The article presents a research study on the transformation of the Farmers' Union and the adaptation of this agricultural organization to the fast changing world. The study focuses on the interaction between structures and actors. It discusses archival and literature to find the evolving structures and dynamic of the organization and analyzes the oral sources to explore the meanings and perceptions of people of different levels in the organization. It informs that the study author used four groups of interviews and started interviewing after elaborate desk and archival research. The content analysis of a large group of oral sources was combined with an narrative and performative analysis of small group of interviews.
