IPPTA (Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association) Journal is a well-known journal in the Indian pulp and paper fraternity with a publishing history of fifty-five years. This study presents a bibliometric overview of articles published in the IPPTA Journal during 2005-2019. This is the first bibliometric study of a journal completely dedicated to pulp and paper research. The bibliometric analysis included analysis of article distribution, subject classification, authorship pattern, author productivity and collaboration, geographical distribution, references, keywords, prominent institutions, and citations. It also accounts for Lotka's law of scientific productivity, relative growth rate, doubling time, frequently contributing authors and top-cited articles. It was found that during this period 830 articles were published in IPPTA Journal. The average number of articles published per year in the journal is ~56. A total of 2361 authors from 27 countries and 339 unique institutes were identified in these articles. These articles contained 1009 unique keywords, used 5968 references, and received 561 citations. 74.10% of articles were contributed by joint authors. Out of the total 5968 references cited in this journal during the period of study, 48.51% were sourced from journal articles. The overall degree of collaboration, modified collaboration coefficient, average author per article, productivity per article, and collaboration index were calculated to be 0.7410, 0.5030, 2.8446, 0.3515, and 3.8390, respectively. This paper analyzes 5046 research publications in physical science that Haryana had published during the last ten years (2005-14). The publications data was sourced from Scopus International database. The findings reveal that Haryana registered 14.28% growth per year and citation impact of 6.0 citations per paper. Haryana's research output in physical science accounted for 19.42% state share and 1.72% country share in S&T during 2005-14. Nearly 13.5% of Haryana's output appeared as International collaborative papers. Chemistry and physics & astronomy accounted for the largest share (37.38% and 33% respectively). The top 20 most productive organizations of Haryana accounted for 83.25% and 86.12% publication and citation share, registered average productivity of 210.5 papers per organization, averaged 6.20 citations per paper, h-index of 13.85, and averaged 10.95% share as international collaborative papers of during 2005-14. The top 20 most productive authors from Haryana-based organizations accounted for 22.39% publications share, 31.75% citations share, registered average productivity of 56.5 papers per author, averaged 8.50 citations per paper, h-index of 11.85%, and 8.67% share as international collaborative papers during 2005-14. Nearly 18% of Haryana's papers in physical science were reported in top 20 journals during 2005-14. Haryana contributed 18 highly cited papers with 100 + citations per paper. Together these 18 papers cumulated 3129 citations, with an average of 173.83 citations per paper during 2005-14. This paper analyzes 8090 research publications in the area of life sciences in Haryana published during the last ten years (2005-14). The publications data was sourced from Scopus International database. The findings reveal that Haryana averaged 12.20% annual growth in life science research, citation impact of 5.64 citations per paper during 2005-14. Haryana published 24.08% of its research output in life science as national collaborative papers and 12.48% as international collaborative papers during 2005-14. Among its various subfields, agricultural & biological sciences dominated life science research accounting for the share (51.61%). The top 20 most productive organizations based out in Haryana accounted for 84.36% share, registered average productivity of 341.25, averaged 6.01 citations per paper, averaged h-index of 12.5 during 2005-14. The top 20 most productive authors with affiliations to Haryana accounted for 13.91% share, registered average productivity of 56.25 papers per author, and averaged 8.88 citations per paper, and averaged h-index of 13.91 during 2005-14. The top 25 journals accounted for 32.44% share of total output (8090) by the state. Thirty 30 highly cited papers received 100 + citations and together cumulated 4890 citations, with an average citation per paper of 163.0 during 2005-14. This paper analyzes 5677 research publications that Haryana had contributed in the area of engineering science during the last ten years (2005-14). The publications data was sourced from Scopus International database. The findings reveal that Haryana achieved significantly faster growth rate in engineering science (22.59% CAGR) but witnessed low level citation impact of 4.40 citations per paper, contributed merely 20 highly cited papers, and accounted for very low share (9.79%) of international collaborative papers in its total output during 2005-14. Engineering field with 52.37% share dominated Haryana's publications output in engineering science whereas the other sub-fields (materials science, computer science, chemical engineering and energy) were distant cousins in engineering science. The top 20 most productive organizations output in Haryana had average productivity of 205.1, averaged 4.91 citations per paper, averaged h-index of 12.5, and averaged 8.68% share of international collaborative publications. The top 20 most productive authors with affiliations to Haryana had average productivity of 49.9, averaged 6.68 citations per paper, averaged h-index of 6.61, and averaged 6.51% share of international collaborative publications during 2005-14. The paper studied global research output (6700 publications) in the subfield "Linked Data", indexed in Scopus database during 1996-19, with a focus on the distribution of publications and collaborative linkages across major countries, organizations, authors, journals and disciplines. Linked Data global research output registered a 59.04% annual average growth rate and averaged to 7.21 citations per paper in 24 years. The study identified and analyzed the top 15 countries, 30 top organizations, 30 authors and the top 20 journals. The top 15 countries account for more than 100% share of global publications and citations during this period. The 2572 organizations and 6959 authors participated in global research on "Linked Data" research. The paper further provides an insight into the qualitative performance of the "Linked Data" sub-field, besides analyzing the distribution of publications across sub-fields and characteristics of high-cited research and also identifies important media of communications. The National University of Ireland and the University of Leipzig, Germany (with 286 and 194 papers each) have been the most productive organizations. The study examined global publications on information literacy research (9105) using data from the Scopus database during 2000-19. The global literacy research registered (22.17%) annual average growth and averaged (7.48) citations per paper. The 118 countries unevenly participated in global information literacy research and the top 10 countries accounted for (73.86% and 83.52%) share of the global publications and citations. A total of 589 organizations and 855 authors contributed to global information literacy research. The top 20 most productive organizations and authors together contributed (11.17% and 4.74%) share and (14.06% and 7.82%) share to global citations output. The paper studied the quantitative and qualitative dimensions of quantum dots research by India for the period 2000-2019. The data for the study was sourced from the Scopus database. India's research in this field was analyzed in the global context. India contributed 4946 publications and the global output in the subject was 92,004 publications. The study analyzed publications and citation data at the global, national, institutional, and individual author level using metrics such as publication growth, international collaborative publications, citations per paper, global publication share, and activity index. The study also analyzed data by subjects intersecting quantum dots research, by quantum dots applications, technologies, and materials studied for quantum dots research. The study highlights the topmost productive countries in the world, most productive institutions, and authors in quantum research in India. Though India ranks as the fifth most productive country in the world in quantum dots research., the body of research in the subject is still small and insignificant compared to other top countries. This study analyzed the trend in authorship patterns and collaborative research in the field of gravity with a sample of 122,133 research papers indexed in the Web of Science database. The study reveals that although multiple authorship is dominant, solo research also exists. The proportion of single-authored papers has shown a declining trend during the period 2000-2019. The collaboration index and the number of authored papers with two or more authors has been has been rising during the study period. This paper attempts to study the research performance of University of Hyderabad in terms of its research output between 1999 and 2008 including the number of papers published annually, its growth rate, publication share, quality, and citation impact of publications. The publication productivity and impact of the university under broad subject areas and departments were also examined and analyzed based on the hindex and p-index. The present study is an evaluation of the authorship and collaboration pattern in the International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology (IJIDT) during 2011-2022. A total of 563 contributions were published during the study period out of which 175 articles are published by a single author and 388 articles are published by two or more two authors. It is clear from the study that multiple authorship patterns are prominent in the IJIDT journal. In the study it has been counted that the average degree of collaboration was 1.81, the average collaboration coefficient was 0.40, the average modified collaboration coefficient was 0.40, the average relative growth rate was 0.21, and the average time to double was 5.15. The highest activity index for India is counted in the years 2015, 2016, and 2021 respectively, and the lowest activity index is counted in 2014. To assess the qualitative and quantitative development of subjects especially science subjects, Scientometrics studies are undertaken. The present paper is an attempt to assess the qualitative and quantitative research performance of two Indian institutes of Technology, namely IIT Bhubaneswar and III Patna. The study assesses 2045 papers published by scientists of Indian Institutes of Technology Bhubaneswar and 1977 papers published by scientists of Indian Institutes of Technology Patna respectively during the period 2009 to 2018, research output is retrieved and indexed in the SCOPUS bibliographic database. The study indicates that low publication output is observed in the initial years but it gradually picks its momentum from the year 2012 onwards. Almost all the most common journals were published in the advanced countries of the World. The study presents the research productivity of Hisar-based three technical universities viz. GJUS&T, CCSHAU and LUVAS during 2010-19. The study shows that the universities collaboratively produced a total of 4416 papers during 2010-2019 and received 27413 citations with an ACPP of 6.21, with maximum publications appearing in articles (85.19%) and the highly productive year was 2019 with (11.48%) publications. Maximum citations received in the year 2011 (16.99%) while highly cited three papers were published by CCSHAU and GJU. Among the three, CCSHAU produced the highest number of publications (2001) which is 45.31 percent share of total publications while GJU has the highest number of citations (18185) which is 66.33 percent of total citations of three universities. Aggarwal, A. most prolific author of GJU produced the highest number of publications (140 papers) among all prolific authors of three universities whereas the highest citations were received by Kumar, S. The paper examines the world publications output in social cloud research on a series of bibliometric indicators, deriving data from Scopus international database. The world has published 469 research publications in this field in 10 years during 2009- 18 registering (36.28%) average annual growth rate and high citation impact of (9.81%) citations per paper. This study has sought to evaluate the global sentiment analysis research (14025 records) on quantitative and qualitative metrics to understand the current status of research in the subject at global, national, institutional, and individual author level. The data for the study was sourced from the Scopus database covering the period 2003-2020. The global research in the subject registered an 81.15% annual average growth and averaged 11.91 citations per paper. India, China, and USA lead the global ranking of the top 10 most productive countries, with (18.37%, 17.71%, and 13.36%) respectively as their global publications share. The study identifies the most productive and most impactful research organizations and authors in the subject, profiles the highly cited papers, the share of international collaborative papers and the most productive source journals, and the most productive organizations as well as the leading authors. The study presents the trends in authorship pattern and author's collaborative research in IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine with a sample of 1599 journal citations collected during the period 2013-2021. The average number of authors per citation is 1.8. In the study, the degree of collaboration (C) during the overall 9 years (2013-2021) is 3.8 and the study found that in IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine multi-authored articles are high and predominant on single authorship. The study examines global research on "Quantum Robotics" on quantitative and qualitative metrics to understand the status of research in the subject at the global, national, institutional, and individual level. The analysis is based on 650 publications as indexed in the Scopus database for the period 1993-2020. The study provides a window to most productive countries, organizations and authors in the subject, provides a distribution of publications across broad subjects, identifies top modes of research communication, and describes the characteristics of highly-cited papers. The quantum robotics research registered a 33.92% annual average growth, received an average of 9.47 citations per paper (CPP) since publication during 1993-2020, which was 16.31 CPP in 1993-2006 and 8.53 CPP in 2007-2020. Only 12 of the 650 publications (1.85% share) have registered as highly cited papers. This study analyzes highly cited papers that IISERs contributed in Chemistry (62 papers) during 2008 to 2015. The data on highly cited papers was sourced from Scopus database covering only those papers that cumulate at least 40 citations in 8 years since their publication till 25 December 2015. These highly cited papers (constituting 4% share of 1551 articles in chemistry by IISERs during 2008-15) received 3963 citations, with an average of 63.9 citations per paper. IISERs contributed highest share of their highly cited papers in organic chemistry followed by inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry but registered their highest citation impact per paper in inorganic Chemistry (85.43), followed by crystal Engineering (75) and organic chemistry (66.7). IISERs collaborated with key hubs in collaborative research such as USA (7 papers), Israel (5 papers), Germany (2 papers), etc. Leading institutions in terms of MCI were: IISER Pune (0.75), followed by IISER Bhopal (0.60), IISER Mohali and IISER Thiruvananthapuram (0.50 each) and IISER Kolkata (0.44) during 2008-15. This paper examined mixed reality research published during 1994-17, on a series of bibliometric measures including growth rate, global share, citation impact, top countries, organizations and authors, preferred media of research communication and bibliographic characteristics of high cited papers. The study finds that mixed reality research registered faster (35.49%) growth, low citation impact averaged to (6.93) citations per paper, contributed too low share (0.03%) of its total research output in 24 years as highly cited papers. The USA, Japan, and Germany are seen as the world leaders in the subject, each had contributed at least 11% global publications share in 24 years. The present study examined 4884 global hip replacement surgery publications, as indexed in Scopus database during 2007-16, with a view to understand their growth rate, global share, citation impact, international collaborative papers share, distribution of publications by broad subjects, productivity and citation profile of top organizations and authors, preferred media of communication and characteristics of high cited papers. The global publications registered an annual average growth rate of 4.98% and its citation impact averaged to 12.11 citations per paper. The global share of top 10 most productive countries ranged from 3.24% to 28.52%, with largest global publication share coming from USA (28.52%), followed by UK (13.53%), etc. Together, the top 10 most productive countries accounted for 80.51% global publication share during 2007-16, increasing from 80.04% to 80.82% from 2007-11 to 2012-16. The international collaborative publications share of top 10 countries varied from 10.45% to 39.05%, with the highest share coming from Canada (39.05%), followed by Australia (37.37%), Germany (29.61%), Netherlands (28.40%), France (27.87%), U.K. (27.84%), Italy (27.81%), etc. Among seven broad subjects, medicine contributed the largest publications share of 93.08%, followed by engineering (7.47%), biochemistry, genetics & molecular biology (5.55%) etc. during 2007-16. Among various organizations and authors contributing to hip replacement surgery, the 20 most productive global organizations and authors together contributed 20.86% and 10.24% respectively as their share of global publication output and 29.69% and 18.42% respectively as their share of global citation output. Among 4776 journal papers in hip replacement surgery research, the top 15 most productive journals contributed 40.10% share of total journal publication output. 37.61% to 41.76% from 2007-11 and 2012-16. 64 publications were found to be high cited, as they registered citations from 100 to 806 during 2007-16 and they together received 11683 citations, which averaged to 182.55 citations per paper. This paper analyzes 362 research publications of the Panjab University in social sciences during ten years (2006-15), as covered in Scopus International database. The study quantifies publication data in various aspects of publication performance, such as the publication growth, research impact and quality, national and international collaboration, contribution and impact of authors, major areas of research and preferred channels of research communications. The findings reveal that Panjab University total publications in social sciences had increased at an annual average growth rate of 30.84% and registered an average citation impact per paper of 2.38 during 2006-15. Of its total publications by Panjab University in social sciences 58.01% publications did not get any citations as against 41.99% getting 1 or more citations. The 20.99% and 9.12% of the Panjab University publications in social sciences were involved in national and international collaboration during 2006-15. In terms of performance of Panjab University among the 20 most productive Indian universities in th th social sciences, Panjab University stood at 6 rank in terms of publications output, 9 rank in h-index th and 11 rank in average citation per paper during 2006-15. Of the 279 authors of Panjab University involved in 362 papers, the top 30 most productive authors in social sciences together contributed 60.5% and 73.26% share of total publications and citations of Panjab University in social sciences during 2006-15. Of the 140 journals contributing to Punjab University in social science research output, the top 29 journals together accounted for 48.07% share of the Panjab University output in social sciences during 2006-15. It is suggested that university should make concentrated efforts to improve research environment and take concrete steps to improve research output and quality and increase national and international collaboration. The present study has examined fog computing global research output, as indexed in Scopus database during 2012-18 on a series of bibliometric measures, such as publications growth rate, global publications share, citation impact, the share of international collaborative papers, distribution of publications by broad subjects. In addition, the study discusses the citation profile of top organizations and authors in fog computing, and the preferred media for research communication and characteristics of highly cited papers. The study finds 1711 global research output registered (68.09%) annual growth rate. 81 countries participated in fog computing research, of which the top 10 countries accounted for 91.23% global publication share and more than 100% of global citation share during 2012-18. China and USA tops the list of top 10 most productive countries in fog computing research with 22.38% and 19.40% global publication share, followed by India (9.70%), Italy (7.36%), Australia (6.14%), etc. USA top the list (17.02% and 2.25%), followed by Australia (15.54% and 2.06%), UK (12.09% and 1.59%), Canada (11.03% and 1.46%), Spain (9.95% and 1.32%), etc. in terms of citation impact per paper and relative citation index. 401 organizations and 457 authors participated in global fog computing research, of which the top 10 organizations and authors contributed (15.02% and 7.48%) global publication share and (42.17% and 12.81%) global citations share during 2012-18. China and USA tops the list of top 10 most productive countries in mobile edge computing research with 26.69% and 20.840% global publication share, followed by U.K. (7.29% share), Italy and Canada (6.44% and 6.11%), France (5.01%) and other 4 countries (from 3.94% to 4.86%) during 2001-18. The paper gives a reflection on the research contribution of PGIMS, Rohtak (India) from 2017 to 2021 using contents from the Scopus database. It shows the research contribution made by the medical scholars of the institute, highly prolific authors, International collaborations, and top sources preferred for publishing papers during the Penta-year period. The present study examined 3468 global publications in e-waste research, as indexed in Scopus database during 2007-16. E-waste research registered an annual average growth rate of (20.90%) and averaged 13.65 citations per paper. Among broad subjects, environmental science accounted for the highest publications share (52.13%) in e-waste research, followed by engineering (28.81%), chemistry (12.95%), materials science (10.76%), and others. The top 20 productive organizations and authors accounted for (25.29%) and (16.49%) global publications share respectively and (44.37%) and (40.11%) global citations share respectively during the period. The global e-waste research (2537) is widely scattered across journals, with the top 15 most productive journals accounted for (42.81%) share of total output reported in journal medium during the period. The study examines quantitative and qualitative features of global research output (557) in the domain of Bibliometric-enhanced Information Retrieval (BIR), an upcoming field of research in the discipline of library and information science. The data for the study was sourced from the Scopus database for the period 1989-2020. The BIR research at the global level registered (22.17%) annual average growth and averaged research impact of (21.69%) citations per paper since publication. Although a total of 60 countries had participated in the subject, the distribution of research by country of publication is highly skewed. The top 10 most productive countries in the world alone account for the largest (92.64%) global publications share and (93.16%) global citations share in the subject. At the institutional level, the distribution of research in the subject is scattered across a total of 290 global organizations. The top 10 most productive organizations alone account for (22.62%) global publication share and a (15.55%) global citation share. The paper examines the bibliometric analysis of the Journal "Apeejay Business Review" (ABR) from the year 2000 to 2018. The collected data from the 19 volumes are summarized in nine tables. Authorship pattern and collaborative research trends are studied in the field of veterinary medicine based on the data collected from 'Indian Journal of Veterinary Medicine' published during the period 1999 - 2007. The present study examined 1306 global publications in Ocimum Sanctum, as covered in multidisciplinary Scopus bibliographical database during 2008-17, with a view to understand their growth rate, global share, citation impact, international collaborative papers share, distribution of publications by broad subjects, productivity and citation profile of top organizations and authors, preferred media of communication and bibliographic characteristics of high cited papers. The global publications registered an annual average growth rate of 11.85% and its citation impact averaged to 8.84 citations per paper. Among the top 10 most productive countries, India contributed the global share of more than 79.94% and other top 9 countries global share ranged from 1.0% to 3.37% only. 96.48% of the cumulative global publication share comes from top 10 countries Pharmacology, Toxicology & Pharmaceutics, among seven broad subjects, contributed the largest publications share of 44.41%. Neurotoxicity occurs when the exposure to natural or artificial toxic substances, which are called neurotoxins, alters the normal activity of the nervous system in such a way as to cause damage to nervous tissue. This paper analyzes 833 research publications of the Panjab University in chemistry during eight years (2008-15), as covered in Scopus International database. The study quantifies publication data in various aspects of performance, such as the publication growth, research impact and quality, national and international collaboration, contribution and impact of authors, major areas of research and preferred channels of research communications and characteristics of higher cited papers. The findings reveal that Panjab University total publications in chemistry has increased at an annual average growth rate of 17.04% and registered an average citation impact per paper of 6.38 during 2008-15. Of its total publications (833), 22.33% publications of Panjab University did not get any citations as against 77.67% getting 1 or more citations. The present study explores the publication trends of scholarly papers in Defence Science Journal (DSJ). DSJ is a bimonthly publication of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is published by the Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), Delhi since 1949. It is published in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November. It publishes original research papers in various disciplines of science and technology. The study examines the content of papers published during 2007- 2011, including the annual average growth rate (%), authorship pattern, degree of collaboration, length of papers, distribution of citations, keywords, geographical scatter, length of papers, most prolific author etc. Collaboration was calculated using Subramanyam's formula, chi square was used to identify the statistical significance and Lotka's Inverse Square Law was used to identify author's productivity. The total of 3,818 publications collected from the Web of Science database had their collected data measured using scientometric techniques. The search strategy TS=topic for black holes research was refined to 15 years, from 2008 to 2022, and only selected Indian research productivity. The collected data was measured from various angles and types of documents, with 97.590% articles and the highest annual growth rate of 23.664% in 2018. The most prolific author, Ajith Parameshwaran, from the Bangalore International Center for theoretical science, published 119 papers with 32,405 citations (61 h-index). The Journal of Physical Review is the most prolific, with 604 publications and 16,068 citations. The most frequent keyword occurrences are "black holes," with 435 reflected. The Department of Science and Technology in New Delhi is the most prolific, having published 664 papers with a total of 14,346 citations (58 h-index). The black research involved 80 countries, out of which India secured the 8th place in the world's contribution. The study reported 24.66% annual average growth rate of publications and citation impact of 11.784 citations per paper. The global publications on "Green Supply Chain Management" came from 73 countries, of which the top 10 accounted for 84.15% of global publication share during 2006-15. A total of 372 organizations and 160 authors participated in global research on "Green Supply Chain Management" during 2006-15, of which the top 15 most productive organizations contributed 20.38% publications share and accounted for 55.16% citations share. The present study explores bibliometric analysis of the research output of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology during 1999-2018. The data was extracted from SCOPUS database and produced a total of 2072 publications that were recognized to authors affiliated to GJUS&T. The publication data was analysed in terms of various bibliometric indicators viz. growth of research output, publication types, subject-wise distribution of publications, collaborative institutions, topmost preferred journals, topmost prolific authors, citation distribution and top cited papers of the university during the period under study. Findings reveal that there was a steady rise in the publications and GJUS&T has recorded an annual growth rate of 31.72%. The average citation per paper was found 13.67. Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics (394 papers; 11.31 %) was the most favored subject category among authors. GJUS&T has the maximum number of collaborative scientific papers (137) with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The most preferred journal for publication was AIP conference proceedings. Ashish Agarwal from Applied Physics department was identified as the most productive author with 155 publications, whereas V.K Garg from the department of Environmental Science & Engineering had the highest h-index (41) and average citation per paper (46.17) as well. The paper examines 5407 Indian publications in catalysis research, as covered in Scopus database during 2006-15, using a series of bibliometric indicators. Catalysis research in the world is dominated mainly by 10 main countries including China, USA, Japan, India, Germany, France, South Korea, Iran, Spain and U.K. which together accounted for as much as 82.45% of the global publication share in catalysis research output during 2006-15. China is the world leader in catalysis research (28.12% global share) followed far behind by USA (14.93% global share). India is ranked 4th top country in the world in catalysis research for its global share of 5.94% in 10 years during 2006-15. India's collaboration on catalysis research was the largest with the USA accounting for 22.54% ICP share, followed by Japan (17.01%), South Korea (13.22%), and 12 other countries during 2006-15. India registered faster annual growth in catalysis research (10.8%) compared to 5.78% by the total world countries. India's citation impact in catalysis research in 10 years averaged to 24.30 citations per paper. India contributed only 50 cited papers which registered 100 or more citations per paper, averaging citation impact to 141.56 citations per paper. The leading Indian organizations in highly cited papers are: IICT-Hyderabad (11 papers), NCL-Pune and University of Delhi (4 papers each), IISC-Bangalore, IIT-New Delhi and NIPERMohali (3 papers each), etc. Catalysis research in India mainly chemistry oriented which contributed the largest share (68.24%) during 2006-15. This paper evaluates comparative R&D status and performance of Haryana and India in life sciences, physical sciences, medical sciences, engineering sciences, and social sciences using bibliometric indicators. The data for the study was sourced from SCOPUS database covering the period 2005-14. The study revealed that Haryana registered faster growth (14.65%) in R&D output than the whole nation (11.91%). India's research base in R&D sector is 40 times bigger (781,392) than that of Haryana (19,464 publications). Haryana registered 2.49% national share in the total output by India during 2005-14. The national and international collaborative share of publications in Haryana's output were 19.96% and 11.23% during 2005-14. Life sciences accounted for the largest share (31.15%), followed by medical sciences (22.64%), engineering sciences (21.85%), physical sciences (19.42% share), and social sciences (4.95%). The most productive 25 organizations, 20 authors and 20 journals together accounted for 75.87%, 9.24% and 18.03% share respectively of the Haryana's research output during 2005-14. In the total output of Haryana, there were only 54 highly cited papers, which received citations from 100 to 1096. Together these highly cited papers received 10049 citations, with an average of 186.09 citations per paper. The leading institutions in highly cited papers were G.J.
