Objective To explore the value of adenosine 99 m Tc-MIBI myocardial perfusion imaging in the assessment of ischemic myocardial damage for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methods 122 CKD patients with non-acute coronary syndrome were collected and performed adenosine 99 m Tc-MIBI myocardial perfusion imaging examination. The serum creatinine, cTnI, CK-MB and MYO were detected. The adenosine stress test results in patients with different stages of CKD were analyzed and compared with the levels of cardiac troponin I. Results 31.1% patients showed positive results in adenosine stress test, of which patients with myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction accounted for 21.3% and 9.8%, respectively. There were 84% of patients with stages CKD4 and CKD5 in all positive cases. There were significant differences in CTnI or CK-MB between patients with abnormal myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction (P< 0.001). Conclusions The prevalence of coronary artery disease increases significantly in CKD patients, and adenosine 99 mTc-MIBI myocardial perfusion imaging is an effective method for assessing ischemic myocardial injury in CKD patients. The increase of CTnI is closely related to the positive results of adenosine stress myocardial perfusion imaging, and CTnI is a predictor of cardiovascular events. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective This study was aimed to investigate CyPA concentration levels in the peripheral blood in normal persons and patients with chronic renal failure (CRF), in order to determine whether CyPA is associated with CRF and its possible mechanism. Methods 50 CRF patients and 50 normal persons were selected. The level of CyPA in the peripheral blood. AngII, TNF, IL-6, IL-1, and monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP-1) of the normal persons were measured by ELISA. And these indicators of patients with CRF were also measured before and after treatment with irbesartan. The differences between the two groups were compared, the correlation between CyPA and CRF, and the relevance of CyPA with AngII, TNF, IL-6, IL-1 and MCP-1 were analyzed. Results (1) The levels of CyPA in peripheral blood of CRF group were higher than those in control group, whether before or after treatment. There were significant differences in the levels of CyPA, AngII, TNF, IL-6,IL-1 and MCP-1 between the CRF group and the control group (< 0.01). The results of Spearman analysis showed that there were correlations between CyPA and the levels of AngII, TNFα, IL-, IL-1α and MCP-1 in the control group and the CRF group before and after treatment with irbesartan. Conclusion CyPA might played the synergistic effect with AngII and increased the levels of inflammatory cytokines, which revealed that CyPA may act as an inflammatory cell medium, promote inflammatory reaction in CRF patients, increase glomerular, renal tubularand and interstitial injury. CyPA may be a new marker of inflammation in CRF. Inflammation is one of the important causes which speed up the development of CRF. The crack isolating theory was proposed. On the basis of the crack isolating theory and the near crack line analysis method, the elasticplastic stress field near the crack line was analyzed, the laws that the length of the plastic zone along the crack line is varied with external loads were established by the matching condition of the elastic- plastic fields on the boundary, and the strength properties of rock masses were determined. The solution is a function of the geometry of the crack array. The results show that the strength of rock masses depends on the crack spacing, orientation of the cracks, the crack interface friction coefficient and the crack half-length. An extremly accurate and efficient numerical method for solving the problem was presented, which is mainly by means of the crack isolating analysis technique, stress superposition principle ,the Leg endre polynomial expansion of the pseudo traction as well as the segmental average collocation technique. The singular equations of the Cauchy type and Fredholm integral equations of the first type were deduced. In the process of dealing with the superposition of infinite number of kinked cracks, the crack boundary conditions are satisfied. Many complex computing examples were given, and for some typical examples, numerical results were compared with the analytic solutions and the numerical solutions obtained by a boundary element method. The numerical results show that the stress intensity factors depend on the crack configuration, and on the geometrical and physical parameters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To investigate gene mutation types of thalassemia in the population of this area and the relationship between hematological phenotype and age in β-thalassemia., Methods: 1 351 suspected cases of thalassemia were detected in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College from June 2017 to June 2021. PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization(PCR-RDB) technique was used to detect the common α and β thalassemia gene types, then the data of MCV, MCH, MCHC and Hb of confirmed cases were collected. The heterozygotes of β-thalassemia were divided into 0-18 year group, 19-50 year group and >50 year group according to age, and the differences of hematological phenotypes among different groups were compared., Results: Among the detected 1 351 samples， 523(38.71%) cases were diagnosed as thalassemia, 13 genotypes were detected in 260 cases (19.25%) with α-thalassemia; and 12 genotypes were detected in 252 cases (18.65%) with β-thalassemia; 9 genotypes were detected in 11 cases with αβ thalassemia. It was found that MCV and MCH were increased significantly in 0-18 year group, 19-50 year group and >50 year group, MCHC was highest in 0-18 year group, and Hb was the lowest in the >50 year group, and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）., Conclusion: In this area, -- SEA /αα was the major genotype of α-thalassemia, and CD41-42 /N and IVS-II-654/N were the major genotypes of β-thalassemia. Morever, MCV and MCH were the lowest in the 0-18 year old group and the highest in the >50 years old group in heterozygotes of β-thalassemia. The influence of age on hematological parameters in the primary screening of thalassemia provides a certain reference value in clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective: To analyze the genotype characteristics of α- and β-thalassemia and the diagnostic value of hematological indexes in pregnant women in Xindu District of Chengdu., Methods: The blood routine parameters(MCV) <80 fl and (or) (MCH) <27 pg and hemoglobin electrophoresis were used to screen the pregnant women, PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization(PCR-RDB) technique was used to detect the common α- and β-thalassemia gene types in the primary screening positive population. The husbands of the diagnosed pregnant women were recalled for gene testing, and the highly suspected patients were checked by gene sequencing., Results: Among the 7 049 pregnant women, 1 740(24.68%) cases were positive for primary screening. 180 patients were diagnosed as thalassemia gene positive, among them, 94 cases (52.22%) of α-thalassemia were detected and six genotypes were found, in which -- SEA /αα genotype was the highest (58 cases, 61.70%); 82 cases (45.56%) of β-thalassemia were detected and ten genotypes were found while CD41-42/N and CD17/N genotypes were the most common; there were 4 cases(2.22%) with α combined with β-thalassemia. Through clinical follow-up survey, there were 4 couples with the same type of thalassemia, one of them was induced labor after diagnosis of hemoglobin H disease. Receiver operating curve (ROC curve) was used to analyze the diagnostic value of hematological parameters in thalassemia positive pregnant women. The results showed that AUC(HBA 2 )SEA /αα, CD41-42/N, CD17/N. The blood routine indicators (HBA 2 、RDW-SD、MCHC、MCH、MCV) have high diagnostic value for screening of thalassemia.

To evaluate the pollution by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the surface soil of the core urban area of Lanzhou, 62 topsoil samples were collected from the area. The soil samples were analyzed for the content of 16 priority PAHs, using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Descriptive statistical methods were used to characterize contamination by PAHs. An absolute principal component analysis-multiple linear regression (APCS-MLR) model was applied to determine the sources of PAHs in the soil samples, and the accuracy of the model results was verified. Finally, the main influence regions of each source were determined with a geo-statistical method. The results showed that the contents of Σ 16 PAHs in the surface soils of Lanzhou ranged from 1069 to 7377 μg ·kg -1 , with an average of 2423 μg ·kg -1 . High molecular weight PAHs (4-6 rings) were dominant, accounting for 72.81% of the Σ 16 PAHs. Verification results of the APCS-MLR model showed that the measured values were in good correspondence with the predicted values, which indicated that the model had good applicability for source apportionment of soil PAHs in the study area. The main sources of PAHs in Lanzhou were traffic emissions (35.42%), petroleum emissions (29.88%), and a mixture of coal and biomass combustion (33.91%). The sources were greatly affected by human activities, and high values were mainly distributed in traffic-intensive and industrial areas. The results indicated that the sources of soil PAHs were complex and influenced by anthropogenic activities in the study area. Stringent control measures should be placed on the sources and areas of influence that contribute to soil PAHs to reduce the emissions and the level of soil pollution resulting from PAHs.

Objective: To compare the difference in the clinical efficacy on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type (CSA) treated with thermosensitive moxibustion at different dosages., Methods: Sixty cases of CSA were randomized into a saturated moxa dosage group and a regular moxa dosage group, 30 cases in each one. The thermosensitive moxibustion was adopted in the two groups. The mild suspended moxibustion was applied at two acupoints with the strongest thermosensitization. In the saturated moxa dosage group, the moxibustion time was determined by the disappearance of thermosensitization. In the regular moxa dosage group, 15 min was required on each acupoint. The treatment was given twice a day for first 4 days in the two groups. Since the 5th day, the treatment was given once a day, continuously for 10 times, and totally 14 days were required. The score of symptoms and function and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment as well as 6-month follow-up after treatment., Results: The curative and effective rate was 56.7% (17/30) after treatment and 60.0% (18/30) in 6-month follow-up after treatment in the saturated moxa dosage group, which were superior to 26.7% (8/30) and 30.0% (9/30) in the regular moxa dosage group respectively (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). The scores of clinical symptoms and function after treatment and in follow-up were improved apparently as compared with those before treatment in both groups (all P < 0.01). The scores of clinical symptoms and function after treatment and in follow-up in the saturated moxa dosage group were increased much more apparently than those in the regular moxa dosage group (after treatment: 22.32 +/- 4.64 vs 17.43 +/- 3.21; in follow-up: 23.01 +/- 4.76 vs 18.32 +/- 2.13, both P < 0.01)., Conclusion: The thermosensitization moxibustion of saturated dosage achieves the superior short-term and long-term efficacies in the treatment of CSA as compared with the regular moxibustion dosage.

Quoted geochemical susceptivity index and isosensitive line on geochemical susceptivity, analyzed the data of underground rivers of Xueyu Cave in Chongqing from September 2010 to August 2011, we found that the chemical composition of the underground river was controlled by the bedrock, due to the composition of high concentration of Ca2+ and low concentration of Mg2+. Owing to the effects of the monsoon, water chemistry was different between drought season and rainy season: the value of [Mg2+]/[Ca2+] was 0.018-0.051 in the rainy season, but in dry season the value was 0.038-0.064. The value of [HCO3(-)]/[SO4(2-)] was 4.86-36.62 in the rainy season, and 6.23-46.67 in the dry season. The seasonal change of Karstification made Ca2+ and HCO3(-) become the most sensitive ion. As a result of the special hydrogeological structure in Karat area, rain, surface water and groundwater transformed rapidly, which caused the underground river was sensitive to agricultural activities, especially for Cl- and NO3(-), and their sensitive indices were 0.286 and 0.022 respectively. The influence of tourism activities on the underground river was less than the management. The management work of ecological system should be strengthen in the recharge area, thus the largest economic and environmental benefits in the Karst area could be achieved.

The natural rainwater and stormwater runoff samples from three underlying surfaces (rooftop, campus road and ring road) were sampled and analyzed from July to October, 2010 in Beijing. Eight rainfall events were collected totally and thirteen water quality parameters were measured in each event. Grey relationship analysis and principal component analysis were applied to assess composite water quality and identify the main pollution sources of stormwater runoff. The results show that the composite water quality of ring road runoff is mostly polluted, and then is rooftop runoff, campus road runoff and rainwater, respectively. The composite water quality of ring road runoff is inferior to V class of surface water, while rooftop runoff, campus road runoff and rainwater are in II class of surface water. The mean concentration of TN and NH4(+)-N in rainwater and runoff is 5.49-11.75 mg x L(-1) and 2.90-5.67 mg x L(-1), respectively, indicating that rainwater and runoff are polluted by nitrogen (N). Two potential pollution sources are identified in ring road runoff: (1) P, SS and organic pollutant are possibly related to debris which is from vehicle tyre and material of ring road; (2) N and dissolved metal have relations with automobile exhaust emissions and bulk deposition.

Using continuous two wavelength near-infrared technology to detect the variation in the consistency of oxygen hemoglobin in the muscle and the sports heart rate wireless real time collection technology, we devised the real time muscle tissue oxygenation and instantaneous heart rate experiment scheme and implemented it for the process of the 100 m run with two parameters given simultaneously. The experiment shows that the concentration of the oxygen hemoglobin in the muscle tissue continues decreasing after the end of the 100 m run, and the time interval between the moment when the concentration of the oxygen hemoglobin attains the minimum value and the moment when the athletes finish the 100 m run is (6.65 +/- 1.10) sec; while the heart rate continues increasing after the end of the 100 m run, and the time interval between the moment when the heart rate attains the maximum value and the moment when the athletes finish the 100 m run is (8.00 +/- 1.57) sec. The results show that the two wavelength near-infrared tissue oxygenation detection technology and the sports heart rate real time collection equipment can accurately measure the sports tissue oxygenation and the heart rate in the extreme intensity sport, and reveal the process of muscle oxygen transportation and consumption and its dynamic character with the heart rate in the extreme intensity sport.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in nude mice bearing human esophageal cancer cell line Eca-109 xenografts., Methods: A nude mouse model bearing human esophageal carcinoma was established by subcutaneous transplantation of Eca-109 cells. The mice were then randomized into 4 groups, namely hematoporphyrin derivative (HpD)-PDT group (given HpD and laser irradiation), exclusive laser irradiation group, exclusive HpD group and blank control group. In HpD-PDT group, the mice were exposed to irradiation at the light energy density of 120 Jsol;cm(2) delivered via a DIOMED 630 PDT system 24 h after intraperitoneal HpD injection, and the mice in exclusive laser irradiation group received only laser irradiation. Three days later, all the nude mice were sacrificed for determination of malondialdehyde (MDA) production, immunohistochemistry for caspase-3 protein and HE staining of the tumor tissue., Results: The MDA level was significantly higher in HpD-PDT group than in the other 3 groups (P<0.01), and comparable between the latter 3 groups. Expression of caspase-3 protein was similar between HpD-PDT group and the blank control group (P>0.05). Under light microscope, HE staining visualized massive tissue necrosis in HpD-PDT group with homogeneous red staining., Conclusion: In human esophageal carcinoma xenografts in nude mice, HpD-PDT generates singlet oxygen to result in direct tumor cell damage and cause MDA production. Caspase-3 may not be activated in the apoptotic pathway, suggesting that this pathway may not be caspase-3-dependent.

Based on different ecological zone of Taihu Lake, alkaline phosphatase activity (APA), the kinetic parameters and the chemical parameters in water column from different zone of Taihu Lake were monitored, and the spatial distribution characteristics and the effects of environmental factors on the values of APA, Vmax and Km were studied. The results showed that the values of APA, Vmax and Km in water column from Taihu Lake had a spatial heterogeneous distribution. The spatial distribution characteristic of APA values was the same as that of Vmax, ones in water from different zones of Taihu Lake, namely, the maximal values of APA (9.43 +/- 5.30) nmol x (L x min)(-1) and Vmax (13.70 +/- 7.42) nmol x (L x min)(-1) occurred in water from estuary zone in western bank of Taihu Lake. The value distribution of APA and Vmax in other zone of Taihu Lake followed as: the central zone of Taihu Lake > the grass type zone of Taihu Lake > the Meiliang Bay zone of Taihu Lake > the Zhushan Bay zone of Taihu Lake > the Gonghu Bay zone of Taihu Lake. The value of Km from the grass type zone of Taihu Lake was the highest (20.50 +/- 11.30) micromol x L(-1) , and the one from estuary zone in western bank of Taihu Lake was the lowest (9.17 +/- 3.46) micromol x L(-1) The value of kinetic parameter Vmax was significantly positively correlated with the values of pH, total phosphorus (TP) and the chlorophyll a (Chla), with r(pH) = 0.6512** (p < 0.01), r(TP) = 0.4885** (p < 0.01) and r(Chla) = 0.7656** (p < 0.01), respectively. However, the effects of hydro-temperature, dissolved total phosphorus (DTP) and orthophosphorus (PO4(3-) -P) on Vmax values were negligible. There was no significant influence of the hydro-temperature, pH, DTP, PO4(3-)-P and Chla concentrations on the Km values, nevertheless significant negative relationship between the Km value and TP content was found with r = -0.3834* (p = 0.048).

Objective: To investigate the influence of high frequency stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus on the levels of amino acids neurotransmitters in striatum of hemi-parkinsonian monkeys., Methods: Two rhesus monkeys were successfully prepared for the subsequent microdialysis sessions. Collecting the dialysate before turning on the pulse generator, and collecting at 1 week, 1, 8 and 12 months after high frequency stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus. The level of Glu, GABA and Tau were determined by high performance liquid chromatography and fluorometric detection (HPLC-FD)., Results: After high frequency stimulation (HFS), PD symptoms of monkeys significantly improved. The levels of Glu in putamen and caudate nucleus of electrodes side at 1 week, 1, 8 and 12 months were increased significantly. The levels of GABA in putamen and caudate nucleus of electrodes side at 1 week, 1 month increased significantly compared with before turning on the pulse generator while decreased at 8, 12 months. The level of Tau in putamen and caudate nucleus increased significantly., Conclusion: Long-term STN HFS can increase the level of glutamate and taurine, while decrease the level of GABA in putamen and caudate nucleus of electrodes side. It improves symptoms of hemi-parkinsonian rhesus monkey significantly.

Objective: To evaluate the tumor cell-killing effect of photodynamic therapy against human esophageal cancer cells in vitro and identify the main factors affecting the effect., Methods: Human esophageal cancer Eca-109 cells were incubated for 24 h in vitro with hematoporphyrin derivative (HpD) and Photofrin at different concentrations prior to exposure to a light energy density of 15 J/cm(2) delivered from a DIOMED 630 PDT system. The cell killing effect was also evaluated for different HpD concentrations combined with 3 light energy densities (10, 30, and 50 J/cm(2)), respectively. The cell survival rate was measured using MTT assay, and fluorescence spectrometry was used to detect the intracellular photosensitizer fluorescence of the tumor cells after incubation with HpD for 4 h., Results: The cell survival rate after incubation with the two photosensitizers at different concentrations were significantly different, and under the 3 different light energy densities, incubation of the cells with different HpD concentrations also resulted in significantly different cell survival rates (P<0.05). At the 4 low photosensitizer concentrations and with different light energy densities, the cell survival rates were similar (P>0.05), but the 4 higher photosensitizer concentrations resulted in significant difference in the cells survival (P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that the intracellular photosensitizer concentration was positively correlated to the photosensitizer concentrations in cell incubation (r=0.997)., Conclusion: When the light source remains constant, the light energy density, the kinds of photosensitizers and their concentrations are the main factors affecting the Eca-109 cell-killing effect of PDT.

Unlabelled: Study on the effect of a community-based early education and service program regarding intelligence, Objective: To assess the effect on a community-based early education and service programs regarding the development of infants' intelligence., Methods: A community-based intervention study was carried out among 359 infants and their families. Base-line survey were carried out when infants reached their one month, where after infants and their families in the intervention group received instructions and services focused on baby fostering and intelligence development. When the infants reached their six-months and twelve-months of age, their families were informed to complete the follow-up surveys, using both questionnaire investigation and testing the infants' intelligence quotients. The infants' intelligence quotients were measured by Development Screening Test for children under six. By comparing intelligence quotients of infants in two study groups in the follow-up surveys, this paper evaluated the impacts of community intervention on the infants' intelligence development., Results: During two follow-ups, no statistical difference had been detected between the two groups of infants in term of gender or delivery process. Baseline data showed that infants' mental index (MI) scored 98.26 in the intervention group and 101.79 in the control one, and development quotient (DQ) scored 94.50 and 99.36 in respective groups. Infants' MI score increased 6.07 and 8.86 at the six-month and twelve-month follow-up periods respectively in the intervention group compared during the baseline, higher than the MI increments of the control group at the two follow-up periods (-2.46 and 1.05 respectively). DQ score of infants in the intervention group increased 12.94 and 11.24 respectively in the two follow-up surveys, which were also higher than increments in the control group (-0.18 and 0.34). The group x time effect(interaction effect) of MI and DQ in six-month and twelve-month follow-ups were both significantly higher than that of the baseline level., Conclusion: The community-based early education and service programs could effectively improve the infants' intelligence.

Objective: To investigate biological effect of hematoporphyrin derivative (HpD) photodynamic therapy (PDT) on in vitro cultured nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) cell lines CNE2 and C666-1., Methods: CNE2 and C666-1 cells cultured in vitro were incubated in a medium containing HpD at different concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 microg/ml) for 4 h followed by exposure to different light doses (2, 5, 10, and 20 J/cm2) using a diode laser at 630 nm with power density of 20 mW/cm2. After 24 h of incubation with HpD-PDT, the survival rate of CNE2 and C666-1 cells were analyzed by MTT assay., Results: HpD-PDT produced effective killing of CNE2 and C666-1 cells cultured in vitro, and the killing effects were positively correlated with HpD concentration and the irradiation dose. Exposure of CNE2 and C666-1 cells to irradiation dose of 20 J/cm2 resulted in the IC50 of 0.7 and 1.2 microg/ml, respectively (P<0.01). With the same HpD concentration and irradiation dose, the survival rate of C666-1 cells, however, was significantly higher than that of CNE2 cells (P<0.05)., Conclusion: HpD-PDT may result in effective killing of CNE2 and C666-1 cells cultured in vitro, although C666-1 cells are less sensitive to HpD-PDT than CNE2 cells.

Objective: To explore the relationship between nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate (NSCL/P) and genetic polymorphism of MTHFR C677T and A1298C in Chinese population., Methods: Case-control study design was employed. MTHFR genotypes were determined by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism techniques (PCR-RFLP)., Results: As to MTHFR C677T, 48 heterozygous parents with an affected child were analyzed through case-parental control study using TDT (chi2 = 0. 02, P > 0.05). The genotype frequency and allele frequency of 76 NSCL/P cases and 60 controls were analyzed through case-control study (chi2 = 9.91, P < 0.05). As to MTHFR A1298C, 27 heterozygous parents with an affected child were analyzed through case-parental control study using TDT (chi2 = 4.00, P < 0.05). The genotype frequency and allele frequency of 76 NSCL/P cases and 60 controls were analyzed through case-control study (chi2 = 4.42, P < 0.05)., Conclusions: The genetic polymorphism of MTHFR C677T is associated with the development of NSCL/P, and the genetic polymorphism of MTHFR A1298C is a risk factor for NSCL/P in the Chinese population.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and short-term outcome of endovascular stent-assisted angioplasty for the treatment of intracranial arterial stenosis., Methods: Angioplasty and stent placement were administered to treat 46 patients with lesions of atherosclerotic intracranial stenosis, including 16 lesions of basilar artery, 12 of vertebral artery, 13 of internal carotid artery and 9 of middle cerebral artery., Results: Technical success was achieved in 49 of 50 vessels (98%), with no procedure-related death or cerebral ischemic attack. Extracranial internal carotid artery dissection occurred in 1 patient and was successfully treated with a self-expand stent. One patient had subarachnoid hemorrhage because of perforation by microwire with no permanent neurologic deficit, and another 2 patients had groin hematoma. Angiographic examination immediately after stenting revealed that the stenosis rate was significantly reduced (72.4% +/- 12.3% vs 10.6% +/- 7.8%). There was no cerebral ischemic attack in the 37 patients who were clinically followed up (6 - 18 months, mean of 8.5 months)., Conclusion: Angioplasty and stenting for the treatment of intracranial stenosis is safe and feasible, and it may be favorable for decreasing the incidence of ischemic attack.

Objective: To summarize our clinical experience in treating posterior-communicating wide-necked aneurysms using endovascular stent and Guglielmi detachable coils (GDCs)., Methods: The coronary stents were implanted across the neck of 32 posterior-communication wide-necked aneurysms. Microcatheters were introduced into the aneurysm sac through stent mesh, GDCs were used to embolize aneurysms., Results: All operations were successful. Total occlusion was achieved in 26 patients, over 90% in 4, 60 - 70% in 2. The patients were perfectly recovered with patency of the parent arteries., Conclusion: Endovascular therapy combined with stent implatation and GDC placement is a valid approach to the treatment of posterior-communication wide-necked aneurysms.

The main chemical components of the rich peculiar aroma in the essential oil of Chinese Kushui rose (R. Setate x R. Rugosa) is reported. The differences in chemical components between Chinese Kushui rose oil and Bulgaria rose oil are compared. By OV1701 capillary column, more than 130 compounds were separated from the essential oil of Chinese Kushui rose. Using GC/MS and GC/IR techniques and some reference standards as the control, 101 compounds were tentatively identified from the separated compounds. This study shows that there are different aromas in rose essential oils. The oil of Chinese Kushui rose would be an important type of rose oil in the world due to its special rose aroma.
