The article discusses the case, McKinnon v. Government of the U.S., in which the House of Lords dismisses Defendant's appeal from extradition order. The U.S. government sought formal extradition to Gary McKinnon, a British citizen who was charged with hacking into and erasing many high level U.S. military computers, in exchange for his surrendering. It also offered to recommend reduced sentence to the U.S. court and repatriation to serve part of sentence in Great Britain.
