay were investigated in August 2018 (wet season after pollution control) to clarify the effects of the pollution control of the Xiaoqing River, which is a major source of pollution, on environmental factors and phytoplankton community structure in this area. The results showed that the environmental factors changed significantly after pollution control of the Xiaoqing River. The concentrations of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN), dissolved inorganic silicon (DSi), NO 3 - , and NO 2 - decreased significantly, with values only 40.1% to 60.4% of those from the same period of in 2017 (the nearest year before the pollution control), whereas dissolved inorganic phosphorus (DIP) and NH 4 increased by 2.5 and 1.4 times that of their concentrations in 2017. The spatial distribution of environmental factors changed significantly, with the nutrient concentrations around the Xiaoqing River estuary noticeably decreasing. The abundance of phytoplankton cells was 21.5×10 6 cell·m -3 , which was close to the results of a previous study, whereas the ρ (Chla) was 2.43 μg·L -1 , which decreased obviously. Both microscopic analysis and pigment taxonomy suggested that phytoplankton community structure in the Laizhou Bay changed clearly, with the dominant community shifting from diatoms alone to the co-dominance of diatoms and cyanobacteria. Chaetoceros curvisetus , Skeletonema costatum , and Cerataulina pelagica , which were commonly observed in the Laizhou Bay before pollution control of the Xiaoqing River, decreased in 2018, whereas the abundance of common dominant freshwater species (e.g., Merismopedia sp. and Synedra spp.) increased significantly. Redundancy analysis (RDA) showed that the phytoplankton community was significantly related to nitrogen, phosphate (negative correlation), and salinity (negative correlation) after pollution control of the Xiaoqing River, indicating that the variation in nutrient concentration and the structure of river runoff input may be the main factors affecting phytoplankton community and dominant species structure.

Water-soluble ions and some trace gases during the Spring Festival in Ningbo were observed using an ion online gas composition and aerosol monitoring system. Combined with meteorological elements data, the source analysis and composition characteristics of water-soluble ions and trace gases were analyzed. The average concentration of ρ (PM 2.5 ) during the observation period was 33.1 μg·m -3 , and there was light pollution. The order of concentration of water-soluble ions was NO 3 - >SO 4 2- >NH 4 + >K + >Cl - >Na + >Ca 2+ >Mg 2+ . The secondary inorganic ions ρ (NO 3 - ), ρ (SO 4 2- ), and ρ (NH 4 + ) were the most water-soluble ions, which were 12.5, 10.5, and 7.2 μg·m -3 , respectively. According to the PMF source analysis, firecracker combustion, secondary generation (background, industrial source), and dust sources were the major sources of fine particles during the observation period, and their contribution rates of PM 2.5 were 21.9%, 64.5%, and 13.6%, respectively. When the secondary generation was the main pollution, NH 4 + accounted for 92.2% of the cations. When firecracker combustion was the main pollution from New Year's Eve to the second day, the proportion of K + ions significantly increased. Dust sources were affected by regional transport from the northwest direction. When the dust source was the main pollution, the proportion of K + +Ca 2+ and Na + +Mg 2+ increased.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) carries the experience and theoretical knowledge of the ancients, and the use of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines is a major feature and advantage of TCM. &quot;Toxic&quot; Chinese medicines have unique clinical value and certain medication risk under the guidance of TCM theories such as compatibility for detoxification and treatment based on syndrome differentiation. In recent years, the safety events of Chinese medicines have occurred frequently, which has made the safety of Chinese medicine a public concern in China and abroad. However, limited by conventional cognitive laws and technical methods, basic research on toxicity of Chinese medicines fails to be combined with the clinical application. As a result, it is difficult to identify the clinical characteristics of, predict toxic and side effects of, or form a universal precise medication regimen for &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines, which restricts the clinical application of them. In view of the problem that the toxicity of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines is difficult to be predicted and restricts the clinical application, the evidence-based research concept will provide new ideas for safe applcation of them in clinical practice. The integrated development of multiple disciplines and techniques in the field of big data and artificial intelligence will also promote the renewal and development of the research models for &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines. Our team tried to propose the academic concept of evidence-based Chinese medicine toxicology and establish the data-intelligence research mode for &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines and the intelligent risk prediction method for medicinal combination in the early stage, which provided methodological supports for solving the above problem. Thus, on the basis of summarizing the research status and problems of the clinical medication regimen of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines, our team took the evidence-based toxicology of TCM as the core concept, and tried to construct the multiple-evidence integrated evaluation and prediction method for &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicine, so as to guide the establishment of the non-toxic medication regimen of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines. Specifically, through the analysis of multivariate data obtained from the basic research, the evidence-based toxicology database of Chinese medicines and the individualized &quot;toxicity-effect&quot; intelligent prediction platform were built based on the disease-syndrome virtual patients, so as to identify the clinical characteristics and risks of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines and develop individualized medication regime. This study is expected to provide a methodological reference for the establishment of medication regimen and risk prevention strategy for &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines. The method established in this study will bridge clinical research and basic research, enhance the transformation of the scientific connotation of attenuated compatibility, promote the development of evidence-based Chinese medicine toxicology, and ensure the clinical safety of &quot;toxic&quot; Chinese medicines.

Pharmacology network was used to investigate the common key target and signaling pathway of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma in the protection against diabetic nephropathy(DN), diabetic encephalopathy(DE) and diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM). The chemical components of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma were obtained through TCMSP database and literature mining, and SwissTargetPrediction database was used to predict potential targets of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma. The disease targets of DN, DE and DCM were obtained through OMIM and GeneCards databases. The overlapped targets of component targets and disease targets of DN, DE and DCM were obtained, and the network of &quot;chemical component-target-disease&quot; was established. The enriched GO and KEGG of the overlapped genes were investigated by using ClueGo plug-in with Cytoscape. At the same time, the PPI network was constructed through STRING database, and the common key targets for the treatment of three diseases by Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma were obtained through topological parametric mathematical analysis by Cytoscape. A total of 166 chemical components and 835 component targets were screened out from Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma. Briefly, 216, 194 and 230 disease targets of DN, DE and DCM were collected, respectively. And 54, 45 and 57 overlapped targets were identified when overlapping these disease targets with component targets of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma, respectively. Enrichment analysis indicated that the AGE-RAGE signaling pathway and FoxO signaling pathway were the common pathways in the protection of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma against DN, DE and DCM. Network analysis of the overlapped targets showed that TNF, STAT3, IL6, VEGFA, MAPK8, CASP3 and SIRT1 were identified as key targets of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma against DN, DE and DCM, the selected key targets were verified by literature review, and it was found that TNF, IL6, VEGFA, CASP3 and SIRT1 had been reported in the literature. In addition, there were the most compounds corresponding to the commom core target STAT3, indicating that more compounds in Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma could regulate STAT3. This study indicated that Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma potentially protected against DN, DE and DCM through regulating AGE-RAGE signaling pathway and FoxO signaling pathway and 7 common targets including TNF, STAT3, IL6, VEGFA, MAPK8, CASP3 and SIRT1. This study provided a reference for the research of &quot;different diseases with same treatment&quot; and also elucidated the potential mechanism of Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma against DN, DE and DCM.

Objective: To observe the improvement of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture on depression-like behavior in rats with post-stroke depression (PSD), and to explore its possible mechanism., Methods: A total of 48 SD rats were randomized into a sham-operation group, a model group, a Tongdu Tiaoshen group and a non-meridian-non-acupoint group, 12 rats in each group. In the the model group, the Tongdu Tiaoshen group and the non-meridian-non-acupoint group, PSD model was established by the compound method of cerebral medial arterial occlusion, chronic unpredictable mild stress and isolation. Acupuncture was applied at "Dazhui"(GV 14), "Shuigou"(GV 26), "Baihui"(GV 20) and "Shenting" (GV 24) in the Tongdu Tiaoshen group, and at the bilateral dorsum hollows between 3rd and 4th metatarsal bones of the forelegs in the non-meridian-non-acupoint group, needles were retained for 40 min in the both groups, once a day, 6 times a week for 4 weeks. Before model establishment and after intervention, the ethology indice of Zea Longa neurological behavioral score, open-field test and sucrose preference test were evaluated in the 4 groups. The levels of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-Akt), phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin (p-mTOR), Beclin1 and LC3B-Ⅱ/Ⅰin the CA1 region of hippocampus were detected by western blot. The expressions of Beclin1, LC3B-ⅡmRNA in the CA1 region of hippocampus were detected by real-time PCR., Results: After model established, compared with the sham-operation group, the Zea Longa neurological behavioral scores were increased ( P <0.05), the scores of horizontal and vertical motion of the open-field test and the consumption of sucrose solution were decreased in the model group, the Tongdu Tiaoshen group and the non-meridian-non-acupoint group ( P <0.05). After intervention, compared with the sham-operation group, the Zea Longa neurological behavioral score, the expression of Beclin1, LC3B-Ⅱ/Ⅰ and LC3B-Ⅱin the CA1 region of hippocampus were increased ( P <0.05), the scores of horizontal and vertical motion of the open-field test, the consumption of sucrose solution and the expression of PI3K, p-Akt and p-mTOR were decreased in the model group ( P <0.05). After intervention, compared with the model group and the non-meridian-non-acupoint group, the Zea Longa neurological behavioral score, the expression of Beclin1, LC3B-Ⅱ/Ⅰ and LC3B-Ⅱin the CA1 region of hippocampus were decreased ( P <0.05), the scores of horizontal and vertical motion of the open-field test, the consumption of sucrose solution and the expression of PI3K, p-Akt and p-mTOR were increased in the Tongdu Tiaoshen group ( P <0.05)., Conclusion: Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture can effectively improve the depression-like behavior in PSD rats, its mechanism may relate to the activation of PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway and the inhibition of hippocampal neuron autophagy.

Objective: To discuss the outcomes of ICSI in infertile patients with globozoospermia (GS), acephalic spermatozoa syndrome (ASS) or teratozoospermia with miniacrosome and irregular-headed sperm defect (TMRHS)., Methods: This retrospective study included 3 cases of GS, 3 cases of ASS and 2 cases of TMRHS undergoing ICSI. We analyzed the rates of fertilization, cleavage, blastocyst formation, implantation, clinical pregnancy and live birth in the three groups of patients., Results: The patients of the GS and ASS groups all achieved clinical pregnancies and healthy births, but those of the TMRHS group showed a lower fertilization rate than the other two groups and achieved no clinical pregnancy., Conclusions: ICSI could achieve successful clinical pregnancy in infertile patients with globozoospermia or acephalic spermatozoa syndrome, but no satisfactory clinical outcome in those with miniacrosome and irregular-headed sperm defect, though it has to be further proved by more studies with larger-sized samples.

Ischemic stroke is the most common form of stroke and one of the main diseases leading to death and disability in the world. Its pathological process is complex and changeable as a result of the interaction of multiple pathological links, such as oxidative stress, apoptosis and inflammation. Traditional Chinese medicine Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma is the dried roots and rhizomes of Panax notoginseng. In clinic, it is mainly used for the treatment of diseases of cardio-cerebral system and vascular system. Recent studies have shown that total saponins of P. notoginseng, the main active ingredients of P. notoginseng against cerebral ischemia, are complex, and can interfere with the enzyme-promoted cascade reaction through multiple pathways, multiple links and multiple targets, so as to exert its physiological effect. Therefore, it has become a hotspot in studies for prevention and treatment of cerebral ischemia. At present, a great advance has been made in studies on the mechanism of anti-cerebral ischemia of P. notoginseng saponins, but more in-depth studies are needed because of its complex mechanism. Therefore, in this paper, a total of 165 kinds of P. notoginseng saponins were summarized, and simply divided into protopanaxadiol saponins(55 species), protopanaxadiol saponins(37 species) and special structural type saponins(73 species) according to their structural types, so as to provide reference for further studies of P. notoginseng saponins. In addition, the effect of P. notoginseng on cerebral ischemia is clear, but its mechanism remains to be further explored. This paper summarizes the mechanism of P. notoginseng saponins against cerebral ischemia in five aspects: antioxidant stress, reduction of apoptosis, reduction of inflammatory reaction, inhibition of calcium overload and protection of blood-brain barrier. Four kinds of drugs commonly used in the treatment of cerebral ischemia were summarized, in order to provide a theoretical basis for further development and utilization of P. notoginseng saponins in the treatment of cerebral ischemia.

To observe the efficacy of San'ao Decoction(SAD) in diffusing the lung and relieving asthma, and its intervention effect on the expression of transient receptor potential V2(TRPV2) during alleviating asthma, this study replicated an ovalbumin(OVA)-induced asthmatic mice model, and investigated the intervention effect of SAD on the airway inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness. The regulatory mechanisms of SAD on the mRNA and protein expressions of TRPV2 in lung tissues and the levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),-10(IL-10), nerve growth factor(NGF), prostaglandin D&#95;2(PGD&#95;2) in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) were discussed. Compared with the control group, the model group showed typical asthmatic phenotype, the level of eosinophils(EOS) in peripheral blood and BALF as well as the airway hyperresponsiveness were increased(P&lt;0.01), and pathological damage in lung tissue was serious. The mRNA and protein expressions of TRPV2 in lung tissue were increased significantly, while the levels of IL-4, IL-10, NGF and PGD&#95;2 in BALF were elevated(P&lt;0.05,P&lt;0.01). SAD could relieve bronchial asthma manifested as repaired lung patholo-gical changes(P&lt;0.05), reduce the level of EOS in blood and BALF(P&lt;0.05, P&lt;0.01), and improve pulmonary resistance and lung compliance(P&lt;0.05, P&lt;0.01). SAD could also regulate the inflammatory cytokine levels of IL-4, IL-10, NGF, PGD&#95;2 in BALF, and reduce the gene and protein expression of TRPV2 in the lung tissue(P&lt;0.05, P&lt;0.01). It is verified that SAD could reduce the lung inflammation, and improve lung function in asthmatic mice. The regulatory mechanism of SAD on asthma induced by OVA might be related to the regulation of TRPV2 expression and the induced decrease of Th2-related cytokines and neuropeptides, which provides the evidences for the treatment of asthma with SAD.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) underlying improvement of cerebral infarction (CI) by investigating its influence on expression of cerebral Wnt7a, lymphoid enhancer factor-1 (LEF1), glycogen synthase kinase 3β(GSK-3β) and Dickkopf-1(DKK1) mRNA and proteins in CI rats., Methods: A total of 280 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank control ( n ＝10), sham-operation, model and EA groups，and 90 rats of the last 3 groups were further divided into 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 and 24 h, and 3, 7 and 12 d subgroups with 10 rats in each subgroup. The CI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery (MCAO). The sham-operation group received the same surgical operation but without thread embolus insertion. EA (2 Hz/15 Hz, 2 mA) was applied to "Shuigou" (GV26) for 20 min, once a day for 1, 3, 7 and 12 d, respectively. The neurological deficit was evaluated by using Neurological Severity Scores (NSS). The expression levels of Wnt7a，LEF1, GSK-3β and DKK1 mRNAs and proteins in the right ischemic brain tissues were detected by Quantative real-time PCR and Western blot, respectively., Results: After MCAO, the NSS score was significantly increased in the model and EA groups relevant to the blank control and sham-operation groups ( P <0.01) and gradually decreased with the prolongation of ischemia time. After EA, the NSS scores were notably decreased on day 3, 7 and 12 in the EA group compared with the model group ( P <0.05, P <0.01). After modeling, the expression levels of Wnt7a and LEF1 mRNAs from 3 h to 12 d, Wnt7a and LEF1 proteins from 6 h to 12 d were considerably increased ( P <0.01, P <0.05), while those of GSK-3β mRNA at 9, 12 and 24 h, GSK-3β protein at 24 h and 3 d, and DKK1 mRNA at 24 h and 3 d and DKK1 protein at 3 d were obviously decreased in the model group relevant to the sham-operation group ( P <0.05, P <0.01). After the intervention, the expression levels of Wnt7a mRNA at 12 h to 3 d, Wnt7α protein from 24 h to 12 d, LEF1 mRNA from 24 h to 12 d, and LEF1 protein from 3 d to 12 d were further apparently up-regulated ( P <0.01, P <0.05), while those of GSK-3β mRNA at 9 h, 3，7 and 12 d, and GSK-3β protein at 12 h, 7 d and 12 d, and DKK1 mRNA at 12 h, 24 h and 3 d, and DKK1 protein at 24 h to 12 d were obviously down-regulated in the EA group relevant to the model group ( P <0.01, P <0.05). No significant difference was found between the blank and sham-operation groups in the NSS scores and expression levels of Wnt7a, LEF1, GSK-3β and DKK1 mRNAs and proteins at all the time points ( P >0.05)., Conclusion: EA of GV26 can significantly improve the neurological deficit symptoms in MCAO rats, which may be associated with its effects in up-regulating the expression of Wnt7a and LEF1 mRNAs and proteins, and in down-regulating the expression of GSK-3β and DKK1 mRNAs and proteins.

The outbreak caused by 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) is still spreading, posing a great threat to the safety and health of general population. However, there have not been any effective drugs for treatment, with symptomatic treatment and prevention prevailing. The treatment plans of severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS) are often used for reference in clinic. The advantages of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in treating SARS and MERS are that it can intervene and block the progression of disease in early stage, significantly reduce symptoms, shorten the treatment duration of patients, reduce complications and side effects caused by hormone therapy. The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) belongs to the category of TCM epidemic diseases. Chinese patent medicines and prescriptions in medical observation and clinical treatment were recommended in the &quot;pneumonia diagnosis and treatment plan for new coronavirus infection&quot;(trial version fifth) of the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China. Qingfei Paidu Decotion was recommended for the treatment of COVID-19 by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM shows good clinical efficacy and great potential in the treatment of COVID-19. Previous studies of TCM have shown broad-spectrum antiviral activity, providing a variety of sources for the discovery of new antiviral drugs. In this paper, we reviewed traditional Chinese medicines and its active ingredients in the hope of bringing novel inspirations to the drug screening and clinical treatment for COVID-19.

Objective: To investigate the distribution of peripheral blood lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, and its influence on the prognosis of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)., Methods: The lymphocytes proportion, absolute lymphocyte counts (ALC), NK cell proportion and absolute NK cell counts (ANKC) as well as the related data of 95 MDS patients diagnosed between 2013 and 2017 analyzed retrospectively. The correlation of ALC and ANKC with prognosis was also analyzed., Results: As compared with low ALC patients, MDS patients with ALC≥0.885×10 9 /L had a higher overall response rate (66.7% vs 35.8%) (P＜0.01). The ALC of effective patients after treatment significatitly increased in compaison of ALC at diagnosis. Multivariate analysis indicated that patients with ALC≥0.885×10 9 /L had long overall survival (OS) time in comparison with patients with low level (16.4 vs 12.4 months) (P＜0.05). The OS time of patients with ANKC≥0.110×10 9 /L was shorter in comparison with patients with low level (10.9 vs 16.3 months) (P＜0.01). Otherwise, blast, cytogenetic risks and treatment response were also independent risk factors of MDS (P＜0.05). Revised International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS-R) combined with ANKC could improve predictive accuracy of IPSS-R alone (AUC 0.718 vs 0.674) (P＜0.05)., Conclusion: Lymphocytes and NK cells are important for the prognosis evaluation of MDS patients.

Objective: To investigate the probable roles of the novel C2H2 zinc finger transcription factor ZFP580 on all-transretinoic acid (ATRA)-regulated VSMCs migration and underlying mechanisms., Methods: Rat aortic VSMCs were isolated, cultured and identified. VSMCs were treated with ATRA at the concentrations of 0, 5, 10 or 20 μmol/L for 24 hours. The migration ability of VSMCs was observed in each group and compared with control group which was treated by 0 μmol/L ATRA. The mRNA and protein expression levels of ZFP580 were detected by QPCR and Western blot. ZFP580 protein expression in VSMCs was detected under ATRA stimulation when ERK inhibitor PD98059 was used to inhibit the protein expression of ERK. Adenovirus transfection technology was used to obtain VSMCs with overexpression or low expression of ZFP580, and QPCR and Western blot were used to detect the mRNA and protein levels of MMP-2, MMP-9 and ZFP580., Results: On the 10th day of VSMCs culture, immunofluorescence showed that SM22 alpha antibody, as a specific marker of smooth muscle cells, was positive. Compared to the control group, VSMCs migration was reduced by 32%, 43%, and 59% in the group of 5, 10, and 20 μmol/L ATRA pretreatment. Compared with the control group, VSMCs treated by 20 μmol/L ATRA reduced the cell migration by 49%, 36% and 22% at 24, 48 and 72 h. The mRNA and protein expression levels of ZFP580 were increased with the increase of ATRA stimulation solubility and the extension of stimulation time. ERK was increased significantly after 15 min of ATRA stimulation. Pretreatment with ERK inhibitor PD98059 (20 μmol/L) inhibited the expression of ERK protein and reduced the expression of ATRA-induced ZFP580 protein. Overexpression of ZFP580 inhibited the expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9, whereas down-expression of ZFP580 promoted the expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9., Conclusion: ATRA increased the expression of ZFP580 through the ERK signaling pathway, while ZFP580 was involved in ATRA's inhibition of VSMCs migration by affecting the expression of downstream MMP-2 and MMP-9.

The effects of a single application of three amendments (biochar, lignite, and chicken manure) on the fraction transformations of soil Cd and Ni and uptake by winter wheat are reported to provide reference for passivation and the remediation of heavy metals in soil. Field experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of different passivators on the forms of Cd and Ni in soils at different growth stages of winter wheat, and to analyze the contents of Cd and Ni in different organs of wheat. The results showed that biochar increased soil pH and that lignite reduced soil pH, but not significantly. Chicken manure significantly reduced soil pH at booting and mature stages, and decreased by 0.23 and 0.20 pH units, respectively. The single application of biochar, chicken manure, or lignite did not reduce the exchangeable Ni content significantly, whereas the effect on the exchangeable Cd was significant. Lignite 2% treatment had the greatest decrease in exchangeable Cd at different growth stages of wheat, which were 30.50%, 43.34%, and 31.20%, respectively. The contents of Cd and Ni in the shoots and underground parts of wheat decreased to some extent, and the extent of these decreases increased with the increase of passivator dosage. The decrease of Cd content in wheat roots was the largest under the treatment of lignite 2% at different growth stages, reaching 38.35%, 58.00%, and 50.20% respectively. The greatest decline of Ni content in wheat roots occurred in the lignite 2% treatment at the booting (41.33% decline) and mature stages (51.35%). All the three amendments reduced the availability of Cd and Ni in slightly alkaline soil, and the passivation effect on Cd was better than that of Ni. All three amendments also effectively reduced the content of Cd and Ni in different organs of wheat plants in different growth period. The order of decreasing effect of Cd in wheat organs was lignite > biochar > chicken manure at the same dose of these three passivators.

Objective: To select the optimized treatment plan of acupuncture for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis by using multiple indexes decision-making method based on the clinical evidence., Methods: The randomized control trials (RCTs) regarding acupuncture for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis in the CNKI database, CBM database, WANFANG database, VIP database, PubMed, Cochrane Library and Embase published before December 31, 2017 were comprehensively collected. The modified Jadad scale was used to evaluate the quality of the RCTs. Then the evaluation indexes were selected and the dimensions of evaluation indexes were standardized by using extreme difference transformation method. The weight of each index was determined by using relative comparison method and the standardized matrix was weighted. Thus, the ideal solution and the negative ideal solution were obtained, and the relatively degree of each treatment plan to the ideal solution was calculated to propose the optimized plan of acupuncture for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis., Results: A total of 18 RCTs were included, the optimized plan of acupuncture for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis was using thin fire needle to rapidly prick the abnormal skin region with fast needle insertion-withdrawal technique; the fire needle was applied repeatedly; intensive pricking to form a treatment area; the treatment was given once every 5 days., Conclusion: Based on the current clinical evidence, the optimized plan of acupuncture for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis is using thin fire needle to prick the abnormal skin region; the multiple methods of plum-blossom needling met the characteristic of lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis and is suitable for clinical selection. The main acupoints are ashi points in the abnormal skin area or the acupoints in the foot- yangming meridian and foot- shaoyang meridian, combined with lumbar Jiaji (EX-B2) points.

Objective: To investigate the effect of Yiqi Wenyang Huoxue Huatan Fang (YWHHF) on alleviating hypoxia-hypercarbia pulmonary hypertension by inhibiting endothelial-mesenchymal transition (EndoMT) via BMP-7/Smads pathway., Methods: Fifty male healthy SD rats of clean grede, weighting (180~220) g, were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n =10):normoxia group (N), hypoxia-hypercarbia group (HH); YWHHF high dose group (YH), middle dose group (YM) and low dose group (YL). The rats in N group were kept in normal oxygen environment, the remaining four groups were intermittently exposed to hypoxia-hypercarbia environment (9%~11% O 2 , 5%~6% CO 2 ) for 4 weeks, 6 days a week, 8 hours per day. The rats in YH, YM, YL groups were received YWHHF gavage in a dosageof 0.6, 0.3, 0.15g/kg respectively (3 ml/kg),the rats in N and HH groups were received equal volume of normal saline. After 4 weeks, the mean pulmonary arterial pressure(mPAP) was detected,the right ventricular free wall and left ventricle plus ventricular septum were isolated to determine the right ventricular hypertrophy index. Lung ultrastructural changes were surveyed under an electronic microscopy, the changes of pulmonary artery structure surveyed by immunofluorescence, the mRNA levels of alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA)、platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 (CD31)、bone morphogenetic protein-7 (BMP-7)、drosophila mothers against decapentaplegic protein1/5/8 (Smad1/5/8) were detected by RT-PCR, and the protein levels of α-SMA、CD31、BMP-7、p-Smad1/5/8 and Smad1/5/8 were detected by Western blot., Results: Compared with N group, mPAP and the right ventricular hypertrophy index were increased,some significant injuries also were discovered under microscopic observation,the mRNA and protein expression of α-SMA was increased, and the mRNA expressions of CD31、BMP-7、Smad1/5/8 were decreased in the other four groups, the protein expressions of CD31、BMP-7、p-Smad1/5/8 were decreased( P <0.05). Compared with HH group, the above changes in YH、YM、YL groups were all improved ( P <0.05)., Conclusions: YWHHF can inhibit EndoMT to alleviate pulmonary hypertension, and the mechanism may be related to the promotion of the expression of BMP-7/Smads pathway.

In this study, a computer-based network pharmacology approach was applied to investigate the potential mechanism and important components of Rhodiola crenulata in the protection of H9c2 cells against hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂)-induced oxidative stress. The intestinal absorption liquid of R. crenulata enhanced the cell viability, maintained cell morphology and inhibited cell apoptosis in the H₂O₂-induced oxidative stress in H9c2. Then, computer-based network pharmacology was used to analyze the relevant mechanism. A total of 133 oxidative stress-related compounds were screened out; and 26 of them occupied the top 20%, and all of the compounds enriched in 43 oxidative stress-related key targets. Finally, a "compound-target-pathway-function" network was constructed. Based on the analysis of the network pharmacology, R. crenulata protected H9c2 cells against H₂O₂-induced oxidative stress probably by affecting apoptosis-related processes, such as cell death, nitric oxide metabolism, oxidative stress, mitochondrial mechanism, redox process, redox-related enzyme activty and other oxidative stress-related process. And salidroside, ethyl gallate and catechins, which were the main components of R. crenulata, played an important role in this process. Therefore, the potential mechanism and important components of R. crenulata revealed the protective effect on oxidative stress. Objective: To observe the pulmonary vascular remodeling in rats with pulmonary hypertension induced by hypoxia and hypercapnia, and to explore the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in pulmonary hypertension., Methods: Forty SD rats were random-ly divided into four groups:normoxic control group (N), hypoxia hypercapnia group (HH), ERS inhibitor 4-phenylbutyric acid group (4-PBA), endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) pathway agonist tunicamycin group (TM), ten rats in each group.The mean pulmona-ry artery pressure (mPAP), mean carotid artery pressure (mCAP) and right ventricular hypertrophy index of rats in each group were measured.Pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells were identified by immunofluorescence α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA).Morphologi-cal changes of lung tissue and pulmonary artery were observed by electron microscope.The apoptotic index of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells in each group was detected by TUNEL.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot were used to detect the expression of glucose-regulated protein (GRP78), C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP), c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase-12 (caspase-12) mRNA and protein in each group., Results: ①Compared with the N group, the mPAP, the ratio of right ventricle weight to left ventricle plus ventricular septum weight[RV/(LV+S)]and the ratio of pulmonary artery wall area to total tube area (WA/TA) were increased ( P <0.01), and the ratio of pulmonary artery luminal area to total tube area (LA/TA) were decreased ( P <0.01), pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell apoptosis index were decreased ( P <0.05 or P <0.01) in HH group, 4-PBA group and TM group.ERS related protein and mRNA expressions were increased, the differences were statistically significant.②Compared with the HH group, the mPAP, [RV/(LV+S)]and WA/TA of 4-PBA group were decreased ( P <0.01), LA/TA and pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell apoptosis index were increased ( P <0.01, P <0.05).The expressions of ERS related protein and mRNA were all decreased ( P <0.05 or P <0.01).③Compared with the HH group, the mPAP, [RV/(LV+S)]and WA/TA of TM group were increased ( P <0.05 or P <0.01), pulmonary artery middle layer thickened, LA/TA and pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell apoptotic index were decreased ( P <0.01).ERS related protein and mRNA expressions were increased with statistical significance except GRP78 protein., Conclusions: Pulmonary vascular remodeling in rats with pulmonary hypertension induced by hypoxia and hypercapnia may be related to the excessive proliferation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells and too little apopto-sis;ERS related factors (JNK, caspase-12 and CHOP) are involved in the regulation of pulmonary hypertension induced by hypoxia hypercapnia.

Objective: To investigate the changes of pulmonary function and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in the standardized treatment of bronchial asthma in children., Methods: A total of 254 children who were newly diagnosed with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma were selected as asthma group, and they were divided into two subgroups: asthma with concurrent rhinitis and asthma without concurrent rhinitis. All patients received the standardized management and treatment for one year. The pulmonary function parameters included forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), peak expiratory flow (PEF), maximal mid-expiratory flow (MMEF), and mid-expiratory flow at 25%, 50%, and 75% of vital capacity (MEF25, MEF50, and MEF75). The FeNO levels were measured before treatment and at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after treatment. Another 62 healthy children were selected as the control group, and the pulmonary function and FeNO levels were measured only once., Results: During one year of standardized treatment, FEV1, PEF, MMEF, MEF25, MEF50, and MEF75 gradually increased, and FeNO levels gradually decreased (P<0.05). Indicators of large airway function, such as FEV1 and PEF, almost returned to normal after 6 months of treatment; indicators of small airway function, such as MMEF, MEF25, MEF50, and MEF75 almost returned to normal after 9 months of treatment; there were no significant differences in the above indices between the asthma group and the control group after one year of treatment (P>0.05). However, the asthma group had a significantly higher FeNO levels than the control group after one year of treatment (P<0.05). The asthmatic patients with concurrent rhinitis had significantly higher FeNO levels than those without concurrent rhinitis before treatment and 3 months after treatment (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was a significant negative correlation between FeNO levels and pulmonary function parameters (P<0.05)., Conclusions: With the standardized treatment of bronchial asthma in children, pulmonary function parameters gradually increase and FeNO levels gradually decrease. The recovery of large airway function occurs earlier than the recovery of small airway function. Furthermore, the effect of rhinitis on airway responsiveness should be noted.

This study aimed to investigate the expression of the natriuretic peptide precursor C coding gene nppc and its role in angiogenesis during embryonic period of the zebrafish. Whole mount in situ hybridization was performed to detect the expression pattern of nppc. nppc specific morpholino and nppc mRNA were injected respectively into the one-cell stage embryo to specifically knock-down and rescue the expression of nppc in Tg (flk1:GFP) and Tg (fli1a:nGFP) transgenic lines. The morphology and endothelial cell number of intersegmental vessel (ISV) were analyzed after imaging using the laser scanning confocal microscope. The results revealed that nppc was expressed in the brain, heart and vasculature of zebrafish larvae at 24 and 48 hours post-fertilization (hpf). Knock-down of nppc affected the development of ISV. Endothelial cell number was reduced after the knock-down of nppc. These results suggest that nppc controls zebrafish angiogenesis by affecting the endothelial cell proliferation and migration.
