Jedna od najčešćih metoda povećanja iscrpka nafte je utiskivanje ugljikovog dioksida (CO2) u uvjetima miješanja. Utisnuti CO2 pri visokom tlaku i ležišnoj temperaturi miješa se s naftom tvoreći manje viskozan fluid s nižom međupovršinskom napetosti između fluida i stijene od originalne nafte. U radu je opisan način određivanja perspektivnosti ležišta za povećanje iscrpka nafte utiskivanjem CO2 i vrste procesa miješanja. Simulacijski program Eclipse korišten je za simulaciju utiskivanja CO2 u usku cijev. Rezultati su korišteni za određivanje minimalnog tlaka miješanja CO2 i ležišne nafte, opasivanja procesa miješanja i kretanja komponenata iz sastava nafte tijekom istiskivanja., One of the most widely used methods for enhanced oil recovery is CO2 miscible flooding. CO2 injected at high pressure and temperature achieves miscibility with oil, creating fluid with lower viscosity and interfacial tension forces between fluid and rock than the original oil. In this work reservoir screening criteria for CO2 miscible flooding enhanced oil recovery and different types of miscibility processes are described. Eclipse reservoir simulation software was used for simulating the injection of CO2 in slim tube. The results were used for determining minimum miscibility pressure for CO2 and oil, describing miscibility process and movement of oil components during flooding.

Izrađen je simulacijski model za interpretaciju hidrodinamičkih testova, tj. protočnog testa i testa porasta tlaka, za nekoliko tipskih slučajeva protjecanja u pribušotinskoj zoni. Modeli su simulirani uz pomoć ležišnog simulatora Eclipse. Na temelju simulacijskih rezultata tlakova i protoka provedena je interpretacija hidrodinamičkih testova u programu Ecrin i analitički pomoću tabličnog kalkulatora (MS Excel). Uspoređivano je poklapanje ulaznih ležišnih parametara modela, prvenstveno propusnosti, s ležišnim parametrima koji se dobiju intepretacijom hidrodinamičkih testova kako bi se uskladilo petrofizikalne podatke pribušotinske zone u modelu. Na ovaj način pokazano je kako je moguće definirati heterogenu pribušotinsku zonu, ali i simulirati hidrodinamičke testove u vremenu duljem nego što se izvode hidrodinamički testovi u stvarnosti, što osobito ima potencijalnu primjenu za slabopropusne formacije., Reservoir simulation model has been made for pressure transient testing interpretation, i.e. flow test and pressure buildup test for a few typical cases of flow in near wellbore zone. Models were simulated with Eclipse reservoir simulator. On the basis of pressure and production simulation results, numerical well test interpretation was made by using software Ecrin and analytically by using spreadsheet calculator (MS Excel). Input model parameters, primarily permeability, were compared with reservoir parameters which were calculated from well tests. This was done in order to adjust petrophysical data of the near wellbore zone in the model. By doing this it was shown that it is possible to define heterogeneous permeability near wellbore zone, but also to simulate well tests for much longer period of time than it is usually done in practice. This especially has potential application for low permeability formations.

Prilikom modeliranja i simulacije ležišta, učestali problem je manjak podataka potreban za izradu točnog modela ležišta. Korištenjem dostupnih podataka, moguće je generirati veću količinu podataka iste statističke raspodjele. Generiranjem više setova podataka propusnosti, pokazano je kako se statistički utemeljeno pretpostavljenim podacima o propusnosti može suziti financijski rizik u početnim procjenama ležišta, tj. u slučajevima kad nije dostupan precizan, detaljni i pouzdan geološki model ležišta. Using the available data, it is possible to generate greater quantity of data, of the same statistical distribution. By generating multiple sets of data, it has been shown that by using statistical based, assumed data of permeability, it is possible to narrow financial risk in first reservoir assessments, when detail and reliable geological model are not available. Used approach might be used to simulate several different scenarios of reservoir exploitation and range of possible values of most important reservoir and production parameters.
