U suvremenoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji teži se potaknuti korištenje ekološki prihvatljivih sredstava za suzbijanje neželjenih vrsta u samom poljoprivrednom proizvodu. Cilj je istraživanja utvrditi učinkovitost Nanoformulacije (Nanosilika) na bazi eteričnog ulja lavandina i silika gela u suzbijanju kestenjastog brašnara. Formulacija u sastavu: eterično ulje lavandina 13 %, emulgator polisorbat Tween®80 5 %, silika gel Sipernat® 50 S 10 % i destilirana voda 72 %, testirana je u četiri doze (300, 500, 700 i 800 ppm). Pokus je proveden na zrnu pšenice. Najviši mortalitet iznosi 48,75 % pri dozi od 500 ppm nakon 14 dana ekspozicije. Inhibicija potomstva F1 generacije tretiranih odraslih roditelja kreće se u rasponu od 32,25 % do 72,14 %. Za postizanje bolje učinkovitosti potrebno je ispitati druge omjere u sastavu aktivnih tvari formulacije te uzeti u obzir i druge aromatične biljne vrste s dokazanim insekticidnim djelovanjem., Nowadays, in modern agricultural production eco-friendly products are tends to be encouraged for use in controlling of harmful species in agricultural product itself. The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of nanoformulation (Nanosilica) based on lavender essential oil and silica gel in controlling red flour beetle. The formulation consisting of lavender essential oil (13%), Tween®80 polysorbate emulsifier (5%), Sipernat® 50 S silica gel (10%) and distilled water (72%) has been tested in four doses (300, 500, 700 and 800 ppm). The experiment has been conducted on wheat grains. The highest mortality rate at a dose of 500 ppm 14 days after the exposure was 48.75%. The inhibition of F1 generation offspring of treated adult parents ranged from 32.25% to 72.14%. In order to achieve better effectiveness, it is necessary to examine different ratios of the active substances in the formulation and to take other aromatic plant species with proven insecticidal action into consideration
