The aim of this thesis is to develop a business plan for funding new enterprise in joinery and carpentry. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part there are mentioned the theoretical basis of the work, which contain and explain the concepts of business, entrepreneur, enterprise, financing of a business and business plan including its structure, evaluation of business plan effectiveness. In the second part of the thesis, the theoretical basis is applied in practice to a specific business plan. The business plan is created for the emerging business entity. Because it is a new business, it must consider carefully the financing of the business. The business plan also includes an assessment of its effectiveness by indicators of profitability and payback period.

This work was focused on the evaluating the effectiveness of investment options. The aim was to use the basic static and dynamic methods to evaluate the effectiveness of selected investment options. It was proposed investment decisions.

This thesis focuses on the question whether it is economically viable to operate a system for household electricity production and if so, what are the necessary conditions to do so. In the text of this thesis a brief summary of environmental protection and sustainable development is presented, followed by the description and current state of technologies needed to construct systems for electricity production in the scale of family houses with focus on photovoltaic systems, and a description of the current legislation and administrative barriers related to this subject. Economic view (costs and return of investment) is examined in relation to multiple conditions, focus of this examination being on the geographical conditions, legislation and administrative conditions, state subsidies, electricity production and consumption profiles in the household and electricity price development scenarios. Technologies for household electricity production are therefore put into the context relevant to the citizens of the Czech Republic. The results of this work show, that the systems for photovoltaic electricity production in family houses in the conditions of the Czech Republic are economically viable with the premise that the surpluses of electricity produced are effectively consumed, for example for water...

The aim of this diploma thesis is to characterize the process of investment calculations at Bosch Diesel company and to compare Bosch Diesel s effectiveness of investment evaluation methodology with the methodology recommended in teaching literature. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part defines various methods for evaluation of investments. It also deals with estimation of cash flow of an investment, calculation of a discount rate and risk analysis. The practical part illustrates the process of investment calculations at Bosch Diesel company by the means of the real investment in production of CP4 pumps. According to the found deviations the investment calculation of this project is recalculated. In the conclusion there are proposals for how the investment process of the company could be improved.

Diploma thesis has a character of a feasibility study which may serve for implementation of a smaller development project. This project is focused on the creation of student dormitory on university level by reconstructing an administration building. The goal of the thesis is to present a basic structure of implementation of such development project from construction and operation view and in terms of financial evaluation based on requirements of a private investor. Furthermore, the document describes in detail the Slovak accommodation market, reasons for such an investment, aspects of reconstruction, operating plan and financial side of the entire investment. The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the consequences of building insulation educational facilities. The aim is to determine whether the construction insulation manifest themselves in the cost management of school facilities as well as in the cost management of the town district, which is their legal founded. Source data of the thesis are energy audits, documents containing data on actual heat consumption, publicly available data on the financial statements of educational facilities and district budgets. The final results confirmed that the insulation brought a positive impact on both the cost management of the surveyed kindergartens and the cost management of the district. So, the investment into insulation was spent effectively. This is also evidenced by the results of the payback period and net present value.

The goal of this Diploma Thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of agricultural company AGRO BYSTŘICE a. s. (JSC) in their investment decisions. The thesis has been divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part has been dealing with the investment's issues as well as with the profitability of investment projects. It continues with the subject of financial analysis and its individual indicators. The practical part concentrates on the company AGRO BYSTŘICE a.s. issues and its investment project. It evaluates the economic profitability of the given project by means of theoretical findings. It considers the results of financial analysis of the company before and after the implementation of investment project.

This diploma thesis deals with issues surrounding the evaluation of investment project effectiveness. Apart from general characteristics and identification of key terminology in the area of investment decision making and capital planning, which are outlined in the theoretical part of this thesis, the section also provides an overview of methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of the investment decision making process. Particular attention is paid to the issue of criteria selection based on cash flows generated by the investment project. Theoretical findings regarding the evaluation of investment effectiveness are then used in the analytical part of this this by evaluating the effectiveness of a real-life investment project.

The point of this work is to describe a process of investment decision and capital budgeting in practical way. A calculation of capital expenditures and mainly a prediction of financial incomes is considered as the most important phase of whole process. The calculated figures of capital expenditures and financial revenue serve for evaluation of certain investment. There is a lot of methods for evaluation of investments. Net present value, internal rate of return and payback period belong between the most used methods. The choice of way of investment financing is the next very important step. It is necessary to decide, what financial source is the best and optimal for certain company. Recently is possible to use a support from the funds of Europe Union. It is very administravely difficult to obtain a that king of grant, but it´s very lucrative source for companies because it can cover substantial part of whole capital expenditures of investment and moreover it´s non-reversible. Next topic of this bachelors´ work is participation of foreign currency in investment decision and capital budgeting. It´s necessary to consider risks linked with change of exchange rate, if any cash flow is in foreign currency. This bachelor´s work describe main way how to secure against that king of risks.
