This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the development of language competencies for a group of children with a different mother tongue in a regular kindergarten. The theoretical part deals with terminological concepts and the specification of problems related to this issue based on professional publications. The empirical section is built on case studies of selected respondents. The main aim of the thesis was to measure information about participants' communication skills, gauge their progress, describe the educational process, and evaluate its efficiency. The research conducted in this specific kindergarten included three children with different first languages and contained two diagnostic tests with a three-month interval between them. The first study revealed a lack of language competency. The second study discovered that the respondents' communication skills improved. The comparison demonstrated the benefit of individual development for selected participants in all areas of communication competencies. The purpose of the study was to summarize language intervention and the possible needs of children in kindergarten, so they can effortlessly integrate into elementary schools. In my diploma thesis, I deal with the comparison of urban and rural kindergartens with regard to the granting of deferrals of compulsory schooling. The aim of the work was to clarify the issue of postponing compulsory schooling and to find out the frequency, reasons for postponing compulsory schooling and the opinions of parents and teachers on questions on the given topic, all from the point of view of comparing urban and rural kindergartens. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part serves as an introduction to the topic. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, I define concepts such as kindergarten - its functions, tasks, cooperation with parents and elementary school. In the second chapter, I define individual areas of maturity and readiness. The third chapter contains a theoretical summary of information on school attendance delays. The practical part was implemented in the form of a questionnaire survey with two groups of respondents - parents of children with delayed school attendance and kindergarten teachers. Four research questions were answered and four hypotheses were evaluated based on them. 109 respondents - pedagogues - took part in the questionnaire survey intended for kindergarten teachers, while almost 2/3, 68 (62%) work in an...

My diploma thesis deals with the adaptation process of new-coming teachers who enter the pre-primary education system. The adaptation should prepare them especially for a teacher's position, acquaint them with the organisation culture and help them to integrate into the new social environment. The theoretical part is focused on personnel activities in the organisation, adaptation, mentoring, the adaptation process of a new teacher as well as on the adaptation plan. The thesis aims at examining the functionality of the adaptation plan used in a kindergarten in Prague and developing a proposal for adaptation plan changes based on the reflection of the needs during the adaptation of the teachers who started to work in the kindergarten. The research is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with the teachers and mentors of the kindergarten in Prague. The questionnaire survey and interviews are supposed to find out what the teachers needed most during the adaptation, if the adaptation plan was of any help for the new-coming teachers, what the teachers would like to change in their adaptation plan to make it more helpful and to make it meet their needs during their adaptation, as well as what the mentors would like to change in the adaptation plan to make it more efficient. The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to verify whether kindergarten teachers choose a respectful approach towards children, which is focused on children's needs, their individual possibilities and interests. The theoretical part describes communication in general and defines respectful or effective communication and its forms, but ineffective communication is also described here. Furthermore, the text of the thesis is focused on the relationship between a child and an adult, on the individualization of education, where the importance of developmental peculiarities of preschool children is pointed out. The individual needs of children and inclusive education are also mentioned. For the purpose of achieving the set goal, qualitative research, a method of short-term intentional observation, was chosen, for which three criteria were chosen. The first criterion was the relationship between the child and the teacher. The second criterion related to the use of effective and ineffective forms of communication, and the third criterion dealt with the needs of children. The research group was kindergarten teachers from five institutions within the South Moravian and South Bohemian Regions. The observation was supplemented by a short semi-structured interview with kindergarten teachers. The aim of the interview was to find out the teachers' awareness of the individualization of education.

ABSTRACT This bachelor's thesis deals with the integration of children with a different mother language, specifically Ukrainian children arriving after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Most kindergartens in the Czech Republic are managed by a headmaster/ headmistress and their deputies (depending on the size of the kindergarten). There are also some kindergartens which fall within the management of a primary, or even a secondary school in the particular municipality, and the function of a headmaster/ headmistress is performed by the primary/ secondary school principal. If that is the case, the kindergarten headteacher position is introduced, who is not a deputy but is in charge of the kindergarten and responsible to the principal. This thesis examines the competencies of a kindergarten headteacher as an educational institution leader. The aim of the thesis is to research kindergarten headteachers' job competencies and job description in South-Bohemia Region (Jihočeský kraj). This Bachelor's thesis looks at promoting motivation for reading and understanding the text through working with the book and illustrating it, with a focus on working in nursery school. I chose this theme in particular because a positive relationship with books and an understanding of a given text, already developed in preschool, forms the basis for children to live. In school they will learn to read and write, they will need to understand the assignment, and these all activities, aimed at working with the book and illustrating it, just include reading preliteracy. Understanding the text is one of the reading skills we strive to develop in preschool. It is a complex of thought processes that lead to the understanding of the read text. Understanding reveals the content of the text. In this preschool period, therefore, we try to create the most positive relationship with written text, motivate children to read, write and develop the areas needed for future reading in a non-violent way. More specifically, the work focuses on children in their final year of kindergarten, that is, children before entering primary school. The research was carried out with the entire class, but also focused on 6 pre-selected preschool-age children and observed their relationship to books, book work and level of text...

- Abstract
Indoor air quality is always influenced by a number of sources of pollution and can be improved by controlling (minimizing the impact) these sources and by efficient ventilation. An important factor influencing the interior is also the outdoor air, which can be contaminated by nearby transport or industrial sources. Studies conducted between 2015 and 2016 focused on describing the environment of a specific group - children attending kindergartens. The intention was to update and expand information on the occurrence of substances in the indoor environment of kindergartens, their trends, existing resources, and problems and cooperative influences. A part of the study was a multifactorial questionnaire submitted to parents of children, consisting of six parts, which included, in addition to general questions, questions about the child's health, its timetable, and information on eating habits, questions about the domestic environment of the child, and questions about the socio-economic state of the family. The last theoretical part is a description and analysis of support measures for children and pupils with visual impairment according to the Catalog of Support Measures. The chapters on the development of a visually impaired child and on support measures also contain texts from practice, on which the findings are shown.
