Background: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been used in the treatment of anthracycline (ANTs)-induced cardiotoxicity. This meta-analysis aims to evaluate systematically the efficacy and safety of TCM combined with dexrazoxane (DRZ) on cardiotoxicity caused by ANTs. Materials and Methods: Retrieval of the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WAN FANG DATA, Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), Cochrane Library, and PubMed was conducted through various methods. The meta-analysis was registered on PROSPERO (Registration ID: CRD42023435324). A randomized controlled trial (RCT) of TCM in combination with DRZ to avert cardiotoxicity caused by ANTs was compiled. The efficacy and safety of TCM Combined with DRZ, the cardiotoxicity induced by ANTs was synthesized and discussed, along with the outcomes of cardiac troponin T (cTnT), cardiac troponin I (cTnI), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), creatine kinase isoenzymes (CK-MB), creatine kinase (CK), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), electrocardiogram (ECG) abnormalities, and the incidence of adverse reactions. RevMan 5.3 was used for meta-analysis. Results: A total of 10 RCTs with 746 patients were included. The pooled results showed that TCM combined with DRZ treatment decreased significantly the incidence of ECG abnormalities (RR = 0.47, 95% CI [0.32,0.70], p = 0.0001), the level of cTnT (MD = −7.16, 95% CI [−8.31, −6.02], p< 0.001), CK (MD = −14.94, 95% CI [−22.91, −6.97], p< 0.001), cTnI (MD = −0.10, 95% CI [−0.14, −0.06], p< 0.001), BNP (MD = −33.66, 95% CI [−36.95, −30.37], p< 0.001), CK-MB (MD = −5.93, 95% CI [−8.16, −3.70], p< 0.001). However, there was no significant change in LVEF in the experimental group compared with the control group (MD = 4.81, 95% CI [−02.99, 12.21], p = 0.23). Moreover, adverse events have no significant difference between the two groups as well (RR = 0.60, 95% CI [0.31, 1.15], p = 0.13). Conclusion: This meta-analysis revealed TCM combined with DRZ appears to be able to improve the efficacy of cardiotoxicity caused by ANTs, but the included studies were of poor quality, and high-quality RCTs would be preferred for future studies. Background: Peri‐implantitis and periodontitis have similar immunological bioprocesses and inflammatory phenotypes. In the inflammatory process, the adaptive immune cells can drive the development of disease. This research investigated the differences and diagnostic significance of peri‐implantitis and periodontitis in adaptive immune responses. Methods: We acquired four GEO datasets of gene expressions in surrounding tissues in healthy person, healthy implant, periodontitis, and peri‐implantitis patients. The structural characteristics and enrichment analyses of differential expression genes were examined. The adaptive immune landscapes in peri‐implantitis and periodontitis were then evaluated using single sample gene set enrichment analysis. The STRING database and Cytoscape were used to identify adaptive hub genes, and the ROC curve was used to verify them. Finally, qRT‐PCR method was used to verify the expression level of Hub gene in activated T cells on the titanium‐containing or titanium‐free culture plates. Results: At the transcriptome level, the data of healthy implant, peri‐implantitis and periodontitis were highly dissimilar. The peri‐implantitis and periodontitis both exhibited adaptive immune response. Except for the activated CD4+T cells, there was no significant difference in other adaptive immune cells between peri‐implantitis and periodontitis. In addition, correlation analysis showed that CD53, CYBB, and PLEK were significantly positively linked with activated CD4+T cells in the immune microenvironment of peri‐implantitis, making them effective biomarkers to differentiate it from periodontitis. Conclusions: Peri‐implantitis has a uniquely immunogenomic landscape that differs from periodontitis. Land surface models (LSMs) should have reliable forcing, validation, and surface attribute data as the foundation for effective model development and improvement. Eddy covariance flux tower data are considered the benchmarking data for LSMs. However, currently available flux tower datasets often require multiple aspects of processing to ensure data quality before application to LSMs. More importantly, these datasets lack site-observed attribute data, limiting their use as benchmarking data. Here, we conducted a comprehensive quality screening of the existing reprocessed flux tower dataset, including the proportion of gap-filled data, external disturbances, and energy balance closure (EBC), leading to 90 high-quality sites. For these sites, we collected vegetation, soil, topography information, and wind speed measurement height from literature, regional networks, and Biological, Ancillary, Disturbance, and Metadata (BADM) files. Then we obtained the final flux tower attribute dataset by global data product complement and plant functional types (PFTs) classification. This dataset is provided in NetCDF format complete with necessary descriptions and reference sources. Model simulations revealed substantial disparities in output between the attribute data observed at the site and the defaults of the model, underscoring the critical role of site-observed attribute data and increasing the emphasis on flux tower attribute data in the LSM community. The dataset addresses the lack of site attribute data to some extent, reduces uncertainty in LSMs data source, and aids in diagnosing parameter as well as process deficiencies. Northeast China (NEC) is the most prominent grain‐producing region in China. However, it is currently facing significant impacts from climate change. Since the climate‐related impacts on crop yield in this region are a major concern for society in the future, quantifying climate change impacts on crop yields in NEC is essential to ensure future food security. This study aimed to quantify the effects of future climate change on crop yields in NEC and explore adaptation strategies using the Crop Growth Model (PCSE) driven by downscaled CMIP6 climate projections under four Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) scenarios during 2015–2100. Results showed that there could be average reductions in crop yields of 21.4% for maize and 4.2% for soybean by the year 2100 under SSP585 compared to the 2015 baseline. The increasing temperature was the dominant factor in reducing yields, although elevated CO2 and precipitation offered partial compensation. The optimized planting date brought noticeable benefits for rice and soybean but had limited effects on maize due to heat stress. Relocating rice expansion eastward and implementing earlier planting increased yields by up to 50% but adversely decreased soybean and maize due to competition. This study enriches our comprehension of climate change impacts on NEC agriculture, while also quantifying potential benefits and constraints of evaluated adaptations. The proposed adaptations may help mitigate projected yield declines in other key agricultural regions across the globe. Adjusting crop management practices to capitalize on changing climate factors shows promise as a strategy for sustaining production globally. This study investigated how climate change could impact maize, rice, and soybean crop yields in this region from 2015 to 2100, using the PCSE crop model and forcing from the international Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6 (CMIP6) climate projections. Simulation results suggested rising temperatures would negatively affect crop yields, especially for maize. Increased carbon dioxide and rainfall partially offset these losses. By 2100, average declines were projected for maize (−21%) and soybeans (−4%), respectively. Altering planting dates to match crop needs was an effective adaptation to boost yields, with rice benefiting the most. Relocating rice production eastward and expanding its area substantially increased simulated rice yields (+62%) but decreased other crops due to competition (−32% maize, −28% soybeans). Even with adaptations, some areas still showed yield declines, indicating extra measures may be needed to maintain production. Overall, this study suggests significant risks to crop yields from climate change in Northeast China, with adaptations like optimized planting and strategic crop relocation able to mitigate some but not all of the projected impacts. This study develops an unstructured mesh generation tool for land surface modeling using a multi‐scale hexagon discrete mesh. The tool can automatically determine the required mesh resolution for different regions based on multi‐objective criteria such as elevation, slope, land cover, and land use. The refined unstructured meshes demonstrate significant enhancement in the representation of spatial heterogeneity. The tool is coupled with the Common Land Model (CoLM) to enable land surface simulations using unstructured meshes. Evaluations focused on runoff, river discharge, and inundation indicate improved model performance compared to traditional structured mesh‐based CoLM simulations under the same computational cost constraints. This tool provides new capabilities for more efficiently capturing localized land surface processes and extreme events. Smooth, efficient agri-food supply chain (AFSC) operations are becoming ever more difficult due to more intense and frequent natural disasters and man-made disruptions. Helping AFSCs to survive disturbances requires re-consideration of how to build their resilience. This study addresses this issue through a cross-country comparative analysis involving interviews with AFSC practitioners, thematic analysis to generate agri-food supply chain resilience (AFSCRes) capability factors, total interpretive structural modelling (TISM) to establish interrelationships among the factors, cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) analysis to categorise the factors, and comparative analysis. The results reveal that contractual restraints regulating farmers' opportunistic behaviour and regular interactions are key factors for building AFSCRes in France and Argentina, respectively. This study also confirms the critical role of farmers' associations and coordinated activities amongst all AFSC stakeholders to build AFSCRes. For triggering AFSCRes, farmers' resilience must be particularly prioritised, as they are the least resilient point in AFSCs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Circular economy (CE) and Industry 4.0 are recent business buzzwords that help organizations to maintain a circular flow and optimize the use of resources with technological supports to improve sustainability practice. Transition towards CE and Industry 4.0 is promising and yet challenging. As such, the aim of this research is to investigate how to integrate CE and Industry 4.0 in sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) in order to improve operational efficiency and sustainability performance. This study provides an analysis of the dynamic changes of drivers and barriers when integrating CE and Industry 4.0 and their related applications in operations and SCM through a systematic review of literature. The Jiaolai Basin, situated in the northern Sulu orogenic belt along East Aisa continental margin, preserves evidence of the extensional events in East Asia and the post‐orogenic evolution of the Sulu orogenic belt during the Cretaceous period. In this study, multiple provenance analyses were employed to reconstruct the source‐to‐sink system of the Laiyang Group within the Jiaolai Basin. These studies reveal a history of northward expansion dictated by two significant rift events. During the early Early Cretaceous period (ca. 135–121 Ma), the Zhucheng and Gaomi sags in southern region developed initially. Subsequently, in the late Early Cretaceous period (ca. 120–113 Ma), the Laiyang sag in northern region emerged. Furthermore, these sags were fed by independent source‐to‐sink systems in their early stages but eventually shared a similar source‐to‐sink system towards the end of the Laiyang Group deposition (ca. 113 Ma). The provenance analysis results indicate that ca. 121 Ma, ultrahigh‐pressure rocks in the northern segment of the Sulu orogenic belt experienced rapid exhumation, while those in the southern segment might have remained concealed until ca. 113 Ma. The two rift events in East Asia, coupled with the alteration in the direction and magnitude of extension documented in the Jiaolai Basin, suggests that trench retreat and the change in subduction direction from E–W to NW–SE of the Izanagi plate played a principal role in driving the extensional events in East Asia during the Early Cretaceous. Variability in subsidence rates within Upper Cretaceous strata of the Western Interior Basin offers crucial insights into the response of surface sedimentation styles to Sevier‐to‐Laramide tectonics and related deep mantle processes. The formation mechanisms of the Late Cretaceous Western Interior Basin in North America have long been a subject of debate. A re‐evaluation of the basin's subsidence history reveals rapid subsidence pulses lasting ca. 2 Myr within longer‐term (average 5.7 Myr) progradational or aggradational clastic wedges. The timing of these wedges, especially the widespread marine flooding resulting from subsidence, is constrained through the calibration of ammonite zonation with absolute dates. Sevier wedges exhibit a different architecture compared to the Laramide wedges. The former recorded initial rapid and widespread marine transgressions followed by long‐term coastal progradation, whereas the latter developed by initial erosional and progradational growth followed by aggradation and long‐term coastal transgression. The Sevier clastic wedges, initially accumulated within a N‐S elongated, long‐wavelength tectonic subsidence zone close to the thrust belt, gradually migrated cratonward. Starting in the early Campanian (ca. 82 Ma), the Laramide Orogeny developed along a NW‐SE trend and then migrated northeastward, roughly consistent with coeval long‐wavelength frontal basin subsidence. The spatio‐temporal variations in long‐wavelength tectonic subsidence indicate a shift in the dynamic subsidence's migration direction from eastward to northeastward, driven by changes in Farallon subduction direction and mode. Our work shows how repeated subsidence behavior in the Sevier‐to‐Laramide transition records evolving architectural responses and the trajectory of coeval dynamic topography. Researchers and practitioners insist on equipping supply chains with the adaptive capability to return to a more desirable state after being disrupted. Various resilience capabilities have been emphasized in the literature; however, limited research has linked them to resilience phases and cultural value orientations. Moreover, preparedness and adaption phases have hardly been studied. To address these gaps, we adopted middle‐range theory to investigate agri‐food supply chain (AFSC) resilience to the COVID‐19 crisis in a cross‐country setting. Data were collected from interviews with AFSC practitioners from China and Spain, followed by thematic and comparative analyses. The results indicate that frequently discussed resilience capabilities, such as collaboration, redundancy, flexibility, leadership, and innovation, were implemented across the preparedness, response and recovery, and adaption phases; however, successful AFSC recovery also depends on each country's cultural value orientations. A hierarchical cultural orientation generates sense‐making and collectiveness and further leads to synergy across all AFSC stakeholders, thereby contributing to AFSC response and recovery. Under an egalitarianism cultural orientation that places self‐interest ahead of group goals, organizations are encouraged to make decisions based on their own situational understanding, which contributes to their response and recovery. Large-eddy simulations (LESs) have been increasingly used for studying atmosphere and land surface interactions over heterogeneous areas. However, parameterizations based on Monin–Obukhov Similarity Theory (MOST) often violate the basic assumptions of the very theory, generate inconsistencies with the LES turbulence closures, and produce surface flux estimates depending on LES model resolutions. Here, we propose a novel scheme for turbulent flux estimates in LES models. It computes the fluxes locally using the LES subgrid closure, which is then constrained on the macroscopic scale using MOST. Compared with several other schemes, the new scheme performs better for the various types of land surfaces tested. We validate our scheme by comparing surface flux estimates with field measurements obtained over an oasis surface at various height levels. Additionally, we scrutinize other quantities related to the surface energy balance, including net radiation, ground heat flux, and surface skin temperature, all of which align well with observational data. Our sensitivity experiments, focusing on model horizontal resolution, underscore the robustness of our scheme, as it maintains its corrective efficacy despite changes in horizontal grid spacing. We find that the macroscopic constraint imposed by MOST on LES-estimated fluxes strengthens as the horizontal grid spacing decreases, with a more pronounced influence on sensible than latent heat fluxes. For developing commercially viable LiNi 1- x - y Mn x Co y O 2 (NCM), it is necessary to alleviate the irreversible chemical process upon Li-ion insertion/extraction, which primarily accounts for prevailing capacity loss, impedance buildup as well as low columbic efficiency. To resolve this issue, we herein propose a simple but novel method to alter the chemical composition by a facile treatment of H 2 O 2 , which remarkably reduces the cation mixing of Li + /Ni 2+ and residual lithium on the cathode. The tailored composition contributes great resistance to the structural reconstruction and enhancement in structural reversibility, as shown by in situ Raman and high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) results.
