This diploma thesis deals with teaching styles, teaching and educational methods and looks for relationship to organizational forms of teaching. The second section is devoted to teaching and teaching methods that can be used in physical education lessons. I examine the development of teaching methods, the work of various authors, their views and their division of methods. The third section is dedicated to the teacher as a very important determinant of teaching. Because the teacher has a huge influence on the teaching style and the choice of teaching methods, I deal with his personality, expression and other influencing factors. The whole fourth section of the theoretical part is devoted to the teaching styles themselves. The fifth section is devoted to those organizational forms of teaching that can be used in physical education lessons. The sixth section includes didactic principles, their adherence, and the relationship to previous research terms. The aim of this work is to introduce individual forms of education,...

Teacher's personal teaching conception as a crucial factor of geography lessons Abstract This bachelor thesis examines a teachers' personal approaches of teaching geography, teaching styles and other selected aspects of the learning process. The main task of this work was to determine the content and the way of teaching of modern geography teachers, as well as the most important aspects of geography to be taught and what the teachers primarily want to teach their students. Beside this, a very important goal was to create a research tool (particularly a survey) to determine a teacher's teaching method and its impact on the learning process. Basic terminology, such as teacher's personal approach of teaching and teaching styles are defined in the theoretical part. Methodology and practical part follow afterwards. The practical part is consisted of results of the survey. The survey was prepared and piloted based on the theoretical-methodological balance sheet and the literature discussion. The results show that this survey was usable in practice and that the teacher's personal approach significantly influences the teaching process of geography. Respondents were found to place emphasis on teaching general worldview, logical reasoning, map and space orientation, and activities that are practical for life. The...

The diploma thesis deals with learning styles of learners in English language teaching namely in one-to-one courses. The theoretical part deals with the theory of learning styles which is contrasted with the theory of learning strategies. In the theoretical part it is described how learning styles and learning strategies are classified by different authors. How to identify learning styles of one particular student is explained. Apart from that the theoretical part deals with teaching styles in order to find the relationship between learning styles and teaching styles. One-to-one teaching is described as the research takes place in one-to-one teaching environment. The empirical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research of learning styles namely case studies of 7 students of different levels of English who acquire English in one-to-one courses. Students´ learning styles will be analysed through data obtained from an interview. The author of the thesis will use participant observation and will keep account of learning styles of every particular student. Results acquired from the interview will be compared with results from observation in one-to-one teaching. When students´ learning styles are analysed, appropriate teaching methods and exercises are proposed to satisfy students´ ascertained learning styles.

At present it is usual that there is an effort in primary schools to shift a part of the responsibilities off the teacher on the students. Didactic styles enable the teachers to put their students into new roles and so the students are forced to solve new situations under different conditions. This is how the teachers can react effectively in educating the students by leading them from passive perception to creativness. The work gives information about using teaching operative styles during teaching physical education in primary schools in Příbram district.
