This paper examines the empirical correlations between 14 intensity measures (IMs) describing the frequency content, amplitude, cumulative effects, and duration aspects of ground motion based on the NGA‐West2 database. The correlation results in this paper are compared with the results of previous models based on the NGA‐West1 database, and the previous correlation coefficient models are updated and extended. The comparison results show that the trend of the correlation coefficients of the model established in this paper is essentially consistent with previous models based on the NGA‐West1 database, with most correlation coefficients observed in this paper being slightly lower than in previous studies. In addition, this paper extends the generalized conditional intensity measure (GCIM) ground motion selection method so that it can consider multiple conditional IMs (VGCIM), and gives full theoretical details. The differences between the theories of VGCIM and GCIM are discussed, and several possible application scenarios of VGCIM are illustrated. An example application of VGCIM is shown, and the results show that there are deviations between the target IMs conditional distribution constructed after considering multiple conditional IMs and considering one IM that is sufficient to make an impact in the ground motion selection. Finally, the effect of the correlation coefficient model on the IMs conditional distributions generated based on GCIM and VGCIM is discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The skin cancer (mostly of melanoma cells) rate has increased in recent years due to genetic and epigenetic reasons. The efficient treatment of skin cancer is an unmet requirement to achieve specific anticancer activity, reduction of the costs and side effects, and precluding resistance of cancer cells. Hence, employment of proper nanocarriers is promising. Niosomal delivery of loaded drugs or compounds is preffered for skin cancer therapy considering targeted delivery, scalability, biocompatibility, stability and high loading capacity, efficiently killing skin tumor cells. The niosomal formulation of natural and synthetic agents has increased the anticancer and antimicrobial effects on the skin surface. Moreover, niosomal formulation of drugs/compounds have significantly decreased the effective dose or concentration and also mitigated side effects. The stable structure, minimized drug leakage, and efficient delivery to the target tissues can be achieved using niosomal formulation. Future studies will contribute to a deeper understanding and development of more stable nanocarriers, such as combining hybrid niosomes with stabilizing substances such as salts and organic structures for effective drug delivery. Agronomy research traditionally relies on small, controlled trial plots, which may not accurately represent the complexities and variabilities found in larger, realworld settings. To address this gap, we introduce a Bayesian methodology for the analysis of yield monitor data, systematically collected across extensive agricultural landscapes during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 growing seasons. Utilizing advanced yield monitoring equipment, our method provides a detailed examination of the effects of green manure on wheat yields in a real-world context. The results from this comprehensive analysis reveal significant insights into the impact of green manure application on wheat production, demonstrating enhanced yield outcomes across varied landscapes. This evidence suggests that the Bayesian approach to analyzing yield monitor data can offer more precise and contextually relevant information than traditional experimental designs. This research underscores the value of integrating largescale data analysis techniques in agronomy, moving beyond small-scale trials to offer a broader, more accurate perspective on agricultural practices. The adoption of such methodologies promises to refine farming strategies and policies, ultimately leading to more effective and sustainable agricultural outcomes. In this paper we study the semiclassical behavior of the scattering data of a non-self-adjoint Dirac operator with a real, positive, multi-humped, fairly smooth but not necessarily analytic potential decaying at infinity. Objectives: Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) represents one of the most common causes of refractory epilepsy in children. Deep learning demonstrates great power in tissue discrimination by analyzing MRI data. A prediction model was built and verified using 3D full-resolution nnU-Net for automatic lesion detection and segmentation of children with FCD II. Methods: High-resolution brain MRI structure data from 65 patients, confirmed with FCD II by pathology, were retrospectively studied. Experienced neuroradiologists segmented and labeled the lesions as the ground truth. Also, we used 3D full-resolution nnU-Net to segment lesions automatically, generating detection maps. The algorithm was trained using fivefold cross-validation, with data partitioned into training (N = 200) and testing (N = 15). To evaluate performance, detection maps were compared to expert manual labels. The Dice-Sørensen coefficient (DSC) and sensitivity were used to assess the algorithm performance. Results: The 3D nnU-Net showed a good performance for FCD lesion detection at the voxel level, with a sensitivity of 0.73. The best segmentation model achieved a mean DSC score of 0.57 on the testing dataset. Conclusion: This pilot study confirmed that 3D full-resolution nnU-Net can automatically segment FCD lesions with reliable outcomes. This provides a novel approach to FCD lesion detection. The two-parameter Wright special function is an interesting mathematical object that arises in the theory of the space and time-fractional diffusion equations. Moreover, many other special functions are particular instantiations of the Wright function. The article demonstrates finite representations of the Wright function in terms of sums of generalized hypergeometric functions, which in turn provide connections with the theory of the Gaussian, Airy, Bessel, and Error functions, etc. The main application of the presented results is envisioned in computer algebra for testing numerical algorithms for the evaluation of the Wright function. The purpose of this research was to determine whether some stability exercises performed on the floor exercise mat to increase core strength would improve the technical application level of students. Method: A sample of 39 young male students from a university (age = 22.1±1.2 years, height = 170.3±6.5 cm, weight 65.2±8.7 kg, Body Mass Index = 22.5±2.8) participated in the study. The participants were into the control group (n=19) and experimental group (n=20) completed pre-tests and post-tests. The CS was assessed by the Stability Movement Push-ups, Abdominals, Back, Pull-ups, Headstand. The results of the paired samples t-tests show that the experimental group had a significant improvement in the mean scores for all four movements on the post-test compared to the pre-test. The mean score for the push-ups increased from 4.9±1.2 to 7.5±1.3 (t(14)=-10.78, p<0.001), the mean score for the abdominals and headstand increased from 4.6±1.0 to 7.0±1.2 (t(14)=-10.14, p<0.001), the mean score for the back and handstand increased from 4.8±1.1 to 6.9±1.2 (t(14)=-7.86, p<0.001), and the mean score for the pull-ups increased from 4.7±1.0 to 7.3±1.1 (t(14)=-11.47, p<0.001). Since the p values of the four movements are lower than 0.001, it is seen that there is a statistically significant difference between the scores obtained in the pre-test and the scores obtained in the post-test. Aim: We evaluated the safety of robotic surgery for right‐sided colon cancer in Japan. Methods: This was a prospective, open‐label, single‐arm phase II trial conducted at two institutions. Patients ≥20 years old with stage I–III right‐sided colon cancer and scheduled for radical resection with ≥D2 lymph node dissection were eligible. The criterion for surgeons was experience performing robot‐assisted rectal resection in ≥40 cases. The primary endpoint was the postoperative complication rate ≤30 days after surgery. Results: From August 2021 to February 2023, 42 patients were enrolled; three were excluded, with 39 analyzed as the full analysis set. The median age was 72 years, and the median body mass index was 23.2. The tumor was located in the cecum in 13 cases (33.3%), ascending colon in 20 cases (51.3%), and transverse colon in six cases (15.4%). Ileocolic resection was performed in 17 cases (43.5%) and right hemicolectomy in 22 cases (56.5%), both with D3 lymph node dissection. The median console time was 109 min, and the operative time was 170 min. The mean blood loss was 7.7 mL. Intracorporeal anastomosis was performed in 28 patients (71.8%). There were no conversions and no intraoperative adverse events. The median postoperative stay was 5 days. Postoperative complications occurred in four patients (10.2%; paralytic ileus [n = 3] and pneumonia [n = 1]). All postoperative complications were grade 1 or 2, with no mortalities noted.
