Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are useful tools for many applications. However, autonomous path planning for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in unfamiliar environments is a challenging problem when facing a series of problems such as poor consistency, high influence by the native controller of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In this paper, we investigate reinforcement learning-based autonomous local path planning methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with high autonomous decision-making capability and locally high portability. We propose an autonomous local path planning algorithm based on the TD3 strategy to solve the problem of local obstacle avoidance and path planning in unfamiliar environments using autonomous decision-making of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The simulation results on Gazebo show that our method can effectively realize the autonomous local path planning task for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the success rate of path planning with our method can reach 93% under the interference of no obstacles, and 92% in the environment with obstacles. In industry, the task of defect classification and defect localization is an important part of defect detection system. However, existing studies only focus on one task and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of both tasks. This paper proposes a defect detection system based on improved Yolo_v4, which greatly improves the detection ability of minor defects. For K_Means algorithm clustering prianchors question with strong subjectivity, the paper proposes the Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm to determine the number of Anchors. To solve the problem of low detection rate of small targets caused by insufficient reuse rate of low-level features in CSPDarknet53 feature extraction network, this paper proposes an ECA-DenseNet-BC-121 feature extraction network to improve it. And the Dual Channel Feature Enhancement (DCFE) module is proposed to improve the local information loss and gradient propagation obstruction caused by quad chain convolution in PANet networks to improve the robustness of the model. The experimental results on the fabric surface defect detection datasets show that the mAP of the improved Yolo_v4 is 98.97%, which is 7.67% higher than SSD, 3.75% higher than Faster_RCNN, 10.82% higher than Yolo_v4 tiny, and 5.35% higher than Yolo_v4, and the detection speed reaches 39.4 fps. The optimal operation of reservoir groups is a strongly constrained, multi-stage, and high-dimensional optimization problem. In response to this issue, this article couples the standard Pelican optimization algorithm with adaptive ε constraint methods, and further improves the optimization performance of the algorithm by initializing the population with a good point set, reverse differential evolution, and optimal individual t-distribution perturbation strategy. Based on this, an improved Pelican algorithm coupled with adaptive ε constraint method is proposed (ε-IPOA). The performance of the algorithm was tested through 24 constraint testing functions to find the optimal ability and solve constraint optimization problems. The results showed that the algorithm has strong optimization ability and stable performance. In this paper, we select Sanmenxia and Xiaolangdi reservoirs as the research objects, establish the maximum peak-cutting model of terrace reservoirs, apply the ε-IPOA algorithm to solve the model, and compare it with the ε-POA (Pelican algorithm coupled with adaptive ε constraint method) and ε-DE (Differential Evolution Algorithm) algorithms, the results indicate that ε. The peak flow rate of the Huayuankou control point solved by the IPOA algorithm is 12,319 m3/s, which is much lower than the safe overflow flow rate of 22,000 m3/s at the Huayuankou control point, with a peak shaving rate of 44%, and other algorithms do not find effective solutions meeting the constraint conditions. Fog computing aims to mitigate data communication delay by deploying fog nodes to provide servers in the proximity of users and offload resource-hungry tasks that would otherwise be sent to distant cloud servers. In this paper, we propose an effective fog device deployment algorithm based on a new metaheuristic algorithm–search economics–to solve the optimization problem for the deployment of fog computing systems. The term "effective" in this paper refers to that the developed algorithm can achieve better performance in terms of metrics such as lower latency and less resource usage. Compared with conventional metaheuristic algorithms, the proposed algorithm is unique in that it first divides the solution space into a set of regions to increase search diversity of the search and then allocates different computational resources to each region according to its potential. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, we compare it with several classical fog computing deployment algorithms. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm provides lower network latency and higher quality of service than the other deployment algorithms evaluated in this study. The Fennec Fox algorithm (FFA) is a new meta-heuristic algorithm that is primarily inspired by the Fennec fox's ability to dig and escape from wild predators. Compared with other classical algorithms, FFA shows strong competitiveness. The "No free lunch" theorem shows that an algorithm has different effects in the face of different problems, such as: when solving high-dimensional or more complex applications, there are challenges such as easily falling into local optimal and slow convergence speed. To solve this problem with FFA, in this paper, an improved Fenna fox algorithm DEMFFA is proposed by adding sin chaotic mapping, formula factor adjustment, Cauchy operator mutation, and differential evolution mutation strategies. Firstly, a sin chaotic mapping strategy is added in the initialization stage to make the population distribution more uniform, thus speeding up the algorithm convergence speed. Secondly, in order to expedite the convergence speed of the algorithm, adjustments are made to the factors of the formula whose position is updated in the first stage, resulting in faster convergence. Finally, in order to prevent the algorithm from getting into the local optimal too early and expand the search space of the population, the Cauchy operator mutation strategy and differential evolution mutation strategy are added after the first and second stages of the original algorithm update. In order to verify the performance of the proposed DEMFFA, qualitative analysis is carried out on different test sets, and the proposed algorithm is tested with the original FFA, other classical algorithms, improved algorithms, and newly proposed algorithms on three different test sets. And we also carried out a qualitative analysis of the CEC2020. In addition, DEMFFA is applied to 10 practical engineering design problems and a complex 24-bar truss topology optimization problem, and the results show that the DEMFFA algorithm has the potential to solve complex problems. The Manta Ray Foraging Optimization Algorithm (MRFO) is a metaheuristic algorithm for solving real-world problems. However, MRFO suffers from slow convergence precision and is easily trapped in a local optimal. Hence, to overcome these deficiencies, this paper proposes an Improved MRFO algorithm (IMRFO) that employs Tent chaotic mapping, the bidirectional search strategy, and the Levy flight strategy. Among these strategies, Tent chaotic mapping distributes the manta ray more uniformly and improves the quality of the initial solution, while the bidirectional search strategy expands the search area. The Levy flight strategy strengthens the algorithm's ability to escape from local optimal. To verify IMRFO's performance, the algorithm is compared with 10 other algorithms on 23 benchmark functions, the CEC2017 and CEC2022 benchmark suites, and five engineering problems, with statistical analysis illustrating the superiority and significance of the difference between IMRFO and other algorithms. Because of the open-collaborative of online encyclopedias, a large number of knowledge triples are improperly classified in online encyclopedia systems, and it is necessary to denoise and refine the open-domain encyclopedia Knowledge Bases (KBs) to improve the quality and precision. However, the lack and inaccuracy of triple semantic features lead to a poor refinement effect. In addition, considering large-scale encyclopedia KBs, the processing of massive knowledge will lead to too much computing time and poor scalability of the algorithm. To solve the problems of knowledge denoising in the Chinese encyclopedia system, first, based on data field theory, this paper proposes a new Cartesian product mapping-based method (TripleES) to calculate the semantic similarity of entity triples, based on which a method for quantifying the quality of entry tags is proposed. Second, to further improve the denoising effect on KBs, this paper proposes a new method (TriplePV) to compute the potential value of triple based on multi-feature fusion strategy to calculate the semantic distance between the "out-of-vocabulary" entry tags and embeds it into the potential function. Third, to ensure our algorithms have good scalability, the proposed denoising algorithms are implemented and optimized in parallel based on the Spark cluster-computing framework. Specifically, Spark-based TripleES (ES_Spark) and Spark-based TriplePV (PV_Spark) algorithms are proposed to calculate the semantic similarity and potential value of triples respectively. Finally, a comprehensive comparative analysis is performed on the denoising effect and time efficiency with the state-of-the-art distributed Chinese encyclopedia knowledge denoising algorithm. The experimental results on real-world datasets show that the parallel denoising algorithm proposed in this paper can improve the efficiency of knowledge denoising and the accuracy of KBs, which outperforms the state-of-the-art methods. In the field of intelligent manufacturing, robot grasping and sorting is important content. However, there are some disadvantages in the traditional single-view-based manipulator grasping methods by using a 2D camera, where the efficiency and the accuracy of grasping are both low when facing the scene of stacking and occlusion for the reason that there is information missing by single-view 2D camera-based methods while acquiring scene information, and the methods of grasping only can't change the difficult-to-grasp scene which is stack and occluded. Regarding the issue above, a pushing-grasping collaborative method based on the deep Q-network in dual viewpoints is proposed in this paper. This method in this paper adopts an improved deep Q-network algorithm, with an RGB-D camera to obtain the information of objects' RGB images and point clouds from two viewpoints, which solved the problem of lack of information missing. What's more, it combines the pushing and grasping actions with the deep Q-network, which make it have the ability of active exploration, so that the trained manipulator can make the scenes less stacking and occlusion, and with the help of that, it can perform well in more complicated grasping scenes. In addition, we improved the reward function of the deep Q-network and propose the piecewise reward function to speed up the convergence of the deep Q-network. We trained different models and tried different methods in the V-REP simulation environment, and it drew a conclusion that the method proposed in this paper converges quickly and the success rate of grasping objects in unstructured scenes raises up to 83.5%. Metaheuristic algorithms, widely applied across various domains due to their simplicity and strong optimization capabilities, play a crucial role in problem-solving. While the Aquila Optimizer is recognized for its effectiveness, it often exhibits slow convergence rates and susceptibility to local optima in certain scenarios. To address these concerns, this paper introduces an enhanced version, termed Tent-enhanced Aquila Optimizer (TEAO). TEAO incorporates the Tent chaotic map to initialize the Aquila population, promoting a more uniform distribution within the solution space. To balance exploration and exploitation, novel formulas are proposed, accelerating convergence while ensuring precision. The effectiveness of the TEAO algorithm is validated through a comprehensive comparison with 14 state-of-the-art algorithms using 23 classical benchmark test functions. Additionally, to assess the practical feasibility of the approach, TEAO is applied to six constrained engineering problems and benchmarked against the performance of the same 14 algorithms. All experimental results consistently demonstrate that TEAO outperforms other advanced algorithms in terms of solution quality and stability, establishing it as a more competitive choice for optimization tasks. This paper addresses the challenging problem of developing the automatic algorithm for solving direct current circuit problem. Leveraging on the innovated methods it proposes a high-performance relation based algorithm, called RaDCC. The challenges of the problem lie in relation acquisition and relation inference presentation after adopting the newly-established relation principle of solving problems. A high-performance procedure is developed for the challenging task of relation acquisition by leveraging on three innovated methods. Three methods are an enhanced schematics understanding method that can understand complicated structures of schematics, an extended syntax-semantics model method and a unit-theorem inference method to acquire schematic relations, explicit text relations and implicit text relations, respectively. To address another challenging problem of readable solution generation an action-schema presentation method is proposed to convert relation inference actions into relation inference presentations. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is high-performance since it achieves an accuracy of over 83.2% for solving problems from textbooks and 70.6% for solving problems from examination papers on a dataset that contains 1012 direct current circuit problems collected from the authority sources, much higher than the performance of the baseline algorithm. Meta-heuristic algorithms have been extensively utilized in feature selection tasks because they can obtain the global optimal solution. However, the meta-heuristic algorithm will take too much time in the face of a large number of samples. Although most of the studies compromise to approximate optimal solutions for avoiding time-consuming problems, a new problem with reduced classification performance, especially classification stability, is then generated. Aiming to above problems, this paper proposes a new feature selection framework. First, this framework exploits a voting ensemble strategy to improve classification stability by reducing the impact of misclassified labels on the overall classification results. Second, the framework uses a data perturbation strategy to enhance classification accuracy. In particular, the data perturbation strategy is able to generate more neighborhood relationships in the dataset, which could reveal the distribution of various features of the samples. A voting ensemble of different feature distributions is capable of extracting more information from the dataset, then the initially misclassified samples are more likely to be returned to the correct classification. Third, the framework takes a random sampling accelerator into account to solve the problem of excessive time consumption by reducing the size of the search sample space. Finally, for the sake of verifying the effectiveness of the proposed framework, four meta-heuristic feature selection methods based on a neighborhood rough set are compared on 20 datasets. In this paper, we study a class of nonconvex and nonsmooth optimization problems, whose objective function can be split into two separable terms and one coupling term. Alternating proximal gradient methods combining with extrapolation are proposed to solve such problems. Under some assumptions, we prove that every cluster point of the sequence generated by our algorithms is a critical point. Furthermore, if the objective function satisfies Kurdyka–Łojasiewicz property, the generated sequence is globally convergent to a critical point. In order to make the algorithm more effective and flexible, we also use some strategies to update the extrapolation parameter and solve the problems with unknown Lipschitz constant. In order to improve tracking accuracy of time-varying sparse signals, a sparse state Kalman filter algorithm based on Kalman gain matrix is proposed in this paper. Under the constraint of sparse state, minimizing the mean square error and solving the optimization problem by using the symmetrical alternating direction multiplier method (symmetrical ADMM), while keeping the update expression of state estimation unchanged, a Kalman gain matrix is obtained which can make the state estimation sparse. In addition, this paper also discusses two different sparse constraints which are L1 norm constraint and cardinality function constraint. The proposed algorithm can be implemented under the framework of conventional Kalman filter algorithm, no need to introduce additional frameworks. Two groups of dynamic signal models, a slow change of signal and a random walk of nonzero elements, are simulated. To solve the problem of low accuracy of traditional travel route recommendation algorithm, a travel route recommendation algorithm based on interest theme and distance matching is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the real historical travel footprints of users are obtained through analysis. Then, the user's preferences of interest theme and distance matching are proposed based on the user's stay in each scenic spot. Finally, the optimal travel route calculation method is designed under the given travel time limit, starting point, and end point. Experiments on the real data set of the Flickr social network showed that the proposed algorithm has a higher accuracy rate and recall rate, compared with the traditional algorithm that only considers the interest theme and the algorithm which only considers the distance matching. In this paper the step by step descent algorithm is extended to continuous optimization problems and applied to the optimal sizing of truss structures. The step by step descent method, recently developed, was applied to the discrete optimization of rigid structures. To solve continuous problems, a multi-stage optimization algorithm is proposed, which involves implementing the step by step descent method in multiple stages. In each stage, the continuous areas of the variables are progressively divided into a finite number of points. The algorithm is based on the search for the steepest gradient descent direction that minimizes the cost function and employs a wise heuristic approach to bypassing local optima. To evaluate the algorithm's performance, a study was carried out on ten mathematical and four truss optimization problems. For unconstrained mathematical problems, the algorithm demonstrates quick converges to optimum solution from any starting point. For truss structures, the starting design point is selected based on structural knowledge to enhance convergence speed. Outlier detection is a hot research topic in data mining, and its requirements for algorithms to engage with various complex-shaped datasets more effectively are also increasing. This paper conducts in-depth research on the existing problems, which focuses on the low-density pattern and the local outliers detection of the outlier detection algorithms. In order to resolve these problems, We present a double-weighted outlier detection (DDW) algorithm considering the dense direction, which simultaneously considers the distance and orientation relationship of the neighborhood distribution. In DDW, we first propose a concept of dense direction, which moves the research object of the algorithm from a point to a region to explore the relationship between the data points and the distribution of their neighbors more comprehensively. Then, we design a new point weighting strategy by exploring the point distribution of the neighborhood indicated by the dense directions of different data points and design a new edge weighting strategy where we give the edge weights to the edges between data points and their neighbors to better represent the closeness of data points. After that, we design a new double-weighted method that further actualizes the complementary advantages of the point weighting strategy and the edge weighting strategy to solve the problem that the existing outlier detection algorithms cannot fully characterize the potential structural information inside the data. The final comprehensive experiment shows that our proposed method not only eliminates the defect that traditional outlier detection algorithms are sensitive to neighboring parameters but our proposal also has higher detection accuracy of local outlier detection than many current methods on both synthetic and UCI datasets. The Learning With Errors (LWE) problem is widely used in lattice-based cryptography, which is the most promising post-quantum cryptography direction. There are a variety of LWE-solving methods, which can be classified into four groups: lattice methods, algebraic methods, combinatorial methods, and exhaustive searching. The Blum–Kalai–Wasserman (BKW) algorithm is an important variety of combinatorial algorithms, which was first presented for solving the Learning Parity With Noise (LPN) problem and then extended to solve LWE. In this paper, we give an overview of BKW algorithms for solving LWE. We introduce the framework and key techniques of BKW algorithms and make comparisons between different BKW algorithms and also with lattice methods by estimating concrete security of specific LWE instances. There are many large-scale sparse multi-objective optimization problems in real life, but it is difficult to solve such problems due to the high dimension of decision variables and the excessive sparseness of Pareto optimal solutions. To address these issues, this paper proposes a quadratic association vector and dynamic guided operator search algorithm for large-scale sparse multi-objective optimization problems. Firstly, according to the individual distribution in the decision space, the reference vector is used to quadratically associate the individual, aiming to find better solutions during the initialization process. Secondly, the dynamic guided operator is introduced into the crossover mutation. The population is guided to evolve toward the sparse optimal solution by flipping the real and binary variables according to the dynamic guided operator. Thirdly, individuals are selected into the mating pool for crossover mutation based on the decision variables of the population individuals, with the aim of further enhancing the convergence of the algorithm. The experimental results on eight benchmark problems show that the algorithm obtains the best comprehensive performance on 66.7% of the test problems. Existing software intelligent defect classification approaches do not consider radar characters and prior statistics information. Thus, when applying these appaoraches into radar software testing and validation, the precision rate and recall rate of defect classification are poor and have effect on the reuse effectiveness of software defects. To solve this problem, a new intelligent defect classification approach based on the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic model is proposed for radar software in this paper. The proposed approach includes the defect text segmentation algorithm based on the dictionary of radar domain, the modified LDA model combining radar software requirement, and the top acquisition and classification approach of radar software defect based on the modified LDA model. The proposed approach is applied on the typical radar software defects to validate the effectiveness and applicability. The application results illustrate that the prediction precison rate and recall rate of the poposed approach are improved up to 15 ~ 20% compared with the other defect classification approaches. Thus, the proposed approach can be applied in the segmentation and classification of radar software defects effectively to improve the identifying adequacy of the defects in radar software. The optimization problems with a sparsity constraint is a class of important global optimization problems. A typical type of thresholding algorithms for solving such a problem adopts the traditional full steepest descent direction or Newton-like direction as a search direction to generate an iterate on which a certain thresholding is performed. Traditional hard thresholding discards a large part of a vector, and thus some important information contained in a dense vector has been lost in such a thresholding process. Recent study (Zhao in SIAM J Optim 30(1): 31–55, 2020) shows that the hard thresholding should be applied to a compressible vector instead of a dense vector to avoid a big loss of information. On the other hand, the optimal k-thresholding as a novel thresholding technique may overcome the intrinsic drawback of hard thresholding, and performs thresholding and objective function minimization simultaneously. This motivates us to propose the so-called partial gradient optimal thresholding (PGOT) method and its relaxed versions in this paper. The PGOT is an integration of the partial gradient and the optimal k-thresholding technique. The solution error bound and convergence for the proposed algorithms have been established in this paper under suitable conditions. Application of our results to the sparse optimization problems arising from signal recovery is also discussed. The sparse triangular solver (SpTRSV) is mostly used for scientific and engineering applications. The structured-grid triangular solver of regular dependencies (STRSV) is a special kind of SpTRSV. Some general SpTRSVs that disregards the regularity of the matrix are unsuitable for solving this problem. This paper proposes an efficient parallel algorithm for STRSV on the SW26010 (a kind of China independently designed many-core processors), namely swStructTRSV. The algorithm makes full use of the fine-grained and low latency communication characteristics of the SW26010 to reduce the waiting time for synchronization, maximizes the regularity of access to improve memory access bandwidth, and achieves overlap between memory access and computation simultaneously. Moreover, the idea of the algorithm can be extended to incomplete LU factorization (ILU factorization) because of consistent dependencies. The experimental results on a core group(8 * 8 network composed of 64 cores) of SW26010 show that swStructTRSV can achieve an average speedup of over 30 in the sequential version. swStructTRSV on SW26010 achieves solving speedups of 2.2 and 6.3 over the fast STRSV (fSpTRSV) previously implemented on SW26010 and MKL on Intel Xeon Gold 6132, respectively. swStructTRSV significantly outperforms cuSparse on NVIDIA TITAN RTX in terms of overall execution time. Bridging the different parts together is considered a simple but effective strategy to reduce the number of piercing operations during laser cutting. However, fast bridging is never an easy task. In this paper, we present a near-linear bridging algorithm for the input parts with the shortest total bridge length. At first, the input part contours are discretized into a point cloud, then the point cloud is triangulated with the Delaunay standard. The shortest line segments between any two adjacent parts are found in the triangles connecting the two parts. These segments are finally extended into bridges. To solve the problem of the damages to the contour characteristics caused by the bridges, some restrictions are set on the screening of the discrete point cloud and the Delaunay triangles. This algorithm not only ensures the minimum total distance of all bridges, but also avoids the problem of generating bridge loops. Computational experiments show that the proposed bridging algorithm is much faster than that in existing commercial software. The results of a parallel implementation of a randomized vector algorithm for solving systems of linear equations are presented in the paper. The solution is represented in the form of a Neumann series. The stochastic method computes this series by sampling only random columns, avoiding multiplication of matrix by matrix and matrix by vector. We consider the case when the matrix is too large to fit in random-access memory (RAM). We use two approaches to solve this problem. In the first approach, the matrix is divided into parts that are distributed among MPI processes and stored in the available RAM of the cluster nodes. In the second approach, the entire matrix is stored on each node's hard drive, loaded into RAM, and processed in parts. Independent Monte Carlo experiments for random column indices are distributed among MPI processes or OpenMP threads for both approaches to matrix storage. Non-convex regularization has been recognized as an especially important approach in recent studies to promote sparsity. In this paper, we study the non-convex piecewise quadratic approximation (PQA) regularization for sparse solutions of the linear inverse problem. It is shown that exact recovery of sparse signals and stable recovery of compressible signals are possible through local optimum of this regularization. After developing a thresholding representation theory for PQA regularization, we propose an iterative PQA thresholding algorithm (PQA algorithm) to solve this problem. The PQA algorithm converges to a local minimizer of the regularization, with an eventually linear convergence rate. Furthermore, we adopt the idea of accelerated gradient method to design the accelerated iterative PQA thresholding algorithm (APQA algorithm), which is also linearly convergent, but with a faster convergence rate. Finally, we carry out a series of numerical experiments to assess the performance of both algorithms for PQA regularization. Fault diagnosis of interconnection networks is vital to ensuring the reliability and maintenance of multiprocessor systems. Based on graph theory, diagnostic algorithms for solving the problem of fault diagnosis in interconnection networks have been widely studied. As the number of processors in multiprocessor systems has increased in recent years, fault diagnosis algorithms based on graph theory cannot meet the current diagnosis requirements of some interconnection networks, such as t-diagnosable systems. In this paper, we use the evolution diagnosis approach to study fault diagnosis in t-diagnosable systems under the PMC model. First, for a t-diagnosable system G with a syndrome σ , we use a simple centralized algorithm to generate its simplified diagnosis graph G f , which contains all the faulty nodes in G. Based on the graph, we prove that the faulty node set in G is the minimum cover set of G f . Next, we prove that the problem of computing the minimum cover set for G f is equivalent to the problem of computing the optimal solution of a zero-one integer program. Using this result, we propose a novel genetic algorithm to solve the problem of the zero-one integer program. The simulation results show that the diagnostic accuracy of our proposed algorithm is equal to or greater than 96% and that the proposed algorithm outperforms its competitors in terms of diagnostic accuracy, number of iterations and running time. The detection and tracking of small and weak maneuvering radar targets in complex electromagnetic environments is still a difficult problem to effectively solve. To address this problem, this paper proposes a dynamic programming tracking-before-detection method based on a long short-term memory (LSTM) network (LSTM-DP-TBD). With the predicted target motion state provided by the LSTM network, the state transition range of the traditional DP-TBD algorithm can be updated in real time, and the detection and tracking effect achieved for maneuvering small and weak targets is also improved. Utilizing the LSTM network to model the moving state of the target, the moving features of the maneuvering target can be learned from the noisy input data. By incorporating these features into the traditional DP-TBD algorithm, the state transition set can be adjusted in time with the changes in the moving state of the target so that the new algorithm is capable of effectively recursively accumulating the movement trend of the maneuvering small and weak target. Simulation results show that the new algorithm is able to effectively accomplish the task of detecting and tracking maneuvering small and weak targets, and it achieves improved detection and tracking probabilities. With the rapid development of deep learning, in recent years, many excellent deep learning models have been developed to solve the problem of video frame prediction. Among them, most models directly generate predicted target frames. However, the predicted frames obtained in this way are often fuzzy and not realistic enough. In order to solve this problem, this paper first attempts to integrate the attention mechanism with Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory, and correspondingly proposes a new deep learning model, abbreviated as AttConvLSTM. One prominent and original characteristic of this newly constructed model is that, each of its layer calculates the attention weight of the obtained information, focusing on the information key part. Although the proposed AttConvLSTM model effectively improves the prediction accuracy, it still does not solve the problem that the prediction frames directly generated by classical deep learning models are often fuzzy and not realistic. Therefore, inspired by the concept of optical flow, this work further develops a novel Deep Pixel Restoration AttConvLSTM (DPRAConvLSTM) model. This model cleverly uses the input frames and the end-to-end characteristics of deep learning. We innovatively restore the pixels of the input frames to the predicted frames, thereby avoiding the defects that typical deep learning models can easily cause, when directly generating the predicted frames. The experimental results effectively confirm that the finally formed DPRAConvLSTM model can not only improve the accuracy of prediction, but also obtain clearer and more realistic prediction frames. In this paper, we extend the purely dual formulation that we recently proposed for the three-dimensional assignment problems to solve the more general multidimensional assignment problem. The convex dual representation is derived and its relationship to the Lagrangian relaxation method that is usually used to solve multidimensional assignment problems is investigated. Also, we discuss the condition under which the duality gap is zero. It is also pointed out that the process of Lagrangian relaxation is essentially equivalent to one of relaxing the binary constraint condition, thus necessitating the auction search operation to recover the binary constraint. Furthermore, a numerical algorithm based on the dual formulation along with a local search strategy is presented. This paper analyses the mechanism of tensor projection transformation in depth and introduces a high-efficiency original algorithm developed in a quantum computing language for forward and backward projection between multidimensional tensors and one-dimensional vectors. Additionally, the author compares this algorithm with similar methods from both the Python scientific computing package and other relative development kits in method calls and source code to demonstrate the innovation of the tensor projection algorithm. With the rapid development of computer hardware in the past three decades, various classic algorithms such as neural computing and bionic optimization computing have been widely used in practical problems. This paper extended the new bionic algorithm-flock algorithm proposed in 2014 and obtained a multi-objective flock algorithm to solve the multi-objective problem. This study used aggregate functions to define social ranks, and simulated the foraging behavior of chickens in the process of searching for food in the objective space and found the balance between diversity and convergence when looking for the best Pareto solution. The algorithm took five types of bi-objective functions and four types of three-objective functions as objects and compared it with four more widely used algorithms in multi-objective problems. Identifying the location of the sensor nodes is a challenging aspect of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in a distributed environment. It is vital to understand where data and events come from when sensor nodes collect data and report on them. This paper uses a nature-inspired Jaya algorithm to estimate the location coordinates of target nodes in a distributed architecture of WSNs. The Jaya algorithm handles the nonlinear optimization problem of node localization in a randomly distributed sensor node configuration. The range-based, Received Signal Strength Indicator method is used for the distance estimation. MATLAB software is used to assess the proposed work, and a comparison is made with the Particle Swarm Optimization, Krill Herd Optimization, and Salp Swarm Algorithm based node localization algorithms in terms of localization error and computation time. In this paper, we propose a new inertial iterative method to solve classical variational inequalities with pseudomonotone and Lipschitz continuous operators in the setting of a real Hilbert space. The proposed iterative scheme is basically analogous to the extragradient method used to solve the problems of variational inequalities in real Hilbert spaces. The strong convergence of the proposed algorithm is set up with the prior knowledge of Lipschitz's constant of an operator. Harris hawks optimization (HHO) is a new meta-heuristic algorithm that builds a model by imitating the predation process of Harris hawks. In order to solve the problems of poor convergence speed caused by uniform choice position update formula in the exploration stage of basic HHO and falling into local optimization caused by insufficient population richness in the later stage of the algorithm, a Harris hawks optimization based on global cross-variation and tent mapping (CRTHHO) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the tent mapping is introduced in the exploration stage to optimize random parameter q to speed up the convergence in the early stage. Secondly, the crossover mutation operator is introduced to cross and mutate the global optimal position in each iteration process. The greedy strategy is used to select, which prevents the algorithm from falling into local optimal because of skipping the optimal solution and improves the convergence accuracy of the algorithm. In order to investigate the performance of CRTHHO, experiments are carried out on ten benchmark functions and the CEC2017 test set. Fitness landscape analysis is a tool that can help us gain insight into a problem, determine how hard it is to solve a problem using a given algorithm, choose an algorithm for solving a given problem, or choose good algorithm parameters for solving the problem. In this paper, fitness landscape analysis of hyperheuristics is used for clustering instances of three scheduling problems. After that, good parameters for tree-based genetic programming that can solve a given scheduling problem are calculated automatically for every cluster. Additionally, we introduce tree editing operators which help in the calculation of fitness landscape features in tree based genetic programming. A heuristic is proposed based on introduced operators, and it calculates the distance between any two trees. Mining sequential rules from a sequence database usually returns a set of rules with great cardinality. However, in real world applications, the end-users are often interested in a subset of sequential rules. Particularly, they may consider only rules that contain a specific set of items. The naïve strategy is to apply such itemset constraints into the post-processing step. However, such approaches require much effort and time. This paper proposes the effective methods for integrating itemset constraints into the actual mining process. We proposed two algorithms, namely MSRIC-R and MSRIC-P, to solve this problem in which MSRIC-R pushed the constraints into the rule generating phase, and MSRIC-P pushes into the pattern mining phase. In this paper, a novel parallel algorithm is proposed to solve the problems of heavy computation and long simulation time in the field of compressible flows. In this algorithm, a third-order upwind scheme and a fourth-order central difference scheme are employed, with a third-order Runge-Kutta method for time stepping. Considering the powerful floating-point computing ability of the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), this paper establishes the algorithm on the basis of GPU. Moreover, the direct numerical simulation method is adopted in this algorithm to improve the solution accuracy of the simulation results. To further enhance the efficiency of the algorithm, several optimization strategies are explored in the design of the algorithm as well. Both accuracy and feasibility of the algorithm are verified by a classical two-dimensional example. Compared with solving this example on the Central Processing Unit platform, the experimental results demonstrate that the maximum speedup ratio achieved by our approach is 18.03 times. Multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithms encounter significant challenges when tackling many-objective optimization problems. This is mainly because of the imbalance between convergence and diversity that occurs when increasing the selection pressure. In this paper, a novel adaptive MOPSO (ANMPSO) algorithm based on R2 contribution and adaptive method is developed to improve the performance of MOPSO. First, a new global best solutions selection mechanism with R2 contribution is introduced to select leaders with better diversity and convergence. Second, to obtain a uniform distribution of particles, an adaptive method is used to guide the flight of particles. Third, a re-initialization strategy is proposed to prevent particles from trapping into local optima. Empirical studies on a large number (64 in total) of problem instances have demonstrated that ANMPSO performs well in terms of inverted generational distance and hyper-volume metrics. Recently, deep learning and vision-based technologies have shown their great significance for the prospective development of smart Internet of Vehicle (IoV). When the smart vehicle enters the indoor parking of a shopping mall, the vision-based localization technology can provide reliable parking service. As known, the vision-based technique relies on a visual map without a change in the position of the reference object. Although, some researchers have proposed a few automatic visual fingerprinting (AVF) methods, which are aiming at reducing the cost of building the visual map database. However, the AVF method still costs too much under such a situation, since it is impossible to determine the specific location of the displaced object. Given the smart IoV and the development of deep learning approach, we propose an algorithm for solving the problem based on crowdsourcing and deep learning in this paper. Firstly, we propose a Region-based Fully Convolutional Network (R-FCN) based method with the feedback of crowdsourced images to locate the specific displaced object in the visual map database. Secondly, we propose a method based on quadratic programming (QP) for solving the translation vector of the displaced objects, which finally solves the problem of updating the visual map database. The simulation results show that our method can provide a higher detection sensitivity and correction accuracy as well as the relocation results. The photon counting image collected under 10− 4 lux environment has a degraded image quality due to background noises and other problems. Bayesian estimation is a classical approach for photon counting image restoration and regularization has also been widely used in image processing. However, the regularization method is not suitable for photon counting images with extremely lack of information, and the recovery effect of Bayesian estimation in images mixed with unknown noise is not ideal. The main contribution of this paper is that on the basis of Bayesian estimation, the regularization method is introduced to solve the problem of restoring photon counting images mixed with unknown noise under 10− 4 lux environment. The original part is that the gamma distribution of the expected value of photon counting is used as its prior condition, and the error function is expressed as the form of the norm to establish the objective function. Through an approximate iterative solution, the optimal estimation of the photon counting expectation is carried out to achieve the optimal restoration of the photon counting image. Experiments demonstrate that the background noise is effectively removed and the image quality is improved after restoring photon counting images. Parallel machine scheduling is one of the most common studied problems in recent years, however, this classic optimization problem has to achieve two conflicting objectives, i.e. minimizing the total tardiness and minimizing the total wastes, if the scheduling is done in the context of plastic injection industry where jobs are splitting and molds are important constraints. This paper proposes a mathematical model for scheduling parallel machines with splitting jobs and resource constraints. Two minimization objectives - the total tardiness and the number of waste - are considered, simultaneously. The obtained model is a bi-objective integer linear programming model that is shown to be of NP-hard class optimization problems. In this paper, a novel Multi-Objective Volleyball Premier League (MOVPL) algorithm is presented for solving the aforementioned problem. This algorithm uses the crowding distance concept used in NSGA-II as an extension of the Volleyball Premier League (VPL) that we recently introduced. Furthermore, the results are compared with six multi-objective metaheuristic algorithms of MOPSO, NSGA-II, MOGWO, MOALO, MOEA/D, and SPEA2. Using five standard metrics and ten test problems, the performance of the Pareto-based algorithms was investigated. All existing image inpainting methods based on neural network models are affected by structural distortions and blurred textures on visible connectivity, such that overfitting and overlearning phenomena can easily emerge in the image inpainting processing procedure. Accordingly, in an attempt to address the defects of image inpainting algorithm, such as long iteration time, poor adaptability and unsatisfactory repairing effects, the image inpainting algorithm of improved Generative Adversarial Networks based on deep learning method of Two-Discriminations Network has been proposed in the paper. The proposed method uses image inpainting network, global discrimination network and local discrimination network to create a fusion network to apply computational images. In the training procedure of proposed algorithm, the network of image inpainting algorithm uses similar patching method to fill the broken area in image and set it as input training objects, which greatly improves the speed and quality of image inpainting. The global discrimination network uses global structure with marginal information and feature information to judge the completed image, meaning that it comprehensively achieves visible connectivity. As local discrimination network can judge the computational images, it has also been trained with assisted feature patches found on multiple images. Furthermore, the proposed method can enhance the discriminant capability and solve the problem that the image inpainting network has easily been overfitting when the features are too concentrated and limited in number to process. Reference point-based environmental selection has achieved promising performance in multi-objective optimization problems. However, when solving the irregular multi-objective optimization problems, the performance of environmental selection is affected. This is because the irregular Pareto front is often degraded, disconnected, inverted, or with sharp tails, resulting in some reference points not located in appropriate region. This releases the selection pressure. Therefore, adjusting or generating some points is necessary to tackle this problem. However, how to identify the region of interest and how to generate new points in the appropriate region are the current problems to be solved. In this paper, a region-based reconstruction for reference points is proposed. For simplicity, the smallest region which consists of M reference points (M is the dimension of objective space) in the hyperplane of reference point is identified as the unit region. If the vertexes of the region all belong to active reference points, the region will be identified as region of interest and new reference points will be reconstructed in this region. In addition, the process is activated in the later stage of the algorithm operation, while the efficient of the search algorithm is weak. In order to find more valuable individuals in the neighborhood region of selected individuals, thereby, firefly algorithm is employed as search algorithm because of its search mechanism which has strong indicative features. In complex networks, key nodes are important factors that directly affect network structure and functions. Therefore, accurate mining and identification of key nodes are crucial to achieving better control and a higher utilization rate of complex networks. To address this problem, this paper proposes an accurate and efficient algorithm for critical node mining. The influential nodes are determined using both global and local information (GLI) to solve the shortcoming of the existing key node identification methods that consider either local or global information. The proposed method considers two main factors, global and local influences. The global influence is determined using the K-shell hierarchical information of a node, and local influence is obtained considering the number of edges connected by the node and the given values of adjacent nodes. The given values of adjacent nodes are determined based on the degree and K-shell hierarchical information. Further, the similarity coefficient of neighbors is considered, which enhances the differentiation degree of the adjacent given values. The proposed method solves the problems of the high complexity of global information-based algorithms and the low accuracy of local information-based algorithms. The proposed method is verified by simulation experiments using the SIR and SI models as a reference, and twelve typical real-world networks are used for the comparison. The proposed GLI algorithm is compared with several common algorithms at different periods. In this paper, we propose an algorithm combining Bregman alternating minimization algorithm with two-step inertial force for solving a minimization problem composed of two nonsmooth functions with a smooth one in the absence of convexity. For solving nonconvex and nonsmooth problems, we give an abstract convergence theorem for general descent methods satisfying a sufficient decrease assumption, and allowing a relative error tolerance. Our result holds under the assumption that the objective function satisfies the Kurdyka–Łojasiewicz inequality. The proposed algorithm is shown to satisfy the requirements of our abstract convergence theorem. The convergence is obtained provided an appropriate regularization of the objective function satisfies the Kurdyka–Łojasiewicz inequality. The paper describes an algorithm of calculating the parameters of four maneuvers that allows transferring an active spacecraft to a given vicinity of a space object (SO). The motion occurs in the vicinity of a circular orbit. There are two steps that constitute the process of maneuvering parameters determination: the enumeration of possible angles of impulses application in the allowed maneuvering intervals and the determination of velocity components for each combination of these angles. For the determination of velocity components, two systems of four and two linear equations are solved. The solution of problem represents the angles of impulse applications and the corresponding velocity components that provide the transferring with minimal delta-v. An algorithm for dropout of angles combination leading to obviously non-optimal solutions is proposed. By using this algorithm one can significantly reduce the time for solving the problem. The main feature of the proposed method of maneuver parameter determination is the possibility of finding a solution with the accountancy of the maximum possible errors of the velocity impulse magnitudes arising from their execution. The paper summarizes the research progress on critical region recognition and deep metric learning to achieve accurate clothing image retrieval in cross-domain situations. Critical region recognition is of great value for the clothing feature extraction, effectively improving retrieval accuracy. The accuracy will decrease when solving difficult samples with similar features but different categories. Nowadays, deep metric learning is an effective way to solve this problem, which utilizes the optimization of different loss functions and ensemble network to strengthen the discrimination of clothing features. In this paper, a new stochastic optimization algorithm is introduced, called Driving Training-Based Optimization (DTBO), which mimics the human activity of driving training. The fundamental inspiration behind the DTBO design is the learning process to drive in the driving school and the training of the driving instructor. DTBO is mathematically modeled in three phases: (1) training by the driving instructor, (2) patterning of students from instructor skills, and (3) practice. The performance of DTBO in optimization is evaluated on a set of 53 standard objective functions of unimodal, high-dimensional multimodal, fixed-dimensional multimodal, and IEEE CEC2017 test functions types. The optimization results show that DTBO has been able to provide appropriate solutions to optimization problems by maintaining a proper balance between exploration and exploitation. The performance quality of DTBO is compared with the results of 11 well-known algorithms. A variety of meta-heuristics have shown promising performance for solving multi-objective optimization problems (MOPs). However, existing meta-heuristics may have the best performance on particular MOPs, but may not perform well on the other MOPs. To improve the cross-domain ability, this paper presents a multi-objective hyper-heuristic algorithm based on adaptive epsilon-greedy selection (HH_EG) for solving MOPs. To select and combine low-level heuristics (LLHs) during the evolutionary procedure, this paper also proposes an adaptive epsilon-greedy selection strategy. The proposed hyper-heuristic can solve problems from varied domains by simply changing LLHs without redesigning the high-level strategy. Meanwhile, HH_EG does not need to tune parameters, and is easy to be integrated with various performance indicators. We test HH_EG on the classical DTLZ test suite, the IMOP test suite, the many-objective MaF test suite, and a test suite of a real-world multi-objective problem. The problem of learning automata from example traces (but no equivalence or membership queries) is fundamental in automata learning theory and practice. In this paper, we study this problem for finite-state machines with inputs and outputs, and in particular for Moore machines. We develop three algorithms for solving this problem: (1) the PTAP algorithm, which transforms a set of input–output traces into an incomplete Moore machine and then completes the machine with self-loops; (2) the PRPNI algorithm, which uses the well-known RPNI algorithm for automata learning to learn a product of automata encoding a Moore machine; and (3) the MooreMI algorithm, which directly learns a Moore machine using PTAP extended with state merging. We prove that MooreMI has the fundamental identification in the limit property. We compare the algorithms experimentally in terms of the size of the learned machine and several notions of accuracy, introduced in this paper. We also carry out a performance comparison against two existing tools (LearnLib and flexfringe). Finally, we compare with OSTIA, an algorithm that learns a more general class of transducers and find that OSTIA generally does not learn a Moore machine, even when fed with a characteristic sample.
