Objective To investigate the advantages and disadvantages of purse-string suture, Hem-o-lok clip and double thread ligation in the treatment of appendiceal stump. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 237 acute appendicitis patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy at Nanjing Jiangbei Hospital from July 2021 to April 2023. According to the treatment, the patients were divided into purse-string suture group (n=48), Hem-o-lok clip group (n=152) and double thread ligation group (n=37). The baseline data, surgical time, intraoperative bleeding, length of hospital stay, total hospitalization costs, and incidence of postoperative complications among three different treatment methods were compared. Results There was no significant in operation time, blood loss, and hospital stay among three groups (P＞0.05). there was significant difference in total hospitalization cost among three groups (F=5.823, P=0.003), and that in double thread ligation group was (9 809.1±1 199.7) yuan, which was significantly lower than that in the purse-string suture group ［(10 355.0±1 133.7) yuan］ and Hem-o-lok clip group ［(10 541.6±1 179.3) yuan］ (P＜0.05). The incidence of complications in the purse string suture group was 2.1% (1/48), the Hem-o-lok clip group was 2.0% (3/152), and the double thread ligation group was 2.7% (1/37). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications among the three groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion The three methods to secure the appendiceal stump are safe and effective, but double thread ligation is cost-saving than purse-string suture and Hem-o-lok clip.

[Introduction] Under the current situation of increasing automation level of distribution network, in order to solve the problem that the influence of distribution automation is not considered in traditional distribution network power supply reliability assessment methods, in this paper, a method for rapid assessment of power supply reliability of urban distribution network is proposed, which takes into account the automatic partitioning of distribution network. [Method] In this paper, based on the node division method of path characteristics, by demarcating automatic partitioning of distribution network, defining large and small segments, a method for evaluating the effect of power supply reliability improvement that was suitable for automatic partitioning of distribution network was proposed. [Result] Compared with the industry standard for reliability evaluation of medium-voltage distribution network, the proposed method fully considers the influence of distribution automation on reducing fault location, isolation and switching operation time, and the evaluation result is reduced by about 22%. [Conclusion] The proposed method can more accurately analyze the power supply reliability of the distribution network with a higher level of distribution automation, and is suitable for urban distribution network areas with a small power outage time base.

The multiple identification system for coal miners entering well based on low-frequency trigger is proposed. By combining 2.4 GHz with 125 kHz, the data is transmitted at 2.4 GHz and the signal distance control is realized at 125 kHz. By using low-frequency trigger mechanism to adjust the radio frequency transmission frequency and fast matching of biometric identification, the passing time is shortened. The universal interface of biometric identification is designed to enhance the compatibility of the system, and the system software based on the multi-threading mode of actor model is designed to improve the real-time performance and stability of this system. The test results show that the receiving distance is less than 1 m and the passing time is less than 2 s, which can meet the actual requirements of coal mines.

The purpose of the experiment was to screen beneficial strains with antibacterial effects from the natural environment and study their growth characteristics. In the experiment, 12 strains of Bacillus were screened with E. coli as indicator bacteria, and six strains of Bacillus with antibacterial activity were screened and identified. Then, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were used as indicator bacteria to screen the antibacterial peptide extracts of Bacillus, and hemolytic comparison, drug sensitivity determination, and growth characteristics of the screened strains were studied. The results showed that Bacillus G02 and J12, which had strong antibacterial activity, were identified as Bacillus siamensis. The extracts of two strains of Bacillus had the ability of secreting surface activity, and the ability of secreting surface activity was equal. The sensitivity of two strains of Bacillus to 16 drugs was above medium sensitivity. The extracts of two strains of Bacillus had the ability of secreting surface activity, and the ability of secreting surface activity was equal. The two strains entered the logarithmic growth phase at 6 h, the pH value was maintained between 5 and 8, and the antimicrobial activity reached its peak at 22 h. Portable X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (PXRF) is often used in the laboratory and the field because it is a portable, high-efficiency and non-destructive piece of equipment. PXRF can be used to obtain semi-quantitative/quantitative results of multiple elements in geological samples within two minutes. However, there are many factors that can affect the analytical results of geological samples by PXRF, including the surface state, sample heterogeneity, and the measurement time. In order to further understand the effect of sample types and analytical methods on the element contents, the study described here compares the analytical results of rocks by PXRF with those acquired by conventional laboratory analysis. Results of rocks and rock powder samples by PXRF were also compared, and the effect of different detection time on the results of rock powder samples by PXRF was also investigated. A method has been proposed which will reduce the exploration cost and improve work efficiency without a significant loss of analytical precision. The results shows that analytical results of most of the detectable elements is not reliable when analyzing rocks directly by PXRF, especially for the frequently used trace elements (Cu, Pb, Zn, As and Ni). However, PXRF can be used to analyze rock powders and the analytical result is acceptable. There is a difference between the correlation of various elements between rock and rock powder samples by PXRF. Therefore, it is possible to determine whether the rock sample needs to be ground for sample preparation according to the target elements of interest in practical work. The detection time has no obvious effect on the elemental content results. Whether a specific element can be obtained in a relatively short time, further detection time is unnecessary.

The tillering angle was an important plant type trait of rice, and the suitable tillering angle was the key factor to achieve the high yield of rice. The specific molecular marker S-TAC1 based on STARP (Semi-thermal asymmetric reverse PCR) technology was designed for the functional site of TAC1, which was the major efficiency gene controlling the tillering angle of rice, and the genotype identification of 56 sequenced conventional rice varieties and 164 hybrid rice varieties were conducted. S-TAC1 accurately identified the genotypes of 56 sequenced conventional varieties, including 36 compact homozygous genotypes tac1/tac1 and 20 incompact homozygous genotypes TAC1/TAC1, which indicated that the S-TAC1 typing results were accurate and reliable. Among 164 hybrid rice varieties, 62 were heterozygous genotypes TAC1/tac1 and 102 were incompact homozygous genotypes TAC1/TAC1. The functional markers developed in this study provided technical support for the cultivation of rice varieties with ideal plant type by molecular marker-assisted selection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The objectives of this study are to identify and analyze the uncoupling protein (UCPs) gene family members in sweetpotato (Ipopoea batatas (L.) Lam) and to investigate its expression specificity in different tissues of sweetpotato and its response to low temperature (4°C), high salinity (NaCl) and drought (PEG-6000) stresses. The results showed that the UCP (IbUCP) gene family of sweetpotato included five genes, which were named IbUCPl (GenBank accession number: MW753000), IbUCP2 (GenBank accession number: MW753004), IbUCP3 (GenBank accession number: MW753001), IbUCP4 (GenBank accession number: MW753002), and IbUCP5 (GenBank accession number: MW753003), respectively. IbUCP contains 261-375 amino acid residues with the theoretical isoelectric point from 8.53 to 9.86. IbUCP were mainly located in mitochondria. IbUCP was a hydrophilic protein belonging to the superfamily of mitochondrial. The secondary structure of IbUCP was mainly composed of α-helix and random coils, which was consistent with the prediction of tertiary structure. IbUCP did not contain transmembrane helix structure and signal peptide. IbUCP family members were divided into five branches, which were closely related to Ipomoea triloba and Ipomoea nil, and was conserved to a certain extent. Promoter prediction revealed that IbUCPs family genes not only has basic transcription elements, but also some signal response elements, transcription factor recognition binding elements, and stress response cis-acting elements. Expression analysis showed that the IbUCPs gene family were tissue-specific. The IbUCP4 expressed the highest in stem, and the other IbUCPs genes were found expressed the highest in tuberous root. IbUCP1, IbUCP4, and IbUCP5 responded to low temperature stress. All members of the IbUCPs gene family all responded to high salinity stress. Additionally, under drought stress, IbUCP1, IbUCP4, and IbUCP5 all responded and reached the peak at different time, respectively. Various stresses can regulate the expression of IbUCPs, and this study provides a theoretical basis for the function mining of UCP gene in sweetpotato and the selection of sweetpotato stress-resistant varieties. Objective To investigate the species composition of the main host animals of Leptospira and the infection of Leptospira in the central part of Fujian Province, so as to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of leptospirosis in this area. Methods The rodents were captured in Minhou, Changle and the other three cities and counties in Fujian, June 2020-May 2021. After identification of rodent species. the kidney tissues were collected. PCR method was used to detect the pathogen of Leptospira. At the same time, the pathogen was isolated and cultured by medium, and the genotype identification of isolated Leptospira strains was conducted by 16SrRNA sequence. Results A total of 150 rodents were captured in this study, and the main species were Rattus losea and Niviventer fulvescens. The two kinds of rodents accounted for 90.0% (135) of the total number of rodents captured and the rodent species were relatively single. Leptospira infection was detected in 36 rodents, with a total infection rate of 24.0%, including 22 Rattus losea, 11 Niviventer fulvescens and 3 Niviventer confucianus. There was no statistically significant difference in the infection rate between Rattus losea and Niviventer fulvescens (P>0.05). In central Fujian, the infection rate of Leptospira in the north was higher than that in the south, and the infection rate of Leptospira was the highest in Changle (52.9%). The Leptospira infection rate of rodents in Fuzhou area (38.6%) was significantly higher than that in Putian area (6.0%) (P<0.01). Five Leptospira strains were isolated and cultured, the pathogen isolation rate was 13.9%, including 3 pathogenic Leptospira and 2 non-pathogenic Leptospira. The genotype identification by 16SrRNA showed that 3 pathogenic Leptospira were 2 Leptospira borgpetersenii and 1 Leptospira interrogans, respectively. Both of the two nonpathogenic strains were Leptospira jelokensis. Conclusions There is pathogenic Leptospira infection in rodents in central Fujian area. It is reported that software configuration failure has become an important factor causing computer system anomalies and crashes. Configuration failures are caused by users' misconfigurations due to their inability to adequately obtain configuration constraint information. Because users lack software domain knowledge, configuration failures are difficult to avoid. Therefore, how to accurately analyze and extract the constraints of software configuration items to provide a basis for software configuration fault diagnosis and repair has important research significance. Specifically, enumeration is a common type of software systems, and the limitation of its value space often causes the system software configuration failure. This paper systematically investigates the enumeration type configuration constraints of six commonly used C/C++ open source software including Apache Httpd, Nginx, Postfix, MySQL, Redis, and PostgreSQL. Aiming at the problem that the value spaces of enumeration type configuration items are underreported in the previous methods, based on the program analysis method, an automatic configuration constraint extraction method for enumeration type configuration is designed and implemented. This method greatly improves the accuracy of the configuration constraint extraction of the above open source software, and improves the availability of the software configuration, and the diagnosibility of configuration failure. Natural gas hydrate has the advantages of large reserves, wide distribution and clean combustion. In recent years, it has attracted a wide spread attention. In order to realize the safe and efficient exploitation of natural gas hydrate, it is necessary to systematically evaluate the mechanical stability of hydrate-bearing sediments. In this paper, the methane hydrate-bearing sediments with 40% porosity were remoulded firstly, and a series of triaxial compression tests were performed based on the laboratory mechanics experimental equipment under the conditions of different confining pressures. The strength and deformation characteristics of the sediments during hydrate dissociation were obtained, and the corresponding stress-strain curves were drawn. The results showed that the decomposition of natural gas hydrate can lead to the reduction of the sediments strength. In addition, based on the experimental data and the Duncan-Chang constitutive model, considering the influence of confining pressure and the dissociation time, a constitutive model of the sediment samples in the process of decomposition was constructed. This model could well simulate the stress-strain relationship of the sediments during the hydrate dissociation, providing the theoretical references to evaluate the stability of gas hydrate reservoirs. We focus on detecting the efficiency of extreme learning machine (ELM) on action recognition. To overcome the problems of computational complexity and time consumption of online learning and action classification, we propose a new action recognition algorithm (ELM-Cholesky). Firstly, a method based on Cholesky decomposition to seek the calculation of ELM is introduced into the algorithm. Secondly, according to the characteristics of kernel function matrix updates during online learning, we utilize the partitioned Cholesky decomposition algorithm for online solution to ELM, which realizes online updating of the triangular factor matrix. Finally, we can obtain a new online learning algorithm, called ELM-Cholesky. The new algorithm can make full use of historical training data, reduce the complexity of calculation, and improve action identification accuracy. Aiming at realizing the optimization of clamping mechanism of the climb pipe robot, using three dimensional modeling software SolidWorks climb pipe robot virtual prototype was established, the robot motion simulation of clamping mechanism was conducted by using dynamic analysis software ADAMS,through the ADAMS virtual prototype technology, the contact between the wheel and the pipe was tested, the size of each structure was optimized, the optimal design of clamping mechanism was completed, the action of the simulation curve and optimizing the path curve of the clamping mechanism was given, the optimal results of the data was gained. The results indicate that when thrust of rod 7 is 65. 041 N, the robot can be moved stability, so it is able to accurately select motor parameters and it is set the stage for the actual product to verify in the future. A pedestrian detection method is proposed based on the fusion of HSV color space feature and LBP feature. HSV feature is global which can simply describe the global distribution of colors in an image while LBP feature is a good description of the spatial structure of a local image, therefore the proposed method takes both the global features and the local features into account, which has the advantages of low dimension and quick computing speed. In Matlab, Adaboost classifier is used to carry out the experiments. Results show that, compared with the classic Gradient Direction Histogram (HOG) feature, LBP feature, Pyramid Histogram of Oriented Gradients (PHOG) feature and HOG-LBP feature, the proposed method is of high recognition rate. In the past few decades, many researchers have made in-depth discussions on the relationship between diversification and firm value. However, no unanimous conclusion has been reached among existing researchers. Meanwhile, few researchers have taken tourism firms as their study object. Therefore, the paper chooses tourism firms with "natural" diversified operative motives as study object. We try to discuss their endogenous operation and its impact on firm value by scientifically measuring their diversified operation from endogenous perspective in order to provide guidance for diversified development of China's tourism firms. The paper, through strict data screening and choosing panel data materials from 15 listed tourism companies of Chinese mainland from 2006 ~ 2009, makes an empirical analysis by adopting STATA software and using panel regression and the two-stage least-square method based on the income to measure diversified operation and ROA to measure firm value. The results indicate that asset scale of enterprises, growth of companies, firm value and concentration of stock ownership have significant positive impact on diversified operation of tourism listed companies, which proves the endogenous aspect of diversified operation. Under exogenous perspective, diversified operation of tourism listed companies has significant positive correlation with firm value, existing around 3% diversified premium effect. In line with the trend towards transferring labor force from rural areas to cities, it is increasingly important to enhance the training of labor skills, which relies on strengthening the migrant workers' willingness to receive training. With the aid of Logistic Model, we analyzed the data collected from a survey of the migrant workers in Jiangsu province. Our result shows that migrant workers' willingness to receive training is greatly influenced by such factors as their ages, their views on the effect of training, their experience of training, the number of their children under the age of six, and the qualification requirements. Our government should increase the intensity of training new workers from rural areas, effectively improve the quality of training, and combine training with professional certification licensing. Western urban sociology, originating from modern European industrial revolution and the process of urbanization, has witnessed paradigm shifts in line with the development of western urbanization. In America, it once developed into a paradigm based on human ecology, which was proposed and upheld by the Chicago School. Through criticizing the Chicago School, the school of New Urban Sociology, characterized by its proposal of space justice and social stratification movement, got established. Then along with the emergence of Fordist cities, the development of service economy caused by outsourcing production, and the process of globalization, the sociological studies on cities have shifted from "local" to "global", hence the establishment of the Los Angles School, which focuses on the global urban space and the world city. A survey of the paradigm shifts in western urban sociology reveals that the further development of western urban sociology will be determined by the characteristics of cities acquired in the process of urbanization. The article examines the vital role of interferon-gamma in protecting pigs from viral infection in Heilongjiang, China. To evaluate its effectiveness, researchers assessed the use of polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) in 481 in different breeds of pigs, including White, Landrace and Duroc. They also get genotypes and immunity traits by least square analysis and found that IgG with AA genetype is higher than AA and BB locus.

To study the seasonal dynamics of macrozoobenthos community in Xiangxi River, the individuals of macrozoobenthos in the River were quantitatively monitored. A total of 197 taxa belonging to 6 class and 68 families were collected, among which, Baetis spp., Epeorus spp., and Nemoura spp. were the dominant groups, and their compositions varied with seasons. The macrozoobenthos community was most complicated in winter, followed by in spring and autumn, and the simplest in summer. Gather-collector was the main component of functional feeding groups in Xiangxi River system, followed by scraper, predator, and filter-collector, while shredder only accounted for a small part. Canonical correspondence analysis showed that the factors affecting the macrozoobenthos community were dissimilar among seasons. In summer and autumn, nutrients had greater effects; and in all seasons, water depth had definite effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To analyze the relationship between the change of thyroid ultrasonic echo and serum TSH level in patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Methods The clinical data of 44 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into grid echo group and uneven distribution of the echo group according to the change of ultrasonic echo using color Doppler ultrasonography, and the difference in TSH level between two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The serum TSH level in grid echo group was higher than that in uneven distribution group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion The relationship between the appearance of the thyroiditis echo and the serum TSH could reflect the change of Hashimoto's thyroiditis in different period and degree of immune pathology. The application of thyroid color Doppler ultrasound technique has clinic value in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To establish a stable animal model for the study of pathological regeneration of intrauterine adhesions （IUAs）. Methods Thirty female SD rats were randomly divided into the experimental （n=15） and control groups （n=15）. In the experimental group, a self-made 2-mm diameter curette was utilized to create mild and severe mechanical injury to the left and right endometrium of estrous rats and then divided into the mild and severe mechanical injury groups, respectively. In the control group, the rats were not treated with endometrial injury after open surgery, which were used as sham surgery controls. At 0 h, 24 h, 72 h, 5 d, and 7 d after surgery, bilateral uteruses were removed from 3 rats in each group and prepared for quick frozen sections for MHCⅡ and BrdU immunohistochemical staining. The endometrial glands of different rats were observed at postoperative 7 d, and the inflammatory reaction of endometrial tissues and the changes of endometrial tissue proliferation and repair were also observed in rats with different degrees of mechanical injury at different time points after surgery. Results In the mild mechanical injury group, a small amount of red-stained BrdU-containing cells and blue-stained MHCⅡ cells were seen at 7 d after surgery, and the endometrium was basically repaired, while mild inflammatory reaction occurred. In the severe mechanical injury group, no endometrial glands or very few glands were detected, no obvious red-stained BrdU-containing cells were seen, a small quantity of blue-stained MHCⅡ cells, mild inflammatory reaction, endometrial fibrosis, local lumen closure and adhesion were observed at postoperative 7 d. Compared with the control group, the number of endometrial glands in the rat uterine cavity was decreased along with the increase in the degree of mechanical endometrial injury at 7 d after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant （P < 0.001）. Conclusions The rat model of IUAs can be successfully established by incision and suture of endometrial mechanical injury method. After mild mechanical injury, the endometrium of rats can regenerate and achieve basic repair. Nevertheless, the endometrial tissues cannot achieve basic repair after severe mechanical injury. In addition, tissue fibrosis occurs, leading to IUAs.

In view of problems that existing mine positioning equipment embedded program upgrade method needs to establish physical connection and there’s no programmable wireless upgrade protocol for small embedded devices, a wireless software upgrade method for mine positioning equipments was proposed. The method adopts wireless broadcast transmission mode and one-to-many network mode to implement batch wireless IAP (In-Application Programming) upgrade of mine positioning device, thereby improving convenience and efficiency of upgrade. The experiment results show that the overall upgrade success rate of the method is positively correlated with distance, and the success rate is high within 10 m. The method provides an effective way for upgrading of a large number of mine positioning equipments.

Objective: To study and compare the clinical effects of cervical pessary and progesterone for preventing preterm birth in singleton pregnant women with a short cervical length (CL)., Methods: This study was a prospective cohort study. A total of 148 pregnant women with CL≤25 mm, as determined by ultrasound examination performed before 28 weeks of pregnancy, were included in the study. All subjects were admitted to West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University between August 2020 and December 2022. According to their treatment plans, the pregnant women were divided into a cervical pessary group ( n =55) and a progesterone group ( n =93). Spontaneous preterm birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy was defined as the main outcome index. Preterm birth (abortion) or spontaneous preterm birth (abortion) before 37, 34, 32, 30, and 28 weeks of pregnancy, mean extended gestational age, neonatal morbidity, and neonatal mortality were the secondary outcome indicators. The pregnancy outcomes and the neonatal outcomes of the two groups were compared and statistically analyzed., Results: There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of preterm birth (including iatrogenic preterm birth, spontaneous preterm birth, and abortion) before 37, 34, 32, 30, and 28 weeks between the cervical pessary group and the progesterone group. When iatrogenic preterm birth was excluded, the incidence of spontaneous preterm birth before 37 weeks was lower in the cervical pessary group (23.6%) than that in the progesterone group (41.9%), with the difference between the two groups being statistically significant ( P =0.024). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of spontaneous preterm birth (including miscarriage) before 34, 32, 30, and 28 weeks. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of neonatal morbidity, the rate of transfer to the neonatal care unit after birth, and the neonatal mortality rate between the two groups. The clinical advantage staging and underlying mechanisms of Wangbi Tablets against knee osteoarthritis(KOA) were studied based on the &quot;disease-formula&quot; interaction network. Firstly, the clinical symptoms and related genes corresponding to Wangbi Tablets and KOA in the acute, remission, and recovery phases were collected from clinical guidelines/consensus and SoFDA database, and the putative targets of Wangbi Tablets were obtained from ETCM 2.0. Then, Jaccard similarity and cosine similarity were employed to assess the similarities of clinical symptoms, genes, and enriched pathways between Wangbi Tablets and KOA in different phases. The &quot;disease-formula&quot; interaction network of the drug targets and disease genes was constructed, and the key targets were screened by topological feature calculation. KEGG and Reactome database were used for the functional enrichment of the key targets, on the basis of which the functional characteristics of Wangbi Tablets against KOA in the acute, remission, and recovery phases were predicted. Finally, the SW1353 cells exposed to lipopolysaccharide were used to decipher the mechanism of Wangbi Tablets against KOA. The results showed that 92/3 921, 138/3 708, 139/3 800, and 196/3 946 clinical symptoms and the related genes corresponded to KOA in the acute, remission, and recovery phases and Wangbi Tablets were collected from SoFDA, and 260 putative targets of Wangbi Tablets were obtained from ETCM 2.0. Wangbi Tablets had highest similarity of clinical symptoms, genes, and enriched pathways with KOA in the remission phase and the secondary highest similarity with KOA in the recovery phase. The key targets of Wangbi Tablets mainly participated in the regulation of immunity-inflammation imbalance and exerted pain-relieving and bone-protecting effects to alleviate symptoms such as knee joint pain, joint swelling, soreness, fatigue, and dysfunction. Intriguingly, the key targets of Wangbi Tablets possessed antioxidant effects during KOA in the acute and remission phases, while they maintained material and energy metabolism homeostasis and protected vessels during KOA in the recovery phase. The cell experiment indicated that Wangbi Tablets down-regulated the expression of interleukin(IL)-6, IL-1β, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax)/B-cell lymphoma 2(Bcl-2) via regulating the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)-protein kinase B(Akt) signaling pathway. The findings lay a theoretical foundation for further clarifying the clinical advantage stage and precise clinical application of Wangbi Tablets in treating KOA.

Urban wetland parks are an important practice for urban wetland protection and utilization due to the vast ecosystem service value. As emerging contaminants, antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are great attractions for environmental research and public concerns. Based on high-throughput qPCR and high-throughput amplicon sequencing techniques, we investigated the occurrence, abundance, and distribution profiles of antibiotic resistance genes in the aquatic environment of Xiamen urban wetland parks (five sites). The influencing factors and driving mechanisms of antibiotic resistance genes were deciphered on the basis of microbial community structure and water quality. Diverse and abundant ARGs were observed and coexisted in urban wet parks. A total of 217 ARGs were detected in the water body of urban wetland parks, with an abundance up to 6.48×10 9 copies·L -1 . Urban wetland parks were important hotspots and repositories of the antibiotic resistome. A total of nine bacterial genera, including Marivivens , NS5&#95;marine&#95;group , and Planktomarina, were identified as the potential carriers of diverse resistance genes (41 ARGs). The microbial communities could alone explain 51% of alterations in the antibiotic resistome in the aquatic environment of the urban wetland parks. Therefore, the microbial community was the key driving force for the occurrence and evolution of ARGs in urban wetland parks. Based on the results, with the presence of ARGs and antibiotic resistance bacteria, it is suggested that the water environments of urban wetland parks have potential risks of water ecological security and human health, and it is necessary to further enhance the research and control of microbial contaminants in the aquatic environment of urban wetland parks.

The oasis agro-ecosystem is a complex ecosystem with intensive human activities in arid areas. Microbial antibiotic resistance is posing threats to human health and ecological balance. It is of great importance to investigate the diversity, distribution profiles, and driving factors of soil antibiotic resistance genes under different land use patterns in a desert-oasis continuum, especially for assessing soil environmental and human health risks in arid regions. In this study, high throughput sequencing combined with high throughput quantitative PCR were used to investigate the microbial community structure and patterns of antibiotic resistance genes in a desert-oasis continuum, aiming to explore the distribution characteristics and driving mechanisms of soil resistance genes. The results showed that the diversity and abundance of antibiotic resistance increased significantly from the edge of desert to the central oasis, along with Dest, Cotn, Maiz, Reed, and Sedt, consecutively, implying that farmland soil was an important reservoir of resistance genes, which was closely related to land use and land cover change. Soil microbial communities were significantly correlated with antibiotic resistance genes. Thiobacillus, Pontibacter, Nocardioides, Salinimicrobium, Solirubrobacter , and Streptomyces were important potential hosts of various resistance genes. The patterns of antibiotic resistance genes were shaped by heavy metal elements, MGEs, and microbial communities in arid soil, which accumulatively accounted for 70% of the variations in resistance genes alone or together and therefore drove the occurrence, enrichment, and evolution of resistance genes in agricultural soil of the desert-oasis continuum.

Phosphomannomutase 2 deficiency is the most common form of N-glycosylation disorders and is also known as phosphomannomutase 2-congenital disorder of glycosylation (PMM2-CDG). It is an autosomal recessive disease with multi-system involvements and is caused by mutations in the PMM2 gene (OMIM: 601785), with varying severities in individuals. At present, there is still no specific therapy for PMM2-CDG, and early identification, early diagnosis, and early treatment can effectively prolong the life span of pediatric patients. This article reviews the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of PMM2-CDG.
