Objective To establish the Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) for standard operation procedure of Shanghai Pheretima. Methods According to the comprehensive technical requirements of GAP standardized production of Chinese herbal medicine, the key technologies of standardized cultivation and processing were studied in Sangxin Town, Chongming District, Shanghai. Results The production area environment, variety characteristics, breeding technology, pest control, harvesting and processing, packaging, storage and transportation, quality monitoring and other technical links of Shanghai Pheretima were clearly defined and standardized. Objective To investigate the effect of sensitive quality indicators on quality management of assembly for medical instruments in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). Methods The error rate of assembly was set as an sensitive quality indicator, and root-cause analysis was made to find influencing factors in issues of human resource, instruments, process and methods. The standard operation procedure was established and countermeasures such as personnel training and information technology support were carried out. The error rates of assembly for medical instruments processed in Central Sterile Supply Department after implementation of sensitive quality indicators (between January and September 2020) were collected and compared with those before implementation of sensitive quality indicators (between January and September 2019). Results The error rate of assembly dropped from 0. 020% to 0. 006%. The implementation of sensitive quality indicators had shortened the time cost in assembling instruments and reduced the man-time of changing shift. Conclusion The establishment of sensitive quality indicators makes the work in CSSD more standardized and qualified, and provide scientific evidence for quality assessment and monitoring. BACKGROUND: Cervical rotation manipulation has a positive effect on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, but improper use of manipulation can easily cause adverse consequences. By comparing the inclined pull manipulation and rotation-traction manipulation that are commonly used in clinical practice and have a set of standard operating procedures, it provides clinical safety guidance for the manipulation. OBJECTIVE: To measure the difference in range of motion of cervical spine in the inclined pull manipulation and rotation-traction manipulation by motion capture technology, and to investigate the movement characteristics and the safety of two kinds of manipulations. METHODS: Totally 20 healthy subjects (10 males and 10 females) were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The 10 subjects (5 males and 5 females) in each group were subjected to inclined pull manipulation (group 1) and rotation-traction manipulation (group 2), respectively, to measure the active and passive movements of cervical spine and the range of motion of the subphysiological areas. This study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of Shunde Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The active and passive ranges of motion of the group of inclined pull method and the group of rotation-traction manipulation were not significantly different (P > 0.05). The range of motion in the subphysiological region of the group of inclined pull method was larger than that in the group of rotation-traction manipulation; the range of motion in the left subphysiological region was larger than that in the right region in the group of inclined pull method (P < 0.05). However, the range of motion in the subphysiological region was similar between both sexes (P > 0.05). The range of motion in the subphysiological region was similar between the left and right sides between both sexes in the group of rotation-traction manipulation (P > 0.05). It is concluded that the subphysiological area of cervical rotation-traction manipulation is smaller than that of inclined pull method, and the technique is more stable and balanced. Objectives: The aim of this study is to identify and prioritize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for nursing home care based on the perceptions of their importance and desirability reported by nursing home administrators. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. Structured questionnaires were used to measure the perceptions of importance and desirability toward SOPs for care among nursing homes administrators. A paired t-test was used to test the differences between the administrators’ perceptions of the importance and desirability of these SOPs. Importance–performance analysis (IPA) was adopted to explore the “concentrate here” items for further improvement. Results: For 34 SOPs, the perceived importance was significantly higher than the perceived performance. In quadrant I items (i.e., concentrate here), administrators perceived SOPs as highly important, and perceptions of desirability were above average, indicating that these SOPs required the greatest attention. Conclusions: Nursing home SOPs not only ensure that nurses and nursing assistants provide complete and accurate nursing home care but also improve the care effectiveness and reduce the care variability. This study revealed that the nursing home scale affects the SOP desirability. OBJECTIVE: To probe into how to improve the organization management system and the standard operating procedure of clinical drug trials in Zhongshan People’s Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"). METHODS: According to the existed problems during management, refining, revising and improving on various management systems and standard operation procedures from important segment during clinical drug trials were conduct to gradually improve the operability. RESULTS: The organization office combined the existed problems in various management systems and standard operation procedures of our hospital, refining, revising and improving measures were conducted in daily work so as to improve the feasibility and operability, and provided reference for other organizations. CONCLUSIONS: Organizations should in reference to the actual conditions of our hospital, to untimely refine and improve the management system and the standard operating procedure during management, and to ensure the successfully developing of clinical drug trials.
